The two separate bedrooms and bathrooms worked well. The kitchen was fully stocked. Plenty of towels and beach chairs.
We took advantage of the full gym and the pool and hot tub.
The local beach was never crowded and there was an area to snorkel. The cabana was helpful during the day as we didnt need to bring towels or chairs.
The resort side (Kaanapali beach) had surf lessons, boat cruises, restaurants and shops. Its about a 15 minute walk (with kids who dont like walkimg) and there is parking if you want to drive.
Overall it felt like a good deal.

We love Maui Eldorado. This was our first time in this unit and although a little dated it was clean, had ALL the amenities and was the right price! We extended our stay because the rate was so affordable for everything included.
The small second bedroom was fine for our 4 year old. It was comfortable and the perfect size for her away from the living room.
Our favorite resort features are the huge beach cabana with fridge and stove for lunch without a trip back to the room. Golf cart rides although sometimes delayed made the short walk even better. Most of all the beach on this side of black rock is more comfortable, quieter and even better snorkeling. All the fun and restaurants of Kaanapali is a short walk. We will be back and consider this unit!

Gilbert’s place was awesome for me, my wife and our two daughters (7 and 5). The place was nestled between a golf course which actually made the views even more beautiful. The place had a pool and rec deck that was literally 50 ft from the back doors of the place. We enjoyed morning walks to coffee, smoothies and the beach (5 min walk from the unit). A really great place and great value! Thanks again, Gilbert!

While the owner was nice and promised to refund my unused nights, the property was not as described. Not a true 2 bedroom, not updated. Very disappointing as I have previously stayed at this resort and loved it,that's why I came back. Not a good experience on this trip.

We loved it. Our stay at Glbert's place was amazing, The accommodations are great, very clean, quiet, close to everything. The room was spacious has everything you would need including chairs for the beach snorkel gear etc. and a good location it was close to the lobby and the pool, as well as parking! Short easy walk to the beach and cabana. We were within driving distance of all other resorts and amenities like Whaler’s village, etc. We were with in walking distance of a place called black rock right by the Sheraton so the others in the party could go cliff diving and snorkelling (NOT ME ) LOL They weather was great the whole time we were there we very busy and was very nice and relaxing to come back to condo after a day of driving. Would definitely stay here again! Thank You so very much Gilbert for letting us stay at your condo. And if time allows would love some day to be able to come back.

My family of 5 really enjoyed staying at the Eldurado. The condo was clean and easily sleeps 5 people. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with utensils and gadgets. Condo was super close to pool and fitness room. The walk to the beach is super short... maybe half of a mile. Highly recommend staying at this location.

We loved staying at the Eldorado Resort in Maui. Our place was very spacious and we appreciated having the 2nd bathroom and large living area. We often ate our meals outside on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. There was an outside closet filled with beach supplies like snorkel gear, lawn chairs, coolers, etc. The beach was close and gorgeous! We would definitely stay there again.

We loved Gilbert’s Place! The short walk to the beach, the whales breaching in the distance and the beach toys that were available for use were all great bonuses. Many reviews of the 2nd bedroom had us worried, but it worked perfectly fine for my family. The living area furniture was a little outdated but that didn’t affect our stay whatsoever. Beds are on the firm side and our whole group slept great. I give it overall 5 stars. Only regret is not booking longer.

The beds are AWFUL, the pillows even worse. The couch and chairs are from the 70s, literally not one single actually comfortable place to sit or sleep. The washer is also DISGUSTING AND SMELLS HORRID. We stayed here for a “new” place hoping for good, at the price I didn’t expect great, but literally DID NOT SLEEP WELL for 10 days. The 2nd “bedroom” is an old closet I think and is INSANELY HOT. The pool looks like it’s never been cleaned, the corm hole boards were broken, bocce ball was missing it’s parts. If I owned this unit, I would question what my “maintenance fees” even go to. There was a dead rat on the sidewalk the entire stay. The kitchen was filled with sugar ants from the minute we got there, we dealt with them, but I’m curious how many I accidentally ate. Genuinely needs a TON of updating before I’d recommend this place, or condo development to anyone!! Gilbert was nice, good at communication, allowed late check out, that was great. But the place itself, just no.

My family stayed for 10 nights recently and for the price it’s hard to complain! Location is great and front desk staff is great! Host was helpful also. A few downsides was that the place is pretty outdated and you could smell it! We bought a candle...Way too much furniture that clutters the main space and it all pretty awkward! Also the air conditioning clicks and clunks all night as it goes on and off which drove us kinda crazy until you actually fell asleep or just turned it off, but then it would get muggy! The bathtub wouldn’t stay filled up but maybe an inch or two of water so baths weren’t very fun for the kids! Shower worked great tho! All in all just remember you get what you pay for!!

Property is pretty accurate. However this as a two bedroom property is not fully functional as a two bedroom. Second bedroom has been converted from something, only has an accordion door and no vents. This room even with ceiling fan and pedestal fan is unbearably hot.
There is no vacuum or swiffer available, only a couple of older brooms which makes cleaning the floor almost impossible.
This was a last minute booking so we were just happy to find a property available, however we would not stay at this unit again. Furniture was not comfortable and unit is in dire need of an update.

We stayed here for 2 weeks in early April and it was fantastic! The place is well stocked with everything you need whether it is in the kitchen or bedroom or living room and even has lots of toys and equipment for the beach. We loved the direct access to our outdoor/backyard area and close proximity to the pool. This is our third stay in Maui and we love this unit and would most definitely stay there again!
