Third time staying at GC. Great spot - convenient to shopping and restaurants in the area. I love walking from GC to the hotels and along the beachfront. There is a Market on Tuesdays across the street, cute shops and delicious coffee at Akamai. Had a couple of little issues in the condo but the owner was right on it which was very much appreciated. Would definitely stay again. Thanks!

We always stay at Grand Champions when visiting Maui and have to say this is one of the best units we’ve stayed in! The golf course view is beautiful, it’s well supplied, comfortable bed and couches, and we’re looking forward to staying in this unit on our next visit!

We recently stayed at this Grand Champions condo in Maui for two weeks, and it was the perfect hub for all our activities on the island. The condo was impeccably clean, comfortable, and quiet, providing a serene escape. It was well-equipped for both poolside relaxation and beach adventures, with every detail thoughtfully considered—even the kitchen knives were sharp, which made meal prep a breeze.
One of our favorite features was the condo patio, which faced west and offered stunning views of the Pacific. It was the perfect spot to enjoy our morning coffee and, in the evenings, to watch breathtaking sunsets with a glass of wine.
The location was unbeatable. Just a few minutes' walk took us to beautiful beaches, a great walking trail, fantastic restaurants, shopping options, and the luxurious resorts and golf courses of Wailea. We loved the convenience of having everything so close by.
The condo owners are exceptional hosts, clearly taking great pride in their property. Their attention to detail and commitment to providing a wonderful experience for guests was evident throughout our stay.
Overall, this condo was an ideal base for exploring Maui and we can't wait to return. Highly recommended!

We have stayed at three other Grand Champion condos, and this one was the best-stocked, neatest, and well-supplied. Everything was stocked/provided, including beach chairs, pod laundry detergent, grilling utensils, iron and beach towels. The couches were super comfortable and well-maintained. (no wear). Great view from first-floor condo, noting not quite as expansive as the second floor, but all the same a very good view and quiet. The tvs where fine, but all truth we never even turned them on :) The Owners provide great directions as well as local restaurants and activities. We were very pleased with the unit and would return again.

First, the golf course view is breath taking. Second, the condo has very comfortable furniture that is of superior quality to that in other condos and hotels we've stayed in. Third, the condo is well stocked with everything from beach chairs/ umbrella/cooler to kitchen necessities like gadgets, coffee and storage containers. Fourth, the condo was as pictured and advertised on VRBO. Fifth, the condo was very clean when we checked in. Sixth, the owner was easy to communicate with. All positives in short.

The condo is beautiful, spacious & nicely decorated. Perfect location as you can walk to beach, restaurants & shopping. The condo has air conditioning however we never used as fan in each room. Kitchen is well appointed, has everything you need.
We will definitely stay here again. Was quiet & so relaxing.

Renovated, well positioned unit at Grand Champions. Shout out to housekeeping for cleanliness. High quality artwork with a Tommy Bahama decor. High end Brown Jordan patio furniture. Wi-fi provided along with device charger with multi-stations. Comfortable Bahama beach chairs. Foil, plastic wrap, paper towels, and ziplock storage bags provided. Abundant hangers. Beautiful tree next to lanai spotlighted at night. Two sitting areas in living room. Ceiling fans and A/C wall units.

Check in was simple. Once we arrived it felt like home, great sunlight, clean, and fresh. If there was an issue with cleanness the housekeeper left her number and would come by if needed, in our case nothing was needed. The overall layout was perfect for my wife and I, extremely roomy and honestly if you had 4 people it still had tons of space. We loved the balcony overlooking the golf course, perfect for our morning coffee and late cocktails. The property was very quiet and great for a nice walk no matter when. The bed, beach towels, chairs, umbrella and everything in the condo was perfect, no issues. The location is in walking distance to the beach, shopping, and restaurants if you don't have a car. We would recommend this location and we look forward to returning in the future... 10 out of 10!

We always stay at Grand Champions when on Maui. We’ve been in units managed by the resort as well as a number of different VRBO units. This one was probably our favorite one bedroom unit. Beautifully decorated, very clean, well equipped and everything was in great working order—that doesn’t always happen with VRBO units. Lisa and Roy provided very thorough instructions and directions before we arrived, as well. We will be back!

This was our 4th time at Wailea Grand Champions. We loved the location of this condo. Spectacular views over the golf course, sea and beautiful sunsets. The big tree in front of the Lanai gives shade during the afternoons and a lovely atmosphere at night. The condo was spotless. Beautiful master bathroom, updated, fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable sofas for reading in the afternoon breeze. Being on the ground floor the condo stays cool without needing the AC. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely try to book this condo again next time. Mahalo to the owners!

We have stayed in a number of condos in grand champions, and this was our favorite. Comfortable, light filled, great furniture and bed. Fully stocked kitchen. Lovely views. Beautiful pool and hot tub. It even has the latest edition of Maui’s best guidebook.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect (close to shops and restaurants) and the accommodations were very nice. I loved having a second bathroom! Mornings on the lanai with a cup of coffee were very peaceful and just what I needed. I would definitely stay there again.

This property sits on a golf course with beautiful views, in a great location for dining and shopping. Family friendly. My only critique would be the bathrooms could use a little updating ( re-cocking for example). My wife is super picky about cleanliness, but she enjoyed the stay all and all. Property manager was very responsive. We only had to reach out for updatedWi-Fi network. We’d definitely recommend.

What we enjoyed most about this unit was the washer/dryer, the included Beach Chairs/umbrellas, and just how quiet it is compared to staying at one of the expensive chain hotels in Wailea. Then, when you consider how expensive the traditional hotels are, you realize you made an excellent decision in staying here. The unit was clean, and included little extras like coffee filters for the coffee machine, extra pillows, clean towels, a makeup mirror, laundry cleaning pod etc.

The unit is well maintained and in a very convenient location. The air conditioners are a bit loud but they work well. We found we could leave the unit in the living room on and use the ceiling fan in the bedroom to sleep. Lots of extras like beach towels, chairs, and a cooler. The only things missing were shampoo, conditioner, and lotion - but maybe that's not as common with VRBO's?

The location of this condo was perfect for our needs. It was close enough to all the golf, but also close to downtown Kihei, Haleakala, the beaches, the resorts and plenty of restaurants. The owners clearly love sharing their home with others and we were happy to get such a great spot for our stay in Hawaii.

The upgrades that have been done in the bathrooms and kitchen are wonderful. A dresser in the double bed room would have been nice, otherwise the condo was great and the decor so lovely. Covid restrictions were still in place so it was difficult to get dinner reservations but we had a wonderful time!,

We had a great stay and would absolutely stay here again. The unit was well located (walk to the beach, Wailea restaurants/shops, step outside to watch the sunset from the golf course, central location for island excursions/drives, etc) and clean and comfortable. We loved it! Kitchen was perfectly well equipped and the complex’s pools were perfect for our 7-year old, as were the provided beach toys and boogie boards. Minor things that would have made the stay even more comfortable would be to provide more dishwashing detergent/pods (there was only one) and the bedroom could use blackout blinds as the lights from the porch lights (that are always on) from this and adjoining units shine through the blinds and make the bedroom a bit lighter than my preference for sleeping. Did not bother my wife and kid at all though. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay and found that the condo fit our needs. We have stayed at other VRBO properties in Maui, Mexico and Belize and this property is consistent with what we have come to expect. There was an issue with the internet but that was resolved quickly. It would have been nice to have a beach umbrella to go along with the beach chairs and if BBQ tools were available we were unable to locate them. Regardless, we would certainly consider renting the property again.

Enjoyed a thoroughly quiet relaxing week at your condo which was well stocked with everything we needed. It is a perfect get away and we will be back again next year. A few small comments and not at all reflective or influential of our wonderful stay which we have rated all 5 star. There is an unusual odor coming from the lower left cabinet (off the sink), and the same coming from the master bath cabinets. Thought it was coming from the wood or could be the pipes. I tucked a 'snuggle" dryer sheet in there and it seemed to get better, Also advise the housekeeping service to replace the face towels which look aged and stained, although they were washed. Otherwise, EVERYTHING was perfect.

I had the pleasure of staying at this property in September 2014. It was my first visit to Maui and I found it very easy to locate right away. I was excited to see that it is close to some really great shopping and restaurants with high end resorts less that a half mile away. You can access the beaches of the resorts and it's only a few miles from the famous "Big beach" at Makena state park, right down the road. We loved the laid back and beautiful area of Wailea that the condo is located in, with the popular town of Lahaina just about a half hour drive away on a beautiful coastal highway. Having easy access to explore the island and then the convenience of a nice and very modern kitchen, 2 large bathrooms and a washer and dryer made our stay so comfortable! We got to stay at one of the high-end resorts down the street for a couple of nights and found that we actually preferred the condo so much more! There are 2 pools and hot tubs on the property that were much less crowded and the condo is way more spacious and comfortable than the much pricier hotel room. If you like to cook or grill there are grills you can use in the pool area and a nice sized patio with an outdoor table where you can enjoy your meals. There are plenty of restaurants that are walking distance or a quick drive. I highly recommend this condo, and I plan on returning hopefully soon!

The condo had everything and more-super comfortable bed, huge lanai, air conditioning, spotlessly clean, fridge with ice and water, recently renovated kitchen and bathrooms with granite countertops. We appreciated having the beach chairs and beach towels. The best beach was Ulha which was only a stone's throw away. The golden sand and crystal blue green water surpassed any pictures we had ever seen of this area. The grounds around the condo were maintained daily. We woke up to birds chirping in the trees beside the lanai. Shopping was close by as well.
We had an excellent dinner at Cafe O' Lei. The chicken was to die for!
We will definitely be back.

My friend and I stayed right before Christmas and really enjoyed the condo. The condo was very comfortable and the new appliances in the kitchen were great. I enjoyed having coffee on the lanai and watching the morning golfers and relaxing by the pool in the evening. The beaches across the street are the best that I have visited in Maui. I would stay in this condo again.

The unit was very comfortable and very clean when we arrived. Although the complex was busy with many people staying there it was still quiet. We met many nice people around the pool. We rented a car but beaches were within walking distance as were places to dine if one didn't have a car.
We would rent this unit again.
