It was our second time at this condo. I like the location of shores of Maui and we had a direct view to the ocean. The condo was clean and very comfortable. We would like to come again.

Overall a great location. You're close to the beach, food and shops, you can view the ocean from both balcony's, nice pool with built in hot tub and a middle point for traveling the island. This part was great about the place, and also to note the host did have a bunch of toys and games to play at the beach, pool and pickleball courts.
When we arrived, there was ants on the counter due to it not being wiped down, mold growing on the shower grout, as well as a disgusting smell from the washing machine due to the very obvious mold in it (which we spent our own money and 3+hrs to clean as we were here for 2wks so we needed to do laundry multiple times with 4 people), light in the fridge didn't work, ice machine was jammed (and continually jammed throughout or weeks here) from being so hot in the place. The neighbor in the condos across from the unit (not part of the shores) is very rude, disrespectful and constantly staring at you and telling you to 'shut up'; to the point she walked onto our premise to yell at us, in which Chris (the shores property manager)

We had a wonderful two weeks in this condo!
The property was just as it appeared in the listings. There were four of us (my wife, our daughter, her husband, and me), and it was the perfect size for us to spend time both together and apart. The location was absolutely ideal for both walking to beaches and shops nearby and for short drives to other places we wanted to go.
We had only one problem (interent), and that was quickly dealt with, first by the property manager, and when he couldn't fix it, they had someone from the internet company come in the next day.
We used the kitchen for most of our meals, and although it is a little on the small side, that wasn't an issue. Almost everything we needed was there, though we did end up buying a cookie sheet and leaving it there. Otherwise, it was very well stocked.
We also used the barbecues (which were very clean every day), the pool, and the hot tub. Awesome!
We didn't keep the AC on all the time, but when we needed it, it was a huge help. The cross-breeze by having both doors open also helped a lot in the evening to keep the heat down.
All in all, it was a terrific place, and we would gladly return. Thank-you, Lisa!

Pool was a huge hit with teens.
Lanais were great! Spent much quality time on the rear one watching the surf & the pool.
Location was fantastic! We went west, east & north! All within great driving distance. We went to Lahaina, went to the summit of Haleakala for the sunset, drove the Hana highway through the rainforest. Wonderful time!
Walmart near airport, easily accessible.
Central Air was a blessing. Netflix was a hit as well.

Our family of 6 adults truly loved our stay at this condo. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are very comfortable, the place had everything we needed to cook and enjoy our meals on the spacious lanai. The beach chairs, cooler, ice packs, towels, boogie boards, etc. were all so great to have, making our beach trips more enjoyable. The place is also across from a beach area that is perfect for learning how to surf! There are lots of restaurants nearby and also a grocery store! Awesome location! Lisa, the owner, was really quick to respond to any questions we had before and during the trip which was very comforting! Would definitely recommend and stay at this place again!

Not the newest but very acceptable location and it worked out great for us as home base for our week. Plenty of parking and a short walk across the street to the ocean and parks. We used the grills (very nice new gas grills) and the pool during our stay. Would definitely return next trip to the islands.

Loved the view of the beach from the lanai. The beach being right across the street was so convenient for sunset watching. Hot tub after a day snorkeling and hiking was a big plus. Everything we needed was here for a pleasant home away from home.

The property was very much as promoted, and our stay was good. A few things kept it from being great: The beds are not the most comfy (sorry). There were tiny ants on the dresser drawer when we checked in. I know - it's Hawaii - but still, we noticed them in various places (and we did not have food in these locations!). The 2nd floor is great for views, but also a ways to go to carry heavy luggage. Keep that in mind if you rent the upper floor units. Location is a block from the beach, a block from food, a few more blocks from shopping. It's a pretty busy area though.

Condo was less than clean but the lanais and location were great. We appreciated all the beach items that were available for us to use. Bathrooms were ok but little touches like a cloth shower curtain instead of plastic would certainly be a nice. New refrigerator was awesome but the stove hood was gross as well as the lid to the trash can as the baseboards.

I've stayed at several vrbo's.. from Mexico to Bahamas... this was the worst for cleanliness and overall condition of the condo. The video and pictures of this condo looked amazing .. and I read all of the 5star reviews. But the people gave it 5 stars for the location .. not the condition. We believe the sheets were not changed when we arrived. There were stains on the sheets .. including a long black hair on my pillow. Cockroaches in the condo daily .. green mold on the shower head.. stained towels .. beach towels stained with holes in them... several broke cupboards in the kitchen .. broken bottom of dishwasher.. several lights didn't work including over the stove... my husband had to fix the sliding patio door otherwise wouldn't have been able to enjoy the lanai. Also the owner warned us to add water to a container on top of the dryer so it doesn't over heat. My husband removed the container to fill it.. and we almost vomitted. It hadn't been cleaned in years. There was thick dust everywhere .. on the light switches, tables etc Many things in this condo needed severe upgrades. If it wasn't for the location to the best restaurants and beaches, I would've asked for my money back.

We were happy about having three beds available considering we had 6 family members. Also the playpen and high chair were fantastic to have for my 16 month old granddaughter. The location was good, we were able to walk to a few places and there was a really good beach (Charley Young) and a wonderful park with a lot of picnic tables nearby. Nice to have the use of a washer and dryer and we really enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

My friends and I enjoyed a week long stay at Lisa's condo. The condo is homey and beautiful decorated. We where out most of the days, so it was mostly a rest area, and rest we did. We received a compliment at check out from the downstairs neighbors that they often wondered if were where there as we made no noise, but they saw us taking selfies on the balcony and new the condo was occupied.
My feedback to Lisa, is the be polite to her costumers in correspondence. I did not receive the check instructions and when I reached out to Lisa on the day of arrival, she insisted on having sent it. She proceeded to resend the welcome email without instructions and when I reached out again, the tone of the email response was again impolite, it was also most as if I was bothering her. While am pretty tech savvy, there was never checking instructions attached to the first two emails she sent, I had two other people verify this. This is honest feedback and not criticism. Once we got the check instructions. The rest of our trip was marvelous. I would highly recommend Lisas condo and would most definitely stay again

We had a great time here. We stayed for five days while exploring the Kihei area. The condo was very comfortable and clean, with two spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms, the living room leads out to a balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. We were thrilled to be staying in the perfect location, so nice to be able to leave the car in the parking lot and walk to nearby cafes and beaches in Kihei. We would definitely stay at Lisa’s condo again! Lisa was very responsive, and check in/out was a breeze. Mahalo for a wonderful time on island!

The location of this condo is perfection. The building is small and not crowded at all. The unit is very nice size for 5 of us. The furniture/linens could use updating but that is my only criticism. The owner was amazing with communication. We would stay here again and miss it already.

Pros : Location is brilliant! Opposite the beach, walking distance to restaurants, supermarket, roller skating, playground, bars, food trucks. All tours will pick up and drop off from the location. Condo is well equipped with all that you need including spare linen, plenty of beach towels, beach toys, chairs etc. Condo is decorated really lovely with ocean themes and cute little touches everywhere. Was big enough for the 6 adults who stayed. Loved the pool and spa - watching the glorious sunset from the spa was amazing. Showers didn't run out of hot water, washing machine and dryer were awesome. Highly recommend, would stay again in a heartbeat. Super friendly host too, with good communications.

I know everyone thinks their condo is the best in the complex.... but this one really IS the best in the complex! It's got a huge front porch (amazing for leaving boogie boards and beach toys so we didn't track sand inside) and it's got a huge back patio (amazing for relaxing in the evenings) and BOTH have gorgeous ocean views. The condo has air conditioning - which is very refreshing - and the washer/dryer were very helpful. The location is great - it was such a short walk to the beach and to the grocery store. There are so many items available - toys, snorkel masks, beach chairs and umbrellas - and the kitchen was very well stocked with anything we needed for cooking. Plus, the rooms are gigantic! The living room is spacious, the bedroom with two queen beds has plenty of space to walk around, and the front room with the king bed has so much floor space it's crazy. I was worried about noise from the road but we didn't hear a thing. This rental exceeded all of our expectations!

This is an as advertised Condo in Kihei that located directly across from a nice park and beach. The owner is easy to deal with and the unit isn't fancy but was perfect for our family trip. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two lanais, a decent galley kitchen, two TV's with Netflix access, a pool, a hot tub, and tennis courts. It is within walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants and sports shops. For us it had all the amenities needed for our budget minded family vacation and was RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FROM A BEACH!!! The shore area of this beach is small and there are better beaches close by but the area is a perfect area to swim, learn to surf, and look for turtles. Our first time to Maui and we had an AWESOME time and would recommend this unit to like minded travelers.

We had an amazing time here for 6 nights, ri guy after we spent 5 nights in West Maui at the Marriott Ocean Club. We actually enjoyed our stay here as much or maybe even more than the resort areas!
This condo was spacious enough for my husband and me, plus 4 of our 20-something adult kids. We loved being right across the street from the beach, and a very short walk from several other parks/beaches, and so many awesome restaurants!! My parents and eldest son stayed at the Wailea resort area, and ended up with us nearly every single day!
Kihei is the place to be if you want to be where you can walk to swim and snorkel each day, and eat at any of the great restaurants within minutes.
This condo had nearly all the amenities you could want and/need for your family group or friends. We loved having coffee on the front lanai, and having the hot tub, pool, and bbq grills waiting for us after a great day swimming, snorkeling, and exploring . The condo also had plenty of beach gear & towels, and the washer dryer in the condo was huge for us! Also, the air conditioning was perfect, as we could control the temp in each room to conserve energy, turning it up only when needed.
Seeing sea turtles right in the water as we swam is an experience none of us will ever forget! Our drive up Haleakala to see a sunset will also remain with us forever! Also, only about 20 min from the airport!
If you are stressing over which area or condo unit to rent for your group, this is a great choice as there are 2 queen beds in the 2nd bedroom- nearly all of the other condo units on Maui only have two twins or one queen bed in the 2nd BR. You also can put on your bathing suit, take your snorkel gear, and walk across the street and right into the ocean! There are at least 4-5 beaches within a miles of this unit. Great place! The condo was great, well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, beautiful lanais, and the air conditioners worked VERY well when we needed them. The washer/dryer were priceless, as the five of us stayed nine days and only packed for about half that time to save room in the luggage.
Lisa was very quick to answer my messages when we needed help with things (turns out, I’m kind of dumb when it comes to TVs...) and was very accommodating all around. If we’re ever in the mood for another Maui vacation I’d absolutely stay here again!

This was our first trip back to the Shores of Maui since having kids, and we enjoyed it thoroughly. The place is a pleasant walk to the Kamaole I beach that I swear has the same large, curious sea turtle that startled me while snorkeling 14 years ago. It's also a perfect jumping off point for South Maui beaches, West Maui and a great, kid-friendly hike at Iao Valley State Park in the West Maui Mountain. The unit has everything you need, is well-maintained, and offers a nice view of the surfers at Cove Park just across the street. The pool is a great spot to take a dip and hot tub after coming in from the beach.

We have been twice to this excellent second-floor spot in Kihei. Relax on the balcony as you enjoy the beautiful view of the clouds rolling over the mountains from the ocean, the surfers on the beach, or the pool area with its inlaid tile, sea turtle design. At night you can lie on your back in the pool, on a lounge chair, or in the hot tub and watch for falling stars in the night sky between the tall palm trees. From the condo we travel around the island to see the sites such as the guided day trip around the island, the Art Museum, the Iao Valley, Paia Art Galleries, Haleakala, lovely snorkeling from the beach only a very short walk from the condo, and much more depending on your tastes for adventure, learning, shopping, or relaxation. Watch the sunset from the city park benches one block from the condo entrance on the beach road. A few more blocks and you are at the outdoor market and great dining spots. The owner provides some equipment for the beach and suggests a great place down the road to rent more if you like. You won't find many shells on the smooth sand beach, but the sea turtle population and reef snorkeling are fantastic. Get out early and reserve your spot on the beach with the condo beach chairs under the shade of a tree and dream of more vacations at this sweet condo in a tropical paradise. Cook in the condo kitchen or at the restaurants only a short stroll away. You can buy your food at the Costco near the airport, but there are plenty of nearby local shops to get more supplies, Hawaiian snow ices, or lovely tourist items to take home to your friends or to remind you of the lovely time you had at this condo in Kihei.

This condo is in a great location, walking distance to great restaurants, shopping and most importantly the fantastic beach a block or two away! The condo has everything you need for family fun! It’s quiet and comfortable. We were unable to use the BBQ’s because all 3 were being used every evening. Having a couple more would be helpful. The pool is great! There is a gap between the lanai and it’s railing which made us nervous having a toddler out there. It seems to be a larger gap than the others in view. Thank you for all of your suggestions on local activities and restaurants. We had a fabulous time and hope to return some day!

Two beaches were right across the street. Grocery store and many many restaurants were in walking distance. The unit had 2 lanais the back one was covered and had a great view of the sunset. This was our first trip to Maui and staying in Lisa's condo was great. The location is perfect; walking distance to beaches, restaurants and markets. It is a wonderful, casual area and the people are very friendly and helpful. The pool and barbecue area is wonderful. We spent the mornings on the beach and the afternoons sightseeing or at the pool. Highly recommend this condo for families.

This is the second time I have stayed at this condo on Maui, and this time I brought my parents! The condo is wonderful with everythingwe needed. Kitchen has all the necessary things to be able to make at home meals either on the stove or on the gril, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The two lanais were a perk, and we had many meals out on the front one watching the sunsets. I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone!
There is so much close by, from beaches and snorkeling, to shopping, to restaurants and more. I am a runner and loved to be able to find a variety of routes, most with stellar views. Plus, its pretty central and really not that far from any location on Maui! Highly recommend going to Kehei Cafe for breakfast at least once, stopping by the Saturday swap meet, local farmers markets for veggies and fruits, stopping by the local businesses such as 808 Clothing Company. I always try to support the local 'made in Hawaii" businesses when I am there. I can't wait to go back! Thanks Lisa!

After staying at the Shores of Maui I don't think i'll stay anywhere else in Maui. This condo has such a homey feel to it. I had two young children with me and I felt safe with them walking back and forth from the pool. Not like a big hotel where they could get lost in seconds. Both rooms are large and the beds are so comfy. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. There was plenty of beach toys/ chairs for everyone to use. This condo has the perfect location right across the street from the beach and walking distance from a 24 hour grocery store and nice restaurants (Kihei Cafe). The owner was so friendly and so easy to deal with. What you see in the pictures is definitely what you get :) a great place to stay!

I had an amazing stay at this condo! You can't beat the location, it's steps away from a beautiful beach, walking distance to the grocery store and all the shops and restaurants in Kihei! The back lanai is large and has a gorgeous view of the beach and pool and the front lanai is great for viewing Maui's breathtaking sunsets! The owner of this property is VERY easy to work with and she keeps the condo well stocked. From all the necessary kitchen utensils to anything you need to take to the beach! I will definitely book here again for my next Maui vacation....which is hopefully very SOON!! Mahalo!

The pool and hot tub was great to come back to after a day of hiking. It was walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, and a great little market place. We walked down to Three's Bar & Grill one night for happy hour and had some yummy Hawaiian Style pupus. We actually tried almost every pupu on the menu, they were 1/2 price and we were hungry. East Ocean Chinese was another good restaurant that we tried and we walked to Starbucks every morning. There is a great swimming beach right across the street from the condo. Every morning we would see paddle boarders, so it's great for that too! I will be sure to see if this one is available the next time I go to Maui and have recommended it to my family and friends as well. This was my first time booking a condo with a private owner rather than a corporation so I was a little apprehensive. Lisa was really easy to work with and helpful during the whole process. My deposit for the place was waiting for me when I returned home.

The condo is a two bedroom, two bath unit with two lanais. The unit was located for easy walking to Kehei restaurants, shops and beaches (even for my 68 year old husband). It's also an easy drive to Wailea (south), Lahaina and Kaanapali areas. Lisa and the other residents were very friendly and helpful with tips on restaurants and island activities to enjoy. Lisa has provided a very clean, well-maintained condo that is well equipped for cooking in as well as all the beach items you would want (boogie boards, towels, beach mats, ice chest, etc.) This is one of the best equipped condos we have stayed in, and I've been travelling to Hawaii for over 40 years! Even the beds were very comfortable.
Charlie Young beach, and Kams 1,2, and 3 are right there for your enjoyment, but if you choose to venture out we would recommend Airport beach (north) for snorkeling, Wailea (south, and my personal favorite) or Kaanapali (north) beaches for lounging and swimming for all ages, and Makena beach (south, and my husband and son's favorite) for the more experienced swimmer/surfer/boogie boarder.
There are many great restaurants to choose from, but we especially enjoyed breakfast at Five Palms in Kihei, lunch at Pupus in Kihei and Bubba Gumps in Lahaina, and dinner at the italian restaurant next to Foodland was excellent. You can shop for groceries at Safeway or Foodland, and both offer the discounted prices with just your home phone number.
We highly recommend the morning snorkel trip on the Lani Kai out of Ma'alaea Harbor. To be honest, we didn't see as many fish as in years past, but the 5 hours on the water is very well spent. The crew is great, there's nothing like swimming and snorkeling off the boat at Molokini and Turtle Town, and plenty of food and beverages to enjoy (including beer and mai tai's). And if you're lucky, you may get to reel in a 25 pound ono like our son did!

For 6 years my friends and family have used Lisa's condominium for our Thanksgiving vacation. Lisa has done a great job over the past couple of years updating the paint, carpet and furnishings. More and more it has started to feel like a second home for us. The location is perfect in that the condo is located in central Kihei and right across the street from the water's edge. As a runner, I like that fact that I can access neighborhood streets that feel safe and be challenged by the terrain. Lisa has been a great owner/manager to do business with. The transactions are smooth and timely. I would strongly recommend this condo!

My family just recently stayed at the Shores of Maui and we will never stay at another hotel again. everything was there that you need and a lot of room and great beds...decks were great for viewing and so close to all the great eating and local surf shops. we were only 15 minutes from 8 great beaches and swam with dolphins and turtles...AMAZING

We had a great time at the condo! It was clean and everything was in working order. The location was great, too! I hope to return to this condo next time I vacation in Maui.
