the studio was spacious and was perfect for my husband and I. The parking pass was definte!y a plus! My only suggestion would be new pillows are needed for the bed and i would have liked a teapot (not a big deal though) .liked that there were beach chairs for us to use but wish there had been a small cooler. I would defintley stay here in the future.

My daughter and I loved this room! It was perfect for our 7day trip. The views were the best part! We watched the sunset from the balcony along with ocean views. Communication with the property manager was quick and friendly. Our own paking spot was such a bonus. Tons of shopping in walking distance and the beach is right is your back yard (5 min walk) If we visit Waikiki again we'll definitely stay here. Thank you!

Close to everything. 3rd time staying at iIlikai. Love it here. Sorry restaurant on lobby level is now closed but coffee shop with food and wonderful restaurant on 30th floor make up for it. Dave’s ice cream shop is a must.

We stayed for 6 nights at this property and would highly recommend. The unit was clean and perfectly stocked. The pull-out couch was comfortable and the unit was a perfect size for two adults. The check in was a seamless process and the key-less code entry on the door was extremely convenient (no key to carry to the beach!). The view from the deck was absolutely fantastic and we enjoyed sunsets over the ocean on many evenings! The Ilikai itself was a great place to stay. Not overly crowded but a nice level of activity and great places to sit and enjoy the marina. It was centrally located so that we could walk to many of the activities that we were interested in. A small grocery store across the street let us get everything that we needed. The wading pool on the second floor had less kids and was a wonderful spot to relax. The condo was equipped with beach chairs and umbrellas. Having a parking space for our rental was fantastic and let us fully explore the island! Since we are from Boston, it may be a while until we can return, but I would absolutely stay here again if we are lucky enough to get back to Ohau!

This was an excellent bargain in a relatively quoet area of Waikiki. We enjoyed our balcony view overlooking the terrace where there was entertainment FR-SA-SU evenings.
Very centrally located, and free assigned parking was a great bonus.
There were some electrical issues due to a blown transformer, but the scheduled power outages were during the day when we were out.
Elevator capacity and wait times were the main issue due to back up generators, but a minor issue overall.
There were power cords and commercial portable fans in our hallway, apparently due to an overflowed bathtub on an upper floor.
Our host Jean was very helpful, and available to answer any pf our questions.
Beautiful view of the marina from our room. We were surprised that there were probably 500 boats, but very little activity.
The 2 pools were very nice, and we enjoyed laying on the lounge chairs and swimming.
Overall this was an excellent vacation experience!!

The unit is nice and clean. It is like all the units in the building. The plus of this one is the parking spot which saves $45 a night. The parking spot is tight so get a smaller car. View is nice but only the 3rd floor so not spectacular like higher floors.

Highly recommend this unit if you’re looking to stay in Waikiki. It was clean and spacious and having parking included was a huge bonus as that is quite expensive. The view was very pretty and building amenities are very nice; you’re walking to everything you would want to be within Waikiki. Management was quick to respond when I had questions. I will rent from again. Mahalo!

We liked the location of the condo. 3rd floor has a view of the harbor and the inner patio area. We also had a parking slot for the rental van that was convenient. The lanai was a good spot to watch the sunsets and have coffee and breakfast on. But it would of been better if both of the lanai doors could of open fully, only one of them was able to open the other was stuck closed. Did tell the property manager but he said couldn't fix it in a timely manner. We also had to move the Livingroom table next to the wall it was very unstable. We also noticed we had to vacuum the carpet around the sofa everyday, because we noticed as we thought it was sand but found out that it was something eating through the wood legs on the sofa was making that pile of shavings everyday. We took pictures of that bug process and sent it to the property manager and no response to resolve that issue. Also this was to be a non smoking hotel but it seem every time we got into the hallway we smelt smoke. The washer and dryers were not working on our floor, told property manager he told us the day we had to leave that 5 or so floors above us were working. That was a great inconvenience, since it was in the vrbo stating that there was a washer and dryer on that floor. With that information also swayed decision to stay at that condo for convenience. With two grandsons with us it would of been nice to have. There were restaurants and a coffee shop and an ice cream parlor and a small general store on the main floor. That was very nice to have so close and convenient. The pool water was warmer then bath water. The lagoon was a fun place to spend time at. If I get another chance to go back I would like to stay at the condo again. Hopefully with all the issues taken care of - that would be close to perfect! :)

We were booked for a total of 35 days but because of cardiac problems with Darlene we were forced to return to Canada and cut our vacation short. This proved to be the right decision as Darlene had stenting of the left anterior descending coronary artery that was nearly completely blocked. This was carried out in Winnipeg MB on Feb 12. Needless to say we were reluctant to leave your comfortable suite in the Ilikai.We were pleased overall with the suite. We had to buy extra cutlery and additional wine glasses but this was the only minor deficiency.

Ilikai #341 was a very good accommodation for this trip to Hawaii. Three family members enjoyed a week in Waikiki staying at this Ilikai condo. Property was as advertised, and we especially enjoyed the 3rd floor location and lanai which looks out over Ala Moana marina, beautiful sunsets and a main level outdoor plaza where there were music events a number of evenings. The unit is comfortable but dated. The King mattress isn't great but the fold out couch was acceptable. In the kitchen there were multiple fry pans, but one cereal bowl and one large and one small spoon. No wine glasses so we used water glasses a couple times. We paid a mandatory $160 cleaning fee, but air vents in bathroom and above kitchen stove were filthy. Lanai door handle side also caked with dust/dirt and door latch was loose though we had no safety concerns and slept with that door open each night. A/C unit worked fine but didn't use much. No cable TV, but internet TV stations allowed some viewing of news channels, etc. Underground parking is included which is very convenient. A leak from upstairs A/C unit interrupted our lanai usage for 3 days. We called property manager who told us to put a towel on the rail to stop the splash. The next morning there was a notice under our door telling us to remove the towel from rail. Left message with property manager with no response. Generally positive experience, thank you!

Just off the main road, you turn in to park your car. Catch the elevator up to the 3rd floor, walk down the hall, and open the door to a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the marina. It was very comfortable and everything you many need is available.
There’s a general store, spa, and ice cream shop in the lobby around the corner from the elevator hall.
I’m a littlle picky when it comes to the cleaning, so I ended up buying Clorox wipes and cleaned the surfaces and the floor. Cleaning supplies were in the closet next to the clean towels. Not much room to hang your clothes next to mop and bucket.

First about cleanness: the dishes were dirty, the blanket used, dirty and unwashed (we asked for a new one and they provide).
The building is quite old and dirty.
Every morning about 6AM o 7AM a strong smell of cooking comes into the room. That's terrible experience we had there even cant sleep because of smell and it as too bad.
The place is very close to the best beach there but far from restaurants.

The location is perfect! It is away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki, and so convenient to everything. The view from the balcony and the hotel itself is breathtaking overlooking the marina and the ocean.
The room is perfect and not having to carry a room key and private parking is a huge plus as well as the availability of the beach chair. AC worked perfectly as well as water pressure in the shower. We didn't use the kitchen except for the microwave. Overall we were very happy with our stay and will plan to return! Thank you to Paul and Captain Cook Resort for being quick response to any questions.!

The Ilikai has it all!!! We absolutely loved the location of the condo along Waikiki. The short walk to the beach was close enough, without being too deep into the hustle and bustle of the busy tourist area. We can't emphasize enough, the convenience of having all of the shops and restaurants in the lobby of the building. Being able to run downstairs to grab a bite to eat, pick up a coffee, or find medication was extremely useful. The room itself also exceeded expectations. The space is larger than a traditional hotel room, which enabled us to spread out and store all of the gifts we bought without feeling too cramped. Being on the 3rd floor does allow for more noise to be heard in the room, but for the most part, the sliding glass doors did a decent job muting most of the conversations happening in the courtyard. Being able to hear some of the music being played was actually kind of pleasant. The major plus, is that the room comes with a reserved parking spot in the covered garage beneath the building. Most other locations along Waikiki either don't have parking, or charge a ridiculous nightly fee. We also have to highlight how pleasant Paul the property manager was to work with. He was very responsive every time we called and made every effort to accommodate us. The only note I would make clear to future guests is that the laundry is a coin operated communal shared machine with the rest of the floor, so you don't really have free access to wash your clothes whenever you want. We honestly hope to stay at the Ilikai again on our next visit to Oahu.

First of all, we enjoyed our view of the ocean, boat harbor and the courtyard below to people-watch and listen to the tunes provided by the restaurant/ bar next door. We ate our meals out on the wide balcony that spanned the entire studio. Many newer hotels offer short balconies where only a couple chairs and a side table could fit, so we appreciated the extra space very much. The bed and sofa bed were comfortable for our family of 4 (two girls between ages of 10 - 13). The place offered great access to the Hilton Lagoon for swimming, aquabiking and paddleboarding. And we especially loved how we could take the paddleboard out to the calm ocean spot out by the canoes and rockwall. Great stay!

For the price it's a bed, shower with AC.The pull out bed sinks to the middle because well it's a "pullout" which is hard for two people to sleep on. There was also a weird smell that after 4 days we tracked down to be coming from the kitchen sink.The shower pressure isn't very good but I think this is normal as our other stays have been the same. It is good enough to get the job done. :)The view from the balcony was worth it getting to see the sunsets from it. For those who are light sleepers it can be noisy. There is loud music and car traffic at times of the day/night. Didn't bother us but just a warning for others.Over all for the price I'd say if it's only two people this is a great value. If there are 4 adults I feel for whoever draws the pullout. The AC in the room worked really well. There were others who we talked to that had issues. It is close to shopping and restaurants if you like things you can eat at home. The good food is usually a drive somewhere else.
