The condo is just as advertised, very clean with a stunning view and My Perfect Stay was wonderful. The only drawbacks and reason for the overall 4-star was due to: only giving you 2 beach towels (we stayed 10 days); the VRBO listing stated there was a washer/dryer in the unit (there is, but locked and can't use), and the unit would get very warm in the afternoon.

The condo is near several good beaches, has a great view, and is comfortable.
The patio door needs to be serviced and I wouldn't recommend the unit to anyone that has difficult lifting/pushing/pulling 40lbs until it is.

We loved staying at this apartment in Kahana Reef. It had an unobstructed view to the ocean, cute beach on the side & not to mention no. of times we saw rainbows from the patio while sipping coffee. This apartment does not have AC, however, please note that since we were visiting early December we did not need one, the temperature would go down in the night & the bedrooms had a window with mosquito net which helped in keeping the ventilation on & providing great atmosphere in the room. MyPerfectStays did a great job of keeping in touch while we stayed at the property. They provided an additional floor fan on request. The owner made sure we had the basic things used for cooking like salt/pepper/oil/sugar/coffee/coffeefilters. All the cookware you would need with additional thermos that came handy during our early morning trip to the mountains. The place was clean when we reached, also the cleaning lady arrived in time on the day we checked-out. They provided enough towels, basic toiletries for the stay. Additionally, the owner had provided with basic beach items for 2 adults like chair, mat, towels so you don't have to carry one. Hope this review helps people make a decision. The location was perfect! Not too busy and close to quite a few amenities. The view was unbelievable with lots of sea turtle sightings and the most beautiful sunsets. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The place was very clean. Lots of towels and beach towels. Check in/out instructions were communicated well, as well as frequent communication making sure our trip was going well and to see if we had any questions. Roku TV's were a plus. The teenagers slept on the pull out bed, it was squeaky but they said it was comfortable. No AC, but multiple fans and we slept with the doors open as the screen doors both locked. When the tide was low, there is a beautiful beach, but even when the water is high, you can walk down the stairs into the ocean.

Kahana Reef 321 was absolutely perfect! From the location to the views, it was hands down the best vacation we have been on! My Perfect Stays were so accommodating. We did not have any issues that needed addressed but I have no doubt they would have been handled in a timely fashion. I 100% recommend them for all your vacation needs!

Would have been a 5 star but a couple of guys and named bud and Gordon who say they where the board of directors accused me and my wife skinning dipping and being loud and causing issues. He called my grandfather who has owned a condo there for 30+ years and co.olanined to him. Which none of this was true but still kinda made the stay like we where being watched all the time. Other then that loved it and had a great time qe will be back.

The property was just as advertised and we enjoyed our time. We had everything we needed and appreciated the morning coffee on the lanai watching whales, dolphins and turtles. Not much access directly from the complex to a beach but was a short drive to beaches and restaurants. The living room couch could be updated but other than that - no criticism.

This property is in an excellent location. It is very clean and kept up very well. The parking lot can get very full but there always seemed to be a space. The pool was decent. We even took advantage of one of the gas grills. Everything was as advertised.
Our particular unit was very nice. The kitchen was stocked with everything you might need. The bedroom and living rooms were also furnished well. The unit also came with two great beach chairs and several beach towels which were much appreciated.
There were a couple of related issues though that should be pointed out. One. The listing states that their is no A/C. That is accurate and was an area of concern for us, but being right on the beach we thought there was a chance the ocean breezes and ceiling fans would be enough. At night they were. During the day, it gets pretty hot. Not unbearable, but hot.
As I mentioned, night brought some cooling breezes and the ceiling fans did a good job. That was until the neighborhood rooster began crowing. No, it wasn't at daybreak. It ranged from 3AM to 430AM until 7. Every morning. Now I have been to several islands in Hawaii and know that chickens there are just a part of the scene. But this was pretty bad. I am not sure if it belonged to someone or was a wild bird but it was a real source of sleeplessness for us. By day 4 we were zombies. We both grew up in very rural areas and never experienced anything quite like it. Beware.

This is the 3rd time I have stayed at Kahuna Reef. I love sitting on the balcony watching for turtles! The location is so close to some great snorkeling beaches and restaurants. Finally, the condo unit is very quiet. My only complaint was I wished the unit had air conditioning but I knew it didn’t going in. There are nice ceiling fans that worked well and the breeze off the water was nice too. Only had one small issue with the ice maker during our stay and the Property Manager sent a repair man over that same day! I really enjoyed my stay at Kahana Reef and would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Clean, up to date condo is right on the ocean. We can only see the water from inside the condo! Sunsets here are spectacular! There is a beach here, and we’re other great beaches are a short drive away. Great place!!!

I love this condo! The kitchen was well stocked. We cooked there most meals and had all the things we needed. The lanai is perfect with an amazing view. The beach is down to the right and great sand. Conveniently located between Lahaina and Kapalua. I would definitely stay again!

Perfect view, very close to the water. Probably the best location within this complex. Pretty close quarters for two adults. Lanai was smaller than expected and could use new furniture. Kitchen and bathroom were newly remodeled but bathroom is small, but the unit is small so not much you can do about it.
The decor is attractive but the sleeper sofa was pretty uncomfortable to sit on.
Excellent laundry facilities for the complex. The pool is small.

Our family enjoyed watching the whales from the deck the most. The beach just next to us was great. Mostly calm waves with the reef. We didn't spend a ton of time in the condo. It was mostly just for sleeping. We loved the convenient location for beach, restaurant and grocery access. The Chinese restaurant across the street was super tasty too!

The only good thing about this condo is the view. But please don't get lured by any special rates for this condo because you will pay more for your troubles while staying. There was always an issue here. The bed was horrible, worse than what you would imagine a Motel 6 would have. It basically sunk and the bedframe creaked every time you moved. We felt every spring digging into our backs as we tossed and turned. After a long flight, this is not what you want. After reaching out to the management company the following day, they initially offered no viable solutions. They ended up provided a memory foam becauseof my persistence, but it was so thin that you still felt the springs. The General Manager claimed that I was the first person to report this problem and said beds are subjective. Well looking at just the November reviews, 2 mentioned the awful bed. The company and the owner didn't care for our terrible nights.
On the third night, we had no electricity in the master bedroom. My husband needs it for his sleep machine so he was forced to sleep on the sleeper sofa, which was worse than the bed. Our night time routine for our toddler was thrown off. Plus, we had no ceiling fan so thick air all through the night. Again, another sleepless night. We felt like zombies during the whole time because of this place. Several calls into the night and the following morning to get the electricity repaired. Crazy ridiculous. We're supposed to be on vacation.
Also, the railing isn't safe for any small child. So be aware. We note that there are paint cans store in the bedroom closet. Why do you want to subject your guests to paint fumes? I urge everyone to avoid this condo and anytime you see the property management "A perfect stay" became they don't care about guests at all.

This was a very nice property. It was well stocked with an amazing view. The little beach adjacent to it provided easy access to the water and it was great to have beach chairs provided. The only negative was the bed. The mattress was worn out and very loud with every movement.

Easy access, great communication with management company. They left us a welcome package. All the things you need are there. Updated shower and kitchen. Nice decor. NO A/C which is an sue during the day when it's humid. Although at night you don't need it. The fans are enough and when you leave the patio open you can hear the ocean get the breeze. The pool is subpar no chairs to set in have o bring your own. But the VIEW is undescribable at night...in its self is worth it especially during whale season. The bed needs to be updated. It's okay but everytime you move the frame sounds like it's gonna break and the mattress is indented. All and all I'd rent again. Thank you 😊

My husband and I came to Maui to celebrate our Babymoon. Our condo was wonderful. Great location and views. We cooked in most nights and enjoyed the quiet complex. Close drive to Napili Bay and walking distance to Maui Brewing Company. Be aware the unit do NOT have AC. They have two fans in the bedroom to keep cool, which wasn't a problem for us, but wanted to note it for other visitors who are thinking of staying.

My husband and I really enjoyed our get vacation at this oceanfront, nicely updated unit. The bed was comfortable and the unit had everything we needed (towels, toiletries, beach chairs). We enjoyed spending time on the easily accessible beach and by the pool. No-contact check in and check process was quick and easy. Free parking was a plus too! Mahalo for a great stay!

My husband and I booked this property for our honeymoon, July 2021, and were thoroughly impressed! Property management was extremely responsive to a wifi issue and they showed up the same day to swap out the old equipment for new. The views from the Lanai were picturesque and the unit is within close proximity to all that you could want or need. We will definitely be booking again in the near future!

The condo location is perfect and we can not expect better view from the balcony than this one. Condo had all the basic facilities, fully equipped kitchen as well as beach chair and towels and we were happy with that. There is no AC as it is already mentioned in listing so it does get a little hot especially in July in afternoon time from 3 to 6 or so. The other reason I gave four start is that the bathroom exhaust was not functional. I submitted a request to get it fixed and I was told that technician will come in and do it next day but he did not show up. I followed up again and schedule another time but they never showed up. However, I just let it pass through as I did not want to spend all my time in calling myperfectstay and follow up on this.

Property is exactly as described. Perfect for a couple. Well stocked kitchen, nice bathroom and comfortable beds. Pool is not great but we were happy to go swim on small beach adjacent to the property. Beautiful sunsets and we enjoyed eating our breakfasts on the balcony.

We enjoyed our stay very much and the views were outstanding! Jennifer the owner was a joy to communicate with and made our stay come to together with ease. I write this with the sound of the ocean right outside our Lani and the feel of the ocean breeze is heaven. We saw turtles right outside our Lani. My 13 year old would fall asleep to the sound of the waves each night while looking at the stars. It's hard to have to leave this place, I could stay forever! The condo was cozy, but perfect or the 3 of us! Mahalo!!

A wonderful view on Malokai and Lanai right from the condo. This condo is in a rather small complex (comparatively) and, thus, it feels more quiet and peaceful, which is a great thing in our book. We saw several turtles eating algae right by the seawall (you can see them from the balcony!), which was a highlight of our trip. Jennifer was very communicative and accommodating, for which we are very grateful. We would certainly stay here again! Thank you!

Our parents made their first visit to Hawaii to celebrate 50 years of marriage. This condo was perfect for all their needs. They spent time on the lanai for breakfast each day, then again for sunset each day. The view from the lanai was spectacular. There was a parkng spot available which came in handy. The location in Kahana was perfect. Very close to many beaches, shopping and restaurants. They will never forget Maui and the place they called home for a week.

Just a short car or Uber ride to Kaanapali/Front Street, and easy to get to everything we wanted to do on the island. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it! We stayed 4 nights in April 2018 before moving on to the Big Island. When we first walked into the condo, we were blown away by the stunning view! The condo was very clean and the decor was updated nicely. Loved the pictures on the walls. The bed was very comfortable. It was stocked with many beach toys to use, which was very much appreciated. It was nice to be able to walk down a few stairs and be on the beautiful beach. The Kahana area is wonderful and the condo is within walking distance to restaurants. Jenn was wonderful to work with! Very personable. Loved all the helpful information she sent prior to arriving. We had no problems during our stay but if we did, we know they would have been resolved immediately.
The sunsets were amazing and we even saw a turtle in the ocean from the balcony. Highly recommend this place!

We have had the best time staying at the Kahana Reef. This condo is the best location! Very private! Awesome view, where we spotted whales, turtles & a small nerf shark. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in Maui. Very conveniently located to beaches, restaurants.

We stayed 2 weeks 3/20/2018. The condo was exactly as described. Jennifer was easy to do business with and responded quickly to my questions during the booking and payment process. Arrived a little after 3pm and condo was clean and ready. Access code and lots of information arrived about 2 weeks prior to arrival complete with driving directions so was an easy 1 Hour drive from airport.
The view is amazing. Direct ocean front, 3rd floor unit second from the end in closest building to the water. You can see turtles and the ocean bottom right from the lovely balcony seats. (Three tall chairs, a table and chaise lounge).
The grounds are well kept. Ample parking every day.
Bed was comfortable, pillows and linen were quality grade. Bathroom has nice roomy shower with newer tile and equipped with basics so you don't have to run to grocery store your first night.
Kitchen has everything you need to cook, but only salt and pepper so bring or buy your spices. Fridge had ice maker for our daily cooler fill (small cooler provided for our daily adventures).
Ceiling fans and ocean breeze kept us cool on 80 degree days this time of year.
The small beach to right of building was nice. Snorkeling right in front of building was fun and saw turtles and a few fish and small patches of coral.
Ate at China boat across the street, Dollies and Maui Brewing Co. Walk parallel to the road through the complex across the street instead of the berm (no sidewalk). All were good and average price for Maui.
My only complaint (minor) is the laundromat was open 8 to 6, which made it hard to finish a load after a long day of fun. Would like to see it stay open later.
This is the perfect place to stay if you want to unwind and relax but be close to the resorts and shopping. I would highly recommend.

An ideal location with fantastic views over the ocean, we saw turtles from our balcony.
Very good location close to rental cars and also very close to the smaller airport which was convenient, and actually a much nicer airport to travel through.
Plenty of little beaches and amenities, with easy driving distance to the major hotels and lots of little beach bars and restaurants.
The apartment/condo was perfect for us and our small child, and had all the facilities of a modern hotel with a large kitchen fully kitted out.
The owner was amazing throughout the booking process and in preparation for our stay, and also after we had left. We just wish we had stayed another week!

We stayed for 6 nights with our 10 month old baby in November. With the view it was hard to want to leave to sight see. There is a reef with awesome snorkeling right in the backyard. We saw plenty of fish and even saw an eel. The water is pretty shallow so you want to be careful, but if the visibility is decent you'll see fish (only one day that we didn't see them). You can also hear the waves crashing throughout the condo. Amazing sound to fall asleep too. While I want to keep this secret spot to myself, I highly recommend you visit! I will be back for certain!
