My daughter and her family stayed in this condo. She said it was a very nice unit. The only downside was the hairdryers were terrible and smelled bad when used. We should have reported it but we didn’t. The property managers were prompt with any request that we made. It was a great week vacation.

Background: This was the third trip to Maui for my wife and I, and we were a total party of 8 (6 adults and 2 young children). First time staying on the West side. Previous stays were in Wailea and Kihei.
Property Management: From time of booking through checkout, we received excellent communication on payment requests, check-in and checkout procedures, and special requests. We did not have anything wrong with the property that required assistance, so I cannot comment on their responsiveness, although I have no reason to believe it would have been anything other than prompt and professional. Good problem to have!
Condo: As the title says, phenomenal. Honoa Kai is a beautiful resort, and our condo really was perfect. More details below:
Lanai: Awe-inspiring. View of the property and ocean were awesome and provided excellent views of the ocean, the sunset, and the people. The lanai does overlook the pools, but there were NEVER any privacy or noise concerns. It was great to be able to look down and see my children and their grandparents in the pool. Additionally, the lanai wraps around and also provides beautiful views of the mountains. The wraparound part helps with the airflow and keeps it extremely comfortable even when cooking on the grill. The grill worked great and had an outdoor fridge and pantry for all your cooking needs. We used it multiple times during our stay. Lastly, the glass walls open up completely (and easily) between the lanai and the living room / kitchen and create a wonderful open feel. Needless to say, we all spent a great deal of time here!
Bedrooms/Bathrooms: Perfect and huge! Two master bedrooms were essentially apartments unto themselves. Master baths were absolutely top notch. The third bedroom was beautiful as well and right next to the third bathroom (although not en suite). Only seems small because the masters are so huge! Each bedroom has its own AC control, so if some like it hot, it doesn't penalize the others!
Misc: Place was stocked with everything needed: kitchenware, laundry, beach toys. No need for anything else.
Honoa Kai resort: Free valet parking made travel easy. Never waited more than a few minutes for car pickup. Pools were beautiful and easy to access. Beach short walk, although we spent most of the time at the pool. Dukes was always busy, so make reservations if desired.
I'm out of characters, but this was a phenomenal property and amazing stay. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
