We stayed in this Kihei Condo for 3 nights in September 2024 and the weather were great, particularly for using the pool & hot tub. Kihei is centrally located on Maui and this unit has an ocean view. Plenty of parking on the property. The unit was not cleaned upon our arrival and the owner offered a partial refund for the inconvenience.

We stayed in the Condo in March of 2024. We are a family of 4 with 2 teenage daughters, so the loft master bedroom and second bedroom with 2 twin beds were perfect for us.
It is an older condo, but it is well maintained and furnished.
The balcony view is great, overlooking and pool and has a view of the ocean. The condo is north facing, so it stays relatively cool because it doesn't get beating sun like the condos across the courtyard do in the afternoon. We did not pay the additional charge for the A/C, and were comfortable the whole trip with using the supplied fans.
Its only a short walk to get to the beach, which was beautiful to watch the sunsets and see lots of turtles basking in the sun during the day.
Condo was well equiped with Beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards and umbrellas - everything you need for your day trips to the beach.
The only negative my daughters had, was that the wifi was a little slow.
Great condo, great communication with the owner - we would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at your lovely property with our granddaughter and her husband. The condo was in a great location and there are beautiful views from the lanai. The unit was comfortable enough although the twin beds are in terrible shape and definitely require new mattresses. The blowdryer was broken and not usable, the umbrella was not useable either as it was broken and the “ok” button on the tv remote was broken as well so we could not watch tv. I sent a message to the host about these issues, after we arrived, and did not receive a reply. These issues did not stop us from having a great vacation but I mention these details so they can be addressed for the next visitors.

The cleaners left as we were pulling up.
Besides the walk up, the property was overall a good experience. The view of the pool with oceanfront backdrop was beautiful. Plenty of kitchen utensils and extras (Beach chairs, umbrellas, etc.
Walk is not too far from Azeca Shopping Center but would recommend renting a car.
Checked in on Sunday when the office was closed but super easy to find Leslie (after office hours check in person).
Would return if in Kihei again.

Clean apartment, good pool, good location. 10 min drive to the exelent clear water beach. Close to Safeway. Not far away from Hana highway, and all other attractions. Nice breakfast view, and sunset from balcony. Beach chairs, umbrella, cooler was really nice to have.

Unit overlooks the pool. It was clean and layout worked great for our family of four. We enjoyed the property especially playing pickle ball every day.

This condo was in a great location, within a 10 minute drive to beautiful beaches and restaurants. The condo was very spacious, clean and in great condition and the owners provided beach chairs, umbrellas and pretty much anything else you would need for the beach. Communication with the owners was great and the check in and check out process could not have been easier.

Fabulous time! Loved the location, park-like grounds and pool. The sunsets from the balcony were spectacular. We used the grills at the pool and had some of our best meals with a view of the West Maui mountains. So happy we found this place!

Luna Kai's beach view is stunning with amazing sunsets *just as pictured. The condo is situated off of a quiet, secluded beach, perfect for early am strolls, afternoon beachcombing and swimming. We were very thankful after seeing several other condos that Luna Kai's property doesn't require you to take chances crossing what can be a terribly busy street, to get to the beach. *so if safety is a concern for your family, this is a good fit. Plenty of ample parking and perfect access onto property from hwy.
The unit was clean and very well appointed *with plenty of snorkel gear, sand toys and backpacking lounge chairs all neatly/cleanly stored inside the unit.
If you are extra particular about your bed and bedding, as we are, then this is the unit for you! *King size bed with foam pillow top mattress, made it easy to fall into a deep slumber at days end. *Extra blankets and sheets were included, if you frequently wash and change your sheets as we do. Their washer and dryer
were full size he front loaders that many of us have at home and can't live without.
We plan to go again next year and stay in the same unit!
We were on the 2nd level and knew there were other folks around us renting *as we would greet one another coming and going on the steps, however, the tenants are easy going, low key and never once did we hear loud music/sounds or distractions that would limit our total enjoyment of this condo at any time of day or night.
It was the perfect base for my family as we attended to our sons wedding. The Launa Kai presented well for visiting guests and the two bathrooms were perfect.
Major food stores are located within 7 minutes of the condo for picking up fresh fruits and meats for homemade meals.

Having stayed at Luana Kai on three other trips we knew the resort was excellent but this unit offers the best view and amenities we have experienced so far. Nice unit, Lani few is too notch and the owners customer service was exceptional.
We will be booking here again.

We had such a great stay at our condo in launa Kai. The beach was sandy with lots of coral but not crowded. Great for sandcastles and relaxation! The pool area was perfect lots of bbqs for our "sunset dinner club" and lots of lounge chairs and tables for eating, also bathroom facilities, sauna and hot tub, and full outdoor kitchen! The condo itself was fully equipt with everything you need for the beach. Kitchen had it all. The lanai was my favorite spot of all! Great family vacation!!

We really enjoyed our visit in this spot - far enough away so we didn't feel crowded on moonlight beach strolls, and close enough to the main drag to walk, go for a run, etc. The pool & hot tub was fantastic and laid-back, tons of beach chairs, and while it was hopping every night with people using the BBQs to cook, group dinners, etc, everything was really quiet by 10pm. The grounds were kept up really well, and our suite was immaculate with a huge amount of towels to use, beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, you name it. The kitchen also had a good assortment of dishes and gadgetry, so we weren't lacking for anything. Having restaurant recommendations and a copy of Maui Revealed in the suite (with penned in notes!) was the icing on the cake. Thanks for a great stay!

suggesting good value restaurants. The view is incredible from the lanai. (The same as on the picture) The place is quiet, perfectly well maintained and clean. The condo is fully furnished and as everything you need. I would recommand this place to everyone...

We returned with from a wonderful stay at Luana Kai. There is nothing more we could have asked for. The location was great (with a car), the people were friendly, the pool/rec area was welcoming and clean with an outdoor kitchen along with plenty of BBQS. The beds were extremely comfortable and the condo is well maintained. The owners were kind and attentive responding to requests immediately. The condo had everything we needed for the beach and outings. THANKS! we will return!

We stayed at luana Kai for 11 days and were very happy with our experience. The condo was extremely clean! Perfect layout for my family. Loved that the beach was a short walk and didn't have to cross the road to get to it. Julie was a very gracious host! Making sure we had enough garbage bags and paper towel for our visit. We had a little problem getting the wifi working, but Julie jumped on that immediately and it was fixed in no time. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to our friends and family.
