This was an amazing property that was tastefully furnished and decorated. It was well stocked with all a family would need for a vacation in Maui. Close to the beaches, close to restaurants and stores, large and fun pool area in Condo complex, beautiful landscaping and neighborhood layout. My wife and I were so happy and thankful we stayed here, it made our experience so much better. Add to that the wonderful CB management and support experience/team and as we were driving to the airport after our 7 day stay, my Wife said we were coming back soon - and certainly to the same place. Wonderful place, wonderful location, wonderful renting experience.

This property is absolutely amazing. We have stayed at several condos in Wailea and this was by far our favorite. The view was spectacular, the place has everything you would need to cook and the room sizes were perfect. It’s a little further walk across the street to the beach and you can’t use anything from the Wailea on the beach so we used the pool mostly. The pool was fantastic and we actually preferred it to beach anyways. The gym was also great and had everything we needed. We had the best vacation and were so luckily we found it through VRBO.

This is a great location and is very roomy. It’s very clean and has a great view. Great for friends and family. Everything you need for the beach and is just a .5 walk to the beach. Property host was very nice and attentive. We did have a slight issue with a couple of things. The first night the smoke detector kept beeping.. haha. No problem just removed the battery. Then the bbq wouldn’t stay lit, the dishwasher broke (wouldn’t drain), and one of the stovetops kept going out. This was just a slight annoyance, but overall it was great. The gym is incredible and the pool and spa is really nice too.

We had a group of 6 adults and 2 kids stay at Ho'olei 21-3 last week, and we all absolutely loved it.The condo is even better than the pictures, and there were more amenities there than we even expected! We were happily surprised with the welcome snacks awaiting our arrival - the local treats and coffee were all delicious! We made good use of all the Tommy Bahama beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach toys every day. The beds were comfortable, we had plenty of towels for bath and beach, and we had everything we needed for laundry as well as cooking great meals in the condo. The fridge space was ENORMOUS. Two full refrigerators for all of our food! And the AC worked wonderfully - which was a nice relief after long days on the hot beach.We had coffee and breakfast on the gorgeous lanai every day, and we all loved the pool and hot tubs. The pool area was even better than I had expected - we loved having picnic lunches in the food space, and we even made use of the nice gym while we were there! We also made sure to stop at the ice machines by the pool every morning and night to fill up all our water bottles with the "good ice". We had a wonderful stay.Oh I also wanted to mention how great the communication was from the management company. Immediately after our plane landed, I got a message letting me know the status of the condo. They continued to keep me updated without prompting on whether or not we could check in early. They were up-front about minor issues they found during inspection (none of which were a big deal to us), and they called us immediately when the condo was ready for an early check in! We also got a phone call the following day asking how our first night in the condo went. I felt very taken care of. Would definitely recommend this condo!

This house was perfect for our two families with kiddos. Super close access to the beaches, shops, onsite pool, etc. The house was well stocked with supplies and beach accessories which was a huge help to us. Bonus for our crew was the sweet island cat that came to visit us each day on the patio. She was adorable and the kids loved her. :)

Upon arriving at our villa we were told the air conditioning was not working well. We arrived to a very warm condo. Told the the AC would be replaced after our rental. There was also a large panel on the ceiling kept open which allowed more warm air to enter the villa. This was not an acceptable situation considering the price of the villa rental. Allison went above and beyond her duties to bring 4-5 fans to our villa on a Saturday evening! Which made sleeping bearable. After 3 days the AC was fixed and we had a cool villa. Unfortunately, that added stress and anxiety to a week that was meant for rest and relaxation. The villa was lovely but AC system should have been fixed prior to our arrival or we should have been offered another option before our arrival onto Maui.

The condo is clean and neat. The view from the lanai is wonderful. There were a few things that were a little dissapointing such as the lanai wicker furniture is falling apart, the master bedroom ceiling fan hums and clicks, the lighing in the master bath mirror did not work and the grill smokes like heck. there is no place for the smoke to go the way it is designed.The management company CBIP was very resposive and were excellent. For this kind of money though, you shouldnt have to deal with these things. I would have given 5 stars otherwise. The owner needs to invest a little back into the property.

This is advertised as a luxury property. Hoolei is a lovely property but this unit does not have luxury furnishings. The lanai furniture is completely worn out. The ratan furniture is worn to the frame in places. The unit is very tired and more at a 2 star level than the 5 star advertisement.

This house was truly paradise in Wailea. The house was as advertised…spacious, luxurious, amenity rich and had the most calming view of the ocean. Hard not to spend every waking moment on the upstairs lanai. The house had everything we needed for the beach, the pool, relaxing and cooking a meal. The pool was perfect to take a break from the beach or the daily hustle…the night swimming was great.
Would rent again and highly recommend to a large family or multiple families.

beautiful place - so well furnished with all the functional bits working - and so many extras. Great kitchen - we arrived hungry and found complimentary snacks that really took the edge off. All the linens were top notch - so many nooks and crannies to get away - but plenty of room to gather as well. the pool area was so lovely and sparsely populated. Walked across the street to the beach and the sunset. Eight of us were all comfortable.

We’ve taken our family to Ho’ Olei maybe 7 or 8 times, but I think 21-3 was the best so far. It was clean, well stocked and had a beautiful ocean view. But the main luxury that made this home stand out for us was the pool table. We had so much fun playing, joking and laughing while competing in family tournaments. We ate at some great restaurants, cooked our own wonderful meals, saw some amazing sights and spent a lot of fun times at the pool and beach!We’d also like to thank Jessica at the management company for her attentiveness, concern and responsiveness to any needs or requests we had.Thank you, thank you!

My family had a wonderful stay at the condo. It’s spacious and open with amazing views of the ocean, we enjoyed several sunset dinners on the patio. It was our first time in Maui and we really enjoyed the location. Wailea is a beautiful area and the condo is a short drive (or walk)to the beach (we just parked at the public beach rather than going through the hotel) The snorkeling right off the beach was great in the mornings.. There’s also a nice mall area nearby with nice shops and a grocery store. We also found a number of other good dining options within 5-15 minutes. The on-site pool and gym are very nice, we really enjoyed relaxing in the pool after a day of exploring! We would love to return.

Love Ho’Olei. Have stayed in these condos 8-10 times. Have most always booked through VRBO. Every unit we have ever booked until this one has had use of Grand Wailea facilities- pool, beach, and fitness center.
After booking we started making reservations for dinners appropriately 10 days later, and realized from the concierge that this unit was not connected. Immediately contacted the property manager and explained the screw up, but we were within 60 days and their policy was no refund within 60 days.
Condo has great view, and property manager was courteous and promptly resolved issues in the condo during our stay, but we didn’t have access to GW amenities.
Buyer Beware - read the fine print. No pool, beach or fitness use of facilities. Everything not listed comes with an up charge. No housekeeping unless you pay per day extra. No baby crib unless you pay extra. Also, no safe for guest use.

If you're looking for the perfect getaway in the heart of it all but away from the rat race, this is it. The gorgeous lanai is so inviting with spectacular ocean views(and you can hear the waves at night!). The huge hotels across the street offer plenty of amenities if you want to be in the thick of things but then retreat back to your quiet oasis. The architects have brilliantly laid out each very large unit to offer plenty of privacy. The kitchen is so well appointed and the beds are incredibly comfortable! Just a gorgeous and luxurious space! The pool was amazing as much better than crowded hotel pools! Everything was so clean and groomed. Would definitely return!!

We needed an emergency place to stay after the storm on Dec 6, 2021, destroyed the house we were in Kula. The management company was great to work with to get us in. We have stayed in the complex before on vacation - so we knew what to expect.
Extremely clean and has all the amenities you could want.
For the prices the value was amazing.
Things to consider if you are staying there on vacation - There is a pool table instead of a dining table. This might be fun if you are on vacation - but there is no place to have a family meal, do a puzzle or play a game except on the table outside. Maybe a card table and some chairs would be an amazing addition to the property.
We are tall people - the master bed was very comfortable by low to the ground.
The only other suggestion is to be careful of the kitchen faucet - it is very powerful and will give you a shower if you are not very careful.
For the price we paid - for a three-bedroom, this condo was amazing.

This villa was home to our family of 8 (four 20+ year olds, three 50+ yo, and one 90 yo grandma) for 10 days and to say it offered something for everyone is an understatement. We mostly hung out in the great room (family room, game room w pool table, kitchen & the lanai). It is very spacious and the hidden sliders totally gave it that indoor/outdoor living quality. The view is amazing and offered the beautiful maui sunsets and daylong enjoyment of the ocean views and wonderful Hawaiian breezes. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the bathrooms had lots of counter space - super important for 7 women haha! There's two AC units (one for bedrooms, other for great room) which was perfect since these areas often needed different temperatures. The resort amenities are great & a 2 min walk - pool, jacuzzi, gym. The location of the property is fantastic! Easily walk across the street to the beaches that run in front of the Wailea resorts. Super close to great snorkeling, access to the ocean activity stands along the Wailea walkway, super close to the other resorts for dining, and of course Kihei is 10 minutes away for a different type of Maui experience. Many great restaurants, activities within 15 minutes, and if you wanted to go to the other side of the island Paia its about a 30 min drive, and an hour to the north - Lahaina.My only recommendation for this particular unit is to replace the upstairs lanai furniture as the rattan has seen a better day so the broken pieces can snag clothes and hurt your arms along the armrests. We used small pillows and blanket/towels to cover them up to solve the problem but I think for the longterm solution a new sofa/chair set would be awesome!We rented through CB Homes and they were AMAZING to work with! Super responsive, great follow-up and generally very helpful and concerned to ensure we had a fantastic stay - which we did!!! We will be back for sure!! I’ve stayed in the Villas about 10 years ago. It was awesome then and hasn’t changed. The view of ocean is breathtaking, the walk to ocean and Grand Wailea is short and quick. The pool area in the villas is also amazing. We spent a couple of afternoons enjoying that pool. I would rate it 10++
