This was the best rental we have ever stayed in! Extremely clean, great kitchen equipment, plenty of towels, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, and even sand toys. We were pleasantly surprised at how close it was to Charlie Young Beach, just a five minute walk from the condo. Loved the Kihei area, it gives a very relaxed vibe.

Condo was in a great location, just across the street from the beach and close to many restaurants and little shops. There were several beach chairs/umbrellas/coolers/sand toys in the closet that made our stay extra convenient. The views from the balcony were gorgeous. It was the perfect place to get away.

Condo was very clean and stocked with kitchen items . There were beach chairs and a boogie board to borrow . We had a wonderful trip and enjoyed Kihei , the local beaches and glorious sunsets . Snorkel at beach park 3 in the morning before nine to see lots of fish, turtles and eels..

We had a great stay! It was nice to be so close to the ocean and having the beach chairs there was very much appreciated. The view from the balcony was amazing!
Just a side note about parking: We were told by security that you can get a parking pass from them or the office. We arrived on a Sunday night and was going to wait until Monday (as we were told to go to the office) but came out to a warning on our car Monday morning. Our days are busy though so we never would have caught the office open so it was nice to get it from the security.

We had a wonderful time! The condo was cute, very well organized, and exactly what we were looking for! We are a family of 5. Our kids enjoyed the upstairs and were comfortable with the beds. We were able to use the beach chairs provided which came in handy. Laurie, the owner communicated with us many times and was extremely attentive. To make it easier for us, we only used the upstairs shower which was very roomy and had good water pressure. I feel like this condo is in a great central location. We explored majority of the island and visited multiple beaches. Laurie had given us some recommendations for beaches, restaurants, etc and we’re were happy with all of them. My only minor complaint is that the downstairs bedroom has an air conditioner which is attached to a timer of 2-3 hours. We only used the air at night and it was frustrating to wake up hot because it had turned off. The air in the living room and upstairs worked until you turned them off. I also didn’t find the downstairs bed very comfortable (I have a bad back and am picky for that reason)
Overall, we all had a wonderful time and didn’t want to leave!!

We were so happy with everything about this condo. First, the location was perfect. It's right across the street from Charley Young beach (one of the best in my opinion) and so easy to get to as there is a crosswalk right in front of the complex (important as South Kihei road is very busy). Also, the complex itself is so well maintained and clean. We used the BBQs a few times and they were spotless, as was the pool area.
The condo/unit itself was wonderful. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. The hosts have really anticipated guests needs as it was so well appointed. It accommodated our family of 4 perfectly. There is plenty of storage space in the bathrooms / bedrooms and also a pantry/closet in the hallway that you can store food / etc. The air conditioning and fans kept the unit very cool and comfortable.
Finally, the hosts are so helpful and responsive. Right from the moment I booked the condo, I had timely communication from the host. When we arrived, there were a few minor issues but between the host and property management group they were resolved quickly. Cindie even followed up with me a couple of times to be sure everything was ok.
Don't think twice about renting this unit, you won't be disappointed.

We loved the location, as it is very close to many fun things to do, and especially close to the beach! The view from the lanai is beautiful, and the condo was well maintained. The walk to the beach everyday was short. One small item - in the photos an cooler is shown, but there was no cooler in the unit. We ended up buying one, so not a huge problem. Easy walable location, we did rent a car for 1 week to enjoy the rest of the island.
Grounds are so relaxing, quite with no nonsense security on the property 24 hours it seemed. Plenty of parking.
3 pools, we almost every time had pool to ourselves. Foodland is a half a mile and movie theater a bit further.
Beach right across the street.

We cam with a family of six to begin with. My wife and I, Our Son and his Wife, Along with their ti kids 6 and 7. This was our 10 year visiting Maui Visti.We have never stay in the same room twice. Sometimes staying on the 4th floor can be too warm due to the pitch of the ceiling and the lack of airconditiong. BUT not this unit. Shannon has 3 split aircondition units along with fan . One in the living room, one in the master bedroom and on upstairs for the quest area.
Dishes, Shannon has a complete et on new corelle dishes, all kinds of glasses, pots and pans of all kinds, even an assorement of plasticcontainers for leftovers.

It's a nice 1 bedroom plus loft. The beach is a little over a block a way. Our only issue is that main bedroom does not get cool. There is no air circulation or air conditioning so if you have trouble sleeping in the heat it might be an issue for you. The bedroom did have fans but it's circulating hot air. Our family slept in the pull out couch and bed in the loft.

The apartment was well equipped and renewed. It is perfected located and central on Maui. The beaches are very near located and are one of the most beautiful. Contact with the owner was very friendly and helpful. There is terras with palms and the pool is perfect to relax and cool down:-) We (2 adults and 2 kids of 3 and 6) and enjoyed 8 days on Mai in a wonderful apartment.

We enjoyed this condo while visiting family for 2 weeks in June. For us, the most excellent qualities of this home were the comfortable beds (including the Murphy bed!), the air conditioning in the living room AND bedroom, the location (especially being in bldg 1), the ground floor lanai and short walk to the pool and beach! We also used the beach chairs and umbrellas just about every day. There were also several ice chests. The grounds of the entire property were very well maintained and parking was never a problem. BBQs worked well and are very close to the condo. The owner always responded almost immediately whenever we communicated with him.
We had a problem getting the cable TV to work and it's an older smart TV so we were unable to add new apps to it to watch anything else. But it was nice to "check out" from TV while we were on Maui. There's a musty smell in the bedroom (maybe from the wooden furniture that got damp?) and not a lot of toiletries provided but the positives by far outweigh any slight negative we may have experienced. We inquired about staying here again in October but it's booked and we have an extra person so we were able to book a 2-bedroom in the same building. We've stayed at several different condos in Kihei and finally decided Maui Vista has the best location for us. I would recommend this to any family of 4 that can get away with 1 bathroom. As mentioned, the Murphy bed is great and so much better than a pull out couch.

Pros - nice view, good for a family with kids. Lots of beach amenities so you don't have to buy or bring your own. We love being across from Charley Young beach park. Cons - The unit could use a total refresh. There's carpet throughout the main living areas which is strange and feels dirty in a sandy environment. As others described, the unit feels unclean but mainly because it's very old. I suspect there haven't been any major fixes/updates to it in decades. The kitchen is galley style and extremely small, especially for a family trying to prepare meals. Odd - the TV lost connection to the internet (and would not reconnect) two nights in a row at the same time. Emails to the property manager were not answers. Overall - decent but I'd find a different unit next time.

I’d give extra stars if I could. We loved absolutely everything about our stay at George’s condo in Kihei. George is the perfect host, anticipating all your needs and communicating clearly about everything you need and might want to know. The condo was spotless and very well stocked. We so appreciated the beach supplies! The beds were super comfortable and we loved having a/c in every room even if we didn’t always need it. The property is beautifully landscaped and maintained and the pool is lovely. Also, we tried almost every one of George’s restaurant recommendations and they were all fantastic. We especially enjoyed Nalu’s and the Kinaole food truck. We loved the location, close to excellent beaches and everything in Kihei. It’s also very convenient for visiting other parts of the island. It was our first time in Hawaii so we can’t compare it to other places but based on the other spots we visited, we liked Kihei best and will definitely be back. If you come to Kihei, do yourself a favour and stay here! Mahalo!

Maui Vista Apartments is a comfortable complex building that is centrally located in Kihei at a walking distance to all the beach attractions of the area. Our unit was very private on the third building and fourth floor which is the farthest from the road but still close to the beach and with an unexpected great view to the ocean and the mountains. The only noise we had was very welcomed coming from birds singing in the morning. The kitchen was small but well equipped and all you need to prepare a meal and take a break from the restaurant scene. The layout with one bedroom in the first floor and the second bedroom in the attic was very functional and private. This is the perfect place for a family to be together yet have enough room to be comfortable. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Property is Beatiful palms Rt off the lanai, sheltered from afternoon winds. Beach in walking distance, easy access pool for simpler swims with children, condo well stocked and nice arrangement of furniture/supplies. Plenty of dining and treat options, and beaches galore up and down the coast. The exterior light does illuminate the master bedroom all night long, just a design flaw for this room other rooms do t have, maybe a blackout curtain for night use. Simple check in and check out. Loved it, the whole family did!

This was a prime location, within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, and nice beaches. We stayed over fourth of July week and Wailea has one of the best (and few) fireworks shows on Maui. It was easily viewable from Kamaole Beach, 10 min walk from the property. Other perks: beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, and beach towels were all provided; the kitchen is stocked with enough items to cook breakfast, make coffee, and prep food for the beach; the A/C units cooled the property quickly; the porch area is quiet and private; the bed is huge and comfortable.

The location of the condo is fantastic, and the view is beautiful. Property management was fantastic - we had a couple of things come up (a leaky faucet that needed replacing, a broken shower head and some very noisy neighbors) and they were amazing about all of it! The faucet and shower head were fixed immediately and they were helpful about the neighbors. The setup of the condo is great, we have two teens and they each had their own bed, a separate bathroom and space to hang out and my husband and I had our own space as well.
Parking was close to the unit, check in was easy, even though we got in after hours it was no big deal. We liked the pool, although not huge it was never crowded and we loved the fact that it was salt water and not chlorine (my son has a severe chlorine allergy so this was a huge bonus!) The beach across the street is great and we really appreciated the beach chairs, noodles, boogie boards, coolers and umbrella!
The only reason for the lesser rating is that unit really is dated and was not super clean. Part of that is due to its age, some things are as clean as they are going to get I guess but there were other things that were just not done. For this reason, I would definitely rent from the management group again but not this particular unit.
