Unbeatable ocean views. Unit was nicely appointed but had a few small things that could make it just that much better - couple kitchen cabinets don’t close, pillows are flat, and balcony screen door badly needs to be fixed. Overall, great spot.

Awesome view from lanai. Can't get any closer to ocean! Close to shops/restaurants but far enough away for peace and quiet. Easy parking. Had slight issue with check in- room was not ready- but communication with property mgr was excellent. Had room prepared within an hour. The 'central air' exhaust blows on lanai, making lanai hot, turn ac off to enjoy lanai. No biggie. Awesome shower but hot water goes quick. Kitchen packed with anything needed. Positives outweigh any negatives by far at this property. If unsure on a place, take this one.

8 other individuals from our family stayed at the same condo property in two 4 bedroom condos. Their condos were upgraded and very nice. Ours was more rustic, but at the same time more beachy. Given the price, comfort and view we were pleased with our studio condo. The owners and project manager were great and very accommodating; responded quickly. Only recommendations is that the clean and organize the condo better and clean/dust under the furniture and all the shelving units. My allergies were bad.

This condo is truly ocean front and the views from the balcony are amazing! We loved watching the surf hit the shore with the white foam washing up against the black lava rocks. We saw large turtles swimming in the shallow water a number of times which was also a lot of fun. The bathroom is quite modern and the tub is jetted with a wonderful rain shower. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed very comfortable. We definitely hope to be able to get back again one of these days.

Property was just as listed and we enjoyed the breathtaking view from the lanai each morning. Location was great, easy drive to town and parking was simple and close to the condo making trips back and forth a breeze! Enjoyed the beach equipment they had available for use as well- snorkels, pool noodles, boogie board, beach chairs, beach towels, and cooler for our beach outings! Make sure to bring shampoo/conditioner/body wash as only hand soap was included with the rental, which was no issue for us :)

The view of the ocean and sunsets can only be rivaled by the sound of the waves crashing into the rocks and the sea turtles in the tide pool. I cannot express enough how amazing the view is. Being the end unit on the top floor means a private lanai. It is located just a smidge south of the main Kona drag making it quiet, yet convenient. Highly recommend!

Nicely appointed studio on the end of the building - a bit more road noise. Beautiful view. Comfortable bed. The unit is on the fourth floor and the elevator is a ways down the hall. We enjoyed taking the stairs right down to our parked car but a person with mobility issues might have difficulty.

A beautiful property with everything you could need. The views from the 4th floor balcony were amazing - we could look for whales (and there were many!) and watch the sunsets. Comfortable and convenient to Kailua as well as exploring the rest of the Big Island. This is an awesome place to stay.

I really loved my stay at this apartment. The views from the balcony were so amazing, enjoying sunsets at night and watching and listening to waves. The apartment has all you will need. Parking is included. It takes you a few minutes to Kona (by car) and to a few beaches. The latter you can also reach easily by foot in a few minutes. Great experience. I will definitely recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Kona.

Mike’s communication is excellent. After booking, I received an email with all kinds of helpful information. Directions, restaurants, and activities were all included.
The condo was clean and exactly as described.
We spent most evenings on the lanai, watching sunsets and even saw the “green flash” on 3 of the 6 nights we stayed.
Only saw one turtle once but we watched one evening as a kayaker brought a 3’ blue fin tuna in. Now that is something you don’t see at home.
The bed is very comfortable and we slept very well with the waves drowning out much of the traffic noise.
The lighting the the bathroom could use some work as it is pretty dark in that room.
Despite paying a cleaning fee, you are asked to take out the trash and place towels in the washer and if time permits, put in the dryer.
But that would not stop us from renting again if we ever returned to the Big Island.

The views from the balcony are just as stunning as indicated in the listing photos. No trick photography here - it was great! The little beach area at the other end of the complex was another easy option for relaxing and the location is super convenient to all sorts of things. Mike is easy to work with and very responsive. He sent us a terrific guide to things to do and places to eat. Unit is clean and well-equipped.

This place was so fantastic. Cozy, clean and comfortable. And the view was amazing. We had the patio door open and the entry door open and the cross breeze keep it so cool that we never needed the air conditioner. Owner Mike was available to answer any questions even when I had a senior moment! I would highly recommend this place, and hope to some day get to stay again. Overall this was a great rental. It was a nice, private location with little to no noise from neighbors and close enough to get to restaurants and shops quickly with a short drive. Being a corner room was great for the views, but unfortunately had a little bit of noise from the traffic. But that was only noticable while on the lanai, didn't affect sleeping at all.
The condo itself was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Would have gotten 5 stars except we had one run in with ants even though we didn't have food out on the counters. After a thorough wipe down, they didn't return.
There was some construction or something going on in the parking garage that made it a little difficult to get in and out at times.
We spent most of our time exploring the island, so overall this was a great, safe place to come back to each night.

From start to finish this property and owner did not disappoint! I was so sad to leave: comfortable, clean and modem. Spent lots of time on the lanai watching the sea turtles. The ocean waves were phenomenal. We slept with the door open.

Comfortable bed, the A/C works extremely well and was quick to cool off the room, and the ocean view is what you pay for. Perfect for what my partner and I needed for our stay.
Be aware, no shampoo or conditioner, and we only found the bars of soap hidden away above the washer/dryer unit once we were getting ready to check out. So bring your own shampoo/conditioner at least!

We rose every morning to a beautiful sunrise and coffee on the deck. Every evening ended with a lovely sunset and a glass of wine. The sound of the surf was calming. Pure heaven! The king bed was very comfortable. The tub shower condo is larger that in looks in the pictures. We loved watching the sea turtles and the surfers. We arrived much later and much more frazzled than expected due to errors on my own part. The owner was responsive and helpful even at the late hour when we asked for help. He called us the next day to make sure that all was well. I cannot overestimate how good it felt to have him in our corner! Highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed in this studio unit for 4 nights. We loved the oceanfront location, especially being lulled to sleep at night to the sound of the waves. We only needed the air conditioner once as the ocean breezes usually kept the temperature cool enough. We enjoyed seeing both fish in the water and the head of turtles as they would pop up in the surf right below the unit. The condo is well stocked and the bed is very comfortable. The owner is great to work with - we highly recommend this place!

This property is beautiful and just as listed. The view from the lanai for whale watching, ocean viewing and just relaxing or enjoying a home cooked meal is next to none. The unit's kitchen has more equipment and supplies than any we've ever rented before. This is important to us as we eat almost all meals in after touring all day. A washer/dryer in the unit was a big A+! The reason for four stars in location is that the entire complex is on a very busy road in Kona, but if you visit any place in Hawaii, roads are busy and this can be expected. This is a wonderful unit!!

We had an awesome time at Mike's condo. The view of the ocean from the balcony was stunning and we spent many hours just sitting on the balcony enjoying the view. We were able to see dolphins, a whale, a couple of sharks and several schools of fish from the balcony. It was amazing!
The condo is clean and well maintained and Mike is very proactive at giving information and instructions about the condo and the island in general. My wife and I had a wonderful time and would recommend this condo to anyone who is looking for a great place to sdtay on thew Big Island.

Perfect for an extended stay in Kona. BBQ s were new and in great condition. Pool area very nice but more enclosed so not as nice to hang out. Most condo pools are next to the beach and outdoors.

Really wish I’d been able to stay here longer. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, great location. Only thing that might be good to know is bathtub is very high to step into, and the church close by is pretty loud at 7:30am on Sunday morning. Otherwise this place is near perfect. The communication with the property owner was exceptional from the beginning to the end. Had to cancel and rebook due to pandemic work related issues and the owner worked it out amazingly well for us. Spent 13 days here on the big island and the condo was perfect all the way around. Super clean, bug free, all amenities one could ask for. The views from the lanai were spectacular. Had breakfast and coffee many of the mornings. You could see all colors of fish and plenty of turtles just below the lanai. Sunsets from the lanai are also unforgettable. This property was a good jump off point to many of the things we did on the island , from luaus, sunset dinner cruise, helicopter tour and all the beaches. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone staying on the island. Thank you Mike for opp pop ending up this amazing property.

Perfect getaway and the condo is at the end of the high traffic/tourist area, so it’s even quieter. Condo was exactly as listed and had everything that we could of needed/used. Sunsets on the lanai were absolutely beautiful and we could even see fish from there. Mike is a wonderful host. Not only opens up his condo but everything supply wise is there for guests. Beach chairs and snorkel gear also available! He provides a very well detailed email on how to work features of the condo (directions from airport, parking, internet, cable, etc). This was super helpful and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend this condo to others!

Bali Kai 425 is an excellent studio condo well stocked and with great views right above the ocean. Saw dolphins daily. AC and Washer and dryer are great. Overall excellent. Mike very responsive and easy to communicate with. Only slight thing for us was bed and pillows were too hard-- but just may be us. Everything else was great.

We really enjoyed the place. it is literally steps from the water. we left the doors open to hear the waves all night long. So relaxing. We were visiting during the early stages of the Corona Virus pandemic in Hawaii, so we bought food and provisions and stayed at the Condo. Most public places were closed, so fortunately we have food for meals and we able to use the beach directly in front of the Condo. Overall a great location and would definitely return again
