The host was easy to connect with when we had questions. The condo was a great size for 4 adult couples and is in a nice location. We enjoyed the proximity to some snorkel beaches and only about 15 minutes to downtown Kona. Highly recommend staying here if you can!

This condo is so spacious! The kitchen looked recently remodeled and had everything you need to cook a good meal. The lanai was so great, we enjoyed sipping our morning coffee and watching the birds in the grass. Kids also enjoyed the grass area to play ball. Bathrooms were a little dated but no bother to us.

Excellent location for hopping on Hawaii Highway and heading south or north for adventure. The condo has a fantastic layout with updated finishes to feel great. Love the vaulted ceiling, lives big. The community amenties were good, as our kids swam in the pool in the evenings. Plenty of beaches with different varieties all within 20 minutes, 1 of the boys favorites was a 5 minute walk! The lanai is a lovely balcony for lounging, playing cards, sipping kona coffee & just listening to the ocean. Farmers Market IS FABULOUS & just 2 min up the hill

The complex is nice well kept up secured with fate access, the pool area is nice and easy access to the ocean. The unit we stayed at was nice and clean plenty of room. If you're looking for a hot shower you're out of luck, it's warm at best. I reported it and they said they would look into but nothing was done about it. Both bathrooms have showers that are nice, no bathtub for kids but it wasn't a big deal for us. The downstairs bedroom mattress is terrible, my son said the upstairs was fine. I killed five German roaches in the kitchen but they had a scheduled pest control come spray all the units so they do try to maintain bugs. Upstairs a little noisy from road noise, Overall a nice well kept place I would definitely rent in this complex again but maybe try to get a unit right on the water.

We spend Thanksgiving break at this place. It was wonderful. It looked exactly like the pictures and we loved how modern and clean this place was. Well furnished and maintained. It’s close to everything. The amenity of the property was great. We got to play pickle ball with the paddles provided by the owner. We even watched sunset from the property. This is a fabulous location and a beautifully maintained property. It was clean and extremely comfortable! Communication was top notch and attention to detail was on point! Our family of 4 adults and 1 teenager were very happy. It was a great spot for morning coffee and family meals over-looking the ocean. Wow! We enjoyed the heritage sites and seeing the sacred grounds from a distance on the beach. Our children teach yoga so we were able to practice down on the beach in the morning. This special family time was one of the highlights of our trip. We also appreciated the beach gear and the proximity to a safe low key beginner surfer spot. Mahalo, Mahalo!!!

We left after one day due to lack of air conditioning. It was so hot you couldn’t sleep even with every single fan on (like five fans). The lack of air conditioning was one sentence at the end of a very long dissertation about the property, we missed that or we wouldn’t have booked it. I’m also not sure I’d call it remodeled…several outlets are sketchy, cords are run across the floor, second bedroom window is not openable. Obviously not a good experience given we left after one day of a five day reservation.

We’ve stayed in the Surf and Racquet Club several times before and always appreciated how well kept it is and especially the quiet location. This unit was wonderful - ground floor, corner unit and the ocean just beyond the grass. We especially enjoyed sitting on the lanai in the early mornings and sunset evenings. The place was great for a family of four to spend a week on the big island. This was our 3rd trip to Kona and this place was by far the best place we've stayed. There was plenty of kitchen stuff to make meals including spices, cooking oil, pots, pans, etc. Plenty of beach gear was provided including snorkel masks and boogie boards, and towels. My only gripe is that they provided camp chairs instead of beach chairs. The place was clean and well kept, as was the entire condo community. The complex was quiet at night (except for the sound of waves). Highly recommend!

The view, sound of the ocean, and well outfitted lanai were all amazing. This is a home (not just a unit for rent) and is fully stocked. One tip: if the temps are above 80 and there is humidity, you will want to opt in for the AC. I thought the icean breeze would be enough, but not with humidity! Its about a 10 to 15 minute drive into town, but there is a grocery store, drug store and restaurant just 3 minutes away. Loved this place. Wouldn't change a thing.

This location would be hard to beat. The patio was the next thing to the ocean itself. We had breakfast out there every morning. Absolutely beautiful sunsets and the sound of the waves were wonderful. And it was only a couple minutes from a major supermarket and several very good restaurants as well as quick access to the major N/S and E/W highways on the island.While the property may appear a bit dated, it was well furnished and included all kitchen items and anything else we wished would be there during our stay.Never had one thought of regret in booking this property. This place has water front and sunset views and they were amazing. It has everything you need for cooking and cleaning. They had beach chairs,Noodles, boogie boards, beach towels and ice chests. They had plenty of beds so nobody had to sleep on a sofa bed. The AC worked great. Outside is a beautifully manicured setting with Bbq areas, it was quiet, I just can’t say enough about this property. It was like being at home - they provided everything.

There is an egg crate to mask both beds worn mattresses. When you are away and on vacation, the 2 most important factors are cleanliness and comfort of the beds, (linens, pillows, mattress). The owner really needs to replace the mattresses in this VRBO.

The location is good, and it was easy to check in. We didn't have any problem with the AC upstairs, so it was comfortable despite the hot weather. But the interior is quite dated and felt a bit grimy. The sinks and other parts of the house had hard water stains and rust in places. The kitchen was somewhat run down, as well. None of these were big problems, but I'd probably look for a different place if we come back to the area.
