This was a perfect home base for our family trip to Maui. Close to shops and food trucks, a beautiful ocean view. Super responsive communication. Beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, and even a soft-sided cooler were provided. Will definitely stay again next time we are in Maui!

Great choice for six of us to enjoy our Maui vacation. We had a nice view of the ocean and watched the whales from our balcony (w/binoculars). We loved that the beach wasn't very crowded and enjoyed relaxing at the pools. The rooms were clean and well supplied. We were very pleased with Maui Westside Properties. When we had any questions or issues, they were easy to get ahold of and always made sure things were taken care of ASAP. I would highly recommend staying here and hope we can make another trip in the future!

We stayed in the Honua Kai resort the first week in October. We were stunned at the beauty of the resort and pools. Also, the resort is on a beautiful white sand beach. The room was furniture nicely. Kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable and very clean! And the location in Lahaina cannot be beat. We were close to everything! We have already recommended Honau Kai to our friends for their trip!

The location of the property was great; you could see the ocean and the hills. It was on the quieter side of the building which we liked. The condo was spacious for our family of 4, it was clean and they were able to place 2 twin beds in the guest room. We loved it. And highly recommend it! The beach was fantastic. Sandy and long with snorkeling 15 yards from shore. A few rocks to watch out for in the water. Pools are a lot of fun. The condo itself is perfect with lots of amenities and ocean plus Mountain View’s.

Condo was beautiful as advertised. Interior was beautiful, kitchen well equipped and beach chairs, cooler, umbrellas in great condition. Unit situated on the south side of building so large patio had afternoon shade, great for an after beach cocktail. Great view of both ocean and mountains. Only complaint was due to continued island restrictions due to COVID. Complex appeared full, but appears that some pool lounge chairs had been removed so getting a spot was competitive. Also plan on making dinner reservations at least 30 days in advance.

Walking in was almost breathtaking! The sliding doors to the balcony/patio open fully and was so nice to relax and see the ocean view! The property was fully stocked even 4 beach chairs and coolers to take to the beach and spend the afternoon. The bathrooms are huge and the beds super comfy. Kitchen has everything you need and having a washer and dryer was a plus. It was peaceful and relaxing when we hung out in the room ( condo a better word) the resort was prime location with Dukes restaurant on the property and really great food truck in walking distance. Communication with property managers Chris & Ichelle was perfect. We will be back!!

This is our second time staying at Honua Kai and we love it! The great thing about 612 is that it included some beach supplies! There were chairs, boogie boards, a baby float and sand toys if needed! Although listed, there aren’t beach towels, but we just used pool towels and that was fine! The view from the patio is perfect with the mountains and the beach, we can’t wait to come back!

Condo 612 is a beautiful and clean place, with wonderful views from the spacious patio. Look to the left and you see the beautiful west Maui mountain. Look to the right and you see the warm Pacific. Bedrooms are large and comfy with a television , and the 2 bathrooms are very clean and also spacious. This is perfect t place to stay for family of 3, 4 or even more.

This is a must stay place! The Honua Kai property is gorgeous and has everything on property you could need or want. Even better the pools and hot tubs are open! It was so nice to travel during Covid. So relaxing. The condo was clean, beds were comfy and the view was great! Also, the included cooler, beach chairs and boogie boards were a huge bonus! The view is way better than any picture can show. Everything in the room was in great condition. Only reason that it is not a 5 star review was due to not having access to the Honua Kai lounge/hospitality room to shower before our late evening flight. We were told by the front desk that because we didn't book directly with them, that we couldn't use their lounge facility. Since this policy is not referenced anywhere in the description of the room, it was an unwelcome surprise to us. The Maui Westside team was fantastic during all interactions with them. Quick response times. No complaints there.

Third time staying in this unit, great spot and we do really prefer to be on this side of the Honua Kai building facing out. We find since it’s on the outside you have a bit more privacy from the fishbowl feel the interior rooms have. Only thing we would add are some area rugs to the family room and bedrooms. The new tile is nice looking but cold and hard and furniture slips around on it. Looking forward to returning in April for another stay here!

Views were great, we saw lots of whale activity during our stay. This condo is very spacious and clean, has all we need. I brought my 20months old baby, the management waived his head count out of max capacity, thank you for that! This is ocean view condo but it is side way of ocean view balcony, not a directly in front of ocean but it still gives you enough ocean view that we still watched the whales every mornings from the balcony. During stay, my family has used washer and dryer pretty much everyday because there is no cleaning and exchanging clean towels so we have to do laundry which was totally ok for us. But hot water run out(?) on 3rd day of our stay, the management sent a person to fix right away. My baby did not play in the pool much but definitely come back to use the kids friendly pool. The beach in front of Honua Kai resort has very very shorty send beach, not safe for kids. You have to walked to the beach near to Westin resort which is right next from Honua Kai, only 5 minuets.

Unit had a great location within the condo complex. It had an ocean view from the lanai and it was on the quieter, non-pool side, which is also a plus. The unit has 2 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms plus a full kitchen. The condo complex as a whole is great for families. It has 2 beautiful pools and plenty of chairs. The on premise grills are a pleasure to use and save a lot of money. There is an excellent local market, Times, less than one-half mile from the condo complex. The only minor quibbles with this unit is that the water heater is a bit slow to recover if several people take showers one after the other. Also the kitchen utensils, although adequate, could be expanded and upgraded. We shop at the local markets for food and do cooking in the unit so most people would be satisfied with the kitchen equipment provided.
