This was an ideal place to stay - beautiful condo, with upgraded amenities and decor, comfortable king size bed, good shower. Everything was thoughtfully placed and the best part was the fabulous views of the ocean. The property felt so private and we loved the ability to walk to the nearby amazing beaches as well as The Hotel right next door with their restaurants and gorgeous views. We are already planning for when we can return to this exact site- it was well worth the money and felt like a home away from home. Thanks to the owners for notifying through Vrbo site the key code to get in was different than the one Vrbo posted in communication to us. Would recommend first arriving before it’s dark as there wasn’t much light to see at the entrance. But as soon as we were there it was so worth the trip to be there and then we took a big inhale and exhale to aloha and had a most relaxing vacation. Thank you again!

We had a great time at the condo - the views are amazing. The lanai is very spacious with a table and umbrella for outside dining and two lounge chairs. The primary bedroom is very large as is the bathroom. The second bedroom is also good sized. The kitchen was well equipped for us - we did not cook much. We really liked the wood floors throughout, which made the space much warmer. We were able to drop our bags early, which was helpful as we had a late afternoon permit to hike and did not want to leave bags in the car. We walked to both the Hideway Beach and the beach next to the One Hotel, both are beautiful. The condo has tennis courts, which our adult children used. It's an easy trip to Hanalei for meals and a grocery store is within 10 minutes. We were in Kauai during March madness and appreciated the large TV in the living room to watch the games. The sound of the sea was the only sound we heard at night. A beautiful spot!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay in this beautiful condo. It was exactly as pictured and described and we will miss it when we check out shortly. The location was excellent and we just could not get enough of hearing the waves all night. Excellent cross breezes kept us comfortable. Well-stocked and we utilized the great grocery store right down the road. Plenty of space for our family of four and we got a lot of use out of the spacious lanais and the pool too. We hope to have the opportunity to stay here again in the future. Mahalo!

We didn't have enough days at the property (do you ever though) but enjoyed the space and the view when we could! Always rainbows to see off the lanai and it is in a very peaceful area. We would certainly stay here again if we get to travel back to Kauai! Property manager responded immediately when we had a hangup getting in on arrival which was great!

The location in Princeville is really stunning - private deck with bbq and chairs for sunning (If the sun shines) or for just looking at the surf break and the whales. Love that the pool is at one end of the complex so no noise. Unit is well equipped and we loved the big TV with all possible channels available to watch a show after dinner. We had lots of fun exploring the island of Kauai and playing golf at the Makai course.

This was our first time to Kauai and this unit was beautiful and a quiet area to stay in, it was all that was advertised. The owners were so easy to work with and we would stay here again. There are so many things in the area to do and many beaches in the northern part of the island. We have been to the other Hawaiian Islands before but this is the best one by far.

This property was in a great location and unit was clean and AMAZING!! The two large lanais were the best part. We watched surfers and heard waves all day long. We did not want to come home. We will definitely be coming back to this same place again, sooner than later!

The property is absolutely beautiful. The kitchen is the most well stocked of any ive seen. The bed was very comfortable with a view. It is so spacious you could stay comfortably for a month! Wish i could. The location is minutes from Hanalei Bay which is so very nice. Great food, shave ice, kayaking. From the condo you can walk to excellent snorkeling. We also enjoyed the pool- not much because there was too much to do. And the. Relaxing on the beautiful lanai with sunsets that were inspiring was the end of perfect days. We did travel the entire island but would definitely stay on the North shore again- hopefully in 209.

This 2nd floor condo had amazing views and all the comforts of home. The kitchen was stocked with supplies and they had everything from beach chairs and umbrellas to beach towels. The condo was very comfortable with wonderful ocean breezes and lots of privacy. Would definitely stay here again!

This online description does not do this place justice. It is much better and apart from being in beautiful Kauai, likely the best VRBO property I’ve ever stayed in. From the outstanding communication and service from the property owner to the well stocked unit to the amazing view, we couldn’t have asked for more. The location is convenient to Hideaway beach and other amazing spots along the north shore, Hanalei and the Na Pali coast. We had to evacuate Maui during the fires and the owner was quick and willing to turn over the unit so we could check in same day. I really hope when we return to Kauai this unit will be available.

This is the second time that we stayed in this lovely condo complex, which have truely amazing views. I prefered this apartment to the previous one and found everything in it well maintained and the furniture was good. It is on the second floor, which i liked.

Just as advertised! Beautiful and a great location. The beach next door had new ropes installed. We thought it was the best beach we found and great for snorkeling. Close to shops and restaurants as well.

We had a wonderful visit. Hideaway beach is a steep trail next to the condo complex, the huge outdoor deck with spectacular ocean views, supermarket in Princeville, kileaua lighthouse. It was a relaxing, lovely vacation.

Many attractions in Kauai are in the South though, which require 1 hour or more of driving.

We stayed in this home with beautiful ocean view for 4 weeks in March and loved it! The kitchen is well equipped, including premium waffle maker and blender. With our extended stay , we enjoyed the large screen TV in living room with spectrum cable and a few subscription apps. The lanai included high quality comfortable furniture, new umbrella, full size Weber gas grill and beautiful plants. We especially enjoyed the orchid plant(s) on the master bedroom lanai which was in full bloom our entire stay.
The owner notified us prior to our arrival he had ordered new beach chairs and we were pleasantly surprised to find the box of 4 beach chairs with umbrellas in the unit upon our arrival.
We personally appreciated that the unit had bamboo floors vs carpet. As noted, the unit doesn’t have air conditioning, but the ocean breeze kept the home comfortable, and the bonus was hearing the sound of the surf both day and night. The heated pool was much enjoyed on the days we choose not to go to the beach or sight seeing.
Due to our extended stay, we communicated with Walter (owner) on a few occasions and he responded on a timely manner. We would definitely return to this unit!

The condo has been updated even more beautifully than the pictures show. Sunsets were epic from the lanai. Condo is equipped with everything you’ll need and more. We absolutely loved it.
My only suggestion would be: Get a keypad for entry. Keys are so inconvenient if you have two different people coming & going and only one key. And god forbid you lose the only key 😱

Property location couldn't be better. The unit, however could use some TLC. Bathroom cabinets are old and crumbling at the bottoms as is most baseboard. Not lovely. Flooring has gaps in it and is fading. So the unit worked beautifully for our purpose. It was just in need of an update.

VRBO failed to provide instructions to access property, had to contact owner (should be refunded VRBO fees). Cleaning not completed prior to access hour of 1600. Owner need to hire a good QC person. Top rack of dishwasher broken, fridge veggie container broken, seat cover in dining area torn off, kitchen floor mat torn up, used commode scrubber stored under bathroom sink, lots of mold on patio floors, lounge chairs, and umbrella. Weeds growing in patio cracks and potted shrubs not being cared for. Patio furniture ancient and in need of replacement a long time ago. No cutting boards found in kitchen, knives dull, garlic press did not work so bought one and left it. Bottom of paper towel holder nasty. Some lights out. Mattress in main needs replacing. In one kitchen cabinet a waffle maker sitting on top of boxes of tiles. Maybe a good place for younger folks that tour and beach all day, yet not for those just wanting serious R&R. Pics depicting unit should be updated. Great views though. Got invited to unit next door,NOW THAT WAS REAL CLASS AND WHAT EXPECTED TO FIND!

Pictures do not do the property justice. Enjoyed relaxing on the lanai watching whales and the local surfers, falling asleep and waking to the ocean waves. Cool breezes coming off the ocean kept the condo cool and the fans helped during the heat of the day, although 80 is not really scorching. Most relaxing vacation I've ever had. Short walk/hike to several beaches, but the surf was too high to do much swimming/snorkeling. However, the large waves were mesmerizing and we enjoyed just watching them crash into the shore. Can't wait to come visit again!

My husband and I stayed a week in this lovely condominium. The property we just as advertised - clean, comfortable and convenient to all of the north shore. The check-in information was very detailed and helpful. With the thick walls, we heard no noise from any other units, only the lovely sound of waves from the ocean below with the open screened sliders. You are literally at the end of the road in Princeville with beautiful views of the ocean and occasional passing whales. Princeville appears to be a beautiful, safe community with lots of walkers. We were very happy with our whole experience there.

We’ve stayed in multiple condos on multiple islands in Hawaii, and this is our favorite. Spectacular views, sleeping with the sliders open and the ocean whispering, excellent snorkeling at Hideaways below the condo (weather/surf permitting - we lucked out and had zero rain and quiet 2-4 foot surf our entire 5-day trip, which is somewhat rare for mid-November). Comfortable, quality beds - my wife has a bad back and felt great. Condo is a good size for 4 people and feels even more spacious with the large lanais and open, expansive views. The ocean is ever present when you stay here, and the lush canopy below and views of Na Pali give you a strong sense of place, which happens to be one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world.

Great location. Condo is generally very nice and comfortable. Nitpicking, there were a few minor issues. They ranged from not enough paper product basics for folks staying for over a week (ie TP, etc), trash bags, problem with out of wack fan in a bathroom, Roku TV not receiving some channels, outside hall light not working. Little things that start to add up. Some loving care would easily get things right. Even with those issues, we enjoyed our stay!

You can walk to Hideaway Beach, but it's a tough trip. My husband had no problem, but me and the kids (7 and 9yo) were a bit scared. The pool is very peaceful.
Will definitely try to return to this beautiful condo for future trips!

Our family of four (2 adults, 2 teens) stayed here in March, right as COVID-19 was shutting down everything in the U.S. and the islands. This trip, to this specific location, turned out to be the exact saving grace our family needed when we got home to start our stay-at-home routine.
First is the sensory overload you'll get here - the view is phenomenal, the ocean provides a constant soundtrack, and you get a wonderful combination of the floral scents and the saltwater. Spending 10 minutes sitting on the deck here is transformative. Oh, and the whales were breaching right offshore. WOW!!!
The accommodations are very comfortable. I chose this condo specifically for the view and the two separate beds in the second bedroom. Our kids co-existed just fine, and they had a huge bathroom to share. The kitchen is stocked with everything needed to cook at home, which we did a lot. The master bedroom is an oasis; I loved being able to lie in bed and watch the ocean. One thing I really appreciated was the luxury hotel-quality of all the amenities - super thick and soft towels, very nice bedding, and name brand toiletries that I actually buy at home! It was also a very nice surprise to find all the necessary laundry supplies.
The location of the property in Princeville is also amazing. You have easy walking access to the three beaches nearby. Well, I should say, the walking paths for two beaches are very steep and you need to have a passable level of fitness to use them, but they are very close to the condo. The drive to a big grocery store is only five minutes. We ended up eating in much more since all the restaurants closed due to the pandemic. We also ended up going to Hanalei more than we anticipated. Our kids absolutely loved that beach, and we liked all the nearby shops and little places to eat, especially the food truck area. Beach chair and boogie board rentals there are plentiful and super inexpensive!
What really made this trip extra special for us, was the unexpected extra time we got to spend here. Our original flight home was canceled due to the pandemic - a super stressful situation. The host Walter was MOST GRACIOUS in quickly communicating with us and working out an equitable agreement to extend our stay.
Though all our activities ended up being canceled (luau, ziplining, etc), this will still go down as one of our best vacations ever, due in large part to where we stayed. It really is paradise!

Nice property. Everything was as represented. We found the kitchen items to be of higher quality and better supply than many of the homes we've rented. Only challenge you need to get used to is the lack of air conditioning.
We enjoyed the beach chairs and umbrellas. The sunsets on the balcony were beautiful every evening.

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious and lovely property. With a full ocean view from the lanai, living room, dining room and kitchen, the location is wonderful.
The unit is well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms with extra towels, many small appliances and comfortable bedding.
It is not air conditioned and because there it faces west it gets full afternoon sun which can make the place warm. Full use of fans and shades helps and in the evening the trade winds help cool off the interior. We were there in July, a very humid month. May not be this way in other months.
Close to Hanalei Bay and Princeville conveniences such as Foodland. Easy parking.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay completely. The condo is beautiful, clean and has a gorgeous view of the ocean and Bali Hai. We lounged on the lanai in the morning with coffee and had quiet dinners at sunset. The condo itself offers comforts that a hotel would find hard to compete with. My husband and I love the North Shore and Hanalei (our favorite town on Kauai) is a short 10 minite drive away. There are also hikes minutes away. We didn’t want to leave!
