Honua Kai is a Four Star resort with four pools, five spas, a fitness center, Aina Gourmet Market, and beachfront Dukes Restaurant on premises.
Our one bedroom condo (unit 514 in The Hokulani Building) has a partial ocean view from the lanai, has a KING sized bed in the bedroom AND queen SOFA SLEEPER for additional guests.
There are three large pools at Honua Kai, each with its own character. The FORMAL Pool is an infinity-edge lap pool featuring two hot tubs and perfect ocean views. The OHANA Pool features a one hundred and twenty foot WATER SLIDE and a waterfall that cascades into the main swimming area. Natural lava rock will form an elevated hot tub that takes in the ocean views. The Ohana Pool also has a sandy beach and a shallow pool for the kids. The RIVER Pool features a meandering river that flows through smaller swimming holes and waterfalls.
Honua Kai also features Duke's Beach House, an Oceanfront restaurant run by the same owners of Kimo's, Hula Grill, and Leilani's. Great food at reasonable prices for breakfast, lunch and dinner, in addition to poolside service. Experience the beautiful sunsets on Kaanapali Beach with live music nightly and a wonderful dining experience!
Large fitness center with state of the art equipment is on the ground floor of the Konea Building.
Ho'ola Spa and the Whaler's General Store in the Konea Building is now open.
Located on the Fifth floor, our One bedroom, One bath condo has 700 square feet plus the 145 square foot lanai, and comfortably sleeps four.

Our guests will have access to all pools, BBQ grills, and fitness center in the Konea Building.

Honua Kai is within walking distance to many restaurants of all price ranges, a grocery store (Times Market), and a Farmer's Market. We are on the northern end of Kaanapali Beach and there is a boardwalk that starts at Honua Kai and goes to Black Rock, Whaler's Village and the Hyatt, the southernmost resort on Kaanapali Beach.
Car rental is the most preferred mode of transportation. Uber is increasingly popular on Maui.
Honua Kai does not charge guests for underground parking, and is included in our nightly rates. This is a great savings compared to other resorts on Kaanapali Beach that charges a "Resort" or "Parking" fee.
Our secured, underground parking keeps your car cool from the sun, and is close to the elevators that leads you to our condo. This eliminates the need to walk through the lobby with your luggage or groceries.
No smoking in condo or lanai.
