Lovely three bedroom condo, walking distance to the pool and restaurant, outfitted with everything we needed. My kids, my husband and I, and my mom all had a blast and would love to stay here again. Such a seamless experience. Thank you!

We stayed here w my family and my brother and his wife. The proximity to the pool was key for our young boys- they loved the levels and waterfalls! I ran the triathlon down the street and this location made access easy. The place was clean and well spaced out. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location. Grounds are beautiful. Stocking basic items would make this house so much better. There was a small amount of salt and pepper, and literally nothing else in kitchen. No beach towels or first aid kit.

Halii Kai is a very nice condo community in Waikoloa Beach. The highlight is the community pool, restaurant and bar, located on the black rock overlooking the ocean, makes you feel like you are at a resort hotel. Out unit was a short few minutes walk to the pool. We enjoyed the walking paths south to the Hilton and north through the lava rocks. The condo itself has 3 comfortable bedrooms and 2 baths plus a nice kitchen which was well equipped. The unit is on a the ground level which is nice because it extends the lanai into the green grass and garden like landscaping. It accommodated 6 people very well.

My mother and I spent a wonderful, relaxing week at this condo. It's perfectly situated near the pool and clubhouse, which we discovered is very important at Hali'i Kai. We remarked more than once that we were so glad we were not in units closer to the main road as it would be a very long walk and quite difficult for mom. This unit is well appointed, the master suite is especially spacious with a very nice en suite. Housekeeping visited once mid week to take out trash and leave fresh towels. This was fine with us, and those who need more frequent visits can request as an add-on. The daily fee that covers the housekeeping and access to the pool was an additional $10 per day, which was reasonable. The wifi was easy to access via a code provided at check in. This was my fourth trip to the Big Island, and every previous time I have stayed along the Kohala Coast at major hotels. This time, rather than pay exorbitant hotel rates and resort fees we decided to check VRBO. This decision was the right one. For much less than the cost of two rooms and the logistical challenges of meeting for meals, etc, we had plenty of space and the ability to have breakfast and lunch in the condo or the pool (the spinach salad was a favorite). The Hali'i Kai is a beautiful spot from the condos to the pool area. Quiet, well managed, very friendly staff. Waikoloa Resort offers good restaurant options, and some shopping. These are a long walk or easy drive from Hali'i Kai. Having been around the island several times, we stayed close to home for the week. However, it is a great location for day trips to see all this incredible place has to offer. The owner was very responsive during the reservation stage and the check in and out processes were a breeze. We would definitely return to this condo on our next visit to the island of Hawaii!

My husband and I stayed in this unit for 3 nights at the end of a 2 week vacation both on the Big Island and Maui. It was wonderful to have such a well appointed and beautifuly furnished condo for the end of a very busy 2 weeks... Being an end unit it was lovely to have natural light on two sides. We also loved being within a short walk of the pool and fitness centre. It truely was a luxury stay. The pictures on the site accurately showed the unit and the owner was responsive to emails. I would definately recommend this property.

We stayed at this unit for 5 nights and we just loved it. The condo is nicely furnished and decorated. It is also well equipped with every thing you need. It is only two minutes to the pool and club house. The club house has cafe and exercise room right in front of the ocean. The landscaping is beautiful around the whole complex with palm trees and tropical flowers, etc. Hali'i Kai is right next to the Hilton Resort which is one of largest hotels in the world. you can walk from Hali'i Kai to the Hotel in 10 minutes. At the Hotel, you can enjoy asian art works, swin with Dolphins and have many restaurants to choose from. Hali'i Kai is also very close to sandy beaches, terrific restaurants, and many championship golf courses. We will love to visit Hali'i Kai and stay in this unit again.
