First of all I didn’t realize we would be on the second floor and at age 82 it was exhausting pulling luggage and dragging grocery bags up the stairs. Also, apparently there is little insulation because every car and particularly motor bike sounded like it was going thru our apartment. Sleep was difficult to say the least. The unit was well maintained and updated but the noise from the outside was too much for us to overcome. We will look for other accommodations next time.

We came with our family for a week and had a good experience. The walk to the beach was about 10 minutes. Overall the place was nice and well stocked with everything we needed. It would have been nice to have a stock list of the beach items in the closet so that we knew there was snorkeling gear and boogie boards in advance. The dishwasher had a funky smell so likely needs to be sanitized so we just didn’t use it.

My husband and I enjoyed our 8 night stay in this condo that had everything we needed for day trips, beach and pool days. The kitchen was well stocked, the condo felt comfortable and very clean. The view on the deck was enjoyable all day long as you look over a pool, beautiful flowers & trees and ocean in the distance. We caught some great sunsets right there!

This listing is a must! The view from the lanai is beautiful and a quick 10 min walk to the pool/beach access area. We felt very safe in this community. We found Wailea to be the best area to stay on the island, as you're a quick 5-10 min drive to various hotels with their speciality restaurants along the water, Wailea shops (outdoor mall), and grocery store (Safeway). It's walkable distance to the 2 mile walk giving you a beautiful view of the shoreline, especially at sunset! The bed is very comfortable, one of the reasons why we chose it for the sleep number bed. Tim has many amenities to use like the beach chairs, beach cooler/ice packs, beach bag, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, towels, etc which were very convenient when trying to pack light! The kitchen is stocked for meal prepping if desired as well. You will not be disappointed when choosing this location for your vacation! Thank you Tim, we had a wonderful vacation!

We had a wonderful experience. Tim’s place is in a great condo community with many pools and beach access. The condo is well stocked with boogies boards, chairs, and snorkeling gear. The only bummer was the construction noise across the street that starts around 7am.

Condo was very clean and nicely decorated. Lots of supplies and water equipment. For older folks or those with young kids, the condo is up on the hill and takes 5-8 minutes to trek back up after the beach and pavilion. Some road noise as it is close to the street and some construction across the street. Easy parking and great location. Overall, I would love to stay again. Thank you Tim!

Tim was the perfect host and his property was fantastic. It definitely felt like a home away from home. Whether you decide on a short walk or drive to one of the best beaches on the island or indulge in hanging out poolside, this is the place to be. It was like staying at your own private resort in a prime location on the island. I recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing and stress free vacation.

Tim is the most incredible host. He is an awesome communicator, prompt, thorough, and clear. He exudes professionalism and friendliness. We felt like we were being hosted by an old friend, we felt well looked after. His condo fit our family of four (two kids 6, 9) comfortably. We loved the views from the lanai! Others mention the road noise, and while it exists, it did not bother us, especially with the a/c or fan on. His place is stocked with all the fun beach/pool toys you could ever need! The walk to the nearest pool is under a minute and it’s about 5 to the beach. Pro tip- another family with kids mentioned in the past they just drove to the beach with kids and parked in the lower lot. We didn’t need to because we like to walk and kids are used to walking places with us, but if walking travel with your crew is more challenging there are workarounds. Ekahi is a dream, we would come back in a heartbeat!

This unit is one of the units closest to traffic. Wailea Alanui Drive is a very busy street, noise can be heard throughout the unit, especially in bedroom. From bedroom lanai, traffic can be seen and heard. If a car or motorcycle goes by with modified exhaust, vibration can be felt. Pedestrian’s conversation can be heard clearly. At night, moving headlights can be seen from bedroom. With glass sliding door closed, curtain drawn and air conditioning’s compressor on, traffic can still be heard. Wailea Alanui Drive traffic is 24/7, unlike construction below and across street.
Host offered charging only nights spent. Unfortunately alternative good accommodation cannot be found with no advance notice in high season.
This unit is one of the units furthest from beach.
Living room lanai is the best part of this unit. It has good ocean view, fairly private and nice breeze most of the times.
Internet is fast and host responses very quickly.

This condo is amazing! We enjoyed the great view from the balcony and kitchen, and the comfortable furnishings. As long as you don’t mind a hill, it’s a nice walk to and from the beach and main pool. The condo was clean and seems well maintained. We had a wonderful stay.

There was an issue with Tim’s condo, so he was able to make arrangements fo us to stay in another unit. He upgraded us to a two bedroom unit, 11F, which was stunning and spacious. It had high end features and finishes and was immaculately clean. The entire property was gorgeous. The pools were clean and uncrowned. The oceanfront pavilion at the pool was very convenient. The beach fronting the property was awesome with good afternoon boogie boarding. There was easy access to the surrounding area by car or foot. Lots of great, but busy, restaurants nearby. We will definitely return to this property for future visits.

For this stay, it was myself, my husband and my teenage son. Immediately upon walking in the door, the space looked and smelled very clean. We were all very happy with the layout and the lanai with pub style table and chairs was perfect for us. Overall, the condo had everything we needed, was very bright and welcoming. The complimentary toiletry starter kit and beautiful cotton robes were a nice touch. I liked them so much, I ordered them for my vacation rental! Communication with Tim was on point and he left no detail to chance. Beds and linens were fantastic and kitchen was well stocked. We had a wonderful time and are pleased to recommend this lovely vacation home to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat. Thank you Tim!

My husband and I had an amazing stay at this condo. The Wailea Ekahi property is the perfect location on Maui. It provides great access to the island's many sights (Hana, Haleakala, Lahaina, Iao Needle) but more importantly it is on a beautiful sand beach with great snorkeling. The property's main pool area is an easy walk or short ride from the condo. And from the main pool, you can literally walk right onto the sand. The main pool area also has a full kitchen which makes bringing lunch and drinks for the day a breeze. An ice machine is also a great bonus. There is a pool very close to this unit, but we preferred the main pool for this trip.
The condo has all of the essentials for a glorious week on the island: fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs, ice chests, snorkel gear, boogie boards, beach towels, umbrellas, beach cart, Netflix, DVD's and games. The owner has really gone out of his way to provide everything needed for a relaxing vacation.
A bonus for us was the easy access to the 1.5 mile Wailea Coastal Walk. This amazing greenbelt runs from the Ekahi property along the Pacific and by the resorts in Wailea. The stunning views were the perfect way to start each day.
We can't wait to visit this property again. It truly is the perfect place in paradise.

We love Ekahi Village!! We have now stayed in the complex twice. Our stay at Tim's being the second. Dealing with Tim was great. He was prompt in responding and was helpful in clarifying any questions we had. The condo is just as the pictures show. The kitchen and bathroom have been nicely renovated. The place was very clean when we arrived. There is a great view from the kitchen window and balcony down to the water. Unit 45F is at the back of the complex and near the road, so it can be a trek for younger kids down to the bigger pool, beach area. There is, however, a smaller 'quiet' pool just minutes away. Again, Ekahi Village is so lovely. The landscaping and gardens that connect the buildings are beautiful and the walk down to the larger pool is lovely. The beach at the bottom of the complex is magical and one of the best around. The sand is gorgeous and it is great to swimming for kids. There is even some snorkelling and boogie boarding to do! Plus, we also saw two turtles swimming along on different days and were able to swim with them. Thanks so much to Tim for a wonderful stay.

We stayed here for four nights and then moved on to the Four Seasons for four more and can honestly say we liked this condo better! It was perfectly outfitted with everything you needed (and more!) for a great relaxing stay.
There was snorkel gear, three different types of coolers, boogie boards, beach towels and awesome robes. You won't get all of that at a hotel.
The location was awesome. We walked to the beach, to the resorts for happy hour, to the Shops at Wailea to poke around and pick up small grocery items at the ABC store. We stopped at Safeway just up the street, on our way from the airport so that we could cook together (something we enjoy doing but rarely have the time to do at home). There is a deck that looks over the pool and out to the ocean and we saw some pretty amazing sunsets. The unit has a collection of DVDs as well as a Netflix set up on the TV so we watched a movie or two every night (another thing we rarely have time to do at home!)
The thing that we liked best about the unit was how relaxing it was. We never heard a sound from another person. The grounds are beautifully maintained and everything in the unit is very clean and comfortable. . .towels, bed, linens, couch and chair. And while the condo has everything you could possibly need (including a washer and dryer) there isn't a lot of "stuff" to get in your way of kicking back!
A perfect place to stay in a perfect location. Do not hesitate to stay here and love every minute of it. We cannot wait to return.

Our family had a great stay here over the holidays! The place was clean and comfortable, and the overall complex was lovely. Lots of friendly people at the pool, but still felt private too. The owner has stocked this place well with nice linens, towels, beach gear, etc. We loved the cooler and cart provided which we would pack up and take to the beach. Those little conveniences were nice. The easy walking path to the neighboring resorts for restaurants was great too. We enjoyed the Four Seasons and Andaz for food. The Wailea shopping center was a short walk too for light groceries, ice cream and lattes. We definitely recommend this place. You basically have all the comforts of a home and still have access to resort luxuries too.

Can't say enough about how lovely the Wailea Ekahi village is! This was our second trip to Maui and we knew we had to stay here. The landscaping is just beautiful with Monkey Pod tree lined streets, tropical flowers, greenery, etc. The unit is nicely appointed with everything you could want (many are brand new too). The owner even has a few dishes just for the little ones. We enjoyed the patio that has a nice view of the ocean. There are turtles that show up seemingly every night right off the complex's beach - wow. The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars was that we were there when the weather was very hot and, coming from a very mild climate, wished the A/C could have cooled the condo better. There is a good A/C unit in the bedroom which makes for a comfortable night sleep (the sleep number bed is very comfy too). The owner is planning to add an A/C unit to the living area which will make it perfect!
