It was my wife and I along with our 16 year old, 13 year old and our 9 year old children and we really enjoyed the condo and the resort. We loved that it was close to one of the beaches and some great restaurants. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area

The location is great as prefer S Kihei and close to best beaches. The pool was just around corner of condo and quite nice. Nice big deck downstairs but hot in afternoon. Upstairs deck not usable w/ hot a/c air blowing. The biggest downside was the stairs to get into condo & upper BR. Knew there were stairs but didn’t realize how many/how steep. In shape but hard taking suitcases up/down & tired after day at beach. You can’t just walk to beaches, restaurants, etc like you can most condos in area. Unit is located near top of steep hill so had to drive everywhere. We had family of 5 staying here including 3 y.o. who got up early. We could hear everyone downstairs from upstairs bedrm (closed off by sliding shutters) even if they just coughed. My granddaughter was pretty quiet but know your group if that will work for you. Lots of beach toys, snorkel, boards etc. all stocked in deck closet. My son and dtr-in-law both said they enjoyed their stay but concerned that stove knobs turned the stove on with slightest of bump if near it. 1st time, it burned a pizza box sitting on it. We smelled it quickly but stove got turned on high several times during stay without pushing any knobs. We were then hyper-vigilante to check it before leaving kitchen and not let toddler go in. There should be sign in kitchen warning of this. They should replace it as oven doesn’t display temperature either & also old shag carpet. We found ants in shower downstairs bathrm last night, coming from fan.

Our family enjoyed the peace and beauty of the Maui Kamaole grounds. We love the nearby beaches and great food options. The condo location was at the back of the development, right next to the tennis courts and a minute from the upper pool. We enjoyed tennis (rackets and balls at the condo) and utilizing the beach chairs, umbrellas and snorkel gear. Even tried out the surfboard!

We had an extended family meet up in Maui and all stayed in condo units at Maui Kamaole. It was a perfect place to gather! This condo is bright, comfortable and spacious. It worked very well for our family. The upper pool area was where we spent the most time as it provides both sun and shade. The tennis courts were very nice as they have been redone recently and the surface is superb! The BBQ area next to the tennis courts worked very well to have our extended family meet up for communal dinners. The grounds, pools and BBQs are very well maintained. We will definitely return!

Our family planned this trip to celebrate Christmas and an early graduation trip for our oldest son. We had a fabulous time. The condo had everything we needed for a relaxing and stress free holiday. Perfect location. We couldnt have asked for a better spot in Kihei. Close to beautiful beaches, food, downtown and nightly sunsets. Because the unit is at the very top, it was quiet and away from the busy streets. We LOVED the beautiful pool that was so close to our unit. We were comfortable and appreciated the well stocked kitchen. The unit was clean.
A few suggestions?
1.The carpet, even with its dirt hiding color, had quite a few dirty spots. To be honest, we wore slippers most of the time because the carpet really didnt look clean. I know its a large expense, but new flooring, preferably not carpet, would enhance this condo tremendously!
2. A slightly heavier shower curtain in the downstairs bathroom. Its so thin that it blows inward toward you when showering. It drive me a little crazy until started pressing it down all around the tub to make it stay in place.
3. Theres absolutely no cupboard space provided for food storage. May I suggest you eliminate one of the entire shelves of wine glasses, because you have another shelf full of them and allow for some food space for our groceries? Really, you only need about 6 wine glasses.
4. The couch is comfortable, but used, and getting quite dirty on the arms and cusions. The condo is clean, but the carpet and couch make it feel dirty and not fresh.
5. Of coarse the AC went out and this was pretty aweful for our friends who stayed in the upstairs bedroom. Sleeping proved to be difficult. Thank you!

Angie and Tom’s home is A+ perfect! We are a family of 5 and we were very comfortable in the space provided, even had another family of 4 join us for dinner one night and still had lots of space. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you’ll need to cook or to use if you decide to order in. The beds were comfy and allowed us to have a restful sleep. Angie is incredibly responsive if you have any questions or concerns during your stay. The pool area is lovely and provided a nice alternative to the nearby beaches. The location is perfect as you are less than 5 minutes away from Wailea and a very close drive to Kamaole Beaches 2 and 3. Also there are beach toys/equipment in the unit which was so convenient to have. All in all, highly recommend and this is a place we would definitely return to!! Thanks again Angie and Tom!

The condo was perfect. Comfortable and well appointed. We had everything we needed and more. Beach chairs, umbrella, and beach toys were awesome. The property is centrally located on the island. Made exploring beaches around the island easy. Many restaurants and shops within walking distance… and of course the beach across the street. The owners were very quick to respond to emails and provided all the information needed for easy check in.

We've stayed at many units in Maui Kamaole over the years, and needed one that could accommodate our now-bigger kiddos (ages 7 and 9) and three grown adults. Tom and Angie's unit was the perfect fit for us, thanks to the wonderful alcove bed on the bottom level!
We couldn't have had a lovelier, more comfortable stay. Their unit is beautifully and thoughtfully appointed, and we had everything we needed. We also had the most spectacular star gazing on the deck! Their deck has a completely secluded view, so there's no light coming from other condos, and it made for some dreamy evenings looking up at the sky. (And plenty of shooting stars.) With our eldest graduating high school, we wanted to take the kids on a family vacation and needed a place that would comfortably allow for the five of us - and this place was perfect! Absolutely adorable, plenty of room, clean and well supplied-including stuff for the beach like chairs and boogieboards! The location was close to beaches as well as restaurants and such, and we enjoyed the option to cook breakfast at home or enjoy take out comfortably. We would definitely recommend their place as an option for a family, and we would return in a heartbeat!

We have stayed at many units in Maui Kamaole over the years and M208 is now one of our favorites. The little things that matter… super comfortable beds, Cool beach vibe decor, extra beach and pool gear ….
Angie is an amazing host. Super great communication and very accommodating. Basically I walked away with the impression that she would do whatever she could to make our stay even more enjoyable.

Our family of five stayed here for two weeks and had a wonderful stay! The condo is far back from the road so there isn’t any noise from the street. The proximity to all of the gorgeous south Maui beaches is perfect. The quiet pool was close by and my kids loved it. This unit was able to accommodate 3 twin beds in a room - with three children one always ends up on a hide-a-bed but not this time! The unit was clean, there were tons of towels and beach items, the kitchen was well stocked-everything and anything we needed was here. Angie was a perfect host and we can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!

Fantastic stay! Every step was easy and enjoyable. The place is set up perfectly for a beach vacation with everything you need. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking and drink making supplies. Only downside was a few broken beach chairs/umbrellas, but this would not stop us from booking again. Owners were responsive and helpful. Overall a great find!

We had an amazing time staying in this condo. We thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities the property had to offer (2 pools and the tennis courts). Everyone was friendly and we met a lot of different neighbors when we were out and about. The beach along with shops and restaurants was a short walk away. All in all, it enhanced our already great vacation!

We had everything we needed and more. Chairs for the beach, equipment for snorkeling, tennis, golf, ocean fun and more. Comfortable beds, air conditioners in each room so we were never too hot, great lanai and an awesome BBQ area right outside the unit. The pool and hot tub were amazing too. The beach was a short walk down a hill with a park that hosted spontaneous entertainment and has spectacular sunrises and sunsets. I can’t say enough good things about it. Hoping to return soon.

Property was spacious enough for our family of five. The neighborhood was quiet about a 15 minute walk to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pans for cooking meals. We appreciated all of the beach equipment included—beach towels, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, beach mat and cooler. Made it convenient so we did not have to rent equipment every day. I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic condo, right across the street from the water (beautiful sunsets there) & tons of amenities from the condo owners (coolers, fins, snorkel masks, beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys, sand mats, and even more. The condo itself is perfect for a family or two couples, both rooms are private enough & have their own lanai. AC in every room & very well cleaned and maintained. The kitchen was fully stocked with cups, mugs, pots, pans, plates, coffee maker and tea kettle. The owners were very responsive and so helpful & we cannot wait to stay again (hopefully much longer next time).

The condo was perfect! The location was most ideal as it was close to all the Kam beaches and waliea! The condo was in a quiet location near pool and hot tub free from a lot of noise which was what we wanted in a rental. If you want a family friendly environment then this is the condo to rent. What also sold us is that it was fully stocked with all beach gear: chairs, boogie boards etc. We highly recommend staying in 208!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The property is very nice. One of the pools is just around the corner from the unit. Grills and washing stations were close as well. The condo was fully stocked with dishware and appliances. There was also plenty of beach supplies which is a nice perk! The beds were very comfortable. The Kihei boat launch was directly across the street from the complex. So the condo is walkable distance from most bars, restaurants and beaches in the area.
There was a minor issue with the AC unit filters not being clean. The owner was very responsive and sent a maintenance person to address it the same day. Things to be aware of: The downstairs bedroom could benefit from blinds or blackout curtains. My kids were awake at 5:45am every morning. Also, the stove top knobs are very easily turned on if bumped. Kind of a safety issue if we had not noticed. No welcome waters or snacks... A few bottles of water and small snacks would have been nice when we arrived.
The owners are easily reached and responsive. Everything we needed to feel at home was there. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this condo.

It would have been good to know this unit is on the 2nd floor. As someone with mobility issues it was not ideal . The homeowners do offer beach toys , chairs and umbrella very was very handy.
We found 2 of 3 TVs inoperable , could have been an issue with multiple remotes ? Masterbath in loft is spacious , water pressure is low.
King bed is older not comfortable .
Newer appliances but very old shag carpet. I gave this property a good review due to owners prompt communications and the general location . Overall an affordable family option in Maui.

There are so many great things about choosing this condo. I picked this vacation rental because it is bigger than some of the others in this price range, provides a private master bedroom, has three lanais, and offers comfortable furniture for resting after adventures.
After our trip we added many other positives to the list! First, Angie is awesome and so accommodating. The location of the condo in the complex is great. You are steps from the bbq area and tennis courts, and my 7-year-old’s favorite pool was right around the corner. There was construction going on and we didn’t hear it in the condo. We never visited Kam III, as we enjoyed the beaches in Wailea (check out Oneuli!), but it is in walking distance.
The condo is stocked! Tons of beach gear and all kitchenware needed for cooking is waiting for you when you arrive.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at this rental. We arrived early and Angie accommodated us. We are a family of 5 and this 2 bedroom worked perfectly, and it was so convenient having pak n play and high chair for us to use for the baby. One thing to note that this unit is in the very back of the property, so its a bit of a hike uphill if you're coming back from the beach (and have grumpy toddlers with you lol). On the flip side, the location makes it super quiet and peaceful. Would absolutely stay at this unit again!

What a well decorated and comfortable place. Felt like home as soon as we pulled up. Loved the private and quiet location in the back near the gazebo grill and tennis courts. Even tried a family game! A lot of thought and details provided at this unit. Softest sheets in the world and very comfortable beds. Clean unit, large kitchen and plenty of hanging around space.
Three balconies to sit on and enjoy the moment. Beautiful dark sky viewing off the main balcony each evening. Short, tropical walk past 3 different color hibiscus to the themed oasis pool and hot tub (larger in person). Tables and shade to have lunch at the pool one day. Stayed with our 2 boys (20 & 17). We chose the 1st floor bedroom and sent them upstairs. We watched a movie and used the boogie boards, chairs and tennis equipment. Would love to make a similar place home one day.

This condo was perfect for our family of four plus MIL for 9 days over Christmas. There was plenty of room for all of us, and the kitchen was well stocked for meals at the condo. The property was very lovely, and we enjoyed the pool area daily. The closet on the lanai was stocked with golf clubs, tennis rackets, and beach equipment that we used throughout our stay.
There's a nice beach within a .5 mile walk from the condo where we visited for sunrise and sunset, or you can take a short drive to any number of beautiful beaches for day trips.
This is a wonderful area on Maui to stay - a little more laid back than the Ka'anapaali side (in my opinion.)

I had stayed at the Maui Kamaole before and had been very impressed with the location, grounds and overall condition of the property. This time, I stayed at M-208, a second floor unit near the back of the property and close to my favorite pool and spa. After my stay, I am still very impressed by it all, if not more so.
The unit was well furnished with both comfortable digs on the inside and a treasure trove of beach toys and sports gear in a couple of locations. A lot of great touches were found, from a wall painting of the outline of the Hawaiian Islands to personal pictures of scenes going up to the loft master bedroom. That was the bed I slept in and it was truly comfortable with an assortment of pillows available all over the unit. The kitchen was well equipped and we made several meals there over the 8 days we occupied the unit.
I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable vacation to the South Maui area. Beaches are right across the street and ample food choices are located both north and south on S Kihei Road.

The location of this condo is excellent. Close to town, multiple beaches and a 1 minute walk to a gorgeous pool hot tub areas. BBQ grills, tennis courts and parking spot are right 30 seconds away. The Condo is very comfortable and lots of kitchen and beach amenities. Also tennis rackets and golf clubs. We have 18 twins daughters and 14 year old son so the three separate beds in the main floor bedroom was fantastic. So hard to find good accommodations for family of 5 - someone usually has to sleep on sofa bed. Having the option of a King and single or 3 twins in this bedroom makes this until ideal for families. The King suite on the second level is nice to have a separate space. It is our second time staying in this until because the location and great value. Maui Kamole is our favourite place to stay in Kihei. Check out Keawakapu Wailea-Ekahi Public Beach Access just down the street and the public access and public parking at Makena Surf beach. These hidden gems are great and easy to come back for lunch. Angie was great to deal with and super fast in communicating. It’s so much nicer to deal with owners over property managers, especially during this time when travel arrangements can change last minute. Love the shoe holder on the back of the front door. Thanks Angie for helping make our Maui trip great.

It’s a terrific condo in an ideal location near beach and town with lots of restaurants nearby. The pool and hot tub are lovely as are the tennis courts. Traveled the whole island, hiked and enjoyed the magnificent nature and waterfalls that are Maui. Angie is very responsive!
