We spent a week in Kona with family, we rented several condos in Sea Village and it worked out very well for us. Our condo had all of the items we needed for the week plus some! Many left behind beach chairs, hats, boards were so useful while we were here. I loved the lanai overlooking the ocean. Great place!!

We had a lovely visit to the Big Island. It was wonderful to enjoy our morning coffee on the lanai where we watched whales, boaters, the surf, and a couple of goats. We also took advantaged of the gorgeous sunsets in the evening. The living room and dining room accommodated the 4 of us. The galley kitchen was tight, but we didn't spend a lot of time cooking. The pool was the perfect temperature in the evening. We would definitely stay here again.

This property is as stated. kitchen is well appointed. Right on the ocean. Right next to the pool and hot tub. Hot tub jets not functioning most of the time. Very clean. Walls are paper thin but expected, so windows open for waves difficult to hear over other people noise. close windows, use fans and ear plugs work fine. Found ants in an open box of sugar that somebody apparently didn't realize and left open. But that is typical for the entire island. You are on an island so don't leave open food out on counters or in cupboards! We took garbage out everyday as instructed! Overall an excellent experience here. Highly recommend it

The condo was easy to get to and in a great location for getting to different parts of the island. Beds were comfortable and the owner kept the condo stocked with lots of appreciated extras like beach chairs, coolers, ice packs for the coolers, box fans (great for white noise to sleep and during the hottest part of the day), and even some bamboo beach mats and beach towels! In unit laundry was helpful to have, too. The kitchen was well stocked for a rental and had most of the things we needed for cooking--which was great to not feel wasteful buying a ton of stuff. The balcony was fabulous--you can't get any closer to the ocean! There was a slight bump in the stay as just before our arrival, the upstairs unit (not this unit) had a leak which required their plumber entry to ours and had resulted in some damage/debris while he worked to fix it. Our unit owner and the upstairs owner were on top of communication and were kind, professional, and accommodating about the whole process. Management handled the plumber getting in and out so any impact was minimized as we did not need to alter our daily plans to let them in/out. As a condo owner myself, I understand the headache and I couldn't ask for anyone to have handled it better. the condo was very clean all around, though the bedroom carpets were on the older side, however, in speaking with the owner it looks like it will be getting upgraded shortly. Would definitely stay again!

For us, it is all about the location. Being able to look out on the ocean every day and watch the sunset from the lanai is a privilege. We have stayed in the same complex 3 times now, and so the area feels like home. The unit had everything that we needed for a fabulous stay. The management was very responsive - a couple of minor issues were resolved immediately.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay in this condo. The view out the front/ off the lanai is fantastic. We would sit out on it every morning and have coffee & breakfast and watch the activity on the water (including spinner dolphins a few mornings!). We were there in the summer (late Aug), and although the condo doesn't have air conditioning, it wasn't a problem. First, it wasn't horribly hot (85 during the day) and not very humid. Once the house was opened up (windows open), there was a strong, constant breeze through the house from the trade winds. There are also a couple fans in each bedroom to use. The kitchen was well stocked, and we found beach chairs, beach towels, snorkel gear, cooler, boogie boards, etc. to use while we were there. The kids spent a few hours each afternoon playing in the pool. The house is comfortable, with all the amenities you'll need, and decorated in Hawaiian décor. The condo is well situated within Kona, just under a mile walk to the downtown area. It's a 5-10 min drive from Safeway and Target. There is a terrific coffee shop on site -The Green Flash. The location allowed us to explore beaches up and down the coast (Maini'owali and Hapuna were 2 gems). Two Step and Kahalu'u were both great snorkel spots, and at least during the summer, calm enough for the kids. The host recommended a stop at the Hilton lagoons, which the kids loved. Overall, a fantastic vacation, a great condo, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Our owner communicated with us in advance so we arrived prepared to easily get in and get settled. He provided suggestions for food and activities in the area. We felt personally welcomed even though we did not get to meet him. We have bragged to all our friends about the unit and the owner! Overall rating: Wow!

We have stayed at Sea Village a number of times, this is the best unit as far as view, proximity to pool, courtyard. The kitchen was well equipped for all of your cooking needs. There were beach chairs, towels, bogie boards, beach umbrellas. I will be back.

We really enjoyed this unit. As described in the listing, it could not be closer to the water without getting wet. The shoreline is volcanic rock w/o access (not sandy beach) but we love it. It is located about a mile south of historical downtown Kona, therefore very walkable into town. Also very accessible to some of the main roads that keep you out of the historical downtown if you are heading to other parts of the island. The kitchen has been nicely redone and modestly supplied with cooking pots/pans, etc. The check in process was easy. Information was provided by the unit manager via email and entry is a door lock code. There was plenty of parking close to the unit. Beach chairs and beach towels were appreciated for those days at the beach. Also, there are 2 small insulated coolers for drinks/snacks. We plan on booking again next yr. if possible.

We were so impressed with this property. From having morning coffee on the Lanai watching the dolphins go by or relaxing at the on site pool in the evening; we couldn't have picked a better place. We were located within walking distance to the Strip and the Trolley stop. The condo offered all of the amenities we needed. On our last day, our flights were cancelled and the Property Manager was kind enough to let us stay a few more hours while we got our transportation handled. His kindness will be remembered. We will definitely book here again and recommend this location.

My fiancé, parents, and I stayed here for about 9 days while visiting Big Island. The property was lovely, clean, and well kept. We loved our stay at this unit as we had a gorgeous ocean view and spent so much time on the lanai. We spent mornings, most meals, and evenings sitting out there and enjoying the breeze and the sound of the waves. We also spotted lots a marine life out there. The unit was clean, comfortable, and well decorated. We also found useful the beach chairs and umbrella in the closet! The owners allowed us to have a late check out which was priceless as our flight was at 10 pm, so it allowed us to still really relax and enjoy our last day and be able to shower before getting on the plane! So much thank you for that! (My only complaint is the hot tub was open late for half our stay then the other half they started closing it at 9pm which was really a bummer as we would adventure and ocean play all day and want to relax in the hot tub when we got back but that was no longer an option. But that is not this units fault just a note to the property.) Thank you again for sharing your place with us!

3114 has the ocean, right out your lanai door. Spinner Dolphins, Humpback whales and paddlers every day. The Pool and Hot Tub are steps away, and cooking on the grills every evening are a joy. Sea Village is a very friendly spot to stay. Aloha

Condo was quite comfortable! Easy walk to “downtown”, or a quick drive. First floor condo with a great view of the ocean. Ample easy parking. Open floor plan with the updated kitchen makes for a nice family setting. Comfortable beds, with TVs in each room. Beach chairs and towels provided. Note no AC but plenty of windows to open along with ceiling fans to help cool the condo. The new WiFi/internet was super fast. Quite enjoyable; no regrets!

First of all, the lanai makes it all worth it. We wanted to eat dinner at home because the view was just better than any "ocean-front restaurant" and we knew we would always have the best seats! Waking up to that view every day was just the relaxaation we needed. The location was central - and just a 5 minute drive from Magic Sands Beach - and a 20 minute drive to other wonderful beaches like Kua Bay. There was comfortable parking, the kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking tools and utensils you'll need, as well as spices! So helpful. We brought our 18 month toddler and felt that he was safe there - running around. There's coffee and lots of restaurants within a few minutes of walking. It did get very warm at night and we had all the fans on - but we wrote to the manager and he gave us helpful tips that improved everything. This place has everything we needed for a wonderful vacation and when we return to Kona, we hope this apartment will be available.

Note: Vacancy calendar is approximate. Visit the owner/manager's reservation site to verify your dates.
