Second stay at this property did not disappoint . My wife absolutely loves this location and is our go to while in Kihei. Can make it to beach or Freds in 1 min . Easy walk to almost everything in Kihei .

Enjoyed our 9 night stay in early July. Location was great: view of beach and steps to nightly spectacular sunsets. Lots of amenities and activities within walking distance. Unit is close to main road, but noise wasn't ever a problem for us as most know Maui rolls up their sidewalks at 9pm! Actually really liked the ground floor unit for ease of access.
High quality kitchen equipment is always a priority for us; had everything (except a whisk!) which made it great for making meals. Large open great room area is nice for relaxing, but we spent our time out on patio in evenings mostly. Bed was very comfy with a variety of pillow types to choose from, and temperature control throughout the unit was very appreciated!
Set in a relatively quiet complex with nice swimming pool, multiple good BBQ locations, trashy books to borrow from in laundry room. Snorkel equipment and boogie boards looked to be available for use, and it was great to have larger cooler for taking to beach and grocery shopping. We definitely enjoyed!

This is the second time we have stayed at Mark and Pam's home in Kihei and it was as great as our first time. The location is second to none as you are steps from Kam 2 beach and walking distances from shopping and great restaurants. This unit has everything and is very clean. I really can't say enough about the property. Communication with the owners is also excellent. They were always available and very informative. And the location was great right across the street from a beautiful beach with a pedestrian crossing to make access easy. Within walking distance of several really good restaurants and delis. Really nice unit. Right on S Kihei st which is pretty busy but the unit is located in an interior space so very very little noise. Literally across the street from Kam2 beach and 5 restaurants within 150 ft. Had a couple of contacts with owner prior to arrival (just quick questions) and always got a quick and thorough reply. Owner also doesn't have an encyclopedia of work they expect from you. I respect that. Clean up behind yourself and respect the property and everything is fine. Would recommend the unit

Can not ask for anything more . Location , cleanliness, amenities are all excellent . Unit just as described , unit fully stocked with everything you need to prepare a basic or complex meal . Close to so many good eateries you dont need to cook . Super fast and stable Wifi , had 1 minor issue that was handled with ease by a couple texts with owner . So close to the beach, you can see the ocean across the road from the patio. The host was excellent and quick to respond. The place itself is nicely decorated and surprisingly spacious and has many extras. It looks better than the pictures show, they even have a ceiling fan in the bedroom! This is my first time to Maui so I’m a bit biased but this has been the best vacation I’ve taken in my entire life. The beaches are gorgeous and the condo is right across the street from it. This condo had everything we needed from kitchen supplies to coolers for the beach and even beach chairs / boogie boards. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone who isn’t familiar with Hawaii and doesn’t necessarily have an idea of what they will get into.

This little condo has everything you need and is quiet and well-supplied with beach gear, although this was a work trip for us and we pretty much just slept here and had 16 hour work days out. However, the only sheets were on the only bed, so my coworker who slept on the couch had to make do with borrowing my blanket to sort of burrow in. There were extra bed pillows, which was good. We appreciated the use of non-scented laundry detergents, which are a real issue for many. Thanks! The AC unit in the living room needs repair as it rained steadily and could not be used. Something is up with it and we informed the cleaning lady who knocked promptly at 10am about it. Overall it was easy to find, easy to use, well-stocked (other than bedding--there really should be a spare set of sheets in general), and seems to be undergoing updating.

What a fabulous stay at the Kihei Kai Nani! We’ve been there several times, and love the location across from the Kam 2 beach. There’s good parking for this unit, and the pool is great. There’s so much going on in Kihei, and the complex is so close to walk to any number of shops or restaurants, that if you can get there, you don’t really need a car (but being able to explore the rest of gorgeous Maui is awesome!) Kihei isn’t as soul-less as we find the resorts; it feels like “real Maui”! The unit is great, perfectly placed in the complex, a few steps to the street to walk across and be at the beach. You can see some of the sunset from the lanai (looking through a beautiful palm!) The unit was clean and well stocked. Nicely decorated and comfy furniture, especially the bed. The only cons: being so perfectly placed by the beach in Kihei means you get some street noise from the bedroom, and the TV needed some instructions for non- techno guests, but who needs TV? (We did finally figure it out!) There are great restaurants, but our faves are the Paia Fish Co for great fish burgers, the Monkeypod for killer happy hour and best Mai tais ever made, the Maui tacos for fish tacos, Da Kitchen for real Hawaiian food and plate lunches, and last but not least: Maui Bread Co for their amazing Hawaiian muffins!! The bomb!!

Great condo and location! We loved walking across the street to catch the sunset on the beach after a long day out. We were close enough to plenty of shops, restaurants, and activities, without as much of the touristy feel of Kaanapali (which is beautiful too!). The condo has beach gear and coolers, plus everything you need to make dinner and drinks when you get back from the beach. It was great to not have to worry about renting or buying everything. The owners were quick to reply to questions and all of the staff we encountered in the office and grounds were friendly and helpful. We will definitely try to book this unit again if we return to Maui. Thank you!

This condo has lovely kitchen and bathroom upgrades as advertised. Appliances are top notch and we were provided with everything we needed. Closet space was adequate and extra hangars appreciated. It is convenient (walking distance) to stores and eateries. Despite instructions, could not figure out how to personalize the access code, but it was not really necessary anyway. Owners were very responsive to questions when booking and on arrival. Mark even notified us of an early check-in option. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a wonderful stay at this property for a week. The location is steps away from the ocean where everyone gathers to watch the sunset. We appreciated being able to walk over there minutes prior. The condo complex appears to be a mixture of local snowbirds and vacationers, and because all the units seem to be one bedrooms, there are very few children so it appealed to couples wanting some quiet time. The neighbors respected the quiet hours as well. The condo facilities are average for this area of Kihei but this seemed to be one of the nicer units. It was upgraded and clean and we had what we needed in the way of amenities. We loved making coffee and drinking it on the lanai every morning before starting our days. You can easily explore the whole island from Kihei and we loved having this place as our home base. It was great to have way more room than we would have in just a regular hotel room, and we got to make use of the kitchen as well. Parking was also ample and there was lots right by the unit. Bear in mind because this unit is so central, you are steps away from retail establishments and the main local road through Kihei. We live in a busy downtown area so this was not an issue for us and we appreciated being so close to the water, but I could see how others might want a unit further away from the street. All in all this is one of the better units you’ll find and I recommend booking it!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this property! It is centrally located which worked out great as our “home base” as we checked out all Maui has to offer. In addition, the location across from Kam 2 is perfect as you are literally 100 ft from a great beach. I HIGHLY recommend snorkeling the reef between Kam 1 and Kam 2 (also Kam 2 and 3) as you will see many amazing wildlife, including lots of sea turtles. Just make sure you snorkel in the morning before wind picks up and sea gets a bit more rough (which is better for boogie boarding!). There are also many food and bar options within walking distance and recommend checking out the live music played at the Tiki Bar from 3pm to 6pm (cheapest drinks) and Ohana Seafood from 6:30pm to 9:30pm (best music - try to catch when Tripp Wilson is playing - you will have a great time). Back to the property, the bed is very comfortable, bathroom is nice, and there is a comfortable couch and decent sized TV with all apps needed. Wifi was plenty quick (I was using VPN to San Diego for work without issue). Everything you need to have a great time at the beach is provided, including chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and even snorkeling equipment (though we used our own). Oh and the A/C works great! Basically, you will not regret staying at this property and we highly recommend staying here.

Our first trip to Maui and this place was perfect. Kihei in general is a great location that is convenient to the whole island.
This condo is right across from a nice smaller beach with multiple restaurants, bars and shops within close walking distance.
The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The woodwork in the condo is impressive. Very nice having ac throughout, you can sleep comfortably here.

In his description of his condo and of the area there are some things Mark doesn't say. Among them are how unbelievable the night sky is right across the street at the beach (which you can see from the lanai). He also doesn't wax poetic about how awesome the doors are in the condo, with the windows that have a matching design to the bedroom suite... it's a very cool theme in the condo. He kind of indicates that this is the BEST unit in Kihei Kai Nani, but it really is as you will see for yourself! People leave their shades open at night and you can't help but see in and realize how fantastic the decor and set -up of KKN 102 is. Everything is immaculate, well designed, comfortable and contemporary. My husband particularly liked the desk area for his computer. There are way more places to eat within easy walking distance of the condo than show up on google maps so enjoy checking out many local grindz. Also, the complex itself is very pretty and well maintained. On a clear day we could see one of the observatories on Haleakala's summit. We were also there for a crazy weather event, the Kona low that came through, and we stayed dry and cozy. And the condo is quiet. All I can say is WOW, we loved it!!

I have stayed at many properties on Maui and love Kihei and Kamaole II beach the most. This property was absolutely perfect for me and my daughter. Unit is spotless, beautifully remodeled and decorated and has everything you need. You can read all of the other reviews but what I liked the most and why I would rent this unit again:
1. Location - it's the best! The best beach on the island is across the street, multitude of shops and places to eat right next to you. Easy drive to many hikes and activities and Costco if that's your jam. Note, free parking, you just need to get the parking tag at the office.
2. A/C - believe me, you will love it! the system in this unit is awesome! it's so quiet and I loved setting the temperature before going to bed and sleeping comfortably all night long. The unit doesn't get too hot anyway, no blazing sun through the windows which was nice.
3. Amenities - Complex has a great big pool with plenty of lounge chairs. I also really liked having the wash station right next to the building to rinse off all the sand before going to the unit.
Once again, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this unit to anyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1-week stay at Mark & Pam's condo in Kihei. As advertised, the unit is spacious, comfortable and updated. Convenient location to head out from for all our adventures around the island but also perfect for times we just wanted to relax at the beach across the street or at the KKN pool.
Mark was a very communicative host, and gave us a heads up that the living room AC was not working before we arrived. He went above and beyond to make sure we were still comfortable having the maids leave several powerful fans to distribute the cool air from the bedroom AC. Even with the AC issue, this was the best place we stayed on our 2 week honeymoon!

We were here in 2019 and loved our trip, and decided that once we had our COVID vaccines we’d be comfortable traveling back to Hawai’i.
Second trip was just as good as the first, love being right across from the beach. The unit has lots of beach gear right on the lanai, so you can just grab a chair and an umbrella and stroll right to the beach for lazy days.
And I think Kihei is a really nice spot to set up camp. Lahaina is so crowded, I much prefer a slower pace and more local flair. Kihei has plenty of shops and restaurants, and great beaches. Recommend the Maui Thai cafe that is a very short walk from the unit!

Unit 102 was perfect if you want direct access to Kam 2. It is 3 units from the street, which makes it about 2 minutes walking to the sand.
You can see the ocean and Kaho'olawe from the lanai!
Everything in the condo is beautifully remodeled. Very comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Bedroom and bathroom are wonderful as well. OUTSTANDING!
Our grandkids were able to come over from Upcountry and visit. The pool was perfect for them and us. We grilled several times on the nearby gas grills within the condo complex.

Mark and Pam's place was perfect for our baby-moon! The beach was across the street and restaurants are within walking distance (I highly recommend the banana pudding next door at 808 Deli!). Mark gave clear instructions on checking in and made themselves available for anything that we may need during out stay. The place was spotless and had exactly what we needed to make our stay comfortable. They even had coolers for our beach days and our long excursions around the island. Staff on site was super friendly and helpful! We hope to stay here again for our next visit to Maui.

We enjoyed our stay at "Trophy" unit. It is on the ground floor, which was great for my husband. It is across the parking lot from Fred's, our favorite place to eat in Kihei, and across the street from Kamole beach, which is a very nice beach.
The unit is very clean and well stocked. We especially enjoyed having the blender in the room. We had many smoothies, with fresh fruit from the island for breakfast and also made a few lava flows and mai tai's in the evening. Having the beach chairs, beach towels and cooler in the condo was a nice convenience for beach going. We would definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect, both in terms of being steps away from a great beach (Kam II), shops/dining and for driving to other destinations on the island. The condo was modern and comfortable AND had everything we needed to enjoy many great days on the beach (towels, chairs, umbrella, beach mats, boogie boards, coolers, snorkel gear, etc.)
Communication from Mark & Pam was excellent and very detailed which made for an easy arrival, stay and departure. The office staff were also very pleasant and welcoming, offering tips based on the few details we gave about our plans for the week. I highly recommend adding this property to your shortlist. You won't be disappointed!

Loved that the condo was across the street from the beach for easy access to swimming with turtles and watching beautiful sunsets. The condo was clean and well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay!

Mark and Pam think of EVERY single detail and then go above and beyond. An incredibly clean, beautiful and comfy sanctuary. Walking distance to the beach, Mark and Pam have set up their guests with a great umbrella, 2 amazing beach chairs, 3 boogie boards, beach towels and 2 noodles that we used every day to snorkel on Kamaole Beach II. We made a lot of meals inside the condo and there was everything and more ready for our use in the kitchen. Lots of great restaurants and shopping within walking distance as well, so here, you have it all! This is our second time staying here and we already can't wait to book our next trip, the only problem is Mark and Pam's schedule for this place books up fast, so the secret's out. Thank you again Mark and Pam for another absolutely perfect stay.

We have stayed many years in the same location but different units. This place rocked!! l love all of the upgrades and location to parking and shops. Everything worked and was top notch. Sad we can't get this unit for our trip in May 2019, but will plan to in November. Thank you so much for your constant communication which made our trip so much easier!! - Wayne and Mary

I stayed at the unit with my 80 year old grandmother and we loved it! Really nice having a ground floor unit and the sleeper sofa was more comfortable than I expected! The kitchen is very well equipped and had everything we needed. Thank you Mark and Pam for a wonderful stay!!

We loved our stay here! Fantastic location to explore the island! A middle point to everything. First impression, parking was easy and plentiful. We loved that it was a ground floor unit. Made coming and going so much easier when carrying beach stuff, groceries or luggage. This unit is in a two story building within a very quiet complex. The condo was really clean and well organized, had everything we needed. Even though it’s not on the beach it was fine as you can see the ocean from the lanai and there’s an on demand crosswalk so crossing the street is easy and quick. There’s also a view of the hillside behind. So pretty to wake up to each morning. It’s directly across from Kamaole Beach 2, a great spot to view the sunset every night. Bring a beach chair and relax!
The fridge is full size and has a dishwasher, many condos don’t have a dishwasher and we really appreciated it. Whoever remolded this unit did a wonderful job. They maximized the space wonderfully, we had plenty of room. We liked the large bathroom counter and mirror, we could both get ready at the the same time (yay!) and the shower is a large walk in, we were able to shower together no problem-saving time and water. We loved the slate shower and the water pressure was super!
There are boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach chairs and a small cooler. The pool is bigger than it looks with with 10ft deep end and is well maintained. The laundry room is right next to the pool which is awesome so you can do a load of laundry while relaxing in the pool area. The grounds are well kept and we didn’t see any sugar ants or cockroaches which is a near miracle in Hawaii.
The air conditioner worked great, it cooled the whole unit and was quiet. Even being 90F, we didn’t need to run it all the time as it’s a bottom floor unit. It’s perfect for 2 adults.
My only complaint is the lighting in the bathroom could have been brighter, it was difficult to put makeup on.
Mark & Pam are responsive and were kind enough to contact us as we were to leave the day of Hurricane Olivia.
We defiantly would stay here agin.
* We highly recommend Kihei Cafe, Cones on Kihei, The Mill House and Coconut’s fish tacos. All nearby!

Great location to walk to beach, restaurants and shops. Unit is well equipped with kitchen items and beach stuff for your use. Very quiet, super clean, and a comfy bed. The only negative was the bedroom being a little warm as the A/C is in the living room, but the ceiling fans help move the air. We'd easily choose to stay here again.

The condo was beautiful. The location couldn't have been better. This complex is older but the condo is beautifully remodeled. Patio was perfect facing the ocean and they have several nice grills for cooking out. The owner was very easy to get ahold of when booking and also returned deposit quickly. The cleaning lady does cute touches throughout. I would definitely return to this property. Quiet and clean complex- pool was also lovely. I highly recommend this condo! Thanks Mark!

This place is great as its across from our favorite beach in south maui, kam 2. You can see the ocean from the lanai, so you know its a super short walk. The pool in the complex is bigger than most places we've stayed in Hawaii, and the deep end is 7', which is something you dont see very often.
The bedroom is great, if you have the fans running, and keep the shades drawn during the day, the room stays nice and cool at night.
Really the only weird thing we noticed was that whoever remolded the unit (not the current owners), must have had some broken tape measures; the bathroom counters are taller than standard heights, and the toilet is lower than standard.

We stayed at the condo for 5 nights and would definitely come back. The condo is updated and clean. The location couldn't be better. We were at the beach in minutes. Love the hose at the front of the property. Great to clean off your feet before you get to the condo. Restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again

We just returned from a week in this condo and will definitely stay here again. It had everything we needed to enjoy our time in Maui. The best part was the great location and the comfy bed. We actually took photos of the kitchen to get ideas for our own kitchen remodel. Owners were helpful and very accessible.
