Kahana Sunset is a beautiful property in a great location. The condo itself was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. It has a well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds with soft linens and pillows. The available beach chairs were a definite bonus.

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Our condo was clean and well-stocked with essentials. The beach gear was so appreciated! Be sure to page through the thoughtful and intentional books-especially the guidebook (Maui Revealed-it’s all you’ll need to plan your week!!), Jaws, and the book explaining the artwork/artist! The location of the condo in West Maui was extremely convenient! Highly recommend! Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Perfect place for kids, with the pool and little beach easily accessible. The easy entry made it great for snorkeling and swimming around! The condominium was quiet and felt like home, so was very relaxing to just hang out in or when returning back after day excursions.

The property and location were amazing. We were thoroughly pleased with every aspect of our stay in Kahana Sunset B6. We especially liked the relaxing feel and amazing views. I highly recommend this location. I read reviews concerning the AC units being on a timer and did not experience that problem. We set them to the desired temperature and they stayed there the entire time, which added to the experience because we need it cold to sleep. Kids and Grandma loved it too.

Kitchen Utensils were very limited. We didn't ask for any assistance from Sullivan Properties, but would probably choose to stay at another Condo in Kahana Sunset rather than go back to B1B,

The property was beautiful. 5 stars! We have a couple of suggestions: update the living room sofa and set the A/C a bit cooler. Nothing that would prevent us from staying in the future, however. Thanks for helping us have a wonderful stay.

Nice quiet location that was not far from everything that we wanted to do. Beach was mostly non-existent on the property while we were there, but we were able to snorkel there a couple of times. Lots of lounge chairs in the community areas for the pool and sunset watching.
Property managers were very prompt in addressing two small issues that we had. The unit is getting a little worn (could use some upgrades to the bathrooms) but everything was very clean.

Our little ones were able to play on a quiet beach and swim in the pool. All with in steps of our unit. The grounds keepers were friendly during our few interactions. Location is a quiet part of the island. Activities were a 30-90min drive for us wanting to just relax this home was perfect

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The condo is roomy and well equipped. The groundskeepers helped us pick and enjoy the fresh fruit on the property which was really fun (bananas, limes, papayas, mangos). Property management was wonderful. We needed a few things, contacted them, and they were immediately helpful. Laundry in the unit, two patios both with ocean views, and many more things made this a really great stay. Also, loved the location. Very close to bays for great snorkeling, within walking distance of a market, restaurants, etc. We would for sure be back and recommend to others.

We had a fabulous time at this condo! Pool and beach are fantastic for a family. Saw numerous turtles! Plus we received fruits (mangos, lemons, papayas) from the grounds keepers during our stay, which was a unexpected plus. This complex has a very relaxing quite vibe to it. We enjoyed just sitting on the balcony and just enjoying the sunrise and sunsets each evening! Highly recommend!

Our unit at Kahana Sunset was clean and had everything we needed for our 10-day stay. We had an issue with the AC and it was promptly fixed. Our host was caring and communicative. The grounds are immaculately cared for and one groundskeeper even cut fresh mango and papaya for us! Kahana is conveniently located a short drive from Kaanapali (though be aware that it might be sunny just south in Lahaina and rainy here!). The pool is nice and thankfully has a baby pool if you have a non-swimmer. The only thing I wish we were aware of is how tiny the private beach is now due to erosion, etc. You can find out more if you want to Google it. There are so many turtles here and it’s so lovely that we probably wouldn’t have needed to drive to other beaches! But the beach is now so small that unless conditions are perfect (i.e. no wind), it isn’t safe for little kids to play.

The Kahana Sunset is a beautiful setting and a lovely place to relax and rejuvenate. Lance, the groundskeeper seems to work 24 hours a day and keeps everything clean, functioning, and pleasing. Our family had the best time at Kahana Sunset and were especially impressed with our stay in B2. We traveled with two other families who stayed in other B units, so we had good points of comparison and were so glad we chose B2! It had a well stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds, great showers and a surprising amount of separation between bedrooms! Our two young daughters loved eating at the kitchen peninsula every morning and being close proximity to the pool was a huge win for them. We loved all the features at Kahana Sunset as well—very clean, family friendly & peaceful. Loved all of our sunset dinners with our friends & with the Kahana Sunset community that came out each night also.
The only small negatives for us were the AC (you really have to stay on top of turning on the unit in the primary bedroom & living room, otherwise it can be a little warm) and the oven, which is *very* small, and cooks quite unevenly, so don’t plan on making baked goods the center of any meal!
But neither of those things would give us pause in saying that this place is *fantastic* and we will definitely be returning to B2!

Our unit was just as described and we enjoyed it very much. The unit and property were well maintained and equipped with everything we needed, even beach chairs and towels. The landscaping was beautiful. The beach is very small as described, but really fun just the same. Sea turtles abound all around the shoreline. Everyone gathers for the perfect sunset view every evening. Grills are provided, some work better than others but we got it done. The pool is heated and very pretty. There’s a store in walking distance and many larger beaches nearby. The management was communicative and friendly.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Kahana Sunset. It was 3 adults and 2 kids ages 8 and 15. The kids loved being able to go to the beach and swim with turtles close by. And some days they just enjoyed being in the pool! The views are incredible in D3. Everyday was magical just looking outside in the balcony and even caught a rainbow the next day after getting there. The place had everything we needed for 8 days and 7 nights including beach stuff that came so much in handy while going out. We will definitely be back and seriously can’t wait. This was our first time staying in Kahana. It was much quieter than Kaanapali or Kihei where we usually stay. It was a great location. The property is older, but nice. There was no AC in our unit, which was fine for us, but might be an issue for others.

Relaxing, reading and having our morning coffee or evening cocktails on either balcony was amazing. The sounds of the ocean from our master suite was a true joy. We really enjoyed this space. The location is wonderful, peaceful and quiet. The kitchen had all the necessary things to make a few meals and enjoy the patio. The beach was great for snorkeling and swimming and we saw turtles and each day. The pool was so warm it was great after a long day. We had great breakfasts at AA Roots and recommend eating there. 808 Deli in Kihei was another awesome place. We would definitely come come. Thank you!
