Our condo is the perfect place to 'get away from it all' and kick back. We are located across the street from White Sands Beach, a premier boogie-boarding beach that attracts swimmers and snorkelers alike. White Sands beach amenities include staffed lifeguard tower, volleyball net, bathrooms and white sand to relax and catch the sun. Just 1 mile south to Kahalu'u State Park home of the famous Snorkel Beach, view hundreds of species of tropical fish and giant green sea turtles in protected calm waters. Turtles can be seen often daily at Kahalu'u Beach as they feed off of the algae right at your feet. If you're a golfer, choose from one of the two 18-hole courses at the Kona Country Club just two miles away.
Begin your mornings sipping Kona coffee on the 27' lanai while overlooking the palm trees, poinciana tree, hibiscus, plumerias, and banana trees with peeks of ocean through nearby trees. You may reach our condominium by elevator, up on the second floor away from street noise or pool sounds. The gorgeous pool has chaise lounges, Jacuzzi, 4 barbecues, game room with pool table, library, and free tennis courts are available for your use. Take an easy stroll over to the beach or park and enjoy the white sand beach, blue turquoise water, waves, swimming, sun, snorkeling and beautiful sunsets with benches along a sea wall or shaded lawn. We have everything you should need for the beach-chairs/beach mats/snorkel gear/towels. Shop the local farmer's market for great buys on local fruits or shop at the large supermarkets and use the kitchen or barbecue.
We offer our condominium to non-smoking guests when we are tied up with our mainland duties. With that in mind, the kitchen has all of the amenities of home because this is our 2nd home and we keep our kitchen well equipped with a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave oven, and stove. We supply cooking and baking equipment, sharp knives, quality dishes, glassware, and utensils, and all the usual small appliances.
Amenities include high speed internet, 2 large flat screen cable TV's and a landline for free call within US and Canada. The unit also includes a washer and dryer so all you need to pack is your bathing suit and a pair of shorts. Designated parking near stairwell. Stay cool in the central air conditioning or open the windows and enjoy the ocean breeze. Comfort abounds whether you choose to relax in the living room or on the lanai.
Additional activities in and around Kailua-Kona include kayaking, sunset cruises, whale watching, parasailing, deep sea fishing, jet skiing, paddle boarding, outrigger canoeing, snorkeling, scuba diving, hiking, theater, movies, shopping, and restaurants.
Longer drives will take you to Kilauea Volcano, Mauna Kea Observatories, Waipio Valley, Akaka and Umauma Waterfalls, Dolphin Qwest, Botanical Gardens, Black and Green Sand Beaches, Waimea and Parker Ranch, Ancient Hawaiian Fishponds, Hawaiian Petroglyphs, Coffee Farms, Captain Cook Monument, and Historic Hilo town.

We stayed for 9 days at White Sands Village. The accommodations were more than we expected. Lots of little extras to make our stay so easy. We had friends staying in a condo upstairs from us, and ours was far superior. Lots of space for us and our two kids, and right across from the beach! The common areas were well taken care of, and easy access to drive to attractions and stores. We would definitely look to stay here again.

Lots of room for our family of 2 adults & 2 children. Very close access, (within view across the road,) to good beach and snorkelling. Excellent snorkelling within 1 mile. Also great sunsets from our entranceway or from the beach.
Had a minor problem with the AC that was handled very satisfactorily by the owner. The unit appears to have been recently updated.Would recommend this rental.

This comfortable, well-equipped condo is a delight. The complex is across the street frm the beach, has a pool , hot tub, tennis courts, and a very nice grill/pavillion. It is in close proximity to all that the Kona Coast has to offer. Loved staying here!

Second time renting in White Sands Village. The unit was great and Carling seems like an attentive owner. The unit is updated and well maintained. We did visit Hawaii with another family that had a different unit in the complex and this one was much nicer and less expensive.
There is a lot of gear in the storage unit by the parking which was also great. Snorkeling, boogie boards, chairs, mats, umbrella, life vests were all available if you need any of that.
No complaints and only complements for this one.
Someone stated in another review that it would be nice to have a rice cooker in the unit and I guess the worst thing I can say is I agree with that.

This stay was a short time, but the sense of the room was very nice, it was easy to use and comfortable. If possible, we wanted a rice cooker.

The condo was clean and well kept. Perfect for my family of 4. The location was ideal, right across the street from magic sands beach. The kitchen was well stocked. Overall the place was fantastic and helped us have a wonderful trip!
