We simply love this place, we have stayed here around 10 or 12 times . The team at Rentals Maui do an excellent job as always. The condo was beautiful the court yard was amazing and the grounds keeper was always keeping the pool , BBQ. in top condition. Our only disappointment was so many kids playing outside the lanai, even after sun down. I think this is more of an adult complex. I think that with a little more parental supervision that things could have been better. I understand the the children are excited to be outside playing after probably coming from some cold area. We like to come here to Waiohuli Beach to relax and enjoy the peaceful, beautiful weather and beach. But like I said in the beginning we simply love this place .

Walking distance from all the basic necessities. Pool and beach are easily accessible. Condo was completely furnished meeting all my expectations for a rental. Beach chairs, umbrella, snorkeling gear. Would def come back! Thank you for sharing this gem!

We rented two condos to celebrate my 70th birthday. This complex is beautifully landscaped with a family friendly pool and bbq/ picnics c area steps away from the beach. Who could ask for more?Our unit was comfortable, clean with all we needed to spend the day at the beach. We love to cook and the kitchen had all the utensils and pots necessary. The keyless entry was great!

As long time vacationers on Maui over many years, have stayed in many condos at Waiohuli Beach Hale and appreciated the upgrades in D-118 and best cleaned condo yet :0) So many thoughtful extras including dishwasher and laundry soaps and cleaning tools and supplies so could be kept that way :0) Mahalo to owners and cleaning crew. Needed new TV remote and Rental Maui came over timely to replace with a new one. Have recommended this private and hidden spot near the beach reminiscent of ol' Hawaii with nearness to beach and beautiful sunsets while easy walk to shopping, eateries and med care..more pluses ***** :0)

Great location, clean, quite condo! Everything we needed including beach towels, chairs, blankets, and snorkeling gear. Check in and check out was so easy. The AC is loud, and woke us up multiple times on our first night. We used the ceiling fan and opened the windows for the remainder of our trip and slep great. Would definitely stay here again!

The property was as described. Very clean, was supplied with everything needed. Snorkeling gear and boogie boards were also in the closet. The best thing for us was the location. We wanted to be in Kihei. It was within walking distance of two large strip malls with lots of places to eat and a grocery store. We were doing activities everyday so were not home most of the time but it was so nice to come back before sunset and just walk 30 seconds to the beach and watch the sunset. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay! The views were phenomenal and the isolated beach access was such a treat. The beach is rocket so you need water shoes for sure. Well maintained property. The hosts left us Beach chairs and a cooler, an umbrella, boogie boards... all so appreciated. There’s an ice maker which is a huge help. The only thing we would have asked to be a little better was the bedroom window is right by the walkway where the king goes on every time someone walks by and stays in forever. Fan in bathroom is very dirty so could use a little extra vacuuming to work more effectively. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The condo is located in a beautiful location in Kihei, with beachfront access. The condo is a little dated (looks-wise), but it has all kinds of cool things that we appreciated such as beach chairs, beach umbrella, a cooler, snorkeling gear, etc. There was a minor ant problem and we couldn’t use the TV for some reason, but otherwise a very nice stay.

The description is exactly as stated. My friend and I really only used the rental to sleep as we were out and about during the day. Nice location. The only thing we had difficulty with was with parking but other than that everything was good. Rental even came with a portable ice chest, beach chairs , snorkel gear if you needed it. Would recommend this rental.

“As Expected” Notes: My wife and I stayed here for one week in late July. It was hot outside everyday and we found the inside temperature of this unit manageable, but warm. The bedroom had an A/C unit for overnight but the rest of the unit was pretty warm with no other option beside a ceiling fan and a tower fan. The condo was fully stocked with all cutlery, dishes, minor amenities like paper towels, etc. Dishwasher and all appliances we used were functional. “Surpassed Expectation” notes: The grounds were immaculate and well maintained, quiet atmosphere and the clientele that used this condo complex were friendly and respectful. No loud parties, no disrespectful people. Pool was well maintained, barbecues were clean and functioned perfectly. The grounds of the complex were separated by a small dune, leading to a very low key beach. It is not busy with surfers, large groups, and the like. At this time of the year (late July) we were lucky to have had sea turtles using this beach nightly to sleep. “Unacceptable” Notes: none. Good FYI’s: Don’t expect good snorkelling locations just outside your back door. Expect good tanning, relaxation, friendly people, and 5 foot deep water out to 100 yards. Stay here for a quiet, semi-private beach experience.

We stayed at this property for 4 days. One of the best decision we made during our trip planning was to book this condo. Cleanly maintained, all basic amenities available, 2 mins walking distance to the beach. Kids had lot of fun enjoying the pool and the backyard. Only improvement I can think of is the AC unit, it was noisy and didn’t seem to work effectively. Overall it was a great stay and I would definitely recommend to book this property for your stay in Maui.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying here. It was perfect for three people. Location was great - a stone’s throw from the beach, right next to markets/restaurants, and overall a good central location for exploring the rest of Maui. The unit was clean and upgraded as well and had everything we needed-even boogie boards. The other visitors and residents at the condos were also very kind. I would recommend this place to others.

It was definitely a great experience: having breakfast at patio with beautiful garden view. The next door neighbors are a nice Canadian couple who are owners and only rent to two people. The location is great and Safeway is nearby. Safeway has best poke and to my surprise, a Korean favorite (soy sauce marinated crab), which the quality was better than the one someone would get in Korean town in lower Manhattan. The beach is quiet and private.

This is our second time staying at Waiohuli Beach Hale and it won't be our last. This trip we rented three units for us and our two daughters and their families. Everything was so nice and the grandkids loved and large pool and being able to walk to the ocean.

Unit was easy to find when we arrived. No issues parking at all. Quiet little complex with a nice pool and a decent beach right in front. Plenty of cooking pots/pans, utensils, oils, and spices. The beach chairs, and boogie boards were great to have. Would stay here again for sure.

Overall, my family have a great time in Kihei at this property. Area was safe. Pool area and access to beach were great. The bare necessities like soap and paper towels were available. Lots of parking Some complaints were 1) the AC being too loud, leaking, and not being able to cool down the entire unit, 2) communication with the property managers was difficult and sparse, 3) I found a dead cockroach underneath the master bed. Overall though, I'd recommend staying here and I'd come back as long as the unit was cleaned better.

Convenient oceanfront condo location around the corner from Times supermarket and lots of restaurants and other services. Unit was clean, well furnished and equipped and well-kept. Loved Maui Pies, Tanpopo and Nalu's nearby. Owner should consider upgrading/replacing old towels and dishware but they were plentiful. Thanks for the great stay!

We enjoyed our family reunion with 11 other condos being rented from Rentals Maui for our family. The units were clean and well maintained. This is a great find. It is in a perfect spot of town on a very beautiful and quiet beach. We never saw more than about 15 people on the beach at one time. There were turtles swimming at our feet. The room was great. It had everything we needed. The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. We will definitely return to this one.

The check in and check out process was very simple and easy! The condo was beautiful and updated. Had everything you could need. We stayed in a different unit in the complex (more people, we needed a 2 bedroom for the first half of our trip) and this one had more kitchen utensils, cleaning supplies, boogie boards. The location is great. We did not go swimming at the beach in front of the condo, we went right down the road to the world famous Big Beach. But having the beach right there was great for sunrise and sunset beach walks. Every night when the sun went down big turtles would come up on the beach to sleep so that was awesome to see. The pool is very nice, clean and warm. Great spot for sunbathing or reading by the pool. There is a grocery store right next to the condo (30 second walk) which was fantastic! The only downfall was that there was no AC in the living room. This makes it hard if you will be spending your evenings there or having part of your party sleep on the pull out couch. The living room gets uncomfortably hot. We went and bought a fan at costco and it still didnt help much. This property is prominently senior guests and residents, so quiet hours are very strict, the seniors WILL complain if you are talking loudly, laughing or have the TV up past 10pm, so if you plan on having a rowdy vacation, I recommend looking elsewhere. Other than the lack of AC in the living room, we had a great stay and highly recommend this place to others.

Our family of four (two elementary aged kids, two adults) enjoyed our stay at Waiohuli Beach Hale #D-118 and plan to return again. Our unit was clean and comfortable and we appreciated the well stocked kitchen, closet with beach supplies (small cooler, boogie boards, beach towels, etc.) and outdoor seating views of the garden. Waiohuli Beach Hale is a smaller condo complex that is conveniently located in Kihei but is away from the hustle and bustle of larger hotels/condos. The grounds and common areas at the complex were beautifully maintained and our family enjoyed the lap-length swimming pool. Other guests/condo owners were polite to our family and even pointed out a beached turtle to us on our first night there.

This spot was perfect for our needs; there is a grocery store only minutes walking distance and small shops for shopping, spa services, snorkel rentals, and frozen treats! It is perfectly centralized between Kahului and Wailea. We had a small patio where we enjoyed playing cards in the evening after the sunset ceremony on the beach (which is right out the door). A clean, quiet and friendly rental that lived up to all our expectations!
