The Terraces F102 was so lovely.... nicely decorated, spacious, right on the pond, sounds, smells, and small view of the ocean from the spacious lanai, access to pool and ocean just a 5 minute walk, as well as easy walk to The Mauna Lani Beach Club one direction down the beach and the hotel the other, right next door. The owner was very kind and responsive. I adored my time here and plan to come again!

This condo met all my needs for an easy, truly enjoyable Hawaiian vacation! It's the best location I've found in years of visiting the Kohala coast: five minute walk to a sheltered beach cove with spectacular snorkeling; 12 minute drive to Hapuna Beach state park for waves and boogie boarding, restaurants within easy walking distance, grocery store and shops a 5 minute drive. The condos feel private and luxurious with grounds containing beautiful plants and birdlife. They are set back from the ocean but with no buildings or road in between - you feel like you have an expanse of beauty in front of you. There is a landscaped lagoon that reaches the lanai and in the distance palm trees and ocean. The condos are adjacent to ancient Hawaiian fish ponds and these are fascinating for observing birds and fishes. I took a number of scenic walks and there are places for biking too.
I was able to easily speak with the owner and he was always gracious and helpful.
In sum, I loved my experience in F102. It is well away from the hustle/bustle of the hotels and yet offers better amenities for a much better price. Highly recommended.

The Mauna Lani Terraces are perfectly situated on the ocean, with prime swimming and walking to the north and south. This unit is welcoming, comfortable and well appointed. It boasts two master suites, a washer and dryer, living room, dining room, and kitchen that let out onto the lanai where we spent many hours. The host, Daniel Crowe, is gracious and easy to work with. A property manager is available in case of problems.
It's a joy to get here and hard to leave. We've stayed here a couple of times and hope to return for many more visits.

Every detail is well-thought out in this place — the linens are great, the beds are comfy, the kitchen is well-stocked, even the closet with books and games has lots of great choices.
We loved staying here, it was easy to walk to the beach (or drive) easy to get to the pool or to the hotel nearby. Super comfortable and the manager was very responsive. Would love to stay again.

The condo was a good fit for two couples traveling together. Each bedroom had it's own private bath and an additional powder room. The condo is comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai..it was quiet and private. Lots of extra bath towels and nice big beach towels. The washer and dryer is a nice feature. The kitchen is, as others have already mentioned, very well stocked. Most dishes and glassware don't match though. Super ice maker!! The condo parking lot has a nice view of Mauna Kea and is beautiful at sunrise (February). The condo overlooks the natural fish pond and there is not an ocean view, but we knew that going in. The only drawback for us, and it was our own fault for not asking, was that from the photos the condo appears to be a ground floor condo, but it's not...there is a set of stairs down, a landing and then another set of stairs. All of us at 65+ the luggage hauling was a bit much! Daniel is a super host! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

Very comfortable and nicely appointed condo unit with two owner's suites and 2.5 bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable. Sitting on the lanai any time of day and looking toward the ocean was a favorite pastime. Guests have access to a gorgeous and private pool, beautiful beaches on either side of the Mauni Lani Terrace property, and miles of favorite walks.
Daniel Crowe is a landlord who is a pleasure to work with. We look forward to returning next January.

The big island has so much to offer, but if you are looking for a place to truly relax you can't really go wrong with this place. We were very busy with other scheduled events (conference, snorkeling, etc) that unfortunately we did not have enough time to truly enjoy this well-maintained and outfitted condo, however, without hesitation it is easy to recommend this location.

Over the years, we've stayed in many units throughout Mauna Lani Terraces, and Daniel's property is the best we've visited thus far. It's true that there's not quite as much of an ocean view, but this comes with advantage of a great sense of privacy and peace. In addition, the unit is clean and wonderfully furnished, and had everything that our group of 4 needed for our stay. We'd gladly stay here again on our next trip. Mahalo!

Awesome condo. Great location, easy access to golf, beach, beach club, and hotel restaurants. Condo was extensively outfitted with all the gadgets you would want in the kitchen. Nice to have a walk in shower in the second bedroom.

The decor is gorgeous and super clean. The condo is fully stocked with anything you need whether for the beach, to cook, or to read a good book (there are a bunch of books). The lower level location is peaceful and quiet overlooking the fish pond. Danny, the owner, was very responsive and helpful. Just a beautiful condo in a perfect location at the Terraces.

The Mauna Lani Terraces are always a wonderful place to unwind. They have walking access to the beach club (providing some of the best snorkeling on the Kohala coast) but never feel crowded, and the sunsets are incredible.
Danny's rental has great views across the water feature and easy access to the pool/BBQ area. We've stayed in four different condos at the terraces. His unit was the best maintained and cleanest. The showers and kitchen area have been upgraded. The beds and furniture were all cozy. He was super-responsive to inquiries.
The 2-bedroom unit is great for families of four (including with older teens/younger college students) or two families of two.
We look forward to returning.

We had a wonderful stay at this perfectly situation condo on the Big Island! The property and amenities were great for our family. We arrived before Christmas and stayed through the holiday. Having the ability to cook and grill at the Terrace BBQ made us feel right at home, and the condo's lanai was so comfortable! We can't say enough good things about this place and can't wait to return!

This place had everything we needed. Beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, inflatables, and snorkel gear all included.
The unit itself was clean, well stocked with towels and anything you could think of for the stay. Very calm and peaceful, easy walk to the private club beach.

We usually stay at the Mauna Lani Hotel, but decided to try a condo rental this time. We should have done this a long time ago! What a wonderful place they have here. The condo was perfect for us and the pictures just don't really capture how nice the inside is and very roomy. I love all the wood! Bedrooms were comfortable, bathrooms were nice, kids loved their huge shower! The decor was calming and made us feel relaxed the minute we walked in. I have a teenager and 2 college age and they loved the location and having a kitchen and deck to sit and eat outside. Having a place to do laundry was wonderful too, beats being in a hotel any day. The walking trails around the fishponds and beaches were fantastic. It was super easy for us to go to the beach and run back to the condo when we were hungry or needed some downtime. My kids requested that we go back to the same place next time and are bragging about their stay to the rest of the family as I write this. You can't go wrong with this place.

The condo is beautifully appointed and exceeded our expectations. Much prettier and more high end than the photo's depict. A lovely, peaceful setting for a relaxing getaway. Do not think twice about booking this condo if you are looking for a tranquil experience. Why would anyone spend more on a basic hotel room per night than this amazing 1400 square foot home with 2 master bedrooms (full bathrooms each and a powder room as a bonus) and a perfectly stocked kitchen? We can't wait to return. Thank you for a much needed vacation getaway!

Our daughter, her husband and our 2 granddaughters had a lovely time and actually wanted to stay longer, but unfortunately the unit would soon have new renters. The regular cleaning gal wasn't able to clean the unit, a substitute was arranged for, but there were things like dirty dishes in the cupboard, and the guest bathroom was not particularly clean. Otherwise it's a lovely unit nicely appointed.

The tranquility here is magical. Embrace the Aloha spirit and enjoy life on a different level. You have all the comforts of a well stocked kitchen if needed but you have access to so many restaurants on the resort and next door at the Fairmont Orchid. After playing in the ocean or site seeing it is so comforting to go back "home". You will never want to stay in a hotel room after this experience. We cannot wait to return, even my teen age son loved it! B Nelson

Our expectations were exceeded as we entered Danny's lovely condo overlooking the ancient fish ponds on the Mauna Lani grounds. It is beautifully designed and was exceptionally clean when we arrived. The high ceilings make this space feel so airy and roomy, it was a joy spending time there. With only a 10 minute walk to the beach club, we were able to take our grand daughters there every day without trouble. It's also only a 5-10 minute walk to the Mauna Lani resort where we indulged on our Thanksgiving feast. We love the Mauna Lani grounds and the location of this condo is superb. Overlooking the fish ponds protects you from the harsh sun and sometimes windy days of this island. This was a perfect location to venture off to Hawi (which we loved) and to Kona for more fun destinations. Overall our trip could not have been better. We loved working with Danny, who is extremely responsive and kind and we are grateful for the opportunity to stay at his beautiful, cozy home. This was such a memorable vacation for us and we can't wait to return. Mahalo!

Condo was clean when we arrived. There was lots of room for the four of us. The homeowner called after we arrived to make sure everything was good which was appreciated. Kitchen was well supplied with pots and pans and dishes and cleaning materials. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

Great rental at an affordable price. The unit was very well stocked for our stay which was very helpful. Very nice kitchen and condo is well kept and in good condition. Easy walk to beach club. We have two young children and the beach club was perfect for them but there are a lot of rules at the complex pool which we felt were not very accommodating for kids such as no loud noise and diaper age children not being allowed in the regular size pool. Otherwise great stay and would book it again.

Everything about renting this condo was top notch. The owner went out of his way to make sure our 11 night stay was perfect. The condo was thoroughly stocked with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, furnishings were nice and the kitchen was equipped with the necessities and then some. The location of the condo was great. There was a short walk to the bbq/pool which we used a few times. Beautiful walk to the beach. Wonderful snorkeling right at the property. I highly recommend this condo for a family or couples traveling together or for anyone wanting to relax and enjoy a peaceful, beautiful vacation. Great experience!
