The owners of this unit went out of their way to answer all our questions, offer suggestions of things to do and places to eat appropriate for our age and circumstances. The unit was as advertised and in a great location for all that Wailea has to offer. The only problem we had (that the owners had absolutely no control over) related to the people staying in the unit above us. They paced the floors above our head wearing what sounded like very heavy footwear every night from 8PM to around midnight or 1AM. This made sleep very difficult. We saw these people get into their car...there were 3 adults...no children. Based on this experience, we would definitely rent a second floor unit if we came back to this complex as it did not make for a restful trip.

We loved staying in Christine’s and Colin’s condo. Beautiful, clean, very comfortable, the best Vrbo kitchen, lovely lanai with ocean view that we spent so much time on. The location is also perfect. There are so many more wonderful things about this place. Christine and Colin are kind and thoughtful hosts. We want to come back to your condo!

This is a well-maintained property with a beautiful view. Property is renovated and in great condition. We were greeted by a wine cooler full of beverages and told to help ourselves by very cordial welcoming sign. Pantry was well stocked with herbs and spices, oils and vinegars, sugars, and sweeteners, and enough coffee to get us through the week. The host is most informative. With their help and advice we had booked most of our dinners before arrival. Location is superb for accessing many marvelous speeches, Dining, shopping, golf, and swimming in the lovely community pool, which was very warm and on crowded . The master bath shower is marvelous. The second shower is also fantastic.
I highly recommend this unit for a splurge get away for a couple. As in most of these units, the second bedroom is not equal to the first, so I can even split between two couples would not be advisable. The second bedroom would be very comfortable for a couple of kids.

Check in was smooth and went according to owner’s instruction. A few minor problems we encountered during this stay. The master bedroom had no cable service for three days but mysteriously came back on on the last night. There was construction outside and was noisy at times. Otherwise, the unit is as advertised. They do have a lot ants. Even a very small piece of food not washed through in the sink will attract a group of ants in no time. Overall, it is a very nice unit.

Amazing!!! Exceeded the expectations. As advertised, this rental was beautiful, spotless, perfectly situated, full of amenities, welcoming, and comfortable! So many extras…from plenty of supplies (TP, tissues, towels, detergents) to little perks of friendly sharing from the homeowners and previous renters…with our promise to pay it forward. Would ABSOLUTELY stay here again and was by far our family’s favorite HI rental so far!

Ekolu single-story 2 Br Condo was perfect for 2 couples. Excellent private bathroom for each bedroom. Kitchen and appliances were as described. Walking distance to Wailea Shops/Restaurants and 3 minute easy drive to beaches (Wailea, Ulua and Polo) and to Wailea Resort & Marriot Luau's. Small hiccup at beginning which Christine/host addressed. Would book again.

My mom and I took a trip to Maui and were fortunate enough to stay at 305! The condo’s location and amenities were more than we had anticipated and made our stay that much more comfortable.
The only critical thing about the condo was the noise from the family staying in the unit above us. Their kids were running around the unit at all hours (including 2am one night) and it was extremely loud. They woke us up on several occasions. I noticed a guest who stayed in April had the same concerns - not sure if it’s just the family that’s loud or something more about the construction of the condo but I did want to share since it did impact our experience.

Excellent accommodation for 2 couples. Great kitchen living room and lanai. Perfect with 2 exceptions. Golf course mowing at 0530 or 6 am on multiple mornings; and large family with 4 young children directly above our entire 8 night stay. Very noisy mornings and evenings with children running back and forth on condo floors, and lanai with lots of crying. Twice spoke to parents and grandparents who threw up hands and said, “well what can we do?” Reported to Hoa- left message. Realize condo owner cannot control this situation themselves. Recommend hoa consider revisiting bookings - perhaps recommend bottom floor, and anyway to mow a bit later?

We had a great experience during our stay in Wailea. The condo has an amazing view of Molokini crater and is very quiet as it’s part of a group of townhomes set on a golf course. We were very central and within walking distance to The Shops at Wailea and Monkey Pod restaurant. We could not have asked for a better location, especially during times with Covid concerns. We did not have to see or encounter our nearest neighbor if we so chose.

Love staying at this property. We have stayed in the property four times now and this unit was by far the best equipt. We only wish the TV in the master was a smart TV. Otherwise and amazing unit in a great location, walk to and from the shops and dinner.

WOW! Breathtaking view from the patio, just like the photos 100%! Owners were awesome with any questions I had for them be about parking to COVID questions and they answered them fast! I can think you guys enough for the amazing stay! The condo was so cozy and perfect! I would come back to this condo again and we are already recommending it to others as well. We looked at the photos before the trip but in person is a whole other story...just beautiful plus the smell of the flowers...
There were plenty of towels, beach stuff (anything you need...really), sheets, all kitchen things to cook with spices, oils etc. Just top notch! They even had extra bath essentials if you needed (I left some as well that were barely used).
**Please go to (or walk) to the Island Gourmet Market its the best for breakfast, coffee, poke.....wine! Very clean and staff are awesome!**

This property exceeded our expectations! The location was perfect and close to Golf, Shops and Restaurants. The property had everything you need from Beach chairs, cooler, ice packs, Beach towels and many other touches to ensure you have everything you need. The Kitchen was fully stocked with all you need to cook if you want to cook some meals. We will be back for sure and the care taker Rachel was great! Had a wonderful stay at this quiet, private, condo with a view! Kitchen is incredibly well stocked and we enjoyed multiple meals in. We dreamed of owning our own space just like it while we were here. Loved the sunset views and great surround sound in the living room. Split systems were quiet and efficient and really cooled off the rooms quickly. One of the best stocked condos ever. Mahalo! We are sad to go home but hope to return!

We just completed our 8-night stay at this lovely, well equipped condo with a SPECTACULAR ocean view. We enjoyed our stay so much, and in particular, appreciated the beach equipment that comes with the condo (beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and some snorkel equipment. The condo is clean and updated, and we couldn't get enough of the gorgeous ocean view from the lanai. I was mesmerized at morning light and again at sunset- I can't say enough about it. We also appreciated that the condo was fully stocked with ice maker, spices, sugar, laundry detergent, paper towels, coffee filters etc. It felt like home. Comfortable beds, fully air-conditioned and what we expected from the description .
Wailea is a beautiful part of the island with easy access to the airport (~30mins at about 4pm), Haleakala, road to Hana and many, many beautiful beaches. We dined at several great restaurants, including the Five Palms (directly on the beach) which is only a few miles away, The Monkey Pod Kitchen had great pizza (that's what we ordered) and live music (bought the CD) and is almost across the street from the condo, Freda's in Lahaina for Mexican, the Molokini Bistro at the Grand Wailea for casual dining has a great ocean view and is worth the trip to see the hotel (right down the road), Beach Bum's BBQ was also great. The super market is only 5 miles down the road and great for picking up groceries to make breakfast, picnics and an occasional dinner. We also highly recommend Makena Stables (20 mins away) for a trail ride and Pacific Whale Foundation's Molokini/Turtle Arches snorkeling trip.
Christine and Colin were thoughtful and easy to deal with. Loved the condo, the location and highly recommend this condo for your trip to Maui.

Our family of 4 stayed for one week in July and enjoyed every minute of our stay (it went too fast!). This newly renovated condo has all the comforts (and added luxuries!) of home. The view is spectacular, the living space is comfortable and spacious, the gourmet kitchen has every amenity you could ever need or wish for, and the bedrooms are elegantly decorated and relaxing. There is a surplus of towels and linens (including beach towels), beach chairs and a storage bin full of anything you might need for the beach (even boogie boards!)
The condo is located in a quiet location, but it is central enough that we were able to walk to the beach and the Shops at Wailea, and enjoy the numerous local dining options with spectacular views (Gannon's was a favorite). We enjoyed playing golf on all three courses -- especially the Emerald and Gold Courses, but Blue was a great deal of fun for our teenagers.
Christine and Colin were very helpful and hospitable throughout the entire process -- we are definitely planning to stay here again...hopefully very soon!

I'll be honest...when I hear "condo in maui" - I think of something from the 70's or an old Hawaii Five O episode. This was not the case here! What a pleasant surprise. I'll break it down like this:
-Location: Fantastic or Perfect...I cant decide between the two. The hotels of Wailea, the Shops, the golf courses, restaurants are all within walking or a very short driving distance.
-View: The Ocean view perched on a hill is spectacular. Thanks to this visit, I cant imagine staying in Maui - in a place without a view. The ground floor unit allows you to step outside on a green lawn and either watch the kids run around or enjoy a dinner overlooking the ocean.
-Décor: Granite countertops and modern appliances. Two huge bedrooms with their own full washrooms. Let me emphasize HUGE. Colin and Christine have added their "touches" to the place and it adds that little bit extra.
-Others: Netflix, laundry, bbq, pool just adds to the experience.
Wouldn't hesitate recommending it to anyone!

We had the best time staying in Ekolu 305! It has everything you can possibly need. The view from the lanai was spectacular! The perfect place to watch the sun rise and set each day. The condo is in a great location which is close to many wonderful beaches and great shopping. We would definitely come back and stay here again.

My wife and two of our teenagers stayed for a week and would recommend this home to those looking for an upscale feel for a great value. Every thing you need is there. I mean you stop at Costco from the airport and you are done, this place is fully stocked. We enjoy evening movies and the HD TV with premium sound was there. Want morning coffee on the lanai, nice lounge chairs to take in the ocean and Molokeni. I played the Old Blue course and walked right to the club house. All the main resorts and shopping and restaurants and beaches are but 5 mins away. Yes thank you Christine and Colin, this was our perfect Maui getaway.

My family and I stayed here in March of 2015 and it felt like a home away from home! It was perfect for our children and perfect for us! The grassy area right off the beautiful lanai was a wonderful play area for our two 8-year-olds and our 2-year-old. They especially had a ball! Making meals was so easy as the updated kitchen was fully equipped. Everything you could need in a kitchen was there. From mixing bowls, dish towels, right down to a salad spinner. I mean, FULLY equipped. And the BBQs were just around the corner from the unit, just off the golf course. It all made for some beautiful dinners on the lanai while we watched some amazing Maui sunsets. You can tell that the owners made every effort to make their guests comfortable...binoculars, bird-watching books, plant and flower guides, games, and so many other conveniences were included in the unit and available to us during our stay. Boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas....the list goes on. The bathrooms were beautiful and modern yet still had an island feel. The furniture throughout was comfortable and updated. The bed linens were environmentally friendly, made from bamboo and were ever so comfortable. The bedrooms were on either side of the unit which afforded us some privacy from the kids. Wailea, Elua and Ekahi beaches were all about a 15 minute walk for us with the children but we had rented a car so it was just a short drive to get down to the water. The location was great, close to the Shops at Wailea and lots of nice restaurants to choose from. Kihei was just a 5-10 minute drive so we were able to explore there too for dining and groceries. The owners and the caretaker were easy to deal with and helped us out along the way with details and directions. All in all, we would highly recommend this condo to family and friends. We had a great stay and made lots of beautiful Maui memories!

I stayed at this condo in September with some friends-and would go back in a heartbeat! It is such an awesome location-walking distance to the Shops at Wailea and beaches. The setting on the golf course is beautiful and the sunset from the lanai or BBQ (steps from lanai) was breathtaking. The condo itself is very tastefully decorated with upscale furnishings and has everything you need if you are cooking your own meals. It is very clean and bright. The owners were very easy to work with. Love it!!

my husband and I have been vacationing in Maui for years, staying in different VRBO condos. This one was by far our favourite for so many reasons! We loved the modern updates (granite countertops, glass showers, new washer/dryer etc)...feels just like home, fantastic open layout, very spacious, a great location within walking distance to the shops and monkey pod, but I would have to say the best part was the lanai and how you could lie around on the grass right beside it. It's like having a little backyard! Plus, the condo backs onto a golf course, so you have a great view of that and a bit of the ocean for gorgeous sunsets.
I also loved how there's free wifi, the bedrooms each had their own ensuite and did not share a wall, for added privacy. The condo also have beach chairs, an umbrella, body boards etc, so that's a nice added bonus!
Overall, I highly recommend this condo. The owners are Canadian and were nice and easy to work with. My husband and I have already booked our stay here again for next year! Can't wait!!!

My family and I stayed here for 13 days in September and we had the best vacation. Location is just a few min from the beach and the views from the verandah are awesome. Being on the 1st floor our toddler boys had a blast playing in the grass. We even had some family photos done out on the rolling lawn. The house is equipped with anything you need and the storage unit off the 2nd room has all sorts of beach equipment, as well as snorkeling goods. This was our 2nd stay at the Ekolu Villages and we liked this property even better than the first one as it wasn't near the main street and at night we didn't have any problems with street noise. You can't go wrong with this unit. It's the best.
