The most important for me is a comfortable bed and sofa and I was extremely happy that they were. The kitchen was well-equipped and the condo mostly clean except for the living room floor was still sandy and I think the cleaning lady forgot to wash the shower corner shelf (also sandy) and replenish things (no soap, no extra toilet paper). But I would still go back for the fabulous location and great comfort of the condo.

Property was okay. Nice and quiet. Very basic. Nothing special. The bed was very comfortable and the living room furniture was good. Kitchen appliances are old and could really use an update. There were 2 beach chairs, 1 was a good Tommy Bahamas the other was poor. When my husband was sitting in it the back kept dropping back and he”s not a big guy. We ended up renting one. The beach towels were old and worn and the beach cooler was useless. We bought a new hard sided one and left it in the unit. The beach umbrella was great.

We have stayed at Maui Vista a few times in different units. It's a great location, right across from Charlie Young beach. This unit was clean and check in/out process was super easy. The only thing to note is that there aren't as many things included as we've had in other units (beach stuff, kitchen supplies, pantry items).

Wonderful convenient local that is close to everything needed for a vacation in the Sun. The condos are close to a very wonderful beach called Charlie Young Beach. We like the convenience of having a full kitchen in the condos.

It is well kept and in a great location within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and great beaches.I have rented through other management companies in Kihei, and Rental Maui has been the best company and very good customer service.

Overall, it was great. The place was great. Rentals Maui was great.i was a bit surprised to find there was not a smoke detector in the bedroom and the one in the hallway had been disabled. Also a bit surprised to not find a recycle bin. Overall, place was very well stocked, very Aloha. Liked the coffee pot caddie - never seen this before. Beautiful live edge coffee table! Bed was comfortable. Stove is a piece of c**p - couldn't get a level burner for cooking.

Walk across the street to Charlie Young Beach or any of the 3 Kamaole shores. Apt was clean, accessible, nice kitchen for cooking if we didnt eat out. Plenty of parking with a roving security officer. Nice quiet pool area for the days you're not out out exploring the beaches. We have stayed here in the past and will stay again for future trips.

The fan in the bedroom really helps with cooling the room since the AC can't really reach that far to the bedroom. My only main complaint is that the condo is managed by a rental company and they give you exactly 2 rolls of toilet paper for each stay, and there was no tissue paper. I thought this was lame considering all the rental and service fees we've had to pay. Also, my husband also took the request to "squeegee down the shower" to heart and actually did it. He does that at home too; but being asked to do it in a rental reminds me of the Internet meme of paying for high service fee yet being asked to perform that kind of service before you leave the rental.

We had a very relaxing laid back trip. We did a long walk every morning on Kam 123 beaches then headed out to one of Maui’s beautiful beaches. Supper was usually barbecued a couple of drinks and early to bed. I know kind or boring but it’s a great way to relax!

This condo has a little balcony with a beautiful view of the ocean. We were able to watch the sunset and whales (with binoculars) from our little bistro table. There are lots of positives here. It's walkable to restaurants, the beach, groceries, the bus, and has lots of parking for guests too. The kitchen has everything you need, including ice trays and a blender. There is a washer, dryer & dishwasher. The living room furniture and the bed are comfortable. (We didn't use the sofa bed - so I don't know about that.) They have beach towels, chairs, an umbrella and a cooler for guests too. This had everything we were looking for!
The customer service through Maui Rentals was also excellent. I suggest you book directly with them for the best rate.
But there are a few cautions depending on what matters to you as a traveller. The bathroom is clean and functional but the bathtub/shower is dated. There are two AC units (bedroom & living room) while noisy, we were able to sleep, but that might not work for you. You are facing the street/pool, but it wasn't loud. And we loved the sunsets!
We spent most of our time on the beach or exploring the island, but we were always happy to return to our comfortable home base. We would happily stay here again!

#2-222 unit at the Maui Vista served our needs while we visited Kihei Maui. The unit is very old and out dated, no smart TV , the bed was comfortable but the bed linens were super old but but the unit is well equipped and cleaned.

The property was in a great location on the south end close to great beaches, restaurants, groceries and local roadside food. Unit amenities are basic but nice, they include beach chairs, coolers, a boogie board and towels to take outside. We spent most of our time away enjoying the outdoors. The floor was a bit sandy, the back bedroom a tad warm, parking was a huge challenge due to the demolition and repaving of the property parking during our stay. But future tenants from now forward will have a new beautiful parking area. We cleaned and wanted to leave the floors in nicer condition than we found them. For the location, accessibility and price, we would stay there again. Thanks.

This condo is the perfect little stay for a couple looking for an easy, relaxing getaway. Located right across the street from the beach and within walking distance from lots of great restaurants it has pretty much all that you need. The full kitchen is a definite plus, making it easy to make your own meals and they also have laundry in-unit. Only thing that would have made it better would be if they provided toiletries, but it was easy enough to stop by the store and grab shampoo/conditioner and some extra toilet paper.
We'll definitely be back soon!

This rental more than met our criteria-clean bed and a pool. The kitchen was well-equipped, which we appreciated as we try to cook for ourselves about half the time while in expensive Maui. The unit had been updated, had granite counters and a nice large tile shower. The complex has three small pools, so if one was busy, we could shop around. Lots of tennis courts. We could walk across the street to the beach and to restaurants and shops. Rental management company very responsive, brought a replacement beach umbrella and a plunger.

Point to improve, washcloths need to be bedridden, need a table balcony eat outside is so nice, beach umbrella broken. A/c in the master room will be a +++ it’s unpleasant (understand impossible!) to be sitting on the sofa whit a/c on us. However I send my comments to rentals Maui hope they’ll take note of them. Positive: it’s a quiet place, near the beach, free coffee appreciate, pretty well equipped kitchen
