The owner was very helpful and responded in a timely manner. The unit has everything one would need especially a washer and dryer. I would have given 5 stars all around but one room owner stated there was an issue with the air conditioning unit. I utilized both ceiling fans which helped some. Also only one lamp worked in the room and no light on ceiling fan. Overall fantastic place and phenomenal location. I loved waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sunrise and set daily.

This was our sixth time in Maui and as usual it was relaxing and enjoyable. We came for the basketball tournament, UNC plays every 4th year, and totally get caught up in the small gym experience, you are right there with the players, coaches and refs. Every day in Maui is different. We have done most of the outdoor adventures and as my wife and I turned 80 we went to the aquarium, hiked in the national park, went for lunch at the Kapulua Plantation House, found Coconuts’ fish tacos (a number of times). The small pool and veranda at our VRBO unit at Lauloa in Maalaea was just terrific and we totally enjoyed our books and relaxation there. We thank all involved, particularly the property owners, with our VRBO vacation.

This is our second stay at this beautiful condo and cannot say enough positive things.
Our for first stay was in March 2020……two weeks before the pandemic lockdown. We were so impressed by this unit that we promised ourselves when we returned for a visit to beautiful Maui this would be our “GO TO” condo.
You cannot go wrong if you decide to stay here. Susan the owner makes like the process so smooth and is very accommodating/responsive to your needs.
Condo is centrally located, fifteen to thirty minutes to the west/north side, east side and the south side…….with the exception of Hana and Haleakala.
Like we said, this condo is highly recommended.

Great location for Maui. Property was ok but not updated or anything spectacular. Water pressure in the showers was more like a drizzle and not a sready stream. Not scoring any points for poor quality of sheets and towels as well. However, the worst part was arriving back from our trip to an email from the owners claiming there was damage to a master bedroom closet???? Thank God I work in the fraud industry and can protect myself from scammers. It wasn't a bad place to stay, but I would skip dealing with theese owners and find a better place to stay without worrying about getting scammed.witharriving back from our trip w

Very quiet 4th floor condo with spectacular ocean view. You can hear the relaxing sound of the surf crashing on the shoreline, if you leave the sliding glass lanai door open. Full kitchen with all dishes and full size washer and dryer. Cable TV in every room. Short drive to many great restaurants, beaches, and places to shop. Walking distance to the Maui Aquarium, Starbucks, Carl's Jr, Circle K, Phillips 76, and several restaurants by the harbor.

This property did not disappoint! Beautiful oceanfront exactly as advertised. We watched turtles just feet away from sun up to sundown. We also enjoyed seeing monk seals in the bay. Also amazing that this condo is walking distance to extensive beaches that went for miles. Love this place!

The photos don’t do this place justice. It was perfect! Clean, comfortable, and had everything you need to cook, grill by the pool or enjoy the beach. You can walk to aquarium, shops and dining and easy to get to most places on the island. It was truly a gem! Thank you!

Loved this beautiful, well equipped condo. Quiet and friendly complex. Loved sitting on the lanai watching all the turtles. The pool was relaxing. Loved the location, close to some good food, Point break pizza is delish. The host was so gracious and accommodating. Will be our future go to place in Maui. The A/C was lovely when needed.

The complex is well run and clean. The room looks right onto the water and we could see whales from our room. The biggest surprise was a small beach on the property that is maybe 100 yards from the room. At sunset about 10 sea turtles would beach themselves for sleeping. We watched the creatures almost every night. A real bonus. The only draw back is there are only a couple of places to dine at within a reasonable walk. We did a Costco run and we cooked a bunch of meals in the room. Good value and a winner.

The condominium and hosts deserve five stars plus. The view is spectacular. An added treat was seeing the sea turtles from our balcony. The condominium is beautifully and tastefully decorated. We ate and shopped at the nearby restaurants and shops, which were within walking distance and so convenient. We walked to the swimming/walking beach once, however, we couldn’t wait to get back to the condominium. The hosts were always quick to respond. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay a night or two longer! If we ever go back, this is where we will stay, hands down.

The property is amazing-located on a dead end with several other condos. The pool seems small at first, but there were multiple days when we had the pool to ourselves, and on days we didn’t there may have been 3-4 others at the pool. It’s very quiet, which was a huge plus for us. After exploring the island and being in crowds, it was nice to come back to a quiet and relaxing area.
Speaking of the area- don’t let this quiet little secluded spot fool you. There is a harbor, Maui Ocean Center, Maalaea Harbor Shops, a General Store that serves breakfast/lunch and has great smoothies, and at least 3 restaurants- all within a very short walking distance. On the other end of the road there’s a park with a beach that is also a short walking distance. I walked to both daily- the shops sometimes 2-3 times a day. You can even walk the grass to the shops which makes it even quicker (great for bringing back Shave ice and fresh cookies from Hula Cookies).
The unit is perfect! We saw sea turtles daily and a few eels. The waves were very rough, but we enjoyed watching the experts snorkeling and fishing. You can walk to the rocks below and view turtles closer in the water, or just view from the room. You can hear the waves and the winds and it’s very relaxing.
The owner thought of everything, and we had no issues or concerns. It’s a great condo-centrally located so exploring the island was easy. This is a very safe area and we wouldn’t hesitate to rent again. Thank you!

This condo is gorgeous and extremely comfortable! The kitchen and baths were generously stocked with cookware and supplies so you feel right at home! AC works well, but open the patio doors to hear the sound of the waves just 50 feet away. Surf or spectate right from your backyard. Centrally located, yet away from the hustle bustle.

I went to Maui with my mom, aunt, and uncle. The property and unit is absolutely gorgeous. Our master bedroom, and essentially the whole condo except the guest room, faced the water. I can't tell you how many nights I zoned out on the lanai or fell asleep listening to the waves. The property and surrounding properties are well kept, and quiet. No partying, or craziness from bars - it was great. It's also a 4 minute walk down to the harbor, where a lot of the boat tours launch from (including Four Winds Molokini Snorkeling). The kitchen is beautiful and stocked with everything you need and more in terms of cook and bakeware. Plenty of towels, including beach towels, coolers, beach chairs - just a wonderful property. Check in was super easy, parking was convenient (and free, just have to fill out a pass to stick in the window). If you're looking to stay closer to a place with a "larger town feel" and a ton of walkable restaurants or bars, this may not be the best option for you because even though it's only 15 minutes from some busier areas with more restaurants, you'd have to drive there. Drive-wise, Safeway and other restaurant options are about 15 minutes away, which is not bad at all. There are a few restaurants down the street you can walk to, along with a diner that serves breakfast and lunch (diner also has a small bar area to get some drafts or mixed drinks but they close early. If you buy any alcohol from the cooler, you cannot take it with you), Tante's, and some novelty shops. Kind of reminded me of a sleepy harbor town. Only complaint, if you will, would be was that we thought the 2nd bedroom was supposed to have a Queen bed, but it was more like a double or slightly larger than a full. 2 people fit on it comfortably, but I don't think it was a queen. Also, while the window in it faces the mountains and features wooden shades to open and get a breeze, it's located at the front of the condo, so you can hear people walking by/talking in the hallway (rare, but my aunt was paranoid about leaving the window open at night for fear of someone being able to see/break in even though the window probably wouldn't fit a normal sized adult. Right off main thoroughfares to get where you need to go quickly. If you're looking for quiet, peaceful, relaxation, low-key - this is absolutely the place to be, rental-wise! I've saved it to my favorites for the next time I am able to escape.

We cannot say enough about our stay in this VRBO condo! Everything was exactly as described. This condo is absolutely beautiful, incredibly comfortable and perfect for a family of four. Such attention to detail in every part of this unit. The view of the ocean is amazing, and the beach nearby was just a short walk or drive, whatever you prefer to do. The pool was typically vacant, so we felt like we had our own private pool. The owner is incredibly responsive and provides all the information you need and more. The kitchen has all the dishes, cookware, and supplies you need. The beautiful upgrades the owner made were icing on the cake. Loved our stay here and would stay again in a heartbeat!

You're so close to the ocean you can't see the beach area, just the ocean from the lania. A couple of nights we sat out there reading our kindles after dark listening to the ocean as we read. This was an excellent place to stay if you want to see the whole island and do lots of things! The condo has everything you need and more (beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, full kitchen). You will need a rental car to explore the island - but this makes an excellent base in the middle. And when you come home from a day of hiking, surfing, or exploring - the lovely balcony and quiet less-touristy area (super quiet - did not hear other tenants at all for 10 days) are relaxing and beautiful. We counted 19 turtles as we walked along the seawall behind the condos one evening. Excellent morning walks along a non-crowded nearby stretch of beach. During COVID, we were especially comfortable to be away from the large hotel crowds and have the option of our own kitchen.

The property was very comfortable for our family of 4. We loved our view of the ocean and daily visits by turtles. We snorkeled immediately below our unit and swam with the turtles and colorful fish. The kitchen is well stocked and convenient for leisurely meals. We traveled all around the island, during our stay. It was a great home base. We visited while the trade winds were in full force, so it was pretty windy for most of our visit. The winds did keep it cooler, though. We would stay in this same unit again!

Rented this condo for 3 grand parents while we stayed in a unit one floor down (which was also great!). The condo was perfect for our parents. It was very open, clean, easy to navigate and well appointed. It was also very comfortable from the spaciousness to the furnishings. The top floor and oceanfront allowed for excellent views of Haleakala and Ma’alea bay for a very relaxing stay. Communication with the property owner was also easy to manage through VRBO. We will definitely seek this condo out for our future visits!

From start to finish, this was a great property. Here is just a partial list of what we loved: Lots of safe parking, grounds were perfectly groomed and pool was very clean. Lawn on the ocean side was fun to walk and search for turtles, condo was VERY well stocked with ANYTHING you might need. Even had a cooler and lawn chair. Kitchen is perfect. To be honest, we spent 90% of our time on the patio enjoying the view. We would stay here again in a minute. Selfishly, I hope nobody reads this or the condo might become one of the most popular properties in Maui and we won't be able to get future reservations. :) Property owner was quick to respond to any question. Our first time staying in Maalaea (normally we reside in the Kaanapali area) so I wasn't sure what to expect. This location is AMAZING!!! For starters.....there is NOTHING that you could possibly need as far as kitchenware goes! Fully stocked!! Plenty of dishware, utensils, every kitchen appliance you could need, blender, coffee pot, measuring cups/spoons, graters, squeezers, serving platters, pots/pans, condiments etc. The view from the lanai is stunning!! We watched the sunrise, sunset, saw turtles daily, and whales right during our morning coffee! I read the reviews about being able to see turtles from the lanai but had no idea how many there would be! We must have seen 20 that first morning. The walk to the beach was short and easy. Perfect for paddle boards, snorkeling, beachcombing, sunning, picnics etc. Beach bums (you have to eat here!!), the aquarium, gear rental, shopping and the general store were just a quick walk up the road. Pedro (the local condo cat) was one of the kids favorite parts as he would ride the elevator with us as he was looking for a sunny spot to sleep in. The unit was quiet and relaxing but close enough to make a quick run to the grocery store or outlet shopping. We felt completely comfortable letting our kids walk "into town" on their own to grab donuts, ice cream, or do a little shopping. EVERYONE in this area was so friendly and it felt like our own little community. There was one minor repair to be done on a window shade and Susan had Digger come out and fix it immediately!! I just can't say enough about what a wonderful rental property this is. Plenty of room, comfortable furniature, wifi/cable, beautiful location. You just couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you so much for letting your "home" be our "home"! We can't wait to come back!!

A very well located, well furnished condo with amazing views. We enjoyed our 14 day stay here. The central but private location and the beach nearby, was perfect to relax and rejuvenate. Susan was excellent to deal with and the pride of ownership really shows in this condo. She has stocked it with everything you could possibly need.
The best thing in this condo for me was the view of the ocean from the master bedroom and the large comfortable patio table on the lanai. I don't believe we ate any meals inside. Thank you for sharing this with us Susan.

We loved Maui. We greatly appreciated all the extra's this condo had, including the free parking, beach chairs, cooler, umbrellas and boogie boards. We enjoyed eating on the outdoor deck. The location is away from the touristy areas, which we liked. The condo is ocean front but not beach front, you do have to walk down the street to get to sandy beach area.

This condo is such a gem, we would definitely stay there again! It is centrally located to everything, and is wonderfully stocked with a cooler, chairs, etc... - really anything you would need for a day out. We spent four nights there with our kids, it was perfect for our family of four! You are on the water, so eating breakfast and nightly wine and cheese on the lanai was such a pleasure. In addition, being steps from a beautiful white sand beach for our morning walks was just perfect.

Condo's are definitely the best deal in Hawaii....this beautiful condo, looking out to sea was perfect for a weeks get away....well stocked with essentials the only thing we had to purchase was food!
The King sized mattress was a little lumpy and yo have to be careful getting out of bed...the shower was great, with 2 options so you can enjoy a hot shower after a day on the beach...the well stocked kitchen had everything you could want....including a french press!! Would highly recommend!

My husband, his parents, and I stayed here for 6 nights and we loved it! The condo is comfortable, spacious, and very clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could think of to make your own meals. Beach chairs and coolers all provided.. Staying here is EASY! But what we loved the most about this place was the view from the balcony. It's breathtaking. We also loved the location of this place in Maalaea. It's a quiet harbor and not too touristy and also a short drive to attractions and a convenient place to stay if you want to do dinner cruises, etc. We would definitely stay here again!

The title says it all about this lovely 4th floor LauLoa condo. Here are the reasons why:
- lovely remodel with everything in a perfect place. The large screen TV faces the comfy living room furniture versus the dining area as sometimes happens at Lauloa.
- Ceiling fans in all the right places; over the living room furniture versus dining room table, both bedrooms, AND the master bath.
- Excellent kitchen layout with great appliances, large work surface, and storage for your food. Many condos don't offer this and you have to stack your groceries on the counter. Plenty of dishes, pots, pans, rice cooker, knives, utensils, glassware, etc.
- bathrooms are lovely, clean, have great storage, terrific showers, and plush towels
- bedrooms are comfy, great closet and drawer space, and each has it's own TV
- Unit has all the extras you need as well; beach towels, ice chests, noodles, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, washer and dryer, etc.
- 4th floor offers complete privacy - no one can see in unless they are actually in the water and even then I think it would be a challenge and being up high makes for outstanding views.
The owner is terrific to work with, very responsive, and takes customer service and comfort very seriously. They have thought of everything you need for a wonderful vacation in Maui. Counter height lanai chairs would allow an even better view of the beautiful water and ocean life but the existing furniture is comfy and great use of space.
This is the BEST unit in Lauloa - we will be a repeat renter for sure!

This is a beautiful home. We loved the layout and the decor. Loved the special touches the cleaning gals added before we arrived! The view is awesome and very relaxing- great for breakfast and winding down! We watched turtles and whales off the balcony. The view is NOT obstructed by the harbor. The sound of the crashing waves through the night was awesome! We loved all the accommodations (washer/dryer, dishwasher, cleaning supplies on hand). You can tell a lot of pride and love are put into this home! It is SUPER clean! Susan is very sweet and very easy to work with. We had an AWESOME time while staying in this home! I also liked how there are "recycling" bins down in the trash room! We never had a problem finding a parking spot. Thanks for the great experience Susan and to all future guests... You'll love it!

Just returned from our Maui vacation of a lifetime and we were lucky to have found this gem of a condo. Location was wonderful right in Maalea Harbor. Quiet, clean condo building with a beautiful pool and view. Watched whales and turtles right from the large lanai! The ameneties provided in this condo were top notch, better than any we have experienced on other vacations.Coolers, Beach Chairs, Umbrella, beach towels, binoculars, books, endless kitchen supplies, even lots of hangers in the closets and more. There was nothing we needed! I can tell alot of thought went into what is provided in this condo. Also was very clean upon our arrival, a well taken care of home. Very centrally located making trips to Kihei or Lanai easy. Susan the owner was very quick to respond during our planning and a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely rent here again. The Maalea Harbor area is our favorite place to stay on Maui and this Condo is the perfect home away from home. It is beautifully decorated and has all the top quality amenities that you could ask for along with a perfect view of Whales and Turtles from your private lanai. Daily walks on Sugar Beach and snorkeling right in front of the condo make for an amazing visit to Maui. We have stayed in most of the condo complexes in the harbor area and Lauloa and especially this unit are some of the nicest available. The building is quiet and it is a short drive to Kihei or Kahului for shopping or dining. Thank you Susan and William for sharing the perfect place to enjoy the perfect vacation.

We loved this property! My family and I spent a post holiday vacation here and truly loved the area, the condo and the quietness of the property. Susan was very responsive to questions we had and we loved the new kitchen and bathrooms (great shower pressure!) We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it. Love the centralized location and our whale watching cruise departed right at the start of the harbor, an easy walk - could not get any closer than that! And one of the things we love most is that you can hear the ocean as you drift off to sleep. :)

Great condo exactly as the pictures and text describe. Top floor location means that you see a few coconut trees and then the Pacific Ocean/Maalaea Bay from every room. Great sunrises over Haleakala and it was fun to watch the boat traffic from Maalaea Harbor. The furnishings and the kitchen equipment were all top notch. Susan is a dream to work with and is very prompt in responding to questions. The Lauloa condo complex is conveniently located to quickly get to anyplace on Maui. Maalaea can be windy but the wind helps keep the condo cool and comfy. The condo is very quiet.

Just arrived home from five days in Oahu and a 10 days in Maui it was amazing. It was our fifth time visiting Hawaii out first time in Maui...all I can say is I love Maui. This condo is beautiful just like the pictures. The condo is perfect for two couples plenty of room everything you need and the most beautiful views. We truly loved our visit at this condo! We came with another couple after staying 7 days In a time share in Kauai. This condo was way better and far more beautiful...It was well stocked for travelers to have everything they need while on vacation. We were able to walk to the harbor for our excursion to the coral gardens which was beautiful. it was clean and comfortable, the management is quick to answer any problem you encounter. (We discovered that the coffee pot was cracked- they quickly replaced it). If we are lucky enough to come back we will stay here again!

The condo was beautiful! It had everything you could possibly need including beach items! It was centrally located, very quiet. Just down the street from a very nice beach. My sister and I loved sitting out on the lania every morning and evening watching the turtles! The sound of the waves put me to sleep every night! I won! I got to sleep in the master bedroom! Our favorite restaurant was about 20_minutes away. It was called,Leoda's Kitchen and Pie Shop . it's about 15 minutes from Lahania on the left. We highly recommend the Old Lahaina Luau and Warren and Annabells's Comedy/Magic Show. Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo! It was perfect!!!

It might seem funny to comment on the cabinet hinges, but it is just an example of the fine quality found throughout this condo. The remodeled unit is beautiful and the furniture comfortable. The kitchen was the best stocked we have seen in our condo rentals (5+) on the islands; there wasn't anything we looked for that we didn't find available for use.
Hooks in the showers for wet suits/towels, extra ice trays for those of us that outpace the auto ice maker, three (THREE!) sizes of coolers for use...it goes on and on.
Susan was so easy to deal with setting up the rental and answering questions. The area was perfect for our needs and the location couldn't be more convenient. Easy driving distance to all parts of the island, which was especially welcome after a long day to be so close to shopping, dining and the ocean. Views from the lanai were beautiful and felt private, with no other units able to see in. Building was quiet and easily accessible. Beach right down the road, pool heated for use and a cute general store just up the road.
We would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly.

We had the pleasure of being the first to stay in this unit since it's rehab (checked in on Feb 21). What a wonderful place! Very clean, beds comfortable, and very tastefully decorated. The kitchen was amazing as well as the new bathrooms. The best, of course, is the view. Right on the Water!! Spacious lanai to dine on or just relax and watch the whales. The building is quiet and there is easy parking and elevator access (and easy guest parking on the street out front - plenty of availability).

The location of the condo is perfect for us as we enjoy a more secluded get-away. It's far enough away from the local traffic of areas like Lahaina, Kahului, and Kihei, and yet they are a short drive if you want to head into town for dinner or to do some shopping. As for the unit, we are truly impressed as it has certainly lived up to our expectations and beyond! It's a newly renovated oceanfront condo with lots of attention to detail. Everything from the tastefully done Hawaiian style decorations, the rainfall simulated shower head in both bathrooms, the binoculars for viewings of humpback whales from the lanai, to the well stocked kitchen (i.e. coffee filters, Cajun spices, etc.) and the many hanging fixtures in the shower for drip drying wet bathing suits all made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. We liked using the well-lit ample sized granite top area in the kitchen for our laptop to download photos and to search for sight-seeing activities. My favourite space is the lanai where we sat for our morning coffee as well as the oversized armchair beside the floor to ceiling picture windows / sliding doors after a spending a day at the nearby Sugar Beach! We highly recommend this unit and hope to be back again soon!

This beautiful condo exceeded our expectations, hard to believe it's even better than the pictures. We arrived at night and immediately went out to the lanai, and although we couldn't see a thing, could hear the soothing waves - yup, it was oceanfront! It's even better during the day as we watched the whales and turtles from perfect, front-row seats.
Everything within the condo has been redone, with gorgeous bamboo cabinets, granite countertops, tile floor, new tile/rock showers, brand-new appliances, giant TVs, and having the new washer & dryer within the unit was wonderful. We took a run on Sugar Beach most mornings, walked down to Maalaea harbor for snacks (Hula cookies ice cream sandwich!), restaurants (breakfast at Beach Bums), and the Whale Watch cruise (Pacific Whale Foundation). The master bedroom is oceanfront and we'd be lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves and wake up to watching the ocean. The condo was also perfectly stocked with new bath towels, beach towels, coolers, beach chairs, even some plastic containers to put our cut up pineapple in the fridge. So as you can tell, I love the place, and you will too. We've been coming to Maui for 25 years (parents live in Paia) and Maalaea is my favorite place to stay as it's the best for whale watching and doesn't have the crowds of Kihea. I can't wait to come back and we'll be staying here when we do.

What an incredible place to relax and enjoy for my vacation. Only 15 minutes from the airport. A one minute drive or 5 minute walk to Maalaea Harbor and the Maui Ocean Center. You will find restaurants, the aquirium, and shopping at the Ocean Center and at Maalaea Harbor is where the tour boats and charter fishing boats depart. The Lauloa condo building is 100 feet from the ocean and the view of the ocean is unobstructed. The view from the lanai was exceptional, watching the surfers , the fishing boats, and the turtles. One of the best things was the master bedroom ocean view from the king size bed and the never ending beautiful sound of the waves! I definitely recommend this condo to friends and family and look forward to returning.

Rented this great top floor condo and the views are spectacular just as the pictures show. The condo is beautifully decorated, very clean and well stocked. The beds are extremely comfortable. The building is private, quiet and well kept. The kids loved to play in the enclosed pool with grass area. We used the BBQ several times and once ate dinner by the pool. Most of the time we ate our meals out on the private lanai with its great views, but did use the dining area inside. The central location is perfect for getting around the island. The marina is a five minute walk and has a few restaurants, some with great happy hours and music. We took a snorkel tour to Molokini which was fun and we all loved it. At night the lights on the palm trees made our dinners on the lanai dreamy. This was a great vacation!
