The condo was perfect for our week visit to the Big Island- convenient to walk to local restaurants and shops but also easy drive to gorgeous beaches, snorkeling and cool hiking. But we found it hard to leave the large, private balcony overlooking the ocean - absolutely the best view we've ever had, just a few feet away! We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to come back!

We stayed here for 2 weeks during the Iron Man World Championships, and it couldnt have been any greater. Location was excellent. Our kids loved the pool. The beach toys, chairs, and snorkels/masks were great to have. Kitchen had everything we needed and we loved the pay iy forward cupboard.

Loved the condo. We've stayed 5 times at the Kona Reef but different units. This unit was awesome. Great views right on the ocean, updated bathroom, double A/C unit with one in the bedroom was game changer.
Great communication with the owner. Batteries were going out on the lick, within hours we had someone coming and change the batteries.

A super base for Ironman. 20 min walk to the pier. Most amazing views of the ocean from the Lanai and regular visits from the Dolphins. Fran was a really helpful host and great communication throughout.

Incredibly cheap to have only 2 SMALL rolls of toilet paper. Check in at 4 PM is kind of late, a bit earlier would be nice.

My wife and I came to support friends in the IM World Champs in October. Wanted affordability, beach view and easy access to IM village and race transition. We did get what we were looking for, but there were a few hiccups with the auto door lock, figuring out some of the amenities and cleaning before we arrived. No major deal breakers, but some minor issues and the owner rep was super quick to respond. Overall it was a good stay for what we wanted!

Stayed here for Ironman week. The place is a very well stocked rental unit, from bathroom to kitchen (other than salad spinner, LOL) to beach equipment.
Communication and directions were very clear and there is a helpful homemade binder with local information.
The pool is nice and there is a small beach about a 5 minute walk away. Easy walking distance to all the downtown restaurants, galleries, and shops.
We stayed 8 nights and saw dolphins from the lovely balcony on half of those days (early morning).
Would definitely stay here again!

Two adults for 5 days in October at this lovely oceanside condo. Charming space with all the amenities needed to make meals, drink Kona coffee on the lanai in the morning sun or sip a cocktail in the evening breeze watching the waves rush along the coastline.
The bedroom was very comfortable, with an AC, crisp sheets, and even a TV that we never turned on. We really enjoyed the beautiful tiled walk-in shower. Parking was great and convenient. The condo was equipped with snorkels and beach gear, which was fantastic since the beach was merely steps away.
It is an easy walk to the village to catch happy hour, people-watch, or grab a fresh seafood meal at one of several restaurants along the way.
Marni was fantastic, and the space is a haven. I would definitely come back here—I highly recommend booking this space.

We loved staying in this condo, owners were super helpful and responsive, you have everything you need (beach gear included), and it is close to everything. Plus you can listen the the ocean and watch the sunset right from the unit!
The place is a little older, but the pictures are very accurate, and it was well taken care of.

This condo has a fantastic location and million dollar views. The view from the balcony is amazing! The problem that we found were in the manner that the kitchen was supplied. It had the cheapest 2-toast toaster (we had to fold bread to fit) and a 5-cup coffee maker. No measuring cups or plastic platters to bring food down to the BarBQ where glass is prohibited. Broiler pan was missing and there were no cookie sheets. There isn't even a full set of dishes, Simple things like a decent set of hot pads, chip clips, drink cozies were all missing. There also was not any kleenex in the unit. These are all simple fixes that should not have to be mentioned when you are paying almost $500 per night to stay here!PS: I noted that the sliding door issue noted in August by an earlier guest still had not been resolved

Nice condo, with a superb ocean view over the Kona bay. Exquisite sunsets guaranteed. Fully equipped. Very calm and less than 1 km away from Kona village. Nice deco inside the condo. All instructions to enter where clear (did have to call).

We knew from the minute we stepped inside the condo, that we had found paradise. It was equipped with everything we would need for our stay. We, easily, prepared several dinners in the kitchen and enjoyed eating on the lanai/balcony, watching the sunsets. The bed was soooo comfortable, sleep came easily. Great restaurants were just a short walk away, cute shops were fun to browse, and walking along the Main Street with the ocean right next to us was amazing. The location was perfect. Both the owners, Regina and Scott, and the housekeeper, Linda, were very responsive to all needs. I think one of our favorite things to do was to sit on the lanai, listening to the waves crashing on the rocks right in front of us and watching the the movement of the ebb and flow of the water. We can't wait to return!! Mahalo Regina and Scott!

Location is great--close to town and right next to a nice sandy beach. As other reviews have noted, the AC can be a bit loud at times, but overall this was a great place to stay and we would definitely return.

I did not know what to expect but this condo has it all!! Walking into the condo and seeing the ocean is an experience I hope everyone gets to have!! Everything was impeccably clean, labeled and available. We cooked many of our meals in the kitchen and had everything we needed and more. The bed is VERY comfortable with AC in the master. Bathroom has beautiful art and great lighting. Plenty of hooks and storage available throughout. Living room was a dream with the million dollar view (and AC). Comfortable couch, comfortable eating area. Location of the condo is walking distance to everything, even bikes if you want to go a little further. The community area is clean and a BBQ always available. Hot tub was never over crowded. Pool opens early for those of us who have jet lag. This property has everything! The rental company had quick and efficient communication. I felt like they truly wanted me to experience the Aloha experience, and boy did we. If we ever come back to the Big Island again, I am definitely staying in this condo again!

Fully stocked home- Marni has thought of just about everything you could need from food to flippers. Lots of house amenities,new washer /dryer, nice appliances, coffee maker, Cable TV, Towels, fans, a/c that works well and easily, parking, etc. Plus house is designed as if she lived there, so it is well maintained and very comfortable.
Excellent view from the balcony, easy access to the pool/ Jacuzzi. And of course the ocean view and sunsets!
Easy walk into town 15-20 minutes.
Plus Marni was very responsive to any questions/issues we had and dealt with them immediately.
Will definitely stay again when we come back to Kona.

Leaking shower and disposal not repaired while we were there. Blender leaking as well. Single chair sunk down without adding a pillow underneath the cushion. Bed is small. The view is fanstatic with lovely sunset.

This was one of the most beautiful places we have stayed in Kona! Everything about this unit is spectacular, from the moment you walk in and hear the crashing waves right outside the lanai you are transformed to paradise. Parking is super easy, the check-in process was one of the smoothest, and the amenities within the condo are extraordinary. I cannot imagine a better view, or a better location. Kona Reef is a nice property. Our condo was very nice, good view from the lanai. The owner's instructions were comprehensive and clear (although I was unable to find the dumpster in the parking lot when it came time to check out). I would highly recommend Unit F26 to anyone.

The location was perfect for shops and restaurants and centrally located for everything else we wanted to do on island. The unit was clean and well stocked with everything we could’ve needed and more! We had a problem with the air conditioning and I contacted Kelsey and Sean and they had someone there within a couple of hours to look at it. Unfortunately, the parts had to be ordered so it couldn’t be resolved right away but they bought a portable AC unit and had it set up right away! It was slightly inconvenient but they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and to make sure we had a vacation!

We had a perfect stay, visiting Kona for the first time the oceanfront apartment was everything we wanted. The views are unforgettable and the apartment is furnished to a high and modern standard throughout. Just a 10-15 min walk in to Kona which is a blessing as parking is very limited in the town.
We were only here for 3 nights but it was a highlight of our trip and we’d love to return in future.

This unit was perfect for our family needs, kitchen had all the necessary things to cook meals/bbq. No rice pot tho, no biggie if you cook rice on the stovetop. Pool was perfect for our young family, can’t beat the location, right off Alii Dr., you can watch the surfers while cooking breakfast. Hosts had all the necessary information where you needed it, left no confusion. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful place to stay. I only have 2 complaints. 1 is the queen bedroom didn't have a dresser so that was disappointing. Second is the beach was very rocky, so not much of a beach to swim. Other then that, the two was amazing and i would come back again.
