This condo was great, we will be back for sure! Peekaboo view of the ocean and a short 10-15 walk to the beach cabana. We have stayed at other condos in the Eldorado before and this one is top 3! The bedroom with two beds is huge so it fit our family of 3 just fine.
Wish the hot tub at the pool was open, next time.

The condo was in a perfect location within walking distance to almost everything!! There was plenty of parking, a shuttle to take you to Whaler's Village area and 3 pools! The condo was very roomy and had everything you need, including a washer and dryer! We can't wait to come back!!

We had a wonderful stay in this unit and it felt like home. Lots of AC options including a large lanai where we enjoyed meals, reading, and looking at the views. Lots of hangers and drawers for clothing. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were comfortable, and, the whole living arrangement was comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped. Overall there are too many plusses to mention.
Our host(ess) was very accommodating to our special requests and went above and beyond expectations.

Anka was quick to respond to any communications. The unit is next to the bbq area and main pool/jacuzzi so it was very convenient. The beach cabana cant be beat.The unit was perfect for a paarty of six. Mahalo!

Condo is a little dated; kitchen and bathroom fixtures are oxidizing, rug has seen better days and some light fixtures don’t work. Definitely need better cushions on outdoor wooden seats.
Having said all of this we still had a really nice week here.

The condo was a great central base for our time in Maui and provided us with enough space for our family. We really liked the living room and kitchen, as well as the privacy of the bedroom. Hanging out in the balcony enjoying our coffee before starting the day.
The best thing is the location - so close to the cabana, Black Rock, and pretty much anything we needed.
Some of the items are a bit dated, but everything worked. We were very happy and can’t wait to return.

We really enjoyed having two bathrooms. The kitchen was just the right size for the two of us! It’s just a short walk to the beach cabana or Whaler’s Village for shopping, eating and watching sunset ceremony at black rock!

Online photos do not reflect current condition of unit. Kitchen appliances are old and dishwasher barely functions (dishes do not come out clean). Very disappointed that there were no spices or condiments of any kind, not even salt and pepper! Dryer had no heat until a repairman fixed it 5 days after our arrival. Mold and rust around A/C unit.

Upon checkin the room had not been cleaned. After traveling all day with little kids we walked in to a nightmare. Trash piled up on the lanai. Filth everywhere. Called the property manager and then sat there for an hour until they could find us another room for the night. Then had to move all of our groceries and luggage to the new room. The next day when leaving for a dinner reservation was told the original room was ready so we moved all our stuff AGAIN. And we were late to dinner. The room had been cleaned but it was not ok. The lanai had not been mopped. Trash residue all over and old bird poop. The track for the sliding doors looks like someone cleaned them 1982. Things had an inch of dust on them. The kitchen was infested with ants. The kitchen itself is disgusting. Floor cabinets etc. the bathrooms are full of mold. The entire place is carpeted and gross. Bathrooms included. There is exposed plumbing and electrical. The panel came off the kitchen sink numerous times so you could see the nastiness under it. The pm did refund us a small amount but not an amount that was in line with the state of this room. I can deal with dated and needs a remodel but this place is just gross. It’s like rent by the hour no tell motel status. We have stayed at the ME 12+ times over the past 11 years and never encountered a stay like this. The beds were comfy. The water pressure in the shower amazing. That’s the extent of my pros. The lanai furniture is super old and very uncomfortable.

Posting this review a few months late, but I can only think of extremely positive things to say about this unit.
- apartment was very functional, comfortable, and well laid out. Great decor
- 4 adults were very comfortable here for 10 days
- well stocked kitchen and good walkability to barbecues
- huge balcony, great view, and very comfortable outdoor seating
- communication with the host was very quick and she went above and beyond to accommodate us during our stay
We would return to this exact unit if we repeated our trip to west Maui.

We loved staying at this property! This is our third time here and we plan to keep coming back. It is reasonably priced (for this area) and has everything we need, two bathrooms, two beds in a bedroom, small kitchen, roomy living/dining area and lovely lanai with a view of molokai. The owner is extremely helpful and available for questions leading up and during our trip. Very grateful for this place to stay at the eldorado!

The unit was as advertised, it is not very updated and was a tiny bit old (as my kid said, looks like Nana's place) but you can see that from the pictures. Well stocked kitchen in terms of plates/cups/pans/bowls etc. Great view from the lanai. Property is fantastic, you can walk to Whalers Village and Black Rock. The layout was fantastic, enjoyed the extra bathroom. Only note is that all the chairs/chaise lounge inside and out were very uncomfortable, made it difficult to stay on the lanai too long.

We had a great stay at the El Dorado during spring break. The condo was clean and you can't beat the location. Condo was a bit dated but I believe that is reflected in the price. Everything was in working order, beds super comfortable, and kitchen had everything we needed. The beach is a five or so minute walk and you can easily walk over to Whaler's Village as well. The views off the lanai were spectacular and we watched the sunset every night. We would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed at many properties at the El Dorado and love this facility. It's close to the beach with access to an awesome cabana, three pools, and Whaler's village. This was our first time staying in this unit and we were very happy. It provided enough room and space for our family of four and was well stocked with any kitchen supplies we needed. The beds were comfortable and we had ample pillows to go around. Anka was also extremely responsive with any questions we had before and during the trip. She truly went the extra mile to ensure we had a great experience. We will stay here again!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The view from the room was beautiful and the unit was located close to the parking garage, main pool and BBQ area. The setup of our unit was great. We liked having the entryway and then a door to the bedroom area and another door to the living area. We appreciated the option of getting a shuttle to and from the beach; this was convenient since we have 3 young children. The kitchen had all the pans, cooking utensils and appliances we needed. The first night, after we turned on the air, water started leaking from a ceiling in a closet. I called the owner who answered right away and instructed me to call the front desk. They sent someone over to take a look and came back in the morning and fixed whatever the issue was. We had no problems after that. We did use the pullout bed from the couch for our two youngest kids. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find any extra bedding. We covered the mattress with one blanket that we did find and they used their own blanket to cover up with. The cleaning under furniture and couch cushions definitely does not get done on a regular basis. However, this was the same problem in the two units my sisters and their family rented as well. There were also little ant type bugs all over in the kitchen and bathrooms. They really didn’t bother us; I think this is probably typical of the area and climate. These little bugs were also in my sisters’ units too. We loved sitting on the lanai in the mornings with our coffee! There were plenty of options for the kids as far as TV and streaming networks. While the beds looked to be on the older side, the sheets and blankets were very clean. Having our own washer and dryer was handy and we used them several times. We were required to take out our own trash, but it was easy to do because they have rubbish containers on each level and a recycling container on the second level of the parking garage. The pool areas were clean and appeared to be well maintained. We grilled several nights and never had any issues either. Our family was sad when we had to pack up as this quickly became our home away from home. We would definitely stay here again!

Hotel itself was in a great location! Our condo was the perfect size, it was nice having two bathrooms for our family so no one had to wait around. Kitchen is well stocked if you needed to cook something up.
Condo could use some updating but overall a perfect place for families. If we ever go back to Maui, would stay here again!

We had the amazing opportunity to stay at this wonderful condo! The location was perfect and the condo was HUGE! More than enough space for my two young boys and husband. There were beach/pool items to use (which we also donated to) so other families can take advantage of and not have to travel with. We will be back!

Our group consisted of three “mature” women friends. We found this condo to be perfect! Two of us stayed in the big bedroom that had two queen beds and a shared bathroom/dressing room. The third one of our group took the sofa bed in the living room and had her own bathroom. There were plenty of doors to separate the spaces for privacy and to allow us access to the lanai without disturbing anyone. There is an abundance of storage (closets, dressers, cabinets) for everyone’s items. The washer and dryer were a wonderful plus that allowed us to bring fewer clothes. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, bowls, spices, and cleaning products. We loved the “homey” feel with a comfy sofa, throw pillows, books, games, and music choices. Parking was super close and so was the pool and hot tub! Anka was excellent at answering our questions very quickly, politely, and thoroughly. All in all, it was a very comfortable stay and we hope to be able to do it again in the future!

This property was absolutely perfect! We were a group of engineers that needed a vacation, and this was the perfect place to be based out of and rest our heads between hiking, beach days, surfing, scuba diving, learning how to hula, snorkeling, and even playing shuffle board on the pool deck. The check in process was quick and efficient, and the kitchen was great for making (much more cost effective ;)) meals! And the lanai was an ideal oasis with a spectacular view! We couldn't have asked for a better location, view, or setup!! Thank you thank you!!

The property was spectacular. The gym at the complex was fantastic. The proximity to the beach and Whalers Village was great. The views from the condo were gorgeous. We had a fantastic time at this condo... it was clean, with a lovely view of the palm trees and ocean from the lanai. When I emailed the property manager that I saw a few ants in the kitchen, someone was AT MY DOOR in 10 minutes to solve the problem!
There is a wonderful cabana at the beach with towels and chairs to borrow, showers, and even a fridge to bring lunch or drinks down to the beach. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend.

This was our first time in Hawaii. I am so happy to have found this condo. My husband and I stayed with our 2 young adult children. We gave them the bedroom, which has 2 queen beds and a private bathroom, and we took the pull out sofa. I know pull out sofa? But it actually was pretty comfortable. We also had a bathroom to ourselves. We slept 4 days on the pull out and then moved to the bedroom when they went home. The beds were very comfortable as well. The kitchen is fully stocked. Making meals was very easy. There were two beach chairs we were able to use and did every day. Having laundry inside the condo was amazing. Although doing laundry on vacation is no fun, we always had clean towels and we came home with all clean laundry!! A huge plus in my book. The swimming pool is right around the corner and we used it every night. Lots of people using the bbq area. The sunset from the balcony is amazing and the walk to the beach is easy and short. Black Rock Beach is also a very short walk as well as Wheelers Village. There is also a shopping center with coffee, pizza, chinese food and a convenience store right up the street. The grocery store is minutes away (by car). I would love to come back and stay in this condo!!! A few side notes: Book your excursions before you go on your trip if you can. Luau's booked out through September. Everything was booked and restaurants were very hard to get in to, 1.75hr+ wait times. Otherwise, LOVE this island and the condo! We will be back!! Thank you for sharing the wonderful accomodations!!

This property is in a good location on the Beach Walk. Anka has been responsive in taking care of a few things that needed attention. Only issue that brings the rating down is that updating of the unit is needed, especially the carpeting.

We loved staying at this condo in Maui for 9 days. We have been to Maui several times before but wanted to try a new location. This was by far the most spacious place we've ever stayed there. The Kaanapali area is our favorite location because there are so much to do there whether or not you have a car. We love to walk and like that we have a nice pathway either north or south - plus there is a free shuttle bus that circulates around the Kaanapali resorts in case you get tired. We didn't get the toiletries that others have described but we did have a few condiments, lots of towels and a boogie board. There was dish and laundry soap and we appreciated having a clothes washer and dryer in the unit. Even though it is about 1/3 of a mile to the beach we enjoyed the walk along the golf course. We especially like the beach cabana and all the amenities it offered. I love to swim and the beach gave me the chance to do that. I really liked having my own bathroom and dressing area and I'm sure my husband appreciated having his own also.

1st time using VRBO and could not have imagined anything better. It was awesome. The condo is great and the 2nd bathroom is a "bonus". Anka called us while we were in Maui to check in to make sure everything was OK. I wasn't sure how to say "Perfect" in Hawaiian. Great condo, the facility is great, so close to everything, no need for a car really. VERY fortunate to get a late check out which helped us immensely as planes to Vancouver don't leave till 10 pm. We WILL be returning. Hula Grill, Dukes, Castaway are few of our eating places we liked, Thanks again Anka/Susan,

We stayed at this condo for 10 days in April. It was way beyond our expectations. The location is spectacular, the staff incredible and the condo itself, immaculate and well maintained. The thought that went into preparing it for guests was unbelieveable; a tonne of towels, laundry soap, dish soap, spices, extra sunscreen, shampoo even. We didn't have to purchase many of the things we have had when using VRBO in the past. Anka was incredible to deal with, even calling to ensure we were having a great stay. You can spend your days at the quiet beach, taking advantage of the services offered at the cabana and then it is a short walk to Whalers Village for a great dinner. Beach toys are even provided! Anka, we can't thank you enough for the use of the condo, it was a fabulous vacation and you will be surely hearing from us again, hopefully sooner than later.

We have just returned from an excellent vacation on Maui. We have rented this condo for ten years and it feels like our home away from home. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the modern conveniences that we need. The beds are very comfortable, and having two bathrooms is very handy for families. The lanai is spacious and comfortable for family barbeques and gatherings. Anka and Susan have always been reliable to deal with. Our emails are answered promptly which we appreciate. This condo is very close to the beach cabana and ocean. We also enjoyed walking out to the great restaurants and entertainment which were just minutes away.

I arrived on Maui the day before Hurricane Iselle struck in Aug 2014. Needless to say, it was a hectic first day! My 16 yr old daughter and I managed to purchase all that we needed despite the urgency on the Island. Anka was in constant communication with us and her direction and support were tremendous, regardless of the hour of the day.
Fortunately, it was a near miss, just nasty wind without even a power outage. The condo is in a great location, it was about 200 to 300 meters to the beach cabana. The condo itself was neat, well maintained and had all the amenities of home. The beach is immaculate with frequent turtle "swim pasts", a great place for a 16 yr old. Having her own bathroom didn't hurt either!
I consider myself very well travelled, and the overall experience from booking it right through until checkout was second to none.

Our family had a lovely stay at the Maui Eldorado. The condo had everything we needed and Anka was able to assist with the hire of additional baby gear. Great location for a family holiday. Beach cabana great for families with excellent shade and facilities.
Location is good with short walk to Whalers Village and also to the beach. We would return if back in Maui.

Our family of four (including two kids under seven) had a great time here. The double lanai with its beautiful views was perfect for meals, lounging, or for the kids to play on during our "down time" from excursions. The condo itself is spacious, and the layout works well for a family. Having two bathrooms was great! The temperature was always comfortable inside the suite.
The beach cabana was such a convenient place to hang out, put our beach lunch in the fridge or get out of the rain in a hurry. Getting there was a stroll through the golf course or as the kids especially loved to do, take the free golf cart shuttle from the lobby. We spent hours too in the swimming pools, so close and so warm.
The location worked well for sightseeing (by car) and we were also able to do a few excursions on foot, like trips to nearby Whaler's Village. It's also a 2 minute walk to a small grocery store and a couple take-out places which really helped us out on our late-evening arrival.
Anka was very warm and nice to deal with and also professional and efficient. We can't wait to return.

My husband and I stayed here for our Honeymoon in 2012. We were treated with a wonderful basket of goodies and champagne when we arrived. We arrived late at night and were so grateful for the basket of food and beverages! The condo is beautiful, well decorated and so quiet and peaceful. The beach is a very short walk from the condo! There is a private cabana for ElDorado guests. The cabana has a full kitchen and ice machine. The hotel market can also bring food and drinks right to you at the cabana. The service of the staff are so friendly! Anka is such a pleasure to deal with! She really made sure that we had the best Honeymoon!

My friend and I spent twelve glorious days at L-203, which provided all the amenities of a higher-priced hotel, but had the appeal of one's own condo with fully-equipped kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and it was an added convenience that each of us could enjoy our own bathroom, which made it faster to get ready in the morning. The entertainment center, which included a stereo with iPod attachment, TV and DVD player, was well-stocked with an eclectic assortment of popular books as well as DVD movies for our viewing pleasure. We enjoyed the Wi-Fi connection, always appreciated in order to stay in touch with those at home. The lanai boasted an electric BBQ and attractive teak furniture and was a great place to enjoy breakfast with a view. Whaler's Village was a short 10 minute walk from here as was the beach, including Black Rock, a popular snorkeling locale. Having air conditioning was a big plus as well.
Every night we were treated to a different exquisite sunset.
Anka and Susan were extremely informative and helpful in answering any questions and in staying in touch prior to our arrival. I would highly recommend this property to those visiting the Kaanapali area who desire a clean, attractive and very comfortable place to stay. We'll be back!

This is the place!!! We could not have asked for a better place to stay. We have a family of 5 and this condo fit us perfectly. Two bathrooms was a must. Beautiful accommodations!! The views from the lanai are amazing! The pictures of sunsets from the lanai are awesome. Everything you need is right here. This is our favorite place to stay in Maui. Kaanapali beach is perfect. It's never crowed and black rock never fails with the turtles. We also saw an octopus, stingray, tons of fish (including the Hawaiian state fish) and an eel. We absolutely love working with Anka!!!! She helped make this the best vacation we've ever had. So grateful to her. I really hate to leave this review because it means more people will want to stay here and that makes it harder for us to stay here again (which we are planning on). Seriously I love this place. I didn't want to leave. This is the place. :)

I heard about this great place to stay on Maui from a friend and was fortunate to book a week there in early June. My husband, son (on summer break from college) and I wanted to have a relaxing vacation walking distance from a good snorkeling beach. It was better than we could have imagined! We had a lovely view of the ocean from the balcony and loved the gentle water of beach a few minutes stroll away with the convenience of the cabana. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds comfortable and I would definitely recommend this property to relatives and friends. Next time we want to stay for 10 days!

My family and I vacationed here in July and the condo could not have met our needs any better. Honestly, the condo itself is even better than the pictures and the main pool area is HUGE - plenty of lounge chairs and fairly new barbeque grills. Everything was very clean and well-maintained including the commons area of the Maui El Dorado. We enjoyed passing all the beautiful plants (including birds of paradise, plumeria & banana trees to name a few) just walking to the pool or the beach. The condo is very convenient to Whaler's Village where we ate at Nikki's Place a few times - the food is awesome! Snorkeling at Honolua Bay (a few miles north of Ka'anapali) was a highlight of our stay too - plenty of beautiful fish and coral. We are definitely staying here the next time we travel to Maui.

My wife and I stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed L-203 immensely. Our late check-in and late check-out were accommodated graciously. The condo was clean, perfectly equipped and well-located. We felt absolutely "at home" here and we have every intention of returning. We cannot imagine a better Maui experience.
