Beautiful condo and great location. Host was very responsive. Expensive parking which may be normal in Waikiki. Only used the condo lot for two hours and it cost $20. Could be better explained in description. All in all though an amazing place to stay.

Look this is no Sheraton suite. Its a nice homely apartment that gives you that feel of being lived in and homely. The aircon was a bit noisy and some of the trim around the place was loose but overall its perfect for my wife and I. I wanted a place that provided a separate bedroom with a sofa bed in case our sleep patters were funked up. A kitchen that is a good size with everything you need to to either stay in or the basics for quick up and go - coffee machine, kettle, fridge pots and pans etc.
The position was great for everything, especially as this was our first trip to Hawaii.
Overall it was excellent for us. A place to come home to after a big day out being tourists. Close to anything you need.
Happy to recommend and hopefully revisit in the future.

The Ilikai Marina is a great location to stay if you are new to the island. Walking distance to Ala Moana and Waikiki strip. Fireworks at the lagoon are just a 5 minute walk and all the food in the area is amazing. Parking is pretty cheap compared to most hotels and the kitchen is great!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Jack is a great host to deal with. Great communication, very accommodating and generous. Check in was easy. Location is convenient and cleanliness is important to us. Extras were nice - beach gear (chairs/umbrella/floater etc), cooler/ice packs, new toiletry items, clothes detergent, some pantry item for cooking and all the necessities were supplied. Little thoughtful things like the rolling shopping cart came in handy. Car seat and playpen in the closet if you have little ones. Layout of suite made it feel spacious. Clever positioning of doors & sliding door allowed us all some privacy when we needed. Lots of natural lightning and clear unobstructed views of the marina and ocean. Can see the fireworks from the Lanai. We would definitely book again.

We had a nice visit in Honolulu at Jack’s condo. He was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The location is really nice. We walked down to the Hilton Lagoon a few times and enjoyed several local restaurants within walking distance. The unit was nice and cool and there were some extra items to use that we appreciated, including some beach accessories and extra blankets and towels. The sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable and the kitchen could really use a better deep cleaning.

We enjoyed our 2 week stay at Jack's place. The location was perfect for us. We could go to the busy Waikiki beaches area or the local Ana Moana beaches area. We could walk to either or catch the bus with a HOLO card. The condo was comfortable for us and we loved the full kitchen. We bought groceries from nearby Foodland and prepared some of our meals. The nearby ABC was very convenient too. The Harbour Pub downstairs offered the best and cheapest happy hour with delicious pizzas. It was great overlooking the marina with distant ocean views. Great vantage point for the Friday night fireworks too. We would stay here again.

We absolutely love the host, Jack is responsive and lovely to deal with. The suite has an amazing view and had everything we needed for our beach vacation as a family of 3 (me, my husband and 1.5 year old)

Child accessories (stroller, car seat, pack and play crib!)
Location is fantastic - we walked to ala Moana mall, magic islands, Waikiki downtown and lagoon!
New carpet is so soft, new sheets on the bed!
Efficient air conditioning!
Check out and check in were just so easy!
Sliding wall was cool to open up between the living space and bedroom so we could be all together or have some separation once my son went to sleep in the bedroom.
TV had lots of options when we needed some screen time.
Loved all the cleaning supplies.
Some recommendations if you’re bringing a little one here:
Find a high chair or solution for that.
Bring/buy a mattress and crib sheet for the pack and play.
Bring beach toys !
We brought our own baby bowl and spoon and water bottle.
Really great place to stay if you’re looking for a home base for your vacation. Views in the morning of the marina were beautiful.
My husband also does not love being high-up so this lower level suite was perfect for us!

The location, convenient parking, and view was great. But the conditions of the bathroom and the building was average. The building is old and there were roaches. Maybe that's to be expected in Hawaii in an old building, but I personally couldn't sleep. Also, our water was turned off for nearby construction without notice so 3 of us didn't get showers one morning. I guess that wouldn't be a common occurrence, but the lack of notification was a problem. Parking was convenient but confusing, and the cost was $28/day, not the $23/day in the listing.

This is the Ilikai Marina dont mistake it for the regular Ilikai. Place was clean. New carpet. Its an older building but most are around here. Would consider staying again.

A wonderful stay with my husband and our twin 3 year olds! The condo had everything that we needed for a 7 day stay and the beach equipment provided such as towels, mats, umbrella and even toys for the kids meant that we didn't have to bring/buy our own. It was super easy to get around Waikiki and surrounding; either by car or on foot and we especially liked how it was close to Ala Moana Shopping Centre. Lovely view of the Marina and a short walking distance to the The Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon which my kids loved! Thank you Jack for being so hospitable and allowing us to stay at your condo!

Location, location, location. Nice view of the marina, five minute walk to the beach, and within walking distance to just about anywhere in Waikiki. Spacious rooms, very comfortable queen bed. Could use a coat of paint and some updates in the bathroom but met all of our needs nicely. Would recommend and would return.

Thank you for an amazing time (6 nights) we spent at your beautiful place. Thank you for your kindness, hospitality, and warm hearts. It meant a lot for us, we felt like home!! The apartment is excellent, modern, clean and as described. I love the hawaiian decor. The balcony with gorgeous marina view is a bonus for both day and evening. Friday night fireworks are amazing from the balcony. The apartment is very conveniently located close to the beach, with great restaurants nearby, shops, and local supermarkets. Also adjacent parking (ilikai marina $28 per day) is a big bonus if you have a car. Park on 4th floor and you are right next to the condo entrance. 8th floor paid laundry room is also great and very convenient. Thank you Jack for everything. We will come back anytime and recommend this place to all our friends and relatives.

Our 1st time using VRBO and we were delighted with our experience. Our Host was terrific with communication through the booking and leading up to the trip. Jack's place is a nice clean unit in a wonderful location. The view from the small lanai is worth the price of admission alone. People have commented previously that the unit is dated - Hawaii is dated! If you want to stay a newer place go waste your money at the Prince, Hilton Hawaiian Village or the Ritz. We were very happy and comfortable staying in this condo for 11 nights and it felt like home. Walking distance to so many places and restaurants made having our child with us a breeze. Hint - Go buy groceries at Target at Ala Moana Shopping Center or Walmart near there as well. Grocery prices is Waikiki are elevated and options are limited.

We had a very nice 4 night stay in the condo. This is a nice condo for 2 people, and you can tell the owner has made a number of upgrades to the flooring, the kitchen and the bathroom. The bed was very comfy. I think a fresh coat of paint on a few walls and updated closet doors and this place is perfect.
I loved the view from the balcony during the day, but especially at night. The balcony is small, so I think a narrow bench on the balcony would be nice. The location is nice, easy to get to. Easy parking is attached, pay for 1, 3, 5, or 7 days and includes in and out privileges. We had no problems finding a space, even at night. The parking attendant was very friendly and helpful explaining what we needed to do when we arrived.
Unit had nice beach towels, beach mat, small cooler, floatation stuff, and a beach chair, which were all greatly appreciated during our day at Hanauma Bay!
We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We enjoyed the apartment. The location was strategic for us. The view of the marina was super! I had a couple of questions and Jack was available by phone and helpful. The one downside of the property was an unsettling smell that we noticed at first and throughout our stay. It may have come with the building.

The location and views were beautiful, we saw some lovely sunrises/ sunsets and the fireworks Friday night were an added bonus. We arrived and check in was super easy as Jack sent over all the instructions. Unfortunately we asked for a cot for our baby and when we put it up it was broken so we couldn’t use it. After messaging the host, although he did reply quickly- nothing could be done about a replacement so it just made the sleeping a bit tricky which is a real shame. The bathroom could do with a bit of tlc but everything else was great and we would definitely stay again if we visited Hawaii again

This property is at the north periphery of Waikiki and was perfect for having less people, traffic, noise, etc., but was easily within walking distance of all the things that attract people, traffic, noise, etc.
The condo is at the end of a quiet hallway - we encountered few others during our stay and we never heard anyone in the adjacent flats.
The condo is clean and modest and the owner is responsive, helpful, and pleasant.
For all of these reasons we gave it 5 stars - as well as for the value in its category.

We loved our stay at Jack's condo! It was so conveniently located in Waikiki right behind the marina. You get an ocean view even though boats are in front of you. Waikiki can be so expensive and so many places you can't see the water unless you want to spend an arm and a leg. Jack communicated very well with us and was very accommodating to our needs.

Due to the buildings age, the air conditioning was not quite adequate, but we are from the Pacific Northwest and like a cooler sleep temp., but the fans did come in handy. The hallway to the room (at the end) does not have enough light to see - very dark and drury. The Owner was very pleasant to speak to and very accommodating. We wish we didn't rent a car as it is not needed in Waikiki - very easy to walk everywhere. Thank you for the stay.

The view from the balcony was just amazing. A little small, but my mom and I are small people. The condo itself was very roomy and beautiful. The furniture was so beautiful, comfy bed, pull out bed was what all pull out beds are, and new carpeting was so thick and cozy. The shower temperature was a little weird, but not a big deal. The location being on the end was great. And an Uber fair was max $9 to get to the other end of Waikiki. The parking garage was a confusing with the pay, but all worked out. The pocket door was pretty thick to divide the bedroom and living room. Would definitely love to stay here again.

Really enjoyed staying at this condo. We have stayed at the Ilikai Marina Condos several times and Jack's place is among one of the best. Our son lives here in Waikiki and we make the trip for 11 days at least twice per year. Very clean which relaxed us - knowing that the condo was well kept made for a "no worries, just relaxing and being happy" stay! Two things that would have made our stay perfect would be more dresser space for clothes and more silverware. As I said, we stay for 11 days and come more for quality time with our son. We needed a bit more drawer space for our clothes but managed with the luggage racks that were provided. Also, we cooked at least half of our meals at home. All utensils were there but only silverware for 4 people and we needed extra serviing forks & spoons. For those who are strictly vacationing and not cooking much its just fine. Also, we packed more clothes than normal because we also go to California visiting for an additional 5 days and the extra drawer space would have been great. Everything else very good. This was the perfect place for our needs. Really centrally located for both Waikiki proper as well as slightly less touristy areas. The condo was really well equipped including beach towels, beach chairs, sun umbrella, etc. I even noticed a stroller and a car seat (not something we needed but I was impressed that they were there!) The kitchen was obviously recently remodeled and we cooked a number of times, the bathroom was very clean but a little worn with the finish coming up from the tub. Zero impact on our pleasure or experience, just worth mentioning for folks to have realistic expectations. It was really quiet and it was easy to sleep. All in all a fantastic place and really reasonable for the combination of location and amenities. We already plan to book it again in the future!

The location is very convenient and perfect to go to the Ala Moana Shopping Center and Ala Moana park. I like the location is situated at the beginning of Wakiki and not that crowded. The property has a harbor view and is beautiful. Price is very affordable. The parking is in the next building and absolutely convenient. The owner, jack, responded very quick if I have questions. For sure, I will choose to stay in the property when I go to Honolulu again.
