James finally arrived to let us in.5. next day had James come back to let him know concerns - poor quality of rugs very rippled and dirty looking. No plug for tub. James bought one later that day.Next day discovered no plug for kitchen sink. we bought one from Target.Stove door had rust. James said he could repaint we said no.Cooking pots were damaged and lids would not fit.Bed sheets torn onl corners. and sheets for hide a bed very old lookingvacuum clearer would only run a few minutes. Reported this to James said he would bring a new vacuum. - never came.When we arrived the windows were whistling James was to send maintenance people to check out - no one came.

As usual our trip was fabulous. We have stayed in this condo previously and were very happy to have it again. It is really comfortable and well equipped. Captain Cook staff are expert and experienced, we have had any problems speedily resolved which is why we are very satisfied with them. We have already made a reservation for next year and looking forward to return to the beautiful beaches, parks and shopping all so easily accessible.

This property needs a renovation - kitchen cupboards are very old, the rug in the premises should be replaced with flooring which would be a cleaner floor covering. Do not like the cloth couch - leather-like would be cleaner. Air conditioning which works OK but if you like the balcony doors or bedroom window open or sitting on the balcony all face Kuhio Ave which is a major thoroughfare and so very street NOISY from motorcycles, cars, buses, emergency vehicle sirens and pedestrians at all hours of the day and night. The balcony is south facing so sun from 11am. The balcony is not deep so can only accommodate 2 people at the balcony table provided
Glass containers for salads or storage were not available mostly just plastic which I did not like for reheating in microwave/oven or for serving food. If you had 4 people in the premises or wanted someone over for dinner it would be difficult to have enough kitchen stock to do so. the only reason I would not want to stay there again is because of the street noise. The premises and the building were clean and the building manager responded to our needs.

The apartment building is located at the quieter edge of Waikiki, but easy walking distance to shopping, restaurants, bars, and the beach. The apartment is exactly as pictured and it was very clean. The bed was comfortable, the central air conditioning was quiet and worked well, the WIFI was fast and consistent, and the kitchen had all the needed equipment. Communication with the management was great, and checkin and checkout was easy, and I was able to checkin a little early without a problem. The only negatives I could say is the kitchen could be updated, and the living room drapes could as well. Overall, I felt very comfortable and safe and would be happy to stay there again and would recommend it.

Mostly good. Noisy in early morning with the garbage trucks, later with the construction going on across the street. Busy street - only three streets in Waikiki so you will get traffic. Convenient location. Very responsive property manager - A/C thermostat stopped working, Paul was there in 10 minutes and was able to replace it. Will comment that the carpet could be replaced as the humidity in Hawaii causes carpet to feel damp and sticky.
