Our extended family all met in Maui for a week-long vacation at this beautiful condo in Kahana. The top floor unit was clean and had provisions for all of our group. The rooms and beds were all comfortable, and recently updated kitchen, bathrooms and living spaces were great. We enjoyed the beach chairs, snorkel gear and towels provided. The laundry closet was great, and the lanai was great for relaxing with a great view of the islands. We would definitely stay ere again!

This is our third visit to the Sands of Kahana. We stayed at another Sullivan Property the last two times. This is now our favorite unit. The view is amazing. The furniture is comfortable and clean. The bath tub was a great added feature. And having air conditioning was wonderful plus. My family of 5 loved it and will definitely be back.

This unit was perfect for our group of 8. We had family including 4 grand kids and plenty of room for all. The owners thought of EVERYTHING when furnishing and stocking the unit. The pool and sand toys (chairs, boogie boards, cooler, umbrella, roller cart) were a big hit with our group also. We recommend to all and hope to be back soon.

We had a wonderful stay. The condo was equipped with everything you could need from laundry detergent to boogie boards. The sunset each night was unbelievable as you are right on the beach with an unobstructed view. The beach was calm and good for children; we even saw a sea turtle. Overall, we found the condo to be great and John was highly communicative and a wonderful host.

Everything was very smooth!
The condo was just as described. It was clean and beautiful. The panoramic view was amazing!
Additionally, Cynthia provided a "starter kit" for us and that little extra touch is just another example of a wonderful host. It goes to show that she has thought about her guests and their experience at her property.
I would definitely stay again if we returned to Maui.

The condo is exactly as advertised. We just stayed here for 10 days in August 2024. The place was impeccably clean. Contact with the owner was as easy as it gets from the rental terms, to checking in to checking out. We had the most spectacular time at this property. It was like being at home, but in a magical location. Th home was stocked with everything you’d need to take a family vacation. The beds were comfortable and the home was immaculate. We had large family dinners every night and the kitchen was ready for use. The view of f the ocean and pool was the best! Location and overall property amenities were great. Views were breathtaking. Check in was a little more complicated than just providing my ID (the property rents directly as well and VRBO rental required more work to check in). Furniture and interior are very dated. Found two dead cockroaches when we checked in and outside lanai’s hadn’t been cleaned in a while.

Overall the stay was wonderful and the property lived up to the listing. We had a few hiccups that were resolved reaching out to the host.
Location was really wonderful and right between some of our favorite parts in Maui. Even for being in the middle of July, the condo stayed cool and cooled off easily at night, no one complained of being too hot at all.
Condo was outfitted with everything we needed to stay for 8 nights and our kids had a lot of space to play and unwind from busy days.

Upon planning my return to Maui (after 15 years) I read all the reviews for this unit in Sands of Kahana (after looking at the listing and photos dozens of times)& finally took the plunge and booked it. Communication leading up to it was just as expected and sure enough, as promised, 3 days before our check-in, we got the instructions. Upon arriving, Cindy-our host, made sure to check in with me to make sure everything was just fine. The condo was just beautiful & the pictures depict it perfectly. I really couldn't believe the view. Yes I had seen the photos, but would it really be that good I had asked myself? Sure enough it was & every morning, & pretty much any time of day we happened to be in the condo-we could see turtles swimming by. That was pure entertainment right there. But along with that, 3 of the mornings, after an overnight rain, we got rainbows!!!! No one told us to expect that! Then there were the sunsets. Boy, was that a treat. One night I wanted to just see it from the condo rather than the beach & it was everything I had hoped for. The amenities in the condo were wonderful as well & a big plus to making our stay even more perfect. There were multiple coffee makers &pretty much any appliance or spice you might need. Beach towels were bountiful as well as regular towels &the washer/dryer was a blessing. We were all so happy with our stay in this unit, it really made our trip absolutely wonderful!

This condo is a great location, with a beautiful view. The beach is nice and sandy and all the accommodations we needed were within walking distance. The only downside to this condo is the fact that it does not have air-conditioning. We stayed at the end of July, and not having air-conditioning, meant it was very warm & sticky every night. I ended up buying 4 box fans, just so we could sleep! Other than that, everything worked out well!

This condo exceeded all our expectations. First was the VIEW, which was gorgeous!!! The second were the extremely comfortable beds and bedrooms, large well equipped kitchen and living room. The location on the first floor and right on the beach (a walk down stairs and around the side of the bldg) was perfect!! What an awesome lanai, with stunning views and sounds of the ocean. A great place to swim and snorkel. The resort itself is a little dated but we weren’t there for the resort amenities. There were so many experiences we wanted to have on the island. Thank you for making our first trip to Maui very special!!

We stayed at Lisa's condo with our kids and family friends, in total there were four adults and four kids under ten. The condo was perfect for us. There was plenty of room for everyone and the condo was stocked with everything that we could need. The beach was great for the kids and we saw turtles every day! The host was not very helpful. We didn’t receive any emails with instructions for whatever reason and they made no effort to send to another email or to answer simple questions.
The condo had everything we needed beach gear, kitchen items but bring a spatula because they only have one and it comes apart when you use it!

The condo was air conditioned, in a perfect location 5th floor looking down on the beach. The kitchen had plenty of dishes&pots&pans The grills on the grounds were good. The restaurant was nice. We LOVED this place! Great location that was walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, and the ABC store. The beach was great and not too crowded. The restaurant on site was convenient and good. The unit was PERFECT-very clean and uncluttered, the views were spectacular, parking was easy and always available. The beds were comfortable, the shower had good water pressure, the kitchen was spacious and very well-equipped. We appreciated being able to use the folding chairs, boogie boards and beach towels that were in unit. We opened windows per Cynthia's instructions and loved the trade winds. We also used the A/C at night. We really couldn't have found better accommodations! We were very please with our choice to stay here! I would highly recommend staying here! (We watched sea turtles swimming in the ocean from our balcony every day!!!!)

This is a great condo for a chill relaxing getaway. You can’t go wrong ! The only reason I left 4 stars is because the front desk is not very friendly, the gym equipment is old and outdated, the building needs a paint job, and the tub was not functioning. So many people had their doors open and it was because so few have AC. We were very lucky to have AC. Overall great stay!

This particular property is fantastic. Everything in the condo room was perfect. So well equipped. However the overall resort property, is a little run down, though the condo owner can’t do much about that.
The beds will probably need to be replaced soon. We had some sore backs. We wished it had AC but even in the middle of July, we didn’t need it.

This unit is beautifully decorated and very well stocked with cooking utensils, laundry soap, dish soap etc. We always bring our own spices, baggies, shampoos and body soaps but there was some soaps to shower with and ample hand soaps. The unit was very clean. You can’t beat the location in the building! The views are breathtaking! Check-out and check-in was really easy. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! I almost hate to give a good review as we would want it to be our hidden gem :)

The location of this property is beautiful with unobstructed views of the water, a sandy beach and a pool ( mainly if you have little ones). It is perfect for 2 couples. The amenities are above & beyond ...very soft , cozy linens, plenty of extra pillows, a solid wood sliding door allowing privacy for the master suite, a kitchen with everything you could need, a few TV's , lovely tub with water views, plenty of beach toys and a nespresso machine! The complex is a bit dated but the unit itself is wonderful. The Beach House restaurant is yummy for lunch and there is a good bar there too. We enjoyed our stay --wish it had been longer. THX!

It met all our needs. Very spacious with enough sleeping spots for all ten of us. Kitchen was well supplied with cooking items. Absolutely loved the view from the balcony. Our only complaint was the floors didn’t seem as clean as they could be.
