Having stayed at this property three times previously, I can say this property is on par with others we have stayed in. It’s an older building (like many properties on Maui), but in generally good condition. The views are amazing; the location convenient. As others have stated, the carpet is perhaps an odd choice in a sandy environment. The bed is firm, but we both slept well & I have a bad back. We would happily stay here again if we return to Maui.

Amazing view. If you can’t see a whale jumping or spraying within 10 seconds you’re probably not looking. Loved the location. Right next to duke’s and the boardwalk along the properties of north kannapali beach.

Views were amazing. A little hot water issue the first night but was promptly fixed. Furniture is a little dated and bed not so comfy, maybe add a memory foam pad? but the views! Location was great and condo was well equipped with beach stuff and a cooler which was wonderful.

This condo unit was fabulous
The 11th floor was seriously the best view ever. We would definitely stay here again. The pool / spa were so clean.
Overall the condo was good. The lanai was definitely the best feature. Above and beyond views. Saw tons of whales (April 12-19) seals turtles and amazing amazing snorkeling (our first experience) right down the beach within walking distance. Saw sooo many beautiful fish while snorkeling.
Loved the privacy of the two buildings. Unit was completely quiet all the time. No nosier neighbors at all. Very peaceful. We loved the beach in front of Mahana because it was basically just to sit on with no people doing any water activities due to the rocks /reef but it was just perfect for our taste due to the inactivity of people on the beach. If you want that then just walk slightly either way and you have the best of both worlds.
Well done !! .
We will definitely come back to this place.

Manaha Resort is a great location on Maui. Perfect for whole watching, water recreation, relaxing, and dining out. A shopping center is located within walking (across the main street). We love this place!

On check-in, staff was extremely rude. Upon going into the unit, the shag rugs were something from the 1970’s, there was an old printer in the corner, extra bed linens thrown into the bedroom closet and the unit needed new furnishings. However, the worst was yet to come. First off, the beach in front of the hotel is non-swimmable because of large underwater rocks. After finding a section of beach in front of another condo complex, we came back to the unit to take showers and were surprised to discover that there was no water to take showers. According to the property management company, the water company turned the water off due to water shortages. However, we checked with other area hotels and were told they had water. The water returned for a couple of hours each day but the water pressure in the shower was NON-EXISTENT. We complained to the management company but they didn’t care, even though someone texted and said we would get a partial refund since we had no water. The facilities are very dated...pool, inside lobby, etc. There is loud construction going on at the property from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm with construction materials stacked everywhere. The best part of the unit is the view from the balcony. The turtles swimming in the water and the sunsets were the only plus for this dump that is very cluttered. Don’t waste your time unless you want to take a bath in the ocean.

We checked this place out since our go to condo was not available and I’m glad it wasn’t. This unit is perfect for the ones who really want to have a relaxing time. The view is amazing, the crashing waves sounds helped us sleep so well. Check in process was easy, a little bit of confusion but easily ironed out. Location is close enough but far enough from the busy hustle and bustle. This will be our go to condo now.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this attractive and well equipped condo. It has a nice sized balcony with a beautiful view of the ocean and both a table and a lounge chair. We appreciated having sand chairs and other water gear available. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we could need. We found the condo to be very quiet. Access from the parking lot to the condo was very convenient.

We had a wonderful time in Hawaii. This home is well equipped and has great views. Being right on the ocean was important to me and it didn’t disappoint. We were able to listen to the ocean waves and gaze out at the beautiful water. The condo has beach chairs which was a nice surprise as we were going to rent some. The only thing I didn’t like was all the mirrors everywhere, but I think that’s from the era in which it was built.

Mostly Sunny - The location was great for us and the view from the patio was the highlight. We appreciated the ease of check-in as our flight got in late after a 4hr delay in San Jose. A few clouds - Upon arrival we stopped at the nearby grocery and bought coffee, creamer, bread & butter and a number of other 'keep cold' groceries. However, to our surprise the refrigerator wouldn't stay cool. Our food spoiled and despite 2 calls (one which was answered possibly by a teenager; one no answer) and and email to report the issue... we got no replies and no resolution. Thus one of the main advantages of the VRBO (a working kitchen) was rendered basically useless.

From the moment we entered suite 1104 we were teleported to a tranquil paradise! The property was accommodating to just about every conceivable need or necessity( including batteries for the remote). The view just seduces and sedates you into this euphoric states that with the music playing from the bose radio gives you a natural high. To be honest there really are no words to fully describe the wonderful ambiance that this property provides. The sound insulation from the outside was superb. You could not even hear the foot traffic from the hallway outside the door or the sound from the adjacent units. The air conditioning was excellent also, allowing us to set the temperature to the perfect level for our comfort! It is rare that you find anything these days that exceeds your expectations. However this property did for us. We saw whales jumping out of the ocean, turtles swimming along the shore and monarch butterflies frolicking around the patio. Overall it was an excellent experience!!!

Whale season was spectacular to view from the lanai throughout the day. Stunning ocean perspective and beautiful view. The condo was well maintained but not flawless. Mirrored walls made it feel larger, while the amount of furniture made it feel more crowded. Appliances worked, but the refrigerator interior froze up repeatedly. Overall, the view overcame any objections.

First of all, can not overstate how amazing the view is. Sitting on the lanai all you see is water. The previous reviewer who said it was like being on a cruise ship was right. Enjoyed some great sunsets from the lanai.
Everything was great. Nice kitchen had every pan/pot/utensil you need. A/C was fantastic too. And parking was easy too. Grocery store right across the street behind the property.
There is no restaurant/bar on this property which quite frankly we ended up thinking was a positive. Was nice and quiet. And if we wanted that scene, Duke's was right next door through a security gate - a 2 minute walk away to a Mai Tai.

I'm an interior designer and used to staying at 5 star resorts. I was impressed and not disappointed with the unit we stayed in. Our unit had high end finishes, appliances, furniture and all the comforts of home. Big walk in shower, washer/dryer and even a telescope and binoculars to use.
The kitchen is more than adequately equipped with granite, sub zero fridge and more. We had everything we needed. Beach gear from snorkels, chairs, umbrella, ice chest were available for our use. The view is absolutely amazing and visible from every point. We kept the door open and could hear the waves crashing all night. Nicely located, but private feeling as well. The beach in front is mostly coral and great for snorkeling, but have to be careful to find a good entering spot. Nice beach for walking with other resorts along the way. The property managers were friendly and helpful and felt like they really wanted us to have a great experience. No buyers remorse here!

We love staying in the Mahana and this beautiful 1 bedroom condo was another example of why. All of the units have a glorious view from the ocean facing lanai. This condo has plenty of everything. Comfy bed, lots of dresser space. Beautiful sofa to relax and watch their entertainment center, with Netflix and amazon, etc. already available on the TV. Kitchen had all of the amenities needed. Plenty of towels, etc.
The Mahana is a wonderful place, with lovely lawn chairs on the ocean, swimming pool and hot tub. We recommend both the Mahana and would certainly recommend #1104 to all of our friends.

My BF and I stayed for a week in this beautiful Condo at the Mahana. The views are second to none. You honestly feel like you are on a ship, that's how close to the water you are. This condo is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need, including a Keurig for easy coffee!! The location is perfect, right where you want to be. Close to everything, but still quiet. I hope to return someday, and would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a little time in paradise.
