Excellent location on well taken care of property. Right across from Cove Beach Park, great to wake up and see the ocean and watch the surfers, and in the evening to see the sunset. We have typically stayed a little further south in the past, a little closer to Charley Young and Kamaole Beaches which we prefer to Cove Beach, but this was not much further, and we loved being so close to the food trucks and Foodland. Pool and hot tub were excellent and well maintained. Property isn't as updated as others but priced accordingly and we were very satisified with what we got. Thanks for a great stay!!

Great communication and perks of umbrella, boogie board, and other beach stuff. It is in a very good location if you are learning to surf. The A/C in the bedroom is amazing because a lot of units do not have that. Take note.

Great spot for a chill time. Surfing across the street with a board shop around the corner. Free use of snorkeling equipment. Walk or short drive to some of the best beaches on Maui. Place was clean and fully equipped.

Everything about this place was amazing. Location, view, a/c, amenities, pool temp, cleanliness, towels, boogie board, lounge chairs/umbrella, washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen including condiments and coffee, decent beds, quiet and private, front row parking every day, shopping/food 5 minutes walk away, and adorable little geckos greeting us every morning on our way out of the complex. Greg was super easy to communicate with, and gave us a phone number to call if we needed anything. This place was great!

Greg’s condo was perfect for our week on Maui. It was clean and comfortable and well stocked with beach gear. We loved sitting on the lanai watching the surfers and spotting whales. The location is perfect with beaches and lots of great places to eat in easy walking distance.

Our 2nd floor condo was clean, beautifully decorated, and well stocked with everything we needed. Loved the expansive ocean view. We used the beautiful pool, hot tub, BBQ grills and pickleball courts every day. Highly recommended!

This condo is super clean and has an awesome view from the private deck. We enjoyed watching the surfers and the sunsets. The air conditioning was welcomed in the afternoons. The pool and gardens are well maintained. We felt very safe. There is a place to park your car behind the building. The owner, Greg, had everything beautifully arranged for us. Condo was excellent! Located on a major road, but condo is past the pool, so road noise not a problem. Condo and property/pool well cared for and secure. Condo had everything we needed. Greg was very responsive when booking and when we needed to call him while at the condo. Great location with many great dining options a short walking distance away. Beginner surf break right outside the condo. Snorkeling spots very close and saw many sea turtles. We will be back!!

We found this condo to be very convenient to beaches and restaurants for both walking and driving. Not fancy, but a well-equipped property which met all of our needs for cooking, grilling, sleeping and laundry. We also appreciated having extra beach towels. There seems to be a good community of friendly, longer term owners/guests which made the property feel more homey and safe. Overall, a very affordable option this close to the water and activities. We would certainly stay here again if returning to Maui.

We have been to Kihei many times, and this stay was wonderful. We enjoyed morning walks a short block away to get coffee and stroll through the gardens with our toddler. The location was perfect. Greg was available and responsive, but never intrusive. He even bought a new pack n play for our stay. The condo is small, but perfect for our little family. It was very clean and comfortable, and had a beautiful view of the ocean. We will be back!

We had a wonderful time in this lovely condo. Greg is an excellent host. He answered our questions promptly and made the whole experience stress-free. The condo is well equipped and has a beautiful view with a nice patio for coffee and drinks. The pool area is nice and the BBQ area is kept so clean.
For us, the location was perfect. We like to walk to beaches and restaurants and could easily do that. You can easily get to so many great spots. The Kihei food trucks are great for a delicious and casual dinner — so much variety. And the Paia Fish Market — yum!! We enjoyed live music outside at Ohana (all within walking distance) no need to worry about parking!

Greg’s condo was just as listed and then some. He supplied some dishwasher and laundry tabs plus toilet paper (the good type!) and paper towels (same). Beds extremely comfortable and both AC’s got the job done. Lovely view of the water right across the street. Good communication. Would definitely stay here again if come back to Maui. Highly recommend.

The apartment has a great view with everything close by in kehei from Sandy beaches to rentals to kehei cafe, food trucks and night clubs.
The apartment was clean and had good amenities although the washing machine was out of order. That cause some inconvenience since I had planned on doing some laundry, but was notified after moving in that it was out of order.

Shores of Maui #208 was a great condo for two! It definitely met our “must-haves” when renting a condo in Hawaii: cleanliness and an ocean view. The property is kept immaculately clean by a friendly, hard-working groundskeeper and the unit was also perfectly cleaned and well-maintained. It’s as pictured on VRBO listing, with tasteful and comfortable furnishings. We rarely used the air conditioners, but they were wonderful to have as an option to having the doors open. Although the lanai is really only big enough for two (in part due to the air conditioning unit, which blows hot air if unit is on in in either bedroom or living room), it has two comfortable chairs and a beautiful and relaxing view of the ocean just across the street. As others have mentioned, we enjoyed watching the surfers and paddle boarders, as well as the whales and dolphins (at a distance, but still visible — even in early April!). We loved having the convenient keyless entry, locking screen door, and big parking lot, along with the perfect property (small, quiet complex) and location (easy access and close to beaches, restaurants and groceries). All in all, it was a great find! We would definitely recommend this property, and particularly this unit, to others looking for a casual, comfortable, view rental in laid-back Kihei!
Minor suggestions for a condo advertised for three — and little extras that would have made our stay even better:
* Offer six bath towels (especially important for those times when washer/dryer not working, as when we stayed)
* Stock bathroom with 3 rolls of toilet paper and one box of facial tissues
* Have a small bar of soap for each sink and shower
* Have a radio/CD/DVD player in unit
* Have info in welcome binder for how to operate TV, where to find beach “toys” (We finally found snorkel gear — under bed— upon packing to check out!), and maybe even owner-recommended restaurants/attractions.
Additionally (and again, this is only a suggestion/personal preference idea if this unit is usually rented for parties of two, as with us), I would highly recommend taking out the twin and queen beds and offering a king-sized bed for a little more comfort.

We go to Maui every year and this was by far the best property we’ve had. We watched the surfers every morning and the views were spectacular. We even saw a whale breach from our deck. We had a group staying at different condos on the property and they all said this one was the best. The condo was very clean and the property was very well-maintained. Couldn’t ask for anything else. Will definitely stay here again.

The view is wonderful. We were able to see whales from the balcony. The interior has been modernized. The unit is in an older complex, but everything about this was great. It seems many people visit about the same time each year, creating a welcoming environment. It is also walking distance from the triangle and Foodland.

Everything was perfect, top to bottom. The condo is immaculate and perfectly equipped. The pool is gorgeous. The view is to die for. The price is competitive. The location couldn't be more well situated in Kihei. The owner is what you hope for in your dreams.
We didn't even need to rent a car! We did for a couple of days just to go to a few other places, but otherwise we could walk to everything we needed.
And the whales! There were ALWAYS whales jumping around out there -- every time we looked, we could spot at least one, and they were visible right from the balcony.
For the perfect Kihei experience, this is the place to stay!

This property has amazing views! It is well stocked with all the amenities needed for your stay. Pickleball or tennis on-site. Beach access just across the street. Pool, grills and friendly people. It's a great condo for the following reasons: 1) The view. Having a direct view of the ocean is just awesome. 2) The unit is clean and well-maintained. It had all the amenities per the listing. 3) The whole property is also clean. I saw someone every day cleaning the pool and wiping down the chairs and bbq area. It's a perfect location because it's walking to distance to everything (great restaurants, gas station, Foodland, multiple beache park, shave ice, hair salon, massage and yoga, coffee places). Yet it's also within easy driving distance to OGG, Wailea, Paia, Lahaina.
Greg, the property manager, was also easy to communicate with and answered all my questions. Thank you for sharing your condo. We had a fantastic stay.

The unit was clean, well stocked and everything was functional. It was a nice location to just walk down the street to restaurants, shops and beach parks. Kihei is also a nice central location in Maui.

Everything within walking distance
We did not rent a car. Beach access very easy. Condo was clean and well stocked. Had trouble getting cable TV to work in living room. Bedroom TV worked fine. All in all, a great place to stay.

I haven't been that relaxed in a long time. Maui is magical. The condo is in a real great spot. You can hop in the ocean just across the street. We were able to watch the waves and surfers from the balcony. There was a full kitchen. We cooked a few times, although the food in Kihei is fantastic, it was hard not to go out to eat.
The condo has a nice sized shower. Washer and dryer work well. We would definitely stay here again. The only curious thing, I could be mistaken, but I thought the listing said queen-sized mattress. I'm pretty sure that was a double, not a queen. Regardless, it was comfortable enough. The air-conditioning works really well. We were always very comfortable with regards to the heat. There is so much within walking distance of the condo. It's a great place to stay. Woukd totally recommend it!

We’ve stayed at this property twice (both times in December) and it has been the best! We love the location, and the smaller condo complex. The unit is clean and cozy and the A/C’s work great. The views from the lanai are amazing! Sunsets and also a perfect view of the surf break across the street. We love this unit and highly recommend it. We have stayed at Shores of Maui several times, it has always been a wonderful stay. The oceanfront pool and location right in the heart of Kihei is tough to beat.
At this unit the owner was great with communication throughout the process. We were glad to have a pack and play, and hi chair available for our infant daughter. We will surely be back when we are able to.

This condo is the perfect location for a visit to Maui. It's clean, comfortable, and central to everything. But, the view is the thing! There's an unobstructed sunset view over the beach and a sunrise view through the bedroom window. Not that I ever saw it! We slept in long after sunrise.

We stayed here for 12 nights with our infant son. We found the location very well situated to tour other towns in Maui. The view from the condo is wonderful. The building itself was full of lovely people and the pool deck was never too busy or loud. We definitely recommend for anyone looking to visit Maui to stay here. We would stay here again.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was an awesome location and my wife enjoyed taking surf lessons right across the street with Maui Waveriders. The view off the patio is fantastic and there is a beautiful beach just south of the Cove that we really enjoyed. The condo itself was immaculate. Very clean and comfortable, the AC worked great, and the kitchen was well stocked. We used the grills outside to cook Ahi tuna one night. The pool is also a nice perk. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here! Kihei is a perfect central location for exploring the island, and there are some great bars/restaurants a few blocks down the street. Could not have asked for anything better for the price :)

We stayed here February 11 - 23/12 and were very pleased. We loved the view, the pool, the grounds, and the condo was in immaculate condition. It was wonderful having all the ammenities and kitchen gadgets so we could do our own cooking. Thank you so much for having a coffee grinder so we could enjoy fresh ground Maui coffee daily! It was also great to have the laptop and Wi-Fi and so convenient to have the washer and dryer right in the unit. It was also nice to have a second t.v. in the bedroom in case we wanted to watch something before sleeping. Thank you for everything, we hope to come back again soon.

My family, which included my 2 year old toddler travelled to kihei, maui for our first time. The condo building is in a great location, and the grounds are well maintained. Beautiful outdoor pool and hot tub. The condo was very clean and comfortable. We loved having the kitchen and laundry available! I would recommend this place to anyone, we would return in a heartbeat. Thank you Greg and family for sharing this with us!
