We had a wonderful time at this beautiful condo. We loved the view from both the main bedroom and the lanai with stunning sunsets.
The location and amenities were fantastic with more than enough space for our family (two adults and two teens).
The kitchen was very well setup with all that we needed to cook meals on nights that we didn’t walk to Whalers village for dinner.
We also very much appreciated all of the beach gear that was provided including beach chairs and snorkeling gear, which made it easy to spend time exploring Black Rock.
This condo provided all that we needed to have an amazing holiday.
We will never forget our stay and the memories we created!
We highly recommend staying at this property.

Beautifully updated condo. Accommodated an adult family of 4 perfectly. The location of the condo is convenient to beaches, restaurants and shopping. There were lots of wonderful conveniences, such as beach chairs, beach towels, coolers and a well stocked, newly renovated kitchen anyone would be happy to cook in. The hosts, Curtis and Martine, were responsive to any request. Would highly recommend and stay here again with a return trip.

Nothing but good things to say about this beautiful condo. I think my favorite part was waking up each morning with a gorgeous view of the ocean. I loved the beach feel throughout the house. This was our family’s first visit to Maui, and Curtis and Martine’s condo was a perfect fit! The condo is equipped with everything you could want or need and everything is high quality as well. The condo was immaculate! We were some of the first guests to enjoy the stunning renovation. The location was wonderful and we strolled to the closest beach and drove to two others nearby. We picked up dinner many nights and ate on the lanai. My kids loved the pool and the body boards. My husband and I loved the comfortable beds, the luxurious linens, and the extremely efficient A/C. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Martine provided excellent arrival instructions and a very easy checkout list! She was very responsive too. Hoping to visit again someday!

We had a wonderful time. Condo was all the pictures showed it was. Very comfy. The only issue was not enough TP or paper towels. There was a glass broken in the cabinet, so we left it out & put note on it. Also, we could not find any Buggie boards.

Wonderful condo with an excellent view from the lanai. Although my sense is that the property is older, the owners have done a very good job with maintenance and updating. Our family of four was very happy and comfortable here. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen is extremely well-equipped too. Highly recommend!

Our first leg in Hawaii, and our family of 5 enjoyed this place. Spacious enough for everyone to have a spot. The Lanai was where we spent most of our time and it was big! Ocean view in the distance.
Kitchen was well stocked and almost everything you need. Also beach gear was present!
Walking distance to Whaler’s Village and a small coffee shop made this a good location safe and welcoming.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Although not on the beach, the views are amazing and you can definitely walk down. We drove and parked in one of the many free beach parking spots. Everything we needed was there and the check in process was wonderful. Would highly recommend.

This condo at the Kaanapali Royal is just perfect. It has 2 large bedrooms with King beds and en-suite bathrooms. The place is tastefully decorated and fully equipped. It has a modern kitchen and everything you need to prepare great meals. There is a huge balcony, with a gas grill. It overlooks the pool and has a great view of the ocean, & the islands of Lanai and Molokai. It also overlooks the golf course. We come to this area every winter and would highly recommend this condo to others.

Martine and Curtis were very quick to respond from the time of our original booking to our check out. The place came exactly as advertised and came very well stocked for cooking, the beach, and everything else that may have been overlooked by us. The view is excellent, and it is much quieter and has less traffic than previous trips to Maui when we stayed on the beach. Checking in and out was seemless, and I highly recommend the property. We absolutely loved this condo! It was very clean, well stocked and had beautiful views. We’re a family of 5 (3 teens ) that have travelled to Maui many times. As a group of 5, it’s very hard to find a unit that has enough beds for everyone and gives us that space. We were so happy to have found that! We’ve stayed in many beautiful vrbo’s but Martine and Curtis’s home is by far the nicest one. My husband and I said daily how much we loved it. The complex is quiet and not over crowded. It’s a beautiful walk to the beach or easy jump on the trolly. The lanai is huge and very private and the sunsets are incredible! Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home. We hope to return again soon.

This details for guests in this condo were very thought out. We rented two units. This one which is owner managed and another one which is managed by a large management company were night & day. This condo was very clean and provided everything we needed and more. I would recommend this unit over all others we have stayed in previously. The hosts had great communication when we had a question and the location was fantastic. A very short walk to Whalers Village and the golf course. Thank you for hosting us !!

This property was spotless, and well equipped with everything you might need. There were even boogie boards. Kitchen and bathrooms had everything you might possibly require. The actual condo looked even better than the photos. The lanai was large and offered a view of beautiful gardens and the ocean in the distance. It was about a 15-20 minute walk to the beach, but you could also drive. Maybe we're just slow walkers. The condo was close to a main road, so it was easy to get places. We were sad to go. It was such a lovely place.

Our stay was wonderful for a group of 4. The place is just as described and had all the amenities we need for our stay. There were also beach chairs and towels for us to use, which made our trips to the beach so much better. The unit was also in a very good location, we were close by drive to everything. Great condo with nice additional things like drinks, coffee, toiletries etc that kept us from having to make an immediate trip to the store after the long flight. We did reach out to the owners regarding an issue which they replied fairly quick. The beds were super comfy and the additional fans in the closets were nice to use. We did a lot of Jeep driving and it needed washed so it was nice to have a spot to do that right outside the condo and spray off sand before entering. It is also close to Black Rock, coffee shop, snorkel rental, pizza place and tiny grocery which I felt super comfortable with my kids going on their own over to it (12&17yr olds). Maui is simply gorgeous and this condo was nice to retreat to after a day of hiking, climbing, shopping, and jumping waves. We hope to come back during whale season!!

Our family has been fortunate enough to travel to various islands in Hawaii (Maui a few times). This condo was the best property rental we've stayed in so far. The kitchen was stocked with everything and anything we needed (and then some)! There were enough chairs and umbrellas for our party of 5, the location is super close to shopping, walking / running paths, walk to beaches (or if you want something a little more local a very short drive and you can be at a number of beautiful beaches), tons of restaurants etc; Whalers Village is right down the hill. There is some really good snorkeling right off the beach, surf lessons, parasailing, jet skis, on and on and on. The one downside to Whalers Village is it is very touristy and can be crowded.
The condo has an excellent lanai with a BBQ - we hit a local fish market and had an great sunset fish dinner. The views are amazing. Daily breakfast on the lanai is a must.
One of the main selling points for us was the layout. We had 5 people in our party. The upstairs master was huge and awesome. The second bedroom downstairs has a little nook off to the side, the prefect size for a twin bed and table where our teen slept. She and her brother (and brother's girlfriend) spent the week laughing and bonding (after a year away at college).
Absolutely 10/10 would recommend and would stay here again!

Property has everything you need to enjoy your long-term stay. Pots, pans, full sized kitchen, air conditioning, dishes, dishwasher, beach towels, beach chairs, body boards, coolers, washer, dryer, place to rinse off your gear (outside), pool, jacuzzi, coffee machines (Keurig and traditional), BBQ grill, etc. The property is semi-ocean front; you will not be directly on the water, but the tradeoff is you will get a quieter area, better parking, access to more affordable spots, and you will still get great views. The property is clean, well laid out, nicely decorated, and updated. The main floor has the bedroom with one queen and one twin bed, full bathroom, kitchen, living area, washer/dryer, and good-sized lanai with plenty of seating, great views, and a gas BBQ grill. The upstairs has the main bedroom with a king-sized bed, full bathroom, and big window with great views. A five-minute walk gets you to a coffee shop, general store, pizza spot, and shaved ice/gear rental store. Grocery store is about a 3-mile drive and Front Street (popular place with lots of shops and restaurants) is not much further down. A beautiful beach and decent size shopping area was about a 10 to 15 walk depending on your speed. You can drive down but might pay for parking as free spots are limited. This was our first time using VRBO but would use again if every experience was this great. Only recommendation I have is maybe updating the mattresses. All three beds had a dip in the middle, likely related to long term use, that caused all of us some back discomfort periodically. Not a deal breaker but something to consider. Overall, I would highly recommend.

This was an extra special “Sisters’ Trip”. Since we lost our mom a couple of years ago, the 3 of us meet somewhere quarterly to keep our sibling bonds strong. One of us is fighting a terrible battle with cancer so we wanted to make this trip extra special by checking off one thing on her bucket list. I found this place on VRBO and it was even better than the description. I use VRBO quite often and normally have to supply the essentials which usually becomes a very expensive trip to the grocery store. This unit had everything; ie all types of paper goods, salt, shampoo, mustard, etc. They even had beach chairs and beach towels, with detergent to wash them! All we had to supply was the actual food we wanted to eat. The view was breathtaking and the temp inside the unit was perfect. Thank you for helping us make some wonderfully special memories.

This was our first time staying on the Kaanapali side, and this condo was a good choice for it. The hotels and condos across the street are double the cost or much more and that’s often without a kitchen or extra bedrooms plus their pools are mobbed. It’s a slight walk to the beach but easy enough and there’s a shuttle that goes from the Fairway shops next door. We enjoyed being so close to Blackrock beach for snorkeling- Kaanapali really is a spectacular beach. I’m not a huge fan of the crowds or the restaurants on this side but we liked BBQing at the condo and getting poke from Foodland Farms in Lahaina for lunch. The kitchen was very well equipped and the view from the patio is great since it’s on the top floor. This condo works well if you have kids because the second bedroom has a king and a twin that’s in a small nook off to the side, as you can see in the photo. The parking is a little tight at the condo but we managed to get a spot each time. Overall a great trip.

the unit was really nice. It would have been nicer if there was a wagon available to tote and carry all the towels chairs and toys to the beach could not walk because of all the beach stuff to carry had to drive and park. unit was clean and we were able to access it two hours earlier.

We did so much during our visit that when we retreated to the condo it was so peaceful and just what we needed for relaxing and chill time. The property was afe, clean and convenient. The condo itself was fully stocked with everything you could need...detailed guest book with suggestions for the area, beach chairs, beach towels, beach toys for the kiddos. This was our 2nd time at this condo. Both times have been great. We came here with two friends for sunshine and good times. Condo has always had what we needed, with plenty of extra propane tanks for grilling great food! There are always lots of kitchen pantry basics+ for food prep, like salt, flour, sugar, foil, plastic wrap, etc... I know that we always leave extras, and it seems that it is what most guests do.
We had to deal with some chain saw noise, as they were doing some trimming of the Plumeria's, but that just increased our view of the pool, so that was a plus. Will be more than happy to stay here again.
The one negative is that VRBO has not updated the parking costs at the condo. Our first few times here (We have also stayed at other units), it was a flat $75 for our stay. Two years ago, we found out it went to $80. This time, it went to $20 per day, to max at 7 days. Not a deal breaker, but it is something that should be known before booking. Hawaii is expensive enough.

We were very pleased with the condo! There was plenty of room for our family of four including two teenage boys. The views were amazing. We enjoyed spending time at the pool, grilling and relaxing on the lanai, and walking to the beach and shops. We were impressed with the assortment kitchen/houseware supplies. This was a great property that was very well equipment with anything you might need from wanting to do some serious cooking at home to coolers, beach chairs and boogie boards to take the beach. On days when you just want to relax, the overall community is very nice and well maintained and the condo has plenty of room to relax and give everyone their space. The owners were very responsive and easy to work with - Thanks for the wonderful memories!
