We have stayed at
Ekahi Village before and we love it. But this was our first time staying in 23-D and we loved this unit.
You can walk to the pool or the beach. You can walk a few steps and see a beautiful sunset. The unit is fully equipped with everything you need. The owner is great and communicates with you before your stay and also during your stay to make sure everything is perfect.I highly recommend this unit..

We have stayed at Ekahi two other times and this was the closest we’ve been to the Beach/ main pool. Which is why we chose this particular property. We love to swim in the ocean and lay by the pool. My husband is an avid BBQer and likes talking to others around the BBQs.
A couple things to note, this property is a little dated and the lanai has a nice view when you are standing, the bougainvillea needs to be trimmed because it has a lot of dead branches that are blocking the ocean view. I wished that the patio furniture was more comfortable. The bed was very comfy and shower was nice size. The toilet could be updated as well.
The kitchen is adequately equipped but the utensils that you use for cooking are of lower quality.
The AC in the bedroom is very noisy.
But all in all we enjoyed our time At Ekahi and will return because of the location and how well the property is maintained and friendly staff.

This unit is equipped with high quality, and all you need supplies! Bob from day one responded right away and took care of all our needs! We could not have asked for a better vacation!! When you open all the windows, you don’t need to use air conditioning, we use the air only on the first afternoon we arrived. We woke up to the sound of birds and smell the ocean air. This was basically the perfect Hawaiian vacation. The location is great for snorkelling, laying on the beach, hanging out at the pool, or just chilling in the condo. Or, maybe doing all of those things on the same day.
If you need to leave, the location is easy to navigate to and from.
The unit was extremely well stocked and there was nothing we lacked.
We are looking forward to when we may be able to stay here again in the future

Beautiful second story condo unit in well-appointed complex. The condo is tastefully furnished with higher quality furniture. We especially loved the lanai and after a day of activities, lounging in one of the 3 nearby pools. The main pool complex was amazing with a large kitchen and covered dining area. The lawn surrounding the pool overlooks a sparsely populated beach. Definitely will return! Only drawback was carrying large suitcases up the stairs, but it was worth it!

Enjoyed the amenities of the Ekahi Village community: pools, shuffleboard, pickleball, gorgeous grounds, etc. And our unit was perfectly situated to be close to the beach and Pavilion, a nicely stocked kitchen with cooking supplies, great beach chairs, towels, umbrella. And handy washer/dryer too. South facing views and sunsets were lovely. Had a lovely week and getaway.

To start, the location is both beautiful (the grounds!!) and functional (a good jumping off point for beaches north and south). The condo itself was exactly as pictured / advertised and very well-stocked with essentials like kitchen utensils, extra towels, and ways to store leftovers. Plus, an ice maker in the freezer!
The king-sized bed was super comfortable (wanted to take it home!) and my friend slept on the pull-out couch, which she said was comfortable also. Since we both have finicky backs, we were thrilled.
Communication was fast, easy, and friendly -- it was all simply wonderful. Can't wait to be back next year!

We would definitely consider staying in this condo again. It has a great spot in the Ekahi Village complex. Close and direct walk to the beach, pools, and pickleball court. If the lanai faced the ocean directly, instead of from the side, I would have said perfect.

We did have some issues with the property. The main pool which is heated and recommends it’s use for children with specific rules that no one enforces. Every time we used it we left due to children throwing balls, playing with pool noodles and other floatable and yelling Marco Polo. Plus people had their dogs at the pool. Someone from management needs to police at least every couple of hours or else why have rules?

Everything was as described and then some. The condo is very well equipped with more amenities than we expected - every type of cooking utensil needed, beach accessories, and even a set of pickleball paddles for the nearby court.
The king bed was super comfortable.
All that aside, what we loved the most was the proximity to the beach and watching sunsets from the lanai.

We enjoyed the condo, pool and beach very much. Nice quiet area and beautiful. The only suggestion we would make is that the lighting in the living area was very dark and made it very difficult to read after dark. The lamps are loose around where the light bulb attaches to the lamp base and could become problematic. All in all a great place.

We were sorry to miss the last two years at this Ekahi unit because of the pandemic, but we were determined to stay here this year. Ten days is too short. There were some nice changes, but nothing drastic. This location is great for us. We come with loaded Kindles, shorts, bathing suits and snorkel gear. We want to swim, read and relax. Since we know the unit, Ekahi, and the surrounding area, we can do just that.

We so enjoyed our stay at Ekahi 23D. The condo had everything we needed and more such as beach chairs and umbrellas which came in very handy. It was a 4 minute walk straight to the beach and we enjoyed our morning walks on the board walk where we could see all the other resorts like the grand wailea. We were so comfortable there and there was an ocean view from the deck. The host was very communicative and fixed an issue in the unit as quickly as possible. We would love to visit again soon.

We have stayed at lots of condos in the Kihe and Wailea area and all were really nice. This one was the best of the lot! Perfect location on a quiet street just before the main Wailea drag. The unit was stocked and big for a one bedroom. The AC was great. The pool was close and right on the beach practically! The host was prompt and immediate with communication. I would stay here again for sure. I cannot reccomend it enough! Perfect place, great price, great location, and worth every penny.

We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the unit was fairly well supplied. Some new dishes and serving pieces would be nice. We were very disappointed that barbecues are no longer allowed. We have always enjoyed having our own at the unit as we do not eat out and now we had to go down to the pavilion which was a bother. There needs to be more barbecue centres as the resort (Ekahi Village) is so large. We had a very pleasant stay and would stay at the resort again.

The condo was very pleasant and accurately presented in narrative description and pictures. We prepared and enjoyed many meals on the lenai with sunset and ocean views. The location is a 2 minute walk to the new beach pavilion/main pool, with beach access directly from the pavilion area. The pavilion was recently completed, with spacious covered seating, tiled floor, kitchen facilities, beach showers, and restrooms. Two additional quiet swimming pools are even closer than the main pool and are truly quiet, as advertised. Air conditioning in the condo kept the unit comfortable. This is important in Hawaii--if the prevailing east/northeast trade winds are interrupted, a/c is necessary to stay comfortable. Bob was most helpful with instructions for entry and maps. We arrived after dark and his advice lead us directly there with no problems. We had a very nice vacation.

This is a great property for 2 people to stay on Maui with all the amenities a couple could need for a beach vacation (beach chairs, umbrellas, a cooler). The property is very close to the beach and pool and it is equipped with everything someone would need to cook their meals and eat in. It is also within walking distance to local restaurants and shopping at the Shops of Wailea. Walk down to the beach and catch the sunset each night.

We had the best vacation of our lives at 23D Ekahi. We have travelled a lot to Hawaii but this was the best. Mornings begin with beautiful birdsong and a gorgeous view from the deck. The grounds are impeccably cares for, as is the unit. Pools are very close and the beach very accessible, esp for a person using a cane. We cooked all our meals at the condo had several snorkeling adventures. The condo was very clean and all appliances in working order. Btw, not important but they had the best shower we’ve ever used on vacation🥰 The owner was exceptionally responsive…another bonus.

We had a fantastic time at Ekahi 23d. Just so you’re aware — this unit is literally 1 minute away from the main pool which is also 30 seconds away from what we’ve found is the best beach in Maui — never crowded, and respectful guests. The unit has everything you need and has ample space to sprawl. This is our 6th Hawaii trip (2nd to Maui), and by far this is the best value / location / amenities option we’ve come across so far. The unit was very clean when we entered and we were able to make it nice and cool with the AC units in just an hour. Nothin else to say other than — we’ll be returning :)

We have stayed in this unit so many times we think of it as ours. The location is ideal. It’s close to beach, resort pools large and small, and the grassy hillside where people sit to watch the sunset while children play. For some reason people who stay here are usually very outgoing and within a week a community of friendly people develops. Truly the Aloha spirit. The beach rarely seems too crowded, the water is warm, and there’s good snorkeling all around. A bit of paradise.

Great condo. We usually stay on Kaanapali Beach. This year we broke it up to 1 week at Kaanapali and 1 week at Wailea. Glad we did. 23d D is well stocked with everyday, useful utensils, beach chairs umbrella and cooler. Close to the beach and 2 pools. The barbeque on the lanai came in very handy . This unit was clean, comfortable and in a quiet location. Were sure a return visit is in our future. Thank you Bob for the pleasure of letting us stay there.

The view from the lanai takes your breath away...all your cares literally drift away, as you watch the palms sway in the tropical breeze and the sun glitter off the ocean surface. This tropical condo is a true “retreat”. The unit is nicely decorated and furnished with everything you need to enjoy the sun (sand chairs, umbrella, towels, noodles, boogie board) and cooking. The manager, Bob Folk, is a delight to work with and very attentive to your needs. My favorite get-away!

We recently stayed at 23D and loved every minute. Condo has a little view of the ocean/sunset as well as a pleasant view to upcountry from the covered deck. It is well-appointed with everything you need to cook, bbq, and play on the beach. Perfect size for a couple. It's also close to the main pool and beach, which is really nice! No long hikes up in the hot sun. My only suggestion would be to have more comfy chairs/couch out on the deck, as it's the best place to hang out. TIP: For those who like to score the freshest local catch of the day for your dinner bbq, find Billy Jackson's Fresh Fish van on the side of the road in Kehei. You can also get local grass-fed beef from the Maui Ranch at the close-by island market in Shops at Wailea. The beach at Ekahi is the one of the best around! Mahalo for another fantastic vacation in paradise!

Almost every unit at Ekahi is a good place to stay, and we've stayed in many. However, once we stayed in Ekahi23D, we were hooked on it. It's only one bedroom which is great for us because we're only one couple. I love the view from the deck morning, noon and night. It's close to both the beach, the big pool, as well as one of the quiet pools. While the unit is perfect for us, Ekahi has a casual, friendly ambiance and people come from all over the Pacific Rim. Everyone chats with each other.

The condo is centrally located inside the beautiful Wailea Ekahi Village complex. Walking distance to plenty of shops and restaurants and located on one of the most beautiful beaches in Maui. There are multiple pools available for guests to use as well as direct access to the beach.
The condo itself is clean, bright and well laid out. All the amenities needed to make your stay special. We made use of both the pool and beach accessories, Very glad to have the blender for whipping up tropical cocktails.

Overall stay at this property was very good!!! The only thing I would suggest is to trim the bush in front of the patio. We did not use patio because the view was not there only the bush!!
