Very nice condo and stocked well of kitchen supplies. Made it easy to go to Costco for food and eat home sometimes! Lots of food choices within walking distance too! Central to drive to different beaches and activities! Love looking out the window at the water and beginner surfers. Would stay here again!

Matt was great to work with, he gave some great recommendations for restaurants, things to do and places to visit. The condo was very clean, well equipped and a great location! Lots of restaurant choices in the area. The food trucks behind the condo was so cool! Beach across the street is a little rocky, but it was very cool, we swam with 2 turtles there and it is shallow for a long way so super easy to hang out! The Lanai has the best view of a beautiful park and sunset every night you won’t miss it. I will be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Matt and Colleen's condo in Kihei. The location is fantastic- close to incredible beaches, parks, restaurants and shops. And the condo is full of resources about Maui and everything you need for living there and enjoying the place. Matt was responsive to any texts. This was a very special vacation for me, celebrating my 70th birthday and also remembering a family vacation in Kihei 51 years ago that brought that special vacation back to my mind and heart in wonderful ways. This apartment is in a central location; across from Kalama park beach. The apartment itself was clean and spacious. I rated it 4 stars due to the shower stopper in the hall bathroom being corroded in place. This prevented me from being able to use the bathtub. I had been looking forward to bath after our flight. Now, were we were given notification that the bathrooms were going to be given maintenance work the week after our stay so, this issue may no longer be valid. Otherwise, the place was immaculate. There are beach towels in both closets with umbrellas and chairs for 2 in the guest bedroom closet. We used one of the umbrellas on a beach excursion and it was fine for the both of us. There some grocery items in the refrigerator that were usable along with items like olive oil and some spices in the cupboard so, one could easily buy some basic groceries and be comfortable. There are 2 stair cases plus an elevator in this building which is good as this unit is up a few floors. There is a rinse off in the parking lot which is needed if you decide to walk the beach across the street. after we left here and got to Oahu, we missed this pace immediately and longed for a spacious apartment and lanai!

It was our first time going to Maui & first time renting a condo on vacation. This was truly the most perfect home away from home. Having all the time extra amenities from home unlike a hotel was just incredible. We loved all the extra beach gear available too, made the beach days even better. Every morning & evening soaking in the most beautiful views of the water from the lanai & watching the surfers every morning was a true highlight. We just loved the Kihei area, with a gorgeous beach across the street & so many great shops, restaurants & cafes all within walking distance only minutes away. Truly was the most amazing experience, we can't wait to see Maui again one day & will most definitely be returning to this lovely condo, a true piece of paradise.

We loved our stay at this condo because of its convenient location and the beautiful views! It had everything we needed, including beach towels, a couple coolers and some other beach gear we didn’t use. We particularly enjoyed relaxing on the balcony after a long day of seeing the sights on the island. We never had any trouble parking, and we were always just a short walk from coffee or food. We would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Matt and Colleen’s condo in Kihei. The location was perfect. So easy to walk to many restaurants and shops and a nice ocean view on the shaded lanai. Great for watching the surfers in the morning when jet lag has you up at the crack of dawn. The condo is well-stocked with anything that you might need during your stay. Beach towels and chairs, coolers, boogie boards, and all the kitchen essentials. We really appreciated the sliding doors on the lanai that kept out most street noise. Parking was easy in the lot behind the building; we never had trouble getting a spot. The condo building itself is older but well-maintained. Elevators are quick and we almost never had to wait for one. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Matt and Colleen for sharing your Kihei home!

Matt's place is well kept, clean and well stocked with kitchen items, beach towels, beach chairs and even beach umbrellas. The communication with Matt was great as well. Checkin and out went as seamless as can be. The location was perfect, walking distance to great restaurants, food trucks and even Foodland. We had a wonderful time in Maui thanks to Matt sharing his prized condo. Thank you again Matt.

We really enjoyed our stay! The owners thought of all our needs from beach equipment to sun screens and lotions and first aid kits. From the balcony we had a view of both the beach and mount Haleakala! Beautiful sunsets and great restaurants and shopping within walking distance.

This is the second time I have stayed at this property. We have enjoyed both times at this location. It is our favorite VRBO when staying in Maui, and my first choice when looking for a place to stay in Kihei. It's within walking distance to beaches, food trucks and a nice park with a playground for children to play. The condo is well maintained and clean. Our family had a wonderful time, and we hope to stay again in the future!

We had a group of four people and we all very much enjoyed our stay. The place is spacious and very well stocked, with comfy beds. The location is unbeatable - close to many restaurants, shops, and short walk to beaches. We spent many mornings and nights on the balcony playing cards and enjoying the beautiful view. Matt is also a great host, he is quick to respond and even offered late checkout on our last day. Overall an amazing place with great hosts! Would definitely stay here again!

We've stayed at Matt's properties numerous times, and will continue to do so. Matt is superb to deal with, and his properties are extremely well taken care of, and well stocked with everything you need, including high quality amenities. When we haven't been able to book with Matt, we've stayed at other condos in the complex, and his are by far the best.
Check in was easy, and our stay was uneventful and enjoyable. The condo had great views and was a short walk to everything you need including the beach, restaurants, shopping and groceries. The new food truck court right behind the condo was a welcome addition with some great options. The Argentinian meat truck and Wing Kings were two standouts for us.
We'll see you next year!

This unit has a nice water view and very close walking distance to a delicious selection of food trucks and restaurants. Excellent communication with owners. We found the unit clean and stocked with pretty much everything a family would need on vacation. Great home base to explore the island. Owner has upgraded unit with a sound reducing full glass slider to take full advantage of the water view. Counter laminates, flooring, faucets, kitchen equipment, air conditioning in good condition. Beds comfortable, we slept well. Maui tap water very drinkable in our opinion. This unit rates in our book as a top VRBO well kept condo. As for any negatives - tolerable traffic noise with slider open and a bit of a weak internet signal in bedrooms. Ballpark dB sound levels of low 60's outside balcony, mid 40's inside slider closed, low 30's back bedrooms without air conditioner running. We would gladly stay at this unit again. This two bedroom, two bath unit is a clean and well-maintained central location for visitors to Maui and to Kihei in particular. The property manager is excellent and went above and beyond with rapid communication and addressing of any questions. The location is great for access to beaches, restaurants, shopping all within walking distance, which is exceptional on Maui. The pool is warm, clean and well-maintained with ample seating and grills for common use. Overall a great location and base for the best Maui has to offer.

Where do I start. We loved the place. It all started with amazing communication from Matt the owner. He was great and attentive with all my questions.
The unit was exactly as listed. Nice and clean and spacious. The view from the balcony was amazing, you could hear the ocean. The AC units were perfect for a quick cool down and while sleeping. The 2 king beds were super comfy!
Nothing negative at all to say about my stay. If you want to be in the middle of the Kihei action… this is the place to be!

My family and I had a wonderful experience and great memories in Maui in large part due to this apartment. The owned went above and beyond in stocking this home with everything we could possibly need, from snorkel and beach gear, to hygiene supplies, to to-go containers and seasonings. We really liked this property a lot. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We didn't need but 1 bedroom but 2 bathrooms comes in handy with all the prep work the wife requires. She really spreads out. So I had my own bathroom this time...yippee! All amenities you could need or think of. I especially liked the beach umbrella and the full sized Tommy Bahama folding beach chair. This is the first trip that my back isn't yelling at me to sit up.
The only hiccup was that the tv's and cable boxes weren't playing nice together but we got it figured out for the most part. Owner helpful in this matter.
Unit close (walking distance) to beaches, parks, restaurants, groceries, etc.
And full sized washer and dryer a big plus.

Our trip to Maui was amazing and the condo did not disappoint! The location was great and getting to other parts of the island was pretty easy. The extra amenities like snorkel gear and beach chairs made for an unforgettable snorkeling experience with sea turtles just a couple miles down the road from the condo at one of the recommended beaches listed in the guest book. We had an amazing time here. It is fully stocked with everything you’ll need for your stay, along with recommendations for nearby beaches and restaurants. The location was amazing, with several great restaurants around and a great beach/park across the street. The condo is very quiet and has a balcony with a patio set to enjoy the scenery. We loved having coffee out on the balcony and watching the surfers every morning. The owner was very helpful and communicative and even helped check us in a bit early after an unexpected early arrival. We would come stay here again in a heartbeat.

Our stay was fabulous!!! Everything was as described or better. Matt & Colleen have made such a welcoming condo with everything you need and MORE!!! The two (very comfortable!) king beds made traveling as two couples more enjoyable.
One of the main reasons we chose this condo was the cancellation policy. With the COVID restrictions and need to test as the last minute, we felt confident in booking. Fortunately, we got our negative results an hour before we had to leave for the airport!!!!
We started every morning sitting on the lanai, drinking coffee, watching all the activities at the surf shop and surf lessons at the park across the road. Most evenings were spent walking along the beach or having drinks on the lanai while watching the sunset. Our days were spent driving around, eating, exploring the island, eating, hiking, eating, swimming and did I mention eating 😁. There are several great restaurants within an easy walk!
We will be back (when COVID is over!)!!!!!

The owners were great and communicates well. The property was exactly as described and the location was great. A little busy in the evenings but didn’t bother us as we usually go to Ocean Beach, CA and that is much busier die a beach town. Kihei is pretty laid back overall and the condo was perfect die walking to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Our son lives going to the skatepark every day.

Everything we needed to feel at home! Well equipped and stocked for everything you would need; beach supplies (umbrella, chairs, boogie boards, noodles, and towels, cooler, etc), the beds were amazingly comfy and kitchen is amazing! Perfect location! Love the lanai and location! Will return again!
