A perfect location in a perfect house with an incredibly thoughtful host. It’s not easy to find a place like this. We had a wonderful time.

Our 3 generation family of 9 had an amazing stay at this home. Pictures don’t even do it justice, honestly. Large home with plenty of space for us to spread out as needed but also get together as a group. Anaik was EXTREMELY responsive and helpful to some AC issues we had, which were ultimately remedied and we were quite comfortable. She was very attentive to anything we could have asked for. The area of Anahola is not known as the best part of Kauai but the location of this beautiful home felt very safe and tucked away off the main road. There are great food trucks and shops and anything else you could want within about a 20 min drive, and you are less than a half hour drive from the airport. Found it was easy to navigate around the island and get to many fun activities well within an hour away. The beach here at the home is not very wide, so don’t expect to throw a towel on the sand and sunbathe on it, but with some proper water shoes it is great to go out snorkeling in the morning from or take a stroll down when the tide is low. You can easily and comfortably do your sunbathing in the back yard though and still enjoy the ocean to its fullest. My 7 and 14 year old daughters loved the hammock on the deck of the 2nd floor- perfect place to take a nap or read a book and enjoy the sounds and views of the waves-truly beautiful! House is fully stocked with towels, toiletries and there are a variety of spices and gadgets in the kitchen. Would stay again!

Our family enjoyed the location between princeville and Kapaa and the ocean view the best. Each morning we walked the neighborhood and then snorkeled or kayaked to cool off. The house was large and we didn’t use a lot of the space as we only had 6. Tip: if air conditioning is a priority stay in the upstairs queen bedroom. It’s the only mini split attached to an exterior wall and therefore the only one that truly worked. We slept pretty hot each night and our kids slept with windows opened for a breeze. Definitely bring water shoes for the ocean. The property is extremely well kept and stocked. The decor is beautiful. The layout of the home is beautiful and the backyard has shady and sunny spots. Our kids loved the hammocks. We had a great time and enjoyed the home and neighborhood.

I rented this house in August and couldn’t wait to return! It is a beautiful home with bedrooms that face the ocean and a huge kitchen. The grounds are beautiful, as well. It is located mid-island so it was easy to drive north or south for our daily excursions. There were only four of us on this trip and the house sleeps many more, but it was the perfect setting for our Hawaiian trip.

We had two two families and multiple generations staying together and absolutely loved this place. The property management team was also incredible for some smaller things we needed help with (the AC broke in 2 rooms but they worked diligently to repair it in a couple of days) and the house itself was amazing as was the location on a very private beach. Would absolutely love to stay here again.

This home is absolutely GORGEOUS!! Loved the decor!! We visited as a group of two families (12 total) and it was perfect for us to spend quality time together! Its roominess also allowed us to break from everyone when needed and enjoy some peaceful alone time on the beach, patio or extra living areas. Very clean. Well stocked kitchen. Cozy bed/pillows. A wonderful vacation that went by way too fast!
Thank you for sharing your home🌴🌊

We had a group of old friends having a reunion, five couples and a single. Everyone loved the place. There was an individual bedroom and bathroom for everyone. It is very roomy. We could all visit in the kitchen area, all fit in the dining room, and all eat together outside on the patio. It was lovely to have the ocean as our constant companion. Anaik responded promptly the few times I needed to reach her. We would not hesitate to recommend it to a group our size.

This property far exceeded our expectations. My husband and I booked this house for a family vacation with our 2 adult kids, their spouses, 5 grandchildren ages 1.5 to 7, and a nanny. The house accommodated everyone very comfortably. It's huge and has wonderful places for everyone to gather, as well as space for quiet time alone or in small groups. The fenced backyard is perfect for the kids, and most of the time when we were on the beach, there was no one else there. We watched grey whales as they passed by multiple times a day and enjoyed searching for anole lizards and geckos. Anaik was very responsive and wonderful to work with. We would definitely book this property again!

This home is beautiful! We stayed a week and didn’t want to leave! There were 11 of us and had more than enough room. I spent every morning on the porch overlooking the beach watching the sun rise. It is beautifully decorated, large kitchen with ample seating, great location and the beach is just steps away. This home made our first Hawaiian vacation perfect!
August 2023
Hale Aloha was as beautiful as pictured and as perfect a stay as one could hope. A dream house and location. Concierge service provided was wonderfully helpful. Thank you, Anaik.

June 2023
This is the best house! Every bedroom has a bathroom. The views from the first floor and second are hard to tear yourself away from. The kitchen has all your needs. There is a large kitchen table, dining room table, and patio table. The beach is small but has fabulous views and water to swim, kayak and snorkel in. Bring your water shoes to protect from the coral. The management is receptive. The location is perfectly in between the north and south sides of the island. We could not have asked for anything more from a Hawaiian beach home.

March 2023
What an amazing property! Perfect for our group of ten, ages 7-75. Well-kept, beautifully decorated, stocked with everything you need both inside and out (don’t rent snorkel gear until you’ve checked out what they have first), and the location was ideal. It’s a quick drive to some of our favorite beaches on the North shore yet still close enough to make Kapaa and South shore activities doable. Or, just stay at the house and enjoy the view and snorkeling ten yards out the back door (great coral, many fish and a couple eel sightings). The house owner, Anaik was exceptionally quick to help us, when the AC in one of the rooms wasn’t working she had it fixed with 24 hours. Incredible attention…better than any of the many VRBOs we’ve rented through the years. A massage on the lanai, set up by the concierge, was well worth it. If you’re looking for a silly adventure we HIGHLY recommend 808 Goat Yoga. That was our two tween girl’s favorite activity of the trip. It’s as hysterical as you imagine and just a five minute drive from the house. The owner of 808 also gives a little history and cultural significance of the Anahola area which was a bonus. Bottom line - our best VRBO experience on our favorite island. Don’t hesitate. Aloha and mahalo until next time.

Everything was as advertised. Communication and responsiveness from Anaik was great. This is a great property for a “large” family. Location makes everything on the island pretty accessible but start early if you are going to the canyon!

December 2022
We spent four days in this home and a similar property two doors down. It was wonderful! The property manager was nice to work with. It is located on the beach, and the bay had the best snorkeling we found on the island with turtles, eels, etc. The only downside we experienced is that Verizon doesn't have good signal at the homes.

December 2022
This property was perfect for both friends and family. Plenty of space to spread out but also cozy for dining and playing games.
The beach is protected and you can swim pretty much any time of the day (bring your reef shoes).
Anaik is amazing - very thoughtful and if you need anything just ask. This house has all you need!!
Aloha blessings and Mahalo

Everything about this home, from the service—which started well before the trip (Anaik is amazing)— to the house, the grounds, and the location were top notch. The house is gorgeous, the art impeccable, and the location and grounds breath taking. We had 4 kids under 5 and the huge back yard and the calm beach were fantastic. I can’t recommend this location highly enough!

The house was amazing. So well decorated, well designed, well maintained and good for our large group. The view and deck/yard is amazing. The kitchen is huge. The property manager was exceptionally responsive. Very happy with our experience

August 2022
Oh my goodness, we all loved this property. So beautiful and peaceful. The home is truly lovely, lots of room, beautifully furnished, super comfortable and lots of intriguing artwork. The owner provides just about everything you can think of, short of groceries! The setting is awe inspiring and we all loved sitting on the patio morning and night and watching the waves. The beach is very nice, but you’ll need water shoes, and we all swam every day. The stars at night were incredible to see. Honestly, this is the best property we’ve ever stayed in and we’ve stayed in a lot. Location is perfect for getting both north and south on the island. Can’t imagine anyone not falling in love Hale Aloha like we did!!

Beautiful home in an ideal location. Sitting on the lanai looking out on the ocean that was just steps away was wonderful. Our teens enjoyed having a basketball backboard and used the other balls and croquet set everyday.

This property was amazing ! The pictures do not do it justice …the house is laid out so Adults can be upstairs with breathtaking views of the ocean and the young adults in their own wing of the house … The lawn was large for volleyball , croquet , or tossing the frisbee … then open the gate and step down onto the beach and ocean .. it was a 10!!

April 2022
The word Aloha has always held special meaning for our family. When I was looking at houses to rent (my very first time renting a vacation home) and came across this one, it was just what I wanted for our daughter's small family wedding. But when I saw the name of the house, I knew it was the perfect house for us.
Like others have said, the pictures do not do the house justice. The house was absolutely a dream. The vintage Hawaiiana and surfer art throughout the house was unbelievable. The decor, bedding and furnishings were all so tastefully curated, authentically Hawaiian, clean, and so very comfortable. I'm really picky when it comes to decor and furnishings and I can honestly say there is not one thing I would have changed about Hale Aloha.
Our group was 12 adults (ages 25-60) and 3 children, so we rented the cottage also. The cottage was perfect for the family with the 3 little ones. The house itself never felt crowded as everyone had plenty of space. And each bedroom having its own bathroom was ideal. The wedding itself was at a church on the island, but we gathered at the house after for a catered dinner. The catering company loves working at the house because of the large kitchen. We cooked dinners most every night for the large group and had all the components we needed in the kitchen. The bonus beverage refrigerators and ice maker were so handy.
The beach accessories and toys were great--many were used often. The hammocks were wonderful too. We didn't turn on the TV until the last day for my son to see some sports highlights. One thing that was a pleasant surprise was the SONOS speaker system throughout the lower level.
The beach itself was great for the kids. The reef kept the big waves from coming to shore but yet they were still close enough to listen to and stare at for hours. Sleeping with the doors and windows open was my favorite way to end each night. The air conditioning was really not needed in the bedrooms--well, except for when the bride was getting ready!
The house was also in a perfect location. The town of Kaap'a is not too far--we loved several restaurants and shops there. And Hanalei is an easy 30 minute drive.
The most difficult part of the whole magical week was saying goodbye to Hale Aloha. It was a dream come true.

March 2022
This was the perfect place for our family group of 12, made up of grandma and three families, including five grandchildren ranging from 1-12 years old. The safe beach right outside the large grass back yard was just perfect for us! Everything was clean and well-stocked. Communication with the manager, Anaik, was quick and easy. Questions were answered, problems were resolved. We highly recommend Hale Aloha!

We had a tremendous week at this villa and would gladly return. The photos undersell how stunning the home is. A great spot with a lot of space and an amazing lawn and terrace where we spent hours. Fantastic for kids (we had 6 ages 3 months to 5 years). And totally seamless and supportive help from the host. Totally recommend.

This Hawaiian home is gorgeous and extremely well-maintained. It is located in a very nice neighborhood. My family and I felt completely safe the entire visit. The house is well-stocked with anything you could possibly need, even luxury body wash, shampoo, and conditioner! The owner put a lot of thought into what guests would need, especially in the area of kitchen utensils and appliances.
The beach is beautiful and calm and very private. Beautiful sunrises in the morning. It is an excellent location! Only about 15 minutes from Hanalei and the other beautiful north shore beaches and only about 15 minutes for Kapa'a where there is a nice selection of restaurants, cute shops, and a grocery store. The property manager was always quick to communicate with me about any questions or needs I had. She is extremely nice!
This is a great location for a large family/friends vacation. Plenty of room to spread out and large kitchen and dining tables for meals together. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Everything you need to fill your soul with much aloha is on this property. We hardly leave it when we’re there. Our family’s 3rd time staying here and we’re already looking forward to our next stay!

November 2021
We spent 9 days here on Hale Aloha and had the best experience and this is a group that has traveled and rented VRBO’s together in several cities and countries. We had six couples, and each couple had their own bathroom and private space. We swam, snorkeled, and relaxed the days away on the secluded beach utilizing the provided water shoes, snorkels, fins, kayaks, surfboards, and boogie boards. Also, the yard is enormous. We set up the provided Croquet set for afternoon fun and sat out on the lawn under the stars in the evening. Several significantly sized common space areas are available to gather, and there are several large tables to set up and play games in the evenings. The location is perfect. It’s a secluded, quiet street, but you are very close to Princeville and Kapaa.
Jude is by far the best host I have ever experienced. The city cut the water for repairs while I was out playing Golf. I texted Jude, and she sent her husband down to investigate in minutes and reported back the problem and the timeline to fix it. The response time was remarkable! I would highly recommend Jude and Hale Aloha to any large group. Thank you, Jude. We will be back!

November 2021
Hale Aloha was a wonderful property! We’ve stayed at a number of vacation rentals in Kauai, but none come close to Hale Aloha! The house is gorgeous, decorated beautifully, and the location right on the beach is amazing. The pictures and description capture the house perfectly. We had a group of 12 stay at the house for a wedding week and it could not have been any better. Our favorite part of the house were the views from the lanai and balcony and the beautiful back lawn, where we spent hours playing yard games and relaxing. Jude was responsive, professional and a wonderful host. We look forward to returning soon!

October 2021
There isn’t much to say other then Judes property is absolutely stunning! 10/10 for everything! The beds were so comfortable, the location was fantastic. She was available for questions 24/7. The view and beach was amazing. The amenities the house had was perfect for our large group, everyone was appreciative of the extra gear available for adventuring around the island. We had out small intimate wedding here and it was a dream come true. I wouldn’t change it for the world! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Jude!

Incredible home and views - there was plenty of space for our 10-person party. Jude was also a gracious and caring host. Her attention to detail helped make the experience flawless for us. Would definitely recommend.
Robert D.
October 2021
My family of 10 (6 adults, 3 teens, and 1 child) stayed on Kauai for over a week, at three different houses, and Jude's house in Anahola was the best one for a family to stay at. It not only handled all 10 of us, comfortably, but what added even more to its allure was the fact that we were situated right on a beautiful (and safe!) beach! Beautiful and HUGE backyard, with a gate that led right onto the sand of the beach (which was literally only feet away!), and the surf was so tame that even our 8-year-old granddaughter could safely get in, without worry. And what GREAT snorkeling, too!
The house, itself, was beautifully and comfortably appointed, and the three upstairs bedrooms all offered incredible views of the beach below! Each bedroom was also air-conditioned, which was an obvious plus. We did wish that the bedrooms had TVs, however. They are not needed during the day (with so much to do on the island), but would be nice to have at night, when winding down. There are 2 TVs in other areas of the house, but it's always nice to have your own at the end of the day, so that there is no arguing over who gets to watch what. Lol!
One other minor drawback is that there is no Cell-Phone service in that particular area of the island, and so you have to rely on the WiFi that Jude offers her guests. And, with 10 people all using their phones simultaneously, it was sometimes difficult to send or receive texts and phone calls.
We also, unfortunately, missed out on those delicious Pineapples that we read so much about, but I guess we must have come when they weren't in season. Darn! :-)
But other than the missing Pineapples and the slightly below- average technology in the house, it truly is a Dream House, and really fits in with the natural beauty of Kauai.
Beautiful, large and comfortable, and right on a very secluded beach! Who could ask for more than that?
And when you add in what a sweetheart Jude is (as others have noted), I can't think of another house on the island that I would recommend over this one! If it is available when you come, GET IT! :-)
August 2021
This was our second visit to the house and working with Jude, the Manager. As was the first, the second visit was equally superb. Beautiful house and location and Jude is as accomodating and attentive as you could hope for. Be sure to sign up for her pineapple farm tour!

August 2021
This house was everything we could've dreamed of and more. As a new family of 3, it made our first family vacation seamless and perfect when vacationing with an infant. Playtime in the yard, clean surfaces for a new crawler, calm ocean water on a private beach- what more could you ask for!? The house was more than spacious enough for our extended family of 12 and made gathering together for dinners comfortable and enjoyable. The location was ideal for those in our group who wanted to venture into town for local food, bird watching or visiting local beaches, while others stayed behind and took advantage of the quiet space of the house and private beach. Jude was a sweetheart and was available to answer all of our questions promptly and thoroughly. We were eager to meet her due to the over the top pleasant experience we had with her and she was more than happy to come to the house and greet us with one of her home grown DELICIOUS pineapples. We hope to visit the beautiful island of Kauai again soon in this idyllic home.

August 2021
We celebrated my wife’s and my retirements with our children, spouses and grand children. The house was a perfect setting and very. comfortable for all. Backyard beach access, proximity to other beaches, golf courses, the town of Kapaa and activities all were reasons for an amazing week. Mahalo to Jude and Sonia for their assistance. Aloha.
Sara T.
July 2021
The home and Jude, the property manager, far exceeded any possible expectations. The home provided all possible comforts and then some. It was the most wonderful location with green grass leading right up to the beach. The house was absolutely beautiful and our big family felt right at home with plenty of space. And Jude, she is so wonderful. When a couple of our guests arrived early, without a vehicle, she took them to get some groceries. She was always helpful and available to answer questions. We might just have to make this visit a regular family occasion!

June 2021
A gorgeous house in a gorgeous setting. Our family group of 11 people of all ages, from toddler to grandmother, loved this trip. The house is so spacious, very well maintained, great big kitchen that was better equipped than in most rental houses. Every bedroom has its own bathroom which is a key to family vacation harmony. Beautiful manicured grounds and yard, basketball net in the front, the beach and ocean right outside your back door, snorkel and beach gear, great outdoor furniture and hammocks for lounging, and so much space inside. Couldn't have been better. Jude the house manager was fantastic and communicative, and if you are lucky, she will bring you the best pineapple you've ever eaten.

September 2017
Such a beautiful home.... paradise. We spent the week here with 12 of us altogether, celebrating our parent's 50th wedding anniversary. From the moment we came on the property, there were pretty little touches... like decorative flowers set up for us in a welcoming manner. Superseded our expectations. Had everything we needed and more!
Of note, only a few of the bedrooms had AC, but the winds are so strong that we really did not miss it.
Jude was on top of everything, even when very minor issues came up. Also, Sonya, the concierge was spectacular in recommending wonderful excursions.
We will definitely be back!!

August 2017
My husband and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary in this wonderful, welcoming, home with our four children and their spouses or significant others. So there were ten of us and we were all able to enjoy a magical vacation. The indoor and outdoor spaces were generous and comfortable, and the fact that at the end of the front lawn was a little gate that opened onto our "own" beach meant we could easily head down for a quick swim or take out the kayaks at any time of the day. The home felt secluded and peaceful but at the same time it was convenient to exploring many different destinations. The house manager, Jude, was so thoughtful and very responsive to our questions and needs but also respectful of our privacy. It was a very special holiday for our family. Thank you! Hope we can come again....

August 2017
Our 4 generational family of 15, (ages 5mos. to 74 years), just returned from an amazing vacation from Hale Aloha Estate. You walk in the front door and you're awestruck at the beauty. The home was spacious enough to accommodate everyone and all families had their own private bathroom. There is a family unit attached to the home that's like a small apartment and also a separate cottage on the property. The super large kitchen family room with all the
amenities allowed for much conversation, games and laughter while cooking.
Basketball was played in the front yard, while others were enjoying kayaking and snorkeling in the bay and playing on the beach in the back. The backyard was such a wonderful place for our family to start the day, enjoy a BBQ and watch our Great-Grand Daughter (20 mos), run around safely chasing the chickens.
Jude Huber, the property manager, is so gracious and accommodating in every way possible to help meet your needs and make your dream vacation come true. She even took the time to introduce herself to our family and bring us the most delicious pineapple from her farm that we have ever had. Actually it is so wonderful, that we have had some shipped home to Colorado to share with our friends.
We really can't say enough about this Estate, we only hope to return soon to our family's own private resort!
KIMBERLY S.
May 2017
The home is even better than it looks if that is possible, everyone had an amazing time. Impeccably clean, designed beautifully and spacious. Very comfortable for large groups, with everything you need.
If I had to fault it for anything it would be that there is a public beach access directly next door, and the beach is pretty small.
April 2017
Our group of 8 adults enjoyed a fabulous 10 days at Hale Aloha. The house could easily have absorbed a couple more adults, even without expanding into the guest house. The house has multiple communal gathering spots, but also offers privacy, especially for the folks in the air conditioned wing. We appreciated the privacy and convenience of bathrooms in every bedroom that we used.
The location is perfect. We could've spent our entire time sitting on the spacious back porch, or the second-story balcony, watching the surf and soaking it in. Though the beach is technically public, we rarely saw more than a couple people on the beach or in the water, if any at all. It's not an ideal swimming or wave-surfing spot, as the water is shallow and reefy. (It's fine for a quick dip.) But the waves breaking over the reef are mesmerizing, and there are plenty of good swimming spots nearby.
The kitchen is huge (though more than two cooks in the prime meal-prep space got crowded), and has many of the basic spices and oils you'll need, as well as a range of helpful appliances. (We appreciated the blender and the rice cooker.) Jude (property manager) is friendly and responsive, and if you're lucky, you may score a to-die-for pineapple from her farm.
The house is well stocked with toys-- from boogie boards to a basketball and hoop to a croquet set (which is great on the putting-green-like back lawn).
And lots to do on Kauai! We managed to pry ourselves away to hike to the Hanakapiai Falls (a spur off the Napali Coast hike), where we swam at the base of the falls; trek to a waterfall in Waimea Canyon (don't miss); boogie board on Kealia Beach (don't go far south on that beach-- rip tides are real); ride bikes on the path north of Kapa'a; hike (amble?) to the Ho'opi'i waterfalls where we played on the rope swing at the base of the second falls; tour the island by helicopeter; and enjoy a boat trip up the Napali Coast. (We also enjoyed massages on the balcony, arranged by the concierge.)
Enjoy!
March 2017
Beautiful property and very well-equipped and family friendly. We had a wonderful time here and would return in a heartbeat!

January 2017
Judith pays attention to detail. The house was pristine, perfect, and felt so comfortable! There is so much space here, and it's all so comfortable and beautifully decorated w/Hawaiian memorabilia and decor. The yard and the views were amazing, watching the sunrise in bed each day w/our 5 month old grandson was a memory I'll never forget! The yard is huge w/many amenities, with the ocean just another step away to practically a private beach of calm clear waters! This was a dream house to be able to enjoy w/my whole family. We hope one day to go back! Hopefully w/more grandchildren!

December 2016
We were looking for a house that would be close to the beach and give my extended family room to spend a week together without getting on each other's nerves. This house was PERFECT. There was plenty of space, 7 bedrooms (including the garage suite) for the 11 of us to spread out out. The house is casually but elegantly decorated in surfing/Hawaiian themes and immaculately clean. Although you can get some idea of this from the photos, the house is even more impressive in person.
The kitchen was a wonderful spot for us to gather in the evenings while we cooked dinner for 11 people. There is plenty of space for people to lounge while others are actively working.
Behind the house is a lawn that is elegantly surrounded by coconut palms. Families of chickens regularly wandered through. There are all sorts of lawn games--croquet, smash ball available. The gate opens onto a beach with some rocks but easy entry for swimming/snorkeling. There is a reef with all sorts of fish, coral and sea turtles literally right out the back gate. It gave everyone plenty to do even when just hanging out at the house.
The house is in a rather rural part of the island (with gorgeous scenery) and there is not a lot near by if you are looking for restaurants, etc. There is a general store about a mile away. It is 10-15 minutes to Kapaa town and a little further to points on the North Shore.
I can't recommend this property highly enough. I don't know when we'll be able to return, but I certainly hope to one day.

July 2016
I set up this reservation two years ago. Wanted a home large enough for two families plus myself to spread out, relax, have our own space yet all together under one roof. The beach and it's safety also important as with five grandchildren ages 9 through 15 safety important. Having been to Kauai twice before I knew what areas to stay away from and what areas to look for that perfect house. FOUND IT! The home and grounds more beautiful then I imagined it would be. The beach.......well, it was Hawaii in every sense of the word not to mention great snorkeling just steps away! Absolutely no need for a swimming pool when having beach front that provided all the swimming anyone would want. The boards and snorkeling equipment well used. So many amenities around to keep the kids and adults busy/happy.
The historical town of Kappa close by to visit. Shaved ice became a favorite. Property location made it easy to get to all those little hideaway beaches north of Kappa. Heads up....if you drive north leave early as the parking can be challenging at the most sought after beaches. On those days of exploration don't sleep in!
The other side of this is how wonderful property manager Jude was to us. We enjoyed her little visits not to mention the pineapples fresh off her pineapple farm. She is proud of this property and rightly so. Thank you Jude for all!
In closing I say "Ditto" to all other recent reviews of this place. Don't be afraid of renting this home. Go for it. You won't be disappointed in any way. A great home for my family of 10. My only disappointment.....having to leave. That being said....... the good memories will live on forever. PERFECT!

June 2016
We arrived at Hale Aloha and I can honestly say that the house was in pristine condition. It is clean, beautiful and very well- maintained. There was no need to use filters when they took the pics because it it truly that beautiful! My husband and I brought our adult children and their spouses and there was more than enough space for our group. The ocean breezes were wonderful and the sound of the waves were like music to our ears. We utilized the very large and well-stocked kitchen to cook meals when we were there and ate on the back porch most of the time. Jude was available when we needed her and brought us the most delicious pineapples we have ever tasted. The house is stocked with everything needed for the beach and we enjoyed playing croquet and being lazy in the hammock. Our kids enjoyed Tunnels beach so much, they went 3 times- to scuba dive in the tunnels and to snorkel the reefs. We made the drive to Waimea Canyon and it was definitely worth seeing, did the river kayak adventure, golfed at the municipal course down the highway, and did a dinner cruise to see the Napali Coast (make sure you take a big dose of Bonine)! The trip was amazing and having such a beautiful house to stay in really made it a great experience. We highly recommend Hale Aloha!

This home is amazing! It was very hard to say good bye to the hammock with a view of the ocean and listening to the waves crash all night from my bedroom window. My sister and I are very picky when it comes to were we stay and she said that this is THE best designed and decorated house she has ever been in. Jude, the property manager, brought us some welcome gifts of fresh pineapple and exotic fruits - she was all about aloha. The sunrise from my bedroom window is a MUST to be experienced. I'm almost hesitant in writing this review because I don't want it to be booked up the next time I want to come to Kauai. The house is on the sand with a private entrance direct from the lawn - step off the back lawn and onto the sand - it's that close! There is snorkeling directly in your back yard and in a quiet neighborhood. The beach is very secluded which would be great for a romantic trip (walking on what seems like a private beach) or a family trip - chances are very high that you will have the beach to yourself! The owner's have an appreciation for surfing history as it shows throughout the house's decor. The amenities were fantastic (beach towels, designer bath soaps, beach chairs, boogie boards, kayaks, etc.) and we would love to come again! Thank you for making our Kauai vacation a trip of a lifetime! MAHALO!

This was one of the best vacation spots I have ever been too. The location is ideal and perfect. The house itself has so much charm and personality, I don't think I will ever want to stay in a hotel in Kauai again. I went with a group of 11 and we had plenty of space. Could have even fit more! Grounds where nice and Jude (the house manager) was super attentive and helpful! Spent most the time in the beautiful kitchen and out back on the patio relaxing, chatting and listening to the waves. The entire group loved the place so much we all are positive we will return here when we come back to Kauai. Don't even hesitate, you WANT to stay at this house!

We recently stayed at Hale Aloha and held our destination wedding in the backyard. When we arrived, we were speechless! The pictures online did not do it justice. Not only was the view absolutely stunning but every detail in the house was perfect for a classic Hawaiian home. All of our guests fell in love with the home and could not have loved it more.
If you are looking for an amazing Kauai vacation rental, look no further. The private beach the house looks out onto was perfect for snorkeling and kayaking and is located just minutes from great little towns. The house also includes kayaks and great lounging furniture. We are already planning a trip back!
If you are looking for a destination wedding site, Hale Aloha is your spot. We could not have asked for a better location. It added so much Hawaiian charm and character to our ceremony and reception. We did not want to leave!! The only hindrance was the tiny road it's located on so plan on a shuttle of some kind but other than that, absolutely wonderful home.

This house was hands down the very best part of of the very best vacation of my life! We had 11 people staying there, 3 couples, 3 children, and 2 singles, and everyone loved it, and had a wonderful time! The beach is AMAZING. The Kitchen is AMAZING! The sunrises were AMAZING! There was enough space in the house that everyone had plenty of space. The kids loved the house. Kauai is a incredible island. The Na'Pali coast tour is a definite must see. Same with Waimea canyon. The best shave ice on the island is 3 minutes away (by car) at the defries wagaon (debest shave ice). Hanalei was an charming town, easily the groups favorite beach as well. The farmers market by the Kong Lung center by the lighthouse on Thursday was amazing. Still, with all the amazing, beautiful locations located on this tropical paradise, this house was one of my favorite memories from our amazing vacation. I can not rate this house high enough. Please, do yourself a favor and stay here.

I feel so fortunate to have had the privilege to stay in this wonderful home with our kids and grandbabies. We could not have imagined a better place for a family vacation. The home had everything we could possibly have wanted: the kitchen complete with icemaker, wine cooler, bar fridge as well as full fridge, gas stove, indoor bbq grill (didn't use it but it was nice to know we could have) plus outdoor bbq kayaks, boogie boards, kids' toys... The house is a tribute to the island, tastefully furnished and decorated. Great location, only 1/2 hour from the airport and central enough to make everywhere we wanted to go attainable in a day trip. The managers recommended Chef Juels to us who came in and cooked a couple of amazing meals and charmed us with her presence. We loved being only a couple of miles from a great fruit stand/espresso/sandwich place that made the best fresh fruit smoothies ever. Enjoyed the Bakery, Natural Foods, Fish Market...in Kilawea and fell in love with Kauai itself. Having such a great home to stay in was definitely a big factor in our vacation. Lots of room for us to hang out together but also plenty of privacy. The sights and sounds from the linai and the deck were incredible. We saw whales, snorkeled right in front of the house, kayaked, were fortunate to have amazing weather as well as a full moon and clear skies. I would recommend this property to anyone with a group. I was impressed by the photos on the listing but they cannot fully capture the character of the home and wonder of the setting. Although we were all continuing our vacations in various parts of Hawaii we all felt sad to leave. We'll be back!
