We returned from this wonderfully appointed, beyond well-cared for property just yesterday. The prior positive reviews were absolutely spot-on! From the ease of check-in / check-out to the immaculate cleanliness of the property, it just cannot be beaten. Honestly, we are simply unable to cite a single drawback to any aspect of the property. The location was great - close to everything in Kihei. Add to that the fact that the owners have spared no expense - literally, almost everything from all sorts of beach equipment, great linen and towel quality, lovely furniture and new kitchen appliances, to almost every kind of in-house electronic device is provided as advertised. Moreover, communicating with the owners was fast and effortless. We cannot wait to return (provided the property is not booked full for the next year which, honestly, it should be), We enjoyed our stay immensely and, if you book this property, you will too.

The location is perfect, steps away from the beach, good eats directly across the street we love Kamaole Beach Royale. #508 has a great view but we were a little disappointed with the condo. It has an old odor probably due to the rugs and furniture. It looked clean but it didn’t feel clean. There is a cockroach problem, traps are visible and saw a few roaming in the kitchen. The complimentary beach chairs and such are worn out but they did the job. Everything thing worked as should. We have stayed in #308 twice and that condo was in better shape. We picked #508 for the view and it was priced lower than #308. We will try other condos at KBR you just cant beat it.

What a fantastic apartment Wendy has.
Sitting on the Lani watching the ocean and the mountains in the distance, while the sunsets over Maui is a great way to end the day.
Walking distance to the beach, restaurants etc.
Apartment was well finished, comfortable bed, and all the beach gear you could use.
We would not hesitate to recommend Wendy’s apartment.

Myself and my girlfriend arrived to Maui end of August excited for a memorable trip. We left Maui as an engaged couple so I’d say we met our goal!
For a fun trip like this, we wanted to find an apartment in a great location that was clean, accessible, safe and reasonably priced. This listing hit all of the marks and exceeded our expectations.
For a small bit of background, I have stayed in this apartment complex before in a different unit for a family trip. I understood the location was great but what set this place apart is within the complex, the apartment was clean and the views were outstanding.
Our host was responsive and accommodating. It was the perfect spot to set up “home base” during our holiday. I would recommend that anyone who is looking at a place to stay in Maui look no further. Recommendations have already been made to family and friends!

The apartment it is only half a block from the Kamaole Beach I, a very quiet and nice beach. It is full equiped and clean, giving the ability to cook whatever you want. Washer and dryer are a plus.
The lanai (balcony) has awesome views to the beach. It is even better than the pictures.
The parking space isn't too wide, but we could park our SUV with no major difficulties.
It have some minor details, like a noise some of the lanai courtines make, or some issues with the microwave that are easy to fix. Other than that, 100% reccomended.

This place was great! It’s walking distance to everything you need in Kihei, beach, stores, restaurants, etc. the place was really clean, and had all the ameneties you and the family need during a vacation. I stayed at the rental with my 2 children in their 20's. The location was perfect as it was a few minutes walk to the beach. It was very close to our snorkel tour for Molokini Crater also. I wish there were more detailed instructions on how to run the AC. Instructions in the unit were vague and it was not a thermostat like a home with central air would have. We split our time between the condo and a resort in Kaanapali. Would stay at the condo again!

Across the street from the beach with a phenomenal balcony to enjoy the view and sunsets. Washing machine wasn’t working when we were there (scheduled for repair), but the property manager offered to pick up and have our laundry done while we were there. Wasn’t necessary as we had friends we could use their facilities, but the proactive way of offering to address was greatly appreciated.
Fantastic location and set up for our family vacation. Would definitely stay here again!

The condo is exceptional. Beautifully decorated. Having two bathrooms was extremely helpful. The lanai was nice because there was an eating area and a lounge area. The sunsets were spectacular. We were close to grocery stores, restaurants, activities, and souvenirs. Great communication with the host. Would love to stay here again if we make it back to Maui.

Great property. One huge complaint needs additional air conditioning unit. It was warm in the condo. If we didn’t have the a\c on it would have been very uncomfortable. Layout and amenities were great but don’t know if I would stay there again because of the heat and humidity in the condo.

Condo is clean with a good view. We were able to watch the sunset every night. The beach is a short stroll but it wasn't our favorite beach. The waves were pretty rough the entire time we were there (which changes). The beach is washed out with orange fencing along a lot of it. We enjoyed the location and could walk to some shops. The back rooms are indeed very hot. Thankfully the place has fans and my kids didn't complain but if it had been me sleeping back there I would have been miserable (we stayed first week in August). Condo is on the 5th floor. The washing machine was broken, that was a little inconvenient. They did take our clothes, wash them and bring them back but it would have been better to just have the washer. The place was comfortable, beds and sitting areas. It was a decent place to stay.

We had a fabulous stay at the condo. The property description was accurate. The location was perfect with easy access to Kamaole Beach 1 right across the street. We enjoyed waking up to an ocean view every morning. The property was clean & they provided everything we needed to make us feel at home. The Kamaole Beach Royale is also next to the Dolphin Plaza where you can find restaurants, guft shops, a nail salon & many more shops. I would definitely stay at Kamaole Beach Royale #212 again.

We loved having AC in all the rooms and having a great view of the ocean. There are a few quirks about the place that I would change if I could, but overall it was great. Like others have said, you can’t really use the freezer
because it’s close to the wall.

Very spacious and well appointed condo in a great complex. This was our 4th stay in the Kamaole Beach Royale and we keep returning because of the perfect location, amazing views and setting. This condo has everything you could need on vacation. Very comfy rooms and beds, large double lanai, modern kitchen and appliances. Everything is well looked after. The swimming pool is clean and is well positioned for sun but offers enough shade around it too. The beach across the road is safe for all the family. Parking space on site. Nice cafes and shops opposite the complex. The property managers were very responsive to our queries so you are in good hands. Definitely worth considering for your next stay on Maui.

We loved the location and the 3 seperate bedrooms for us 5 adults was perfect, There were 2 disappointing issues......... The washer did not work and the unit needs a deep cleaning..especially the carpet in the traffic area. We will definately stay here again if the 2 issues are resolved.

This was the perfect spot for our family. We enjoyed the views from the lanai and king size bed.
Everything was super simple, and a breeze. My only complaint was the firmness of the king bed. But that is just preference so I really don’t have anything negative to say.

I stayed in this property with 2 adult family members. The supplies were perfect and everything was excellent. I had requested that the 2nd bedroom be combined into one king (instead of the default 2 twins), which was all ready to go when we arrived (and very comfortable). We had everything we needed, including kitchen items, laundry, and very nice beach chairs and umbrella. I would definitely recommend this unit and hope to return again soon!

Just a short walk to the Cinnamon Roll place, TWO shave ice stores, several restaurants, the ABC Market, and of course KAM 1 beach. The view from the top deck, where the BBQs are, was second to none. Our family travels a lot. We are not newbies to changing places.
Pros: Location is amazing. It truly is. Just get your towel/blanket and in less than 5 min of slow walking you will find yourself enjoying one of the best beaches in the area.
Apartment was clean and definitely better than pictures.
Pros/Cons: Interior is kind of outdated. While nothing is wrong with it, we constantly had a feeling of being in grandma's house.
Cons: Here I have to explain more. Everything was as usual accept one thing. After booking owner mentioned a "starter package" of what's needed and Costco availability. I didn't pay attention to this note until we arrived. And let me remind you, we travel a lot, using Airbnb, Vrbo. We never had this kind of "starter package" before. In this case "starter package" means about 1/4-1/3 roll of toilet tissue in each bathroom and no paper towels in the kitchen. That's it! So, lets see, you traveling, give or take, 8-10 hours on average to get there. From Chicago it was 4 hours flight to LA, 1.5 hour lay over and then 5 hours to Maui. You rented your car, finally got to your destination just to find out you need to go shopping just to use a restroom or make a quick meal. Really? We never had this kind of situation before. Mentioning of the Costco was really kind. It means for your 7-10 days stay you will need to buy 12 rolls paper towel and 24 rolls of toilet tissue... Nonsense. If not the location, I would definitely take off more than one star.
