As my 17-year old niece stated "this place is awesome." We went to Magic Sands beach every day in the morning before the crowds and our 4-year old got up every morning ready to go back to the beach. The location was great for beach, easy trips to restaurants, groceries, Captain Cook areas, and the highway to get around the island. This was our third visit to the big island and this was our favorite location, yet. We will check for availability here first next time we visit.
The condo itself was very clean, had everything we needed, and the owners were very communicative. Parking was a breeze and we made many meals in the kitchen. Would highly recommend this rental unit.

This was such a great condo with an excellent location! Very close to downtown Kona, shopping, restaurants, and the beach! It was nice to have Magic Sands across the street (the waves there are a little intense) and the condo had EVERYTHING we needed! Chairs, bags, boogie boards, towels, beach mats, multiple coolers. I only rented a wagon and our own snorkel stuff. We loved the elevated decor and design, the beds were comfy and the kitchen had plenty of dishes/cookware. Very family friendly. Bathroom includes a tub for kids, but the water fills up super slowly. Such an easy and welcoming stay! Check in was super easy, check out is very prompt. We would love to stay again!

This is a great condo, very well equipped, quiet and clean, plus lanai with nice ocean views. Comfortable beds & sheets, we slept so well here! Across the street from wonderful swimming at Magic Sands beach and the tasty Magics restaurant. Pretty pool area and billiards table in the common area which was a hit! This condo was perfect for our family of four. Thank you to the hosts for sharing this home, we really liked it for our 8-night stay. Mahalo!

Hawaii was amazing and the condo was the perfect location for relaxation and downtime. The kids loved the pool and the spacious living room. We loved the great kitchen a d excellent indoor and outdoor dining spaces.

After we came back, they charge me $97, because they found out the towels turned a dingy blue/gray.
Towels is consumables for hotel. They make addition charge only something blue on towels. I clear everything, but still get charge, feel so sad, like whatever you do, they still going to charge you.

Wonderful place. Right across from the best sand beach for swimming and boogie boarding. Close to great spots for snorkeling and close enough to go out in Kailua without being in middle of the bustle. Condo was well equipped both in the kitchen and for beach equipment. Large balcony with unobstructed views of the neighborhood and partial ocean view. Very clean and beds were super comfortable.

The owners went to great lengths to make this apartment have a Hawaiian esthetic and energy. That being said it had all the modern comfort and conveniences necessary to enjoy a great Big Island vacation. Facilities were great with tennis, beach and pool all close by. Kona weather was amazing. Of particular note, was the spacious lanai where we would watch the sunrise and the birds come to life. Thanks for such a great place. We miss it already.

This was one of the most beautiful, well-stocked rentals we’ve stayed in. The condo is lovely with beautiful art in every room. The condo has everything you need to enjoy your stay from beach chairs, towels, etc. the balcony has a more expansive view than I expected based on the pictures. We enjoyed meals out there and just taking it all in. Short walk to the Magic Sands beach and super convenient to both Kona and Keauhou.

This property was everything one could want or imagine in a condo stay. We had absolutely everything we could possibly have needed. It was definitely a home away from home for us!
The pictures and descriptions are spot on and frankly it’s even nicer then you can imagine. Lots of room, comfy beds, beautiful Lanai, excellent swimming pool on site and the beach is just across the street.
This was our first time visiting the Big Island, hoping it won’t be our last and we’d definitely stay here again!

Loved everything about this condo. Perfect Kona location just a short drive from the shops and restaurants of Kailua Village. In fact, the biggest draw may be its location literally across the street from Magic Sands Beach Park, where were able to walk down to the beach every day for our morning swim. The condo itself is beautifully furnished in Hawaiian style, everything is clean and modern, and the kitchen is well stocked (complete with a few Kona Brewing bottles waiting for us in the fridge which I really appreciated after our trip!) There is a dining table on the lanai where you can look out at the ocean while you enjoy your meal, plus a comfortable living room area with plenty of space to spread out. We especially liked the big-screen Roku-enabled TV so we could log in to streaming services but also watch local channels. And of course WiFi is available. The friendly owners are attentive to every detail and were ready to respond immediately to concerns, although I have to say we didn't have any — everything was so thoughtfully arranged for already. Check-in was a breeze and parking our rental car was effortless. Thanks again Ali‘i Wahines! We are definitely looking forward to staying here on our next visit to the Big Island.

Spent three nights in this property and enjoyed it, as it is across the street from one of the cutest beaches in Kona, Magic Sand Beach. The condo is medium size, but big enough to accomodate a family of 5 or 6. We loved the huge balcony with ocean view. This place is well stocked with everything, including comfy beach chairs and beach towels.

The condo was lovely with much better views than the photos represented. The kitchen was one of the best stocked of any I’ve ever rented. We found the coffee pot wasn’t working and the property manager replaced it and added a coffee grinder within a few hours. I would definitely recommend it!

This condo is just as the pictures show. It is well maintained, clean, spacious, and has everything needed for a relaxing vacation as well as a home away from home. The condo was well stocked and had every knife, pan, appliance and utensil we ever needed. (We eat breakfast in, pack a picnic for the beach, and grill local fish each night back at the condo.) The owner is generous, kind and gracious. This was our second time staying here and we will be back next year.

Our month-long vacation was fantastic! We had a marvelous time while there and found this condo to be the perfect place to make our “home away from home”. Our vacation rental experience started out marvelous and continued to be that way for the entire month we were there – we arrived to find a gorgeous tropical flower arrangement waiting for us and a gracious note welcoming us to the condo! The tropical flowers were a beautiful way to help us feel the unique beauty of the island while welcoming us to our rented vacation home. There’s just something about having fresh flowers that makes a place feel romantic and inviting!
The condo had a great open floor plan that made it feel very spacious; the décor was very well done with tasteful decorating that also provided us with the feel of the tropics. The numerous amenities provided were greatly appreciated too. It was wonderful to find so much available to us. We could tell right away that the owners of this condo put a lot of thought into what someone would want and/or need to make their Hawaiian trip enjoyable. There wasn’t one amenity we had to go buy in order to enjoy our island experience. I don’t think we’ve ever rented a place that had as many amenities for us to use.
The actual condo is perfectly situated within the White Sands Village complex. Its top floor location was quiet and we feel that its location provided the best ocean views of any condo within the complex. The complex itself is well kept up and provides a great pool and barbeque and recreational area that is available for everyone’s use.
The great location of White Sands Village (and the condo) allowed us to easily see and do things on the island while also providing us a comfortable place to call "home". We were literally minutes away from ocean activities or just about anything you wanted to see or do in the towns of Kailua Kona or Keahou. Our location also made it easy to access any roads leading to any of the other island activities located in other towns on the island.

Not only was the condo to our liking, its owners were wonderful to work with. The whole “rental experience” was a non-event, which is exactly what you hope for when renting any type of rental property. All in all we had a wonderful time and we’re excited to go back and do it again. In fact, we enjoyed ourselves so much that we’ve already booked another month-long vacation with them for the same time next year. Just thinking about it makes us excited and full of anticipation to go back to “The Island” where we can have more fun and sun adventures! We highly recommend this vacation rental property to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. We also want to extend our gratitude and warm regards to the owners, “The Alii Wahines” for their generosity and willingness to help make our Hawaiian vacation a memorial one. My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this Condo. Having a nice beach right across the street was very nice and bicycling along Alii Drive is also very doable from this location. Being located in the middle of Alii Drive makes it easy to go North or South depending on what you feel like doing on any particular day.
The kitchen and living room were well furnished and the main bedroom was very comfortable. There was good hot water in the showers (some condos elsewhere on the island suffer in this respect).
There was plenty of sun during our stay, and the living room has nice sliding glass doors that lead out onto the lanai. That made it very bright in the living room area during the day. But that's not really a drawback for most people!
We were also happy with our interactions with the condo owners; they were very pleasant and responsive. Overall we were very pleased with our stay.

My first visit to Kona was made more outstanding by the stay in the lovely condo.Everything was beyond what I had ever dreamed of. The morning walks along the beachroad were the best ever!The roar of the sea & the surf were music to my ears...Not to mention the big sea turtles, fish & the eels.The lovely azure blue water, all the beautiful flowers & trees made a lovely picture. I shall treasur this always & hope I will be able to visit again.Thanks so much, Peggy Myrick

We have just returned from a one week stay at this condo. It is beautiful. The unit's living room and kitchen area are open and spacious. The lania off the living area is well furnished with tables and chairs for meals and a lounge chair and sitting chairs/tables for sitting outside. There is a view of the ocean and the sunsets are great.
As the unit is located in the back building there is none of the noise from Alli Dr and White Sands beach.
The kitchen is fully stocked, new appliances, every cooking dish you could possibly want and a full set of spices and herbs. The bedrooms are spacious with good closets and dressers for those who wish to settle in. The boogie boarding across the street at White Sands beach was great fun - we rented boogie boards for the week from the shop in the Bali Kona Kai just 1 mile north. The snorkelling at Kahalu'u [less than one mile south]was amazing. Our daughter practised her new surfing skills on the small breaks here as well. The surf shop across the street has boards to rent and an instructor in the water to help all beginners - those taking lessons and those who are just out to pracitse.
A cooler, beach chairs, tennis racquets and snorkel gear are all in the unit.
The grounds, pool, spa and tennis courts are very well maintained and clean. Barbeques are new and located just beside the pool with tables and washing facilities.
The complex is well located in the middle of Alli Drive.
Overall a wonderful place to stay. We would return.
