Our stay in this property was great. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed. We had a couple issues with the internet and the toilet handle breaking and the owners were quick to respond. The unit was properly air conditioned which was also great.

This was our first time to Maui and we absolutely loved the accommodations. We felt the pictures were accurate. The location is perfect. Very close to the ocean, walking distance to shops, restaurants and coffee shops. The resort property is immaculate. Loved the pool, played pickleball. Lots of beach towels and chairs for use. We would definitely stay there again. Easy contact with host and easy check in and out. Thank you for letting us stay. Hope to be back.

Wonderful location! Property as advertised, spacious and updated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Loved being so close to the beach and having beach chairs, boogie boards, and pool noodles to use. Manager was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. Tennis courts were a bonus for my kids -- had to pay each time to use them though. Would definitely recommend staying here. We hope to return in the future!

We had a great time! Great location, easy parking. Beds were comfortable and AC worked well. Wish the Kitchen was better equipped- no large pots or grilling spatula and pans were a bit scratched up. Condo staff were not very friendly but nice amenities in the complex.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at the Purcell's condo in Kamaole Sands Resort. The condo was clean and provided a great base for our daily excursions during our visit. It is walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The only complaint that we had was on our only visit to the resort's pool area, the hot tubs were not heating. Not sure if or when the issue was fixed, but all other interactions with the resort and its staff were excellent. This property was one leg of a multi-island bucket list family vacation. Mahalo for a wonderful stay!

The condo itself was super clean, spacious and worked perfectly for four adults. Great, central location that allowed us to literally see every corner of Maui! The communication and check-in process was great. The beds were adequate. The kitchen is nice. It was convenient to have a washer and dryer. The pool area is way nicer than the pictures let on and the gym had a great variety of weights and machines. On the downside, both bathroom floors weren’t too clean as there was hair left on both floors. The beach equipment is pretty beat up too but it’s better than nothing. Overall good place and good location.

Quiet top floor in corner. Beautiful, spacious kitchen and master. Entire home is updated so tastefully. Has just about everything you'd need to cook for a family and to pack a picnic. Breezy and cool. We didn't have to run the a/c unless the trades weren't blowing. We found beach equipment in closet which was a nice bonus. Owners were responsive to our emails and questions.

This condo had everything we needed for our stay and I have absolutely nothing but good things to say! What you get for your money staying here is amazing! Swimming pool, 2 hot tubs, a children's wading pool, gym, many propane BBQs around the facility for your use. It is walking distance to beach, and the owners have chairs, coolers, towels, bougie boards and sand toys that you may borrow, so you don't have to pack those things or buy them when you are here. Woke and drank our coffee on the patio while gazing at the ocean! The condo has many ductless A/C units and ceiling fans throughout. There is so much shopping and food nearby, you could walk everywhere. Check in and check out were a breeze. Everyone at the facility was nice and happy to answer any questions we had. They even offered suggestions for things to do during our stay. We really felt like very welcomed guests! Will definitely be staying here again the next time Maui calls my name!!!

Kamaole Sands was very well located, and it was fabulous to be just across the road from Kamaole beaches I and II. The condo was clean and spacious with a lovely, well appointed kitchen. It was great to not hear any main road traffic noise and our beds were very comfortable. The water filter on the refrigerator was also appreciated.

The location is prime and in walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shops and local transportation. This is a nice sized condo for a small family. It also has 2 AC units which is helpful at night. Down side is upon our arrival I noticed ants in the bathroom and the kitchen but couldn't initially locate bug spray so we dealt with those for three days. I reached out to the owner to see if there was any bug spray at the location and finally able to locate some. The bedroom carpet needs a cleaning as there were dead bugs near some of the furniture and hinestly seemed dirty.

We stayed for a week in March 2022. The condo is extremely clean and well stocked with everything you need for your stay. The beds were comfortable and the open floor plan was great for the family.
The resort is beautiful and we enjoyed our nightly walks to the beach across the street to watch the sunset.
The location was fantastic, as we had booked a whale watching tour that left from the dock 2 minutes away, and we were close to other beaches for surfing and diving.
The hosts were timely with their communication and gave all the details needed for a quick check-in. Would definitely stay here again!

The property was great in so many ways- location (one block from the Kamahole Sands beach and park), space (newly renovated, clean and great layout with the loft), and we’ll stocked (chairs, coolers, boogie board). Close to shops in Kihei and Wailea. Spent time on the beach, and short drive or nice walk to many of the restaurants, Safeway and farmers market in Kihei, and easy to get to from the airport. Can’t wait to go back to Maui!

We had a relaxing time staying at this unit. The location was good. The beach was close to the property. You just have to cross the street. The view of sunset from the beach is amazing. There are quite a lot of people during the sunset time. The house has a booklet that describes various things to do, and places/restaurants to explore around. There is a $41.67 one time resort fee that you have to pay at the time of check-in. This covers for any stay till 30 days at this property.
There is no Expedia office on the property in pool area. It has been taken over by some other company. There is no free breakfast that is offered by that company that has replaced Expedia office. The pool is smaller that what it looks like in the photo. I was expecting it to be a quite big pool but it is not. Also the pool has a slope and you wont realize when it becomes 6ft deep. We didnt end up using the pool, as I had a toddler and didnt wanted to go in a 6ft deep pool.
The unit has one car parking spot. If you have more than one car then there are few visitor parking spots, but it is quite far to walk from this unit. You can check with the reception desk if they can provide a parking spot close to your unit. They might provide you if they have availability.
From patio you get a small glimpse of the ocean but not that great, since this unit is in very back of the property. It has a good view to the mountain where Haleakala crater is located.

We truly have enjoyed our stay. The location was great and the place offered everything you would need for cooking to sand toys to coolers. We had a bit of a problem cooling off the place when we arrived but the owner was wonderful in guiding us through it. Once we figured it out the air was perfect for the rest of our stay. Would come back again. We stayed with our three children ages ranging from 18-6 years old. Wonderful time had by all.

This is a lovely, updated condo -- 1 bedroom, 1 loft with its own bath, another bath, and queen sleep sofa. The kitchen is very well appointed and well equipped. On the lanai, if you look right you see the Pacific Ocean, if you look left, the mountains. The condo complex is beautiful. You are in an easy walk to beach, restaurants, shopping etc. An unforgettable experience. Mahalo.

My children walked into the condo for the first time and said “No way! Our beds are up here? The loft and spiral staircase were a big hit. The location is right next to a great beach and driving distance to many more. The kitchen is huge and well stocked with pots and pans. We have several family members with celiacs so I like to make most of our meals. The large kitchen island was nice so everyone could help out with the meal prep. We saved a ton on cost of food. It’s really not as expensive in the grocery store as we thought it would be - although milk products are pricey. The Percells sent us a list of local recommendations that turned out to be good tips. The concierge at the pool was also helpful to schedule a few of our outings. (Highly recommend booking most of your excursions before you come though. As of July, not everything had opened back up so most things were sold out when we tried to book the week we were here.)
It was great to have coolers to use on our day trip to Hana and gear for snorkeling and boarding on the beach. The WiFi was good and TVs with Netflix in every bedroom were appreciated when we needed some down time. We left the windows open at night and the breeze coming in felt like we were sleeping on the beach. There were a few times in the afternoons when temperatures were above 90 outside we needed to use the AC. The AC and room fans quickly cooled things down. I would definitely stay here again.

This was our 2nd time staying at Kamole Sands. This condo was perfect. Honestly the best part was that it was cool when we returned from a day at the beach or pool. We brought our fire stick to watch movies at night and the kitchen was great for cooking breakfast and lunches. It was very clean.

Super well equipped remodeled Maui condo. Picked it for walking distance to great beach, newer/updated finishes and AC in main and loft level. Knocked the ball out of the park on all 3 counts. We had stayed in a similar condo 5 years ago but older and without AC in the loft. You don’t often need it in Maui, but when you do need it, it’s a life saver as these units all have lifts for the second bedroom which can get really warm. This one was split AC which I loved for the environmental friendliness too. We rarely used it, as the breezes were fantastic (all have screen door so you can get a great cross breeze going). This condo also has fantastic ceiling fans plus floor fans too.
Kitchen is superbly finished so you don’t have to eat out all the time. Love that there were good stock of spices and oil. Barbecues are easy access too.
Great supply of beach chairs and boogie boards as well as beach towels. Nice washer and dryer. Super close to some great location restaurants for families (Fred’s Mexican and Pizza)

The location in the complex was perfect- tucked away in the quiet upper corner with really no noise from either the pool area or the main road . Very good location with access to amenities and other sights on the island. The walk across S. Kihei Road to the beaches at this location is easy because the traffic dissipates as you go south. On arrival the unit was still in need of some cleaning. The pool and barbecue areas are well used and well maintained; a great place to meet other visitors; mostly Canadians. Cockroaches were abundant but there was an ample supply of traps and spray to help with keeping them down. An average mid range property.

This was a great condo for my family which included my husband and me, my two teenage children, and my adult niece. We had plenty of room and slept well. The unit is very quiet and comfortable.
The pool area is great, and the beach across from the Kamaole Sands was wonderful! We saw lots of large sea turtles while snorkeling there.
We had a great trip to Maui and would love to visit your condo again soon!

While this unit is in one of the outer buildings and has the small style lanai it is nevertheless well equiped and furnished. The owners obviously care and have put their own stamp on the unit in terms of finishing. Communication is also great from the owner - in terms of suggestions and organization and we enjoyed our stay. Our extended family rented 4 different units in Kamaole Sands this Christmas and this one had the best finishings.

My girlfriends and I loved staying at this condo! The location is so convenient and walking distance to the beach. The only thing I would recommend is to upgrade the TV in the living room! It got a bit fuzzy at times. Other than that, everything was amazing...not to mention, very clean! Rich was also amazing in helping us coordinate our booking and he was very prompt in responding to my gazillion questions! Thank you Rich! Definitely recommending this to all my friends that visit Hawaii and we'll be coming back for sure too! Thank you for making our vacation so memorable!

Best vacation ever! I took my two daughters, son-in-law, and two granddaughters to Maui. This condo is beautiful and in a perfect location! Top floor with a view of the ocean from the balcony and right across from the beach. King bed downstairs and two twin beds in the loft were all very comfortable. Nicely decorated with all the amenities you need. I felt like I was at home! There were sand chairs, toys, beach towels and even boogie boards to use. The pool on the property is gorgeous and they have a kiddie pool that is only two feet deep.The owners were very nice and went out of their way to make you feel welcome. They put together a wonderful travel packet and mailed it before you arrived so you would know what to expect when you landed. Also great tips of where to visit and eat. There are a few shops and restaurants within walking distance and you can also book tours right at Kamole Sands. I would stay here again and will recommend to my friends and relatives. ALOHA!

Our 2BR/2 Bath Condo was perfect for our family group of 6. Kamaole Sands resort itself offers beautiful grounds & quiet evenings. The hot tubs at the pool complex add a touch of luxury, much appreciated at the end of a day by the ocean. Free parking (1 stall) is also a perk not available at some resorts. The top quality BBQs throughout the complex, again add to the ease of cooking lovely meals in a condo setting. Our 2 bedroom condo offered a lot of space and added to the ease of enjoying our 4 week family vacation. Being in a safe environment with security personnel alert to any needs is also important. Our condo was very well equipped to meet every need, beds were new & high quality & we enjoyed the art work/furnishings & the feel of the open-beam design. Proximity to multiple beaches is terrific...as well as the opportunity to beach- walk from Kamaole Sands to all of the Wailea beaches.The Kehei/Wailea area, we feel, is particularly tourist friendly with available parking at all beaches as required & the general beauty of the landscaping is noteworthy. Boat trips from the Kehei Boat Ramp are 5min. away for whale watching or snorkelling.This was our 4th. visit & we will be back again next year ... there is nothing to beat this location for the fees quoted.We love the MAUI VIBE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sunsets from Kam 3 Beach are also amazing.

We rented this condo for our adult children who came to attend our wedding. The space was more than enough for 4 and had everything that they needed. The only issue that they had was that the cleaning person called early on departure day and when my daughter told her that they would be out by the 10 am check out she arrived around 9:40 and just walked into the unit. She did leave and come back but they were already feeling rushed to be out on time. All of the other units that we rented had an 11 am check out. Just something to consider otherwise the unit was perfect and we would definitely come back to this unit or others at this complex.

This was the perfect unit for us since the queen bed was in the downstairs (and more private) bedroom and our toddler needed a quite place to sleep early while the others were still up. Older kids loved the twin beds in the loft bedroom.
Unit was very clean, with fully stocked kitchen (including condiments and misc. items like foil and sandwich bags). We also made good use of the beach gear for the kids including sand toys, multiple boogie boards, and ice chest with wheels.
Beach across the street was nice and we were able to walk to a few restaurants and the general store for supplies like milk, juice and pre-requisite macadamia nuts..mmm.
Recently remodeled dowstairs bath was also very classy and stylish.
Owner was very pleasant and friendly. I would recommend this place for anyone especially with family. Our toddler was used to climbing stairs in our 2 story home but that is something to keep in mind due to the open spiral staircase to the loft.
