This was our first trip to Hawaii. We were traveling with our 12 year old son for a family vacation. This property was perfect for us. The location of this condo provided walking access to the beach, shopping and plenty of restaurants. The 19th floor gave a perfect view of the ocean. We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. We would stay at this condo again.

We loved the location and view and overall layout of the condo. However, the furniture was worn and tired. It has a very nice kitchen with lots of pots and pans and utensils but strangely had only large heavy dinner plates and bowls with no small or medium plates for lunches, etc. But the biggest disappointment was that the pool and hot tup were closed for renovation and the construction noice was annoying all day. We would not have booked this condo had we known this in advance.

The property is in a great location and all staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. The view was amazing from the porch.
The property itself was in need of many repairs, one of which was the AC. It wasn’t working/cooling properly, and in need of a deep clean (lint and dirt hanging inches out from the air vent). Several of the shelves in the refrigerator were cracked and unusable. In the second bathroom, the towel bar was hanging from the wall and the shower towel hook was missing. Threshold in one area was taped down with medical tape. Pool was closed. Would not stay there again.

Paul, the property manager was awesome and very responsive. Property was very clean, and great views but with a couple of quirks. One is that there was only one sad sachet of coffee provided. We paid a lot of money, a little coffee would have been nice. Also, the master bedroom closet doubles as a broom and storage closet--the old and very large dresser, the Swifter, the broom, vacuum cleaner, the boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrella are all in the same space as your nice clothes. Pretty off-putting. Also, the lobby has a very strong signature scent, ok if you like it, but might give those with smell sensitivities a headache.

The suite was just as advertised and we so enjoyed ourselves. We found ourselves outside on the balcony for most of our waking hours. Forgot our binoculars, so ordered some from Amazon. There was so much to see. The bed in the master was very comfortable and there was plenty of closet space and cabinet space. The property was clean and I was impressed with the security of the building. You had to have a fob in order to operate the elevator. The property manager was very helpful!

The unit is in desperate need of repairs, floors crumble before reaching the moldings, the sliding doors to the Lanai don't open without a significant struggle, and losing the towel service was a great inconvenience

The location was walking distance to a million things, but the beach and the water were the start of the show. Pretty good snorkeling, surfing and boogieboarding right out the front door. Diamond Head was a good hike from inside the crater, and the luau at the Hale Koa was amazing.

This was such a perfect location for our recent family vacation.
The views from the balcony were fantastic. I sat out there each morning to have my cup of coffee and then again in the nighttime to wind down for the day.
The location worked out really well as it is just across from Waikiki Beach as well as within walking distance of tons of stores and restaurants.
The condo itself was nice. There is an electronic lock which was nice to not have to have yet another key/keycard to bring with you each day (although a fob is needed to use the elevator and gain access to your floor). The master bath had a waterfall shower which was great. Each bathroom had heated toilet seats (which my little daughters thought were amazing, LOL!). All appliances in the condo were in working order and we had zero issues with using any of them.
We’ll gladly stay here again the next time we come to Hawaii!

We had a super time here! The unit itself is in a great location on Waikiki, with the beach across the street and countless restaurants and shops within walking distance. There is valet parking. When you go to your unit you walk through a lobby. There is a nice pool and hot tub. Towels are provided by the building for the pools as well as for the beach. Inside the unit, great furnishings, everything comfortable. Incredible views.
The only thing I would suggest an improvement on was the checkin process. We were told that we had to call the property manager as soon as our plane landed. We did, and he told us to call him as soon as we got to the unit. We did, and he told us to go on up, he texted me the door code, and gave me checkout instructions by phone. All very polite and helpful, but it seemed needlessly complicated - almost all other rentals simply give you the door code and that's it. It added stress to have all these warnings to call him or face a long checkin delay, for no discernible reason.
One thing people should understand is that Waikiki Beach has a crowded, touristy feel, kind of like the Vegas Strip on a beach. If you want historical sites, fine dining, shopping (from cheap souvenirs to Prada & Gucci) and lots of activities, it's great - e.g. most Pearl Harbor tours will pick you up from Waikiki hotels! If you want a quiet, secluded beach vacation without a skyscraper in sight, this is not the place! We stayed here for a couple days (after staying on another island) because we wanted to visit Pearl Harbor and other historical sites.
Anyways, overall it was a great unit and I'd heartily recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Honolulu.

The dryer in the condo was not working as it was missing parts which was a huge convenience. The choice to stay at this location was due in large part to the a availability of a washer and dryer. The cost of the stay was not inexpensive and we expected to have access to all amenities. Additionally I’m not sure that the condo was thoroughly checked for cleanliness as we also found under garments from a prior stay in the washer. Somewhat disappointing.

We enjoyed unit 1903. Captain Cook staff and management were extremely helpful. The view is amazing - you can watch all the boats and surfers in Waikiki. Waikiki is a city-like location with people from all over the world. There is a "cityscape" soundtrack, which I enjoyed. You don't need a car as everything is very walkable if you enjoy walking. You can use trips and guides to go to the North Shore, the sandbar and other tourists spots, which is really easy because you don't have to drive and park.The free valet parking is great if you have a car. We only used a car twice. Rented from Avis at the International Market Place which was easy for pick up and drop off. We only really used the car to go to Lanikai Beach and do a larger grocery shop at Whole Foods. I also liked shopping at the Food Pantry, more toward the north end of Waikiki.You can also rent beach chairs and an umbrella from the Sheraton, which is fun. You can keep your towels and floats there and come and go as you want from 8-4. The beach at Waikiki is so warm and gentle you can just float in the bay and look at Diamond Head. It's crowded but fun if you like people watching.

My family of 5 had a great time here! The pictures are spot on with the views. The condo was so gorgeous and had plenty of space for us to spread out when we needed a break from the sun. The kids loved the boogie boards and I appreciated not having to rent them.
The location is walkable to anything you could want as well. The staff there were all friendly.

We spent 4 nights in WBT #1903. The condo is in a fantastic location and the views of Waikiki Beach from the condo (not to mention the building) are unbeatable. You are right in the middle of everything that Waikiki has to offer. The condo itself is appointed very well and it is very comfortable. All beds/mattresses are comfortable, as is the sleeper sofa in the living room. There are ample seating areas inside as well as on the lanai. The kitchen is perfect for vacation use. Bathrooms are very nice and clean. The small washer and dryer in the master bathroom is perfect for small loads that you might do on vacation. The building is very nice, and onsite staff is very helpful and friendly. They offer 24/7 valet parking, beach towels, etc. The condo itself has a couple of beach chairs and an umbrella, as well as a boogie board, for use at the beach.

The condo was beautiful and looked like it did in the photos. We had 6-7 people staying here and there was plenty of room for us all, with the couch bed and the additional cot. The patio is a wonderful place to watch the sunsets or to drink your morning coffee. The walk to the beach is less than 5 minutes. There is a nice pool and hot tub area that we used, and a big workout room that we didn’t use, in the condo building as well. Overall, it was a great place to stay! I would recommend it for sure!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It housed my family for four plus the grandparents comfortably.
The views were amazing..we couldn't have gotten any closer. The beach is right across the street. In the heart of Waikiki, we were close to everything. You are right on the main street, very close to the police station, so if you leave the sliders open, you will hear sirens pretty regularly.
Paul, our property manager, was very helpful at check in and advised us of our check out duties at that time, so that we were prepared at the time.
We also had a parking spot, so that made self parking a breeze.
We will definitely book with Captain Cook when we visit the island again.

Stunning view, right across the street from the beach, with easy access to restaurants and shopping. Unit has comfortable beds, AC, is tastefully decorated, tho somewhat minimally equipped - no juice glasses for example, so we drank our juice out of wine/champagne glasses in the morning. And there were no condiments or cooking oil for us to use so make sure and pick those up at the store.
The staff was super helpful and got us squared away on arrival and then left us alone. Would definitely stay here again - thanks!

It was my fiancé and step daughter’s first time coming to this beautiful island! When i tell you this view is perfect, it was amazing! The view is to die for! Cleanliness was spotless! We stayed 6 nights during 2015 Christmas break and found this apartment (1903) the most convenient and luxury- the location couldn't be any better in Waikiki, everything you need is downstairs and around corner, beach, restaurants, stores, you name it. The apartment itself is large, clean, with full ocean view balcony, and abundant supply of towels and beach chairs and toys/boards etc. Wifi is strong and fast, full HD cable TV - I even get NHL Network, just these two will beat the best hotels hands down. Paul is very responsive and flexible in communication and arrangement during our stay, he not only gave us late checkout for our late afternoon departure flight but also offered an free night of stay if we need (we didn't), that pretty much gave us an extra whole day to enjoy Waikiki beach and shopping right downstairs. Highly recommended.

The accommodation was really great, very clean and well equipped. The location was perfect, the girls walked most mornings, we guys went for coffee !(Starbucks v good), it was located very centrally for everything we wanted, the parking valets were terrific - nothing was too much trouble. We had a car so valet parking was so easy. WBT also has security so very safe. Safeways Supermarket was only a 5 minute drive and had everything you would need. easy to find when travelling and convenient for highway. We are considering going back next year - Well Done Captain Cook

We had an amazing stay in this property for three nights on the way home to Australia. The view is breathtaking and you cannot ever get bored of it. Day and night it is beautiful. The location is perfect for everything. Shops, restaurants and the beautiful beach and lagoon are mins away. The apartment is well equipped and the staff in the lobby were lovely. Free hula show at sunset on Tues, Thur and Sat night just across the road next to the beach is a must see. I didnt want to leave this true piece of paradise and definitely plan to return for longer as soon as we can.

Lovely apartment that is reasonably priced. The accommodation is well positioned with great views, very clean and in an excellent position. Only complaints, though minor, are- no working phone for the whole week we were there, despite asking- terrible pillows (paper thin and well worn) though very comfy bed- 3 wine glasses for an apt that sleeps 6- smell from the dishwasher, needs a good descaleA little attention to these small things would easily raise the accommodation to a 5 star rating.

Our family of 18 rented 4 Waikiki Beach Tower condos the first week of August through Captain Cook. All of our units were comfortable, with views overlooking Waikiki/Kuhio Beach, but 1903 was special! It is beautifully decorated, has an open floor plan that allowed all 18 of us room to sit inside or on the deck for happy hour on two evenings. Our favorite part was enjoying sunrise on our deck with a cup of coffee/tea each morning. The valet service was excellent, with Eddie & Ed handling the bulk of our daily 3-minivan caravans. Byron Wickard settled us into our 4 condos, with Paul Tucker handling a couple questions on #1903. The ladies at Captain Cook are very gracious, answering many of my questions over the past year--it takes a lot to get 18 people to Oahu for a week! WBT helped us create "forever memories" for our family of kids and grandkids.

We stayed 14 nights in this condo during May/June 2015. We have travelled to Oahu many times over the past 15 years however this was our first stay in a condo. The location is excellent, right across the street from Kuhio beach and easy walking to all shops and restaurants. The condo looks exactly as it is represented in the photos and the view from the lanai is sensational with chairs and lounges to relax. Inside was a well equipped kitchen with large refrigerator including ice machine. The second bedroom also had beach chairs, boogie boards and other beach amenities for use. The condo is fitted with its own washer/dryer which saved on laundry. The tower also has a pool & spa which we used on one occasion and enjoyed. We had a fabulous stay in #1903 and would highly recommend the condo and Captain Cook Resorts. Mahalo

Overall a lovely and secure location overlooking Waikiki Beach.The refurbishments have been carried out tastefully but the kitchen cabinetry needs replacement with doors broken and quite smelly inside the cupboards. An electric kettle would have been good and old broken appliances should be thrown out. The lounge suite is pretty tired and the balcony glass sliding door needs some TLC.

We booked this condo sight unseen. We needed space for my husband and I plus our daughter, husband and baby. It was everything we hoped for and more. The lanai was huge and looked straight out to an unobstructed view of the ocean. We would definitely stay there again. It was super high end and clean and very quiet. Eight nights, zero problems. Check-in was quick and easy. He met us as we arrived, showed us what was where, then disappeared. Wouldn't even accept a tip. Check-out was even simpler; just leave the keys and go. Bed and furniture were very comfortable. At hotels, I usually just live out of my suitcase, but here we really moved in. With 2 bedrooms 2 baths, living room, kitchen, walk-in closet and all amenities, it was truly a home away from home. After being out and about, I found myself saying Let's go home (rather than back to our room), because it really felt that way. After our stay, instead of being happy to sleep in my own bed again, I was missing that big shower with multiple shower heads. One was the overhead, rain type. The view is amazing from room #1903. I knew this in advance, which was better than wondering which floor we'd be on. It is just the right height and faces straight at the beach. Out on the large balcony, you can just sit and see everything up and down the beach. Wake up and see the weather, surf and people in and out of the water. No bugs or insects out on the balcony, but occasionally you could lure a white bird to you with food and eventually get him to land on your fingers and eat out of your hand. If we return to Waikiki, we will definitely call the Capt Cook people to get the same room. So if its available and you can afford it, just stop looking and book it. You'll be glad you did.
