Great Location. Can walk to many restaurants. Not nearly the traffic is when I drove past Lahaina and Kiianapale (sp?). We did not have a bad meal in Kihei and we ate at many restaurants.
There is a road outside, but it didn't bother me.
Beach out front and pickleball courts.
Would stay here again.

We recently stayed for a family vacation and not only was the property beautiful, but Yolanda was wonderful. Easy to work with especially since we needed early check in and late check out. Use of the van was awesome and the home was perfect. Will definitely be back again.

Our extended family (grandparents plus two families w/children) enjoyed everything that Yolanda’s property had to offer, especially how well equipped the rental was: everything you would need for the beach and pool, car, kitchen, etc. The proximity to the beach and location in Kihei, as well as the whole island was fantastic!

The outdoor space was not very useable as the A/C unit blew hot air and the furniture was awkwardly arranged.
The sleeping areas were great but the bathrooms needed some cleaning. Once we arrived we were met with many rules and restrictions that were fine, but the amount of times they were repeated made it off putting and less relaxing.
I recommend if you’re looking for a place to stay just for sleeping but not necessarily for enjoyment of the location or ‘resort’ amenities.

Good place, a bit dated but very well-equipped including beach equipment and kitchen. Host was prompt to respond to issues that arose. Might consider whether a diverter would work for the deck A/C hot air exhaust. Included van was very handy for our group.

We had a lovely vacation in Maui thanks to the hospitality of Yolanda and Leo. We were 4 adults and 3 teens staying for 1 week. The use of the minivan was a spectacular bonus. The teens loved the upstairs bedroom and the two couples slept in two main floor bedrooms.
The kitchen was clean and well equipped, but the knives could stand to be sharpened. We had a small issue with a clog in the upstairs tub but Leo fixed it the next day.
The pool area and access to the beach cannot be beat! The only negative thing I can say about the place is we could hear the traffic from the road. This was not a huge issue for us because we didn't lounge in the unit, we spent our time at the pool, beach, or exploring Maui. At night I slept with earplugs.

We celebrated our 50th anniversary with family of 8, and had plenty of room. The little ones loved the upstairs beds! The grounds are lovely. The only drawback is the proximity to the main road just outside the condo. It is very loud. If you are a light sleeper, a white noise machine might help. The unit is well equipped with all the necessary beach equipment you might need. Yolanda was very attentive to our needs, and took care of the few issues we had. The car was older, but came in handy for our jaunts around town.

Yolanda'd and Leo's property is a dream destination for any large group looking to stay in Kihei. The condo is close to many shops and restaurants and right on the beach. The amenities like the pool and hot tub are fabulous as well. I also cannot express enough gratitude to the hosts for their attentiveness during my stay. Throughout a minor maintenance issue, they were always in contact, even when not on island. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Did not realize we were on third floor and no elevator. Was that listed in the VRBO listing. Was difficult for me to go up and down stairs. The oven did not work very well. Not sure if it was because of the foil on the shelves. Was afraid to drive truck to Hana, so rented cars. The place was beautiful and in a great location. Loved the patio.

We had two couples and 3 kids ages 11-13 staying in the condo and there was plenty of room for everyone. We had a couple of issues with accessing the unit, but the property manager was very responsive and helpful. The vehicle is older as it states in the listing. We did have service lights come on and it had one headlight out, but it was reliable enough for all of us to get around town in one vehicle. We never had any issues with it other than figuring out how to finesse the key to get it to start the first time. It does only seat 7, not eight as indicated in the listing. But, that's all we needed, so it was fine for us. The unit is about a 5 min walk to the beach (if you walk really slow!) and the beach is a bit rocky, but beautiful views, low waves, and not crowded at all. There were several paddleboarders out on the water. The unit is next to the road which can be loud during the day, but traffic dies down at night and it's not loud at all. The pool is well kept and lots of BBQs to use.

We had 6 adults and 2 teens in the group. There was plenty of room, beds and bathrooms for everyone. My husband and I arrived a day before everyone else. We arrived late at night and the AC was not working
We turned on the ceiling fans and opened the sliding doors to the balcony and the condo was cool enough. Yolanda and Lisa were very responsive the next day getting us extra fans until the AC tech arrived to fix the AC. He had it fixed in under an hour. We were gone during the day, at the beach, shopping and picking people up from the airport so AC would have been turned off anyway. There was a welcome fruit basket, Maui coffee, and juice in the fridge when we arrived. The condo was clean and easy to keep clean. The beds were really comfortable and the grandkids LOVED the stacking bunk bed set up. It was like having their own room. They could keep the light over their bed on without bothering the people above or below. There was plenty of room to play card and board games in the common room. There were goggles, beach chairs/umbrella, swim shoes, beach towels, boogie boards and noodles provided for our use. The pool and hot tub were great. There were always people there, but it was never crowded and we always had lounge chairs available. We would stay here again if we went back to that area.

Exactly as expected. Accommodate up to 9 in the 3 rooms. The double bed in the living room is available for more space. The balcony is very nice and the outdoor commune space with pool, tables, outdoor kitchen and barbecue are very well maintained and useful. The owner is very responsive to any question or small problem.
The car is not a recent model but it was very useful with plenty of space for the beach gear.

The property was beautiful and perfectly located. We were traveling with our blended family with five young adults and the sleeping arrangements were ideal. The amenities were top notch and the significant amount of recreational equipment (snorkel, pickle ball, boogie boards) made for an awesome time. Having the car that could accommodate seven of us was a tremendous benefit. Yolanda was amazing and so very attentive to our needs and questions. Our entire party of seven can’t wait to return! We loved the clean and well appointed kitchen and balcony/lanai. The condo was comfortable for our group of 8. The complex was well kept, and the pool area with bbqs was the perfect place to end each day.

The condo was not as described. First and foremost the kitchen has termites. All of us had noticed what we thought was sand on the floor since the day we arrived. We swept it up every day thinking someone had tracked it in. We realized on the 4th day it was actually fecal droppings from termites, we found the termites when we swept it that morning. We notified Yolanda the same day, and she wanted to come to take a look. She was very defensive about the situation, offered no solution or apology. She claimed they will be addressing this issue for the next guest but that their hands were tied by what the building does. We confirmed with the building manager that the last time they sprayed for termites was 6 years ago. Had we known there was a termite infestation we would have booked elsewhere.
The second concern is the car. The vehicle is questionable, several lights are on (airbag check, oil change, tire pressure light) the brakes are terrible, and starts on the second attempt. If you want a vehicle to drive around the island and go further than half a mile, this is NOT the vehicle for you! If you want to just drive to the store and back, it will work okay as long as you are comfortable with the above concerns.

The location was perfect, a small beach to visit, amazing view from the lanai, and plenty of space for our family of 9. I especially loved the upstairs bedroom with the tiered beds. The kids loved having their own space and bathroom. The owners were prompt with concerns and there were a lot of beach accessories available to borrow. Couldn’t have asked for a better place. The grounds were beautiful, the pool was big enough for everyone and so was the hot tub. Definitely somewhere I would revisit in my future travels. Thank you Yolanda and Leo!

The property location was conveniently located on S. Kihei Road. Local eateries were plentiful, the property was beautifully landscaped, the pool immaculate, and the Pacific joyous. We saw sea turtles and enjoyed jumping in the waves. The only drawback was the vehicle that was provided. It had no power steering which for a full-sized SUV was problematic. We were forced to rent a van for our transportation around the island. We will definitely stay at this property again sans the vehicle.

We really enjoyed the condo location and the furnishings. Having coffee on the patio every morning, swimming in the pool, the beach access and being close enough to town to buy groceries or eat out was great.
Having the number of beds and bathrooms was a win, win for our family of 6 (which included 4 adults and 2 teenagers). The kids enjoyed the loft!!!
The kitchen was a bit small for 6 people to turn around in, but it worked with only one or two of us doing the cooking.
The hosts and the local resort people were great to work with.
All around I would definitely recommend this condo for someone coming to Maui! Hope to come back some day! :)

Condo location is great, central location for accessing all excursions and local beaches. Grocery, shopping, and dining options all within 1 mile on unit. Having an extra auto was a huge bonus for larger groups. Luana Kai is a well maintained resort with nice amenities. Would love to come back.

Everything was as advertised. Use of vehicle was very helpful and was perfect for our large group. We used it primarily for the south and west portions of the island. Would not recommend for the Road to Hana. We rented Jeeps at the local Avis for that trip. We did not drive up Haleakala, but I wouldn't have driven it there either. The location of the property is perfect for access to restaurants and shopping, which are in walking distance as well. The overall property is nice with a pool and grills. Everything was well maintained. Access to the adjacent park and beach were great and we enjoyed tennis everyday. The property was provided with beach chairs and water/sports equipment which was awesome. We had a great trip! We also recommend the Luau at Te Au Moana in Wailea and the snorkel charter to Molokini through Redline Rafting which is accessed from the Kihei Boat Ramp!

This property is well maintained with top-of-the-line appliances. The view from the lanai and the ample seating provided beauty as we dined together and enjoyed sunset. We had ten adults in the unit, and it was often a tight fit, especially before school in the mornings and during dinner time. The kitchen was nice but small for more than two adults. The AC worked well and kept us cool- added fans were needed in the very top loft. Ample beach equipment- snorkel gear, beach chairs, cooler, beach towels, floaties, etc. were a huge bonus! The street traffic is loud and can always be heard in the main floor bedrooms and bathrooms. Having three full bathrooms was appreciated for a group our size. The wind and beaches around Kihei were very different than what I have been accustomed to in Napili-Honokowai in West Maui, but we did find "Big Beach" to be our favorite after school spot- an easy 20 minute drive toward Wailea.

This is a wonderful rental with amazing hosts. Everything you need. A well stocked kitchen, bathroom amenities, beach chairs a huge plus, snorkel equipment, and delicious welcome snacks and wine! The lanai is as pictured, large and comfortable. Another plus is the full kitchen patio area with grills at the resort pool. Not having to rent a car for a family of 6 was great. Drove to Haleakala summit without troubles. Only mild drawback to rental is its close proximity to the busy road. Hear road traffic 24/7 but this would not keep us from renting again.

The condo was comfortable and clean. We had most all of the things that we needed. The property manager left gifts for all of us. The only negative was that the unit is an end unit on a very busy street so the street noise is loud at night. We did adjust to the noise after several nights.

I appreciate you working with us to resolve the vehicle issues, but would like to finalize things. One recommendation I have is to invest in a new vehicle. Yes, I know it's a terrible time to buy a new one though. The one you have is a great size we just weren't able to use it due to the safety issues with the tire. Even driving back and forth from the airport and getting the rental car squared away was very time consuming and thus far costly. In fact, as you know we have paid money out of pocket for vehicle expenses for a rental which we shouldn't have had to do. Your accessibility has been awesome and when we needed you, I'm glad you tried to help out with Six rental. One suggestion is to ask the cleaning ladies to visit the upper level bunk beds.

Good location, central on this side of Maui. Laid-back and quiet; not a "touristy" spot. HUGE bonus to have a car that came with the rental! Property is very comfortable and held 6 adults easily.

This property was one of the few VRBO's that was available that would accommodate 2 families of 4. It is centrally located in Kihei and much of the town is walkable if you don't mind 15 minutes. The unit has been updated and the kitchen is well stocked. The lanai was sizable and was enjoyable although the unit is a bit close to S Kihei road. The condo complex was very well maintained and in good shape.
The host was very responsive and available. The check in/check out instructions were reasonable and easy to follow. The biggest fringe benefit of the rental was the use of the vehicle that accompanies the unit. It is an older Escalade and not in the best of shape, but is of tremendous value over the course of a week. I've not seen a similar property with a vehicle in my search.
The rental is a great value overall. It isn't the 4 seasons, so don't expect that. I would stay at this property again.

This was our first time to Maui and we couldn't have been more happy with the location of this condo. It was not only right on the beach, but very central to all things convenient in Kihei and Wailea, like shopping and restaurants. The pool was great as well with an outdoor kitchen, 5 BBQs so you could cook and eat poolside while enjoying the sunset. The condo itself was very nice and well stocked-essentially everything we needed to cook, wash, live and play was there.
There were only 2 cons we experienced. One was the street noise while trying to sleep. It is an end unit closest to the street and being a light sleeper, the cars were easy to hear as if the windows were open. Otherwise we didn't even notice it while we were up in the living space. The second con was the Escalade. It was such a great addition to the rental and we were so grateful to have it considering the car rental issues going on in Hawaii right now, but the car needs a tuneup. We did share some issues and concerns with Yolanda and she was great about sending someone over to check some things out. That helped but we still had to take steps everyday to make sure the car could get us around safely.
Overall though, our first trip to Maui was a hit and we will definitely be back and would absolutely stay here again!

We stay for a week with our family and friends. We had eight in the party total. The place was well furnished, close to many local restaurants and a short drive to local attractions. The pool and beach were nice caps to each day out and about. The host was very responsive and communication was excellent. A great place to have as home base to create found memories.

We loved staying in this property. It was the perfect size for our family of 6 (4 teenagers and 2 adults). We loved having the beach and pool so close by and the grill area was awesome for nights when we cooked at home. It had all the tools and equipment we could possibly need including beach chairs and towels. The location was perfect for seeing different parts of the island and visiting great restaurants locally. The included vehicle was a lifesaver for our big group! Thank you for a wonderful vacation and a memorable stay our family will never forget!
