We enjoyed staying at this condo for 7 days. The Palms at Wailea has become our choice for our Maui vacations as it is a five minute drive to the beach, quiet and centrally located in Wailea. This condo is well appointed, nicely updated and very comfortable. As others mentioned without central air in the main living area, it can be warm into the early evenings, even with the fans and the cross breezes from the open windows. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, which we appreciated as dining out is more expensive than ever, so we cooked in several nights of our stay.

We enjoyed our 6 night stay at #1503 Palms at Wailea. The location was super convenient to explore the amazing local beaches all within a 4-5 minute drive. The condo itself is looks exactly like the photos on the listing and really well appointed. We have 2 kids under 7, so we spent every day at the pool which was nice and close. I would highly recommend this for families with young kids!

We didn’t really need it in the living space but it would be nicer if the living space had AC as well. Fans provided stayed in in the living space. Downstairs location stays cooler naturally than upstairs locations.

We loved everything about this condo. Perfect for my family of 4. The pool was just outside and steps away from the lanai. It was so relaxing to sit out there in the warm evenings. The complex was quiet and peaceful. The beach chairs and towels were great to have. The parking spot was just outside the front door. It definitely felt like home away from home. The pictures are exactly what it looks like in person. I can’t wait to rent this unit again.

Absolutely loved our stay here. We could just hang out on the lanai while the kids ran around in the grass at sunset. Comfortable beds, couches and the unit had everything we needed, including boogie boards. We will be back!

This was such a beautiful condo loctaion with sunny lanai in the morning and beautiful sunsets at night. All the amenities and comforts we needed. Easy parking outside near the front door. Spacious enough for my husband, myself and our 30 year old daughter there for a four day destination wedding event. Loved the master bathroom size and large kitchen (thou we did not eat a meal there, just breakfasts). The light in this lovely condo was my absolute favorite thing, the many windows. Wish we were still there, #1503!!!! My compliments and thanks to the owner of that unit. The grounds and pool looked lovely too, but we never used the pool due to the demands of the 4 day wedding events. Thanks also, to Toni and Abigail at Rentals Maui who were always so pleasant to speak with, and Abigail even came up to the condo to assist with cable tv issues. This will be where we stay on our next visit to Wailea, Maui for sure.

Our favorite thing about this unit was the outdoor lanai to enjoy our morning coffee with a view. The management company was very professional and informative. One thing to be aware of is there is not alot of privacy in the master bedroom as the shower is open with glass wall and no door so if you are staying there as a group of friends you might find that awkward. The place was spotless and although we didn't use it, the pool is just a short walk from the outdoor lanai.

I believe it’s important to provide a balanced review so here it goes:
Pros: Great location, especially for families. The kids loved running on the grass outside the lanai while the adults enjoyed a cocktail at sunset.
Cons: wanted to love this unit but truthfully it really needs some TLC.
When we checked in there were dirty cleaning clothes sitting on the counter. We told the “inspector and she said. Oh sorry about that ?
The kitchen was bug infested. We called the management company to complain and they were responsive and came and sprayed but there was old food left in the cupboards that was not cleaned out and it was evident that there hadn’t been a “deep clean” done in some time. Our kids did a full day cleaning just to try and get rid of the infestation. Not how you want to spend your holiday.
The sliding doors in the master bedroom were broken and didn’t open.
The vaccum didn’t work. Again, we advised the agency. They responded that there djould be a working broom and dustpan. To which we replied, okay but if you want the unit to stay clean perhaps you could advise the home owners that they need to invest in a new vacuum. They subsequently sent one over,
Other than that, it’s a perfectly located unit but for the nightly rate, pretty disappointing.

This was our second time staying at 1503 Palms Wailea....and it didn't disappoint!! The condo is so clean, the location is perfect, and it's well stocked with all the supplies for cooking, grilling, and lounging. Also, they have plenty of beach gear, including umbrella, chairs, and boogey boards, so no need to rent! My favorite space....the lanai! The best space to enjoy your morning coffee to watch the boats go out to Molikini crater, read, or just sit and enjoy nature and the singing birds, and also the best space to watch the most beautiful, perfect Maui sunset! I prefer to stay in Wailea for the weather and it's proximity to all the things my family loves to do and eat when visiting Maui. Moneypod, best Mai Tai EVER, just a 3 minute drive from the condo. There are many many great beach options within walking distance or a short drive. I just love Maui so much and this condo is so absolutely perfect! I wish it were mine to stay forever! We will always come back to 1503 Palms Wailea!

Our family of four LOVED this immaculate condo. The modern kitchen was well outfit with cooking supplies. We spent a lot of time on the lanai which had ample comfy seating and views of the gorgeous grounds full of tropical flowers and the ocean beyond. Beds were comfy. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We made good use of the beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella and beach towels. We drove to the beach early (Wailea Beach Park and others) and didn't have a problem finding parking. We loved it and would stay here again. Also, the location of the condo complex is perfect - close to restaurants, shops, beaches and a short drive to all the commercial offerings in Kihei where we took surfing lessons, found yummy food trucks and went grocery shopping.

We are just returning from two weeks at this fantastic condo at the Palms. It was very well stocked and everything has been nicely maintained. The views from the lanai are lovely and our children loved being able to run around on the grass beside this condo. We hope to go back again!

Everything was absolutely perfect. The furnishings where well appointed and quite comfortable. Great view, short walk to the pool, close to several beaches and kitchen was well equipped with wry nice appliances and lots of utensils and dishes. We did not have to call management for 1 thing. For staying in the Wailea area I cannot imagine a nicer place for up to 4 people.

Couldn’t have been much better for us - well kept condo with all the amenities you’d need - up to date kitchen has cookware, utensils, and even spices; unit has washer / dryer so you don’t have to pack as much. Incredible views from the lanai, which has nice wicker furniture. Close to the pool and the lovely stream which runs through the grounds. Location is easy to get to with a bunch of good restaurants and shopping nearby. Multiple beautiful beaches within a 5 minute drive. Absolutely no regrets about choosing 1503 at The Palms.

The property was very nice, clean and quiet. We were surprised that you could not access the beach from the location from the map and other reviews it appeared to be on the ocean side but its not. Once we got past that and figured things out we were fine with it. We loved the patio and the view and it's super close to the pool. The second bedroom is tiny we had two teenagers in it and they couldn't move around but they only slept in there. There is AC in the bedrooms but not the main living area. The kitchen had everything you could need and more. We enjoyed the trip we would stay again.

Overall we were not impressed. We left a lengthy list with the property manager on the review card when we left the property, listing out the biggest issues, from dirty floors to an ant infestation and Knick knacks dotting every surface. For the neighborhood and dollar value, this place isn’t set up well as a rentable space. There were 3 home phones that rung at various hours of our trip. They had 20 yr old clocks plugged in that didn’t work. There were 5+ owners closets and cabinets , which included a big part of the kitchen. No pantry space. And only 3 dish washing tablets for a 5 day stay which isn’t enough with a full family staying. There were so many Knick knacks and family photos on every surface it was dizzying. I have high expectations when I go to a rented space that’s marketed as a luxury space in a luxury resort community, and they didn’t meet expectations. I would expect this for a couple hundred a night, but we paid up way more than that for this space and it felt like a grandmothers house.
Would NOT rebook.

We rented unit #1503 with two of our friends and spent 5 nights. The condo was located close to the pool which was nice. It was nicely decorated, clean and the kitchen had everything you would need. Both bedrooms had air conditioning, the living area only had a couple of fans, which is the only negative about this unit. We didn't spend much time inside because it was warm. The outdoor area was very nice with a BBQ, table and chairs and couches. We spent a lot of time sitting out there. The sunsets from this location were beautiful! There were two beaches within walking distance (or a short drive, but limited parking) and a very nice beach front walk that ran the length of the big hotels. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay in this condo again.

We stayed at this property in October and really loved it. Location was excellent, walking distance to beaches and about 2 miles to the shops at Wailea, with small grocery store. The condo itself was very nice, super clean and in a great location on the property, lower level over looking the central green area and pool. Kitchen and bathrooms looked to be recently remodeled and had everything we needed. Beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, pool towels etc. Kitchen was fully equipped. What I really appreciate was how clean it was when we arrived. Check super easy as we were emailed a code for the door. This was out first time staying in Wailea, we usually stay in Kapalua. We will definitely be back to this condo!

The property was great!. Assigned Parking right in front of 1st floor condo which helps with carrying bags. Perfect size 2bd/2bth. Park like setting off the Lani. The Lani was my favorite part of the property. The views, the furniture excellent. BBQ too. Close to pool. Kitchen had pretty much all dishes needed. Walk to beach. 4 minute drive to shops and restaurants. 5 minutes from Grand Wailea Hotel restaurant for dinner. Even met other renters in next Condo from where I grew up, everyone in community was friendly. Landscaping was manicured. Area was beautiful without the big hotel prices right next door. Only item I would recommend is new washer/dryer... I would rent again for sure...

We enjoyed our stay at the Palms, family of four with a six and nine year old. The property is very nice, quiet. The location of 1503 is perfect, close proximity across the lawn to the pool and the lanai is at such an angle you can enjoy the view but still have shade in the evening. The furniture throughout including the bed were comfortable, nice linens and towels throughout. Kitchen had everything we needed, and grill was great to use. A/C in the bedrooms cooled them off quickly. Would definitely visit again!

After canceling twice due to covid we finally got to Maui. This place was just as pictured and the outdoor space was amazing. Dinners outside, books read all while looking at the ocean. And the sunsets were amazing. The condo was very clean and spacious and was very impressed with how stocked the kitchen was. Anything you could possibly need was there. Close to shops in Wailea and easy walk to the beach. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The condo exceeded expectations. The lanai is well furnished and well positioned to enjoy a morning coffee or a drink at sunset. Each of the bedrooms are nicely furnished with plenty of closet space and comfy pillows. There were a few ants on the kitchen counter, but it is the tropics and they weren’t too much of a problem. Great location in Wailea and one of the best spots within this compound! Very clean and modern, from bedrooms, baths and kitchen. Guaranteed you'll be on the huge lanai every morning with your coffee relaxing and enjoying the amazing views! The Maui sunsets are amazing and a must! When you're ready to head to the beach you don't need to get rental gear because they supply beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and even a little cooler. And on the the days you don't want to eat out , that's fine... You can enjoy some home cooking in Hawaiian ambience with the open kitchen and outdoor barbeque grill. Paradise is feeling like you're at home and on vacation at the same time. Mahalo for an amazing time here! We will definitely be coming back to 1503!

This property is exactly what you imagine when looking at the pictures. Only a block from the quietest golden sand beach. Neighbours are friendly and it’s pretty quiet*. There are 2 small stores only 5 minutes walk away and another bigger one 5 minutes drive. We loved the fact we were away from all the tourists and in amongst the locals. The beds are comfy and the aircon keeps you cool if you want to use it. This was the relaxing break we needed.
*my only note is the property backs directly onto social/state housing and we had loud music and foul language every night (bar one) from the immediate person behind the property. On weekdays they did go in at 9pm however Friday/Saturday it was 11-1 in the morning. We just blanked it out and put it down to them enjoying their evenings however this maybe an issue for some people

condo 1503 is amazing!!! from the amazing view to the layout of the suite, to the patio doors that open all the way to make this an open air suite, and lets not forget the view. This was the perfect location and condo for our family. We will most definitely stay here again. The only negatives that I have to say is that the floors felt quickly cleaned as I inspect and there was hair still in the nooks and crannies, and I always make sure to check the bedding before getting in and in the spare room there was still hair on the pillows and sheets, so having to do laundry at midnight was not something I enjoyed having to do.

Unfortunately second bedroom lacks drawer and closet space. Not fun for two elderly ladies to live out of a suitcase for 14 days. Kitchen lacks a pantry to store food from shopping at Costco. Bothersome kitchen ants too and only one ant trap.

We loved our stay at this beautiful condo. The location of the unit in the complex is ideal for watching the amazing sunsets and it's also close to the pool. The master bedroom has an ocean view from the bed which was a wonderful way to wake up. The unit has lots of windows and screen doors that open and let the breezes in. However, my only complaint is that the second bedroom only had two small windows that open and we happened to be in Maui for a hot week (in the 90s), so my daughter was uncomfortably hot. We had two fans blowing in that room but it was still very hot. There's an air conditioning unit in the master and I wish there was one in the second bedroom. If there was, we would definitely stay here every year. Other than that, this condo was perfect. Kitchen had a few ants, but we bought some ant bait the first day and never saw them again. Kitchen is well stocked and has great windows that open to the outdoor lanai. You won't be disappointed staying here! Highly recommend it!

We stayed at this unit in October. The unit was in great shape, the lanai was exceptional-barbeque each night, dinner on the lanai, plus late afternoon reading. The unit was very well equipped. We highly recommend this unit to anyone seeking a clean/updated and well located unit at the Palms at Wailea.

Palms #1503 lived up to our expectation. Was well stocked with everything we needed. View from the lanai was amazing and lanai furniture was very comfortable. A short walk up to the pool and plenty of green space for the kids to run around.

Lovely updated unit, very comfortable for 2. We especially enjoyed the outdoor living, the furniture on the lanai was outstanding. Don't think this would work for 2 couples as one room is small, not airconditioned and has no view. A bit of an ant problem too, even though management gave us ant traps, they show up on kitchen counters.

Second time in Wailea area, first time stay at this condo. Needless to say it was SPECTACULAR! Beautifully updated unit with everything anyone could need. The view, the comfort, everything about it was absolutely perfect. Perfect enough we're considering purchasing in the complex! I would STRONGLY recommend this location to anyone coming to experience my "happy place on earth". Only thing that should be mentioned is, if you have children, there are some strict rules regarding them and this area is more for an adult setting than it is playing children. Either way! Perfect location, perfect stay, perfect island.... MAUI NO KA OI!!!!

We have been staying at Palms of Wailea is various units for 8 summers and I think unit #1503 is the best. The location is great because of the views and it being on the ground floor. In addition, the unit has been fully remodeled and decorated very tastefully. I am hoping the unit is available for us to rent next summer.

The Lani was great with a wonderful view of the ocean. We were close to dining and ocean activities. The condo was clean and nicely decorated. The only complaint is that the air conditioning unit is in the master bedroom only. The owners had a locked area in the kitchen which we were sure contained some food as we discovered mouse droppings around the locked area daily (which we promptly vacuumed 2-3 time per day. Otherwise it was a great place! Only one pool (lot's of noisy children). No adult pool,
