We loved this condo. The huge lanai and ocean views are spectacular. We appreciated the AC in the living room and bedrooms, the in-unit washer and dryer, and the dishwasher. The unit is very near the pool and it's easy to walk downhill through the complex to restaurants and shops. A big bonus was being able to rent our host Jeff's Subaru Crosstrek through the Turo app. So much easier and more cost-effective than going through an agency, and we were able to take the car on the road to Hana which agencies frown upon. Thank you Jeff for a great stay!

The views are breathtaking and they had everything available to have a great day at the beach (chairs, towels, umbrella, cooler, etc!) The property is beautiful and there is a mall and several restaurants in walking distance! 10/10 and hope to come back!!

We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this unit to anybody planning a trip to Maui. It is close to many nearby beaches, restaurants in Wailea and also the pool access is truly convenient for a relaxing vacation. We were also able to rent the host’s vehicle for the duration of our trip and got to have some unforgettable road trips across the island. Mahalo!

Fully equipped flat in a quiet neighbourhood. Great sea view from the terrace. Car park directly in front of the house. Only a few minutes by car to great beaches and delicious restaurants and shopping in the area. Communication directly with the owner who can also provide a car. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book the flat again.

I've stayed in this complex before; it's my favorite location to stay on Maui and I've been to Maui 10+ times over the last 8 years. This location is fantastic to access the amazing Wailea area and this complex is within walking distance to all of the resorts, many beaches, shopping, restaurants, decent coffee, and a food store. This unit has an incredible view, a very responsive host and a lanai that can't be beat. The kitchen is well appointed.

there was a problem with mold in one of the bathrooms,but Jeff took care of it in a satisfactory manner. that's why I gave a 4 for cleanliness.

Our third time at this complex and second at this unit. Sunset views and close proximity to the pool and grill make this the perfect place to stay. Great location to spend the day at the beach, then wind down the end of the day with the heated pool!

Highlight of the stay was definitely the location of the property - walking distance to Wailea shops and resorts. The property itself has it all - A/C, clean bathroom, and spacious bedroom. The lanai was the highlight of the property - waking up early for sunrise was truly special. We had some small hiccups finding the property late at night - would recommend double checking the google maps address, especially late at night when its hard to locate the property. Otherwise had a great stay and would highly recommend!

Jeff’s condo was exactly as advertised, which is not always the case with some rentals. We had a lovely time and enjoyed the personal touches in the unit - artwork, extra amenities, books and magazines, etc. Wailea is a beautiful part of Maui. Amazing beaches, restaurants, shops - no shortage of things to do. We would highly recommend booking this unit!

A pleasant stay with extra amenities not expected. Great location to explore the island. Great walking path that lends down to the beach and walking path in front of the larger hotels. Great view and nice ocean breeze on those warm maui days. Spacious with a beautiful lanai area. Would definitely recommend this location and would book again.

Accessing code for door and lock box involved opening the Vrbo app on my phone. It would have been easier if this information had been emailed to us, as our other Vrbo reservations have in the past.
The unit is well kept. Views gorgeous and property very quiet. A couple kids in the pool below was about the only noise we had. Maybe 150 degree views of west Maui mountains, lanai and ocean. Great sunset viewing.
Ample towels in unit. Owner very generous with supplies such as shampoo, soap and conditioner. The only outlet in larger bathroom were nearly impossible to get a hair dryer plugged into. Only one hair dryer for two bathrooms so be prepared to share! Very high step over tub to get into larger shower, smaller bathroom has easy walk in shower.
Kitchen had basic supplies but was missing some helpful tools such as a scraper spatula or lift spatula. Many appliances such as blender , coffee grinder and rice cooker, but had to root around in cupboard to find. Again owner very generous with basic oils, spices and condiments in unit. Great views of ocean from kitchen which made cooking a meal there very enjoyable

The pool is very nice and very close. Swam laps one day in there. We were really surprised that there are no hot tubs in property. Somehow we missed this in the listing.

Our stay in Wailea could not have been more perfect and it was large in part to the accommodations we choose. We were looking for a peaceful escape to celebrate our anniversary and we got it! My family were here for 6 nights and we couldn’t have picked a better place. The parking was convenient and the location was quiet, serene and close to beaches. The unit was roomy, kitchen was well equipped and it was a plus having two full baths, AC and a W/D. It was the perfect stay. The place had a great location but I wasn't able to stay there due to the pest issues. Just check with the owner that it has been sprayed for pests recently... It was also an older property and the A/C didn't work very effectively.

Ideally located in Wailea, with a great ocean view, we also appreciated this condo for all the thoughtful little extras that added to our experience. So many great attributes to our stay here. Our only suggestion for improvement would be to improve the comfort of the sofa bed. That said, we would stay again for all the other great features. The owner made the whole process super easy.

Jeff’s place was spectacular. The views of the ocean from his place are second to none. Watch sunsets from the lanai. Great ceiling fans throughout to keep you cool and A/C is powerful if needed. Bed is super comfortable and kitchen well stocked with tools, silverware, plates, etc.
Easily walk to shops at Wailea, minutes to Kihei, Big Beach.

Ekolu rarely disappoints and this unit is no exception. All was as featured and in fact even nicer in person. The ocean view,as always, mesmerizing. I have rented many Ekolu units over the years and this is one of the best. There was a high level of detail paid to the level of finish in this unit, faucets, tile, fans, light switches, dimmers etc.. It is cheerful and inviting. All is provided for a long day at the beach. All you have to do is show up! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon.

AMAZING view, great location, condo was nice and clean. Main bathroom could use updating...the sink wouldn't drain, old finishes, etc. We had two adults and two children (ages 12 & 8) and it would have been nice if they had their own room. The kids had to sleep on the couch (which we new going in) but there was no place to put their things so stuff was scattered throughout. Not a big issue, but something to consider if you were thinking about putting older kids or adults on the pullout bed. Also, parking seemed a bit congested and there were a couple of times we didn't have a spot in front of our building. Overall, it was great and we would stay here again, especially if it was just the two of us.

Nothing too fancy, nothing too rough about this place. Nicely maintained considering its age. Had problems with the internet, which the owner had resolved. And we had some mice visit us. It's not a luxury getaway by any means, but it will get the job done if you need an adequate place to stay.

This is our third time to stay at Ekolu Village. We love the location for its proximity to shopping, restaurants and beaches. And many of the units have wonderful views of the water and other islands. This particular unit had some updating done, but not a lot - only a new master bath and washer/dryer. The beach equipment was a plus though. We used the boogie boards and umbrella almost every day of our stay. And there was a fabulous view from the lanai. The kitchen was well stocked for all our cooking and dining needs. However...
The AC unit in the living room did not do a good job of cooling the living space. We had many days in the 90's and only if we sat in the corner near the AC unit did we feel any cooling effect. Also, we thought the property could have been cleaner. While we expect there to be dust on the lanai furniture, I had to do a thorough cleaning of the chairs and tables before using. The inside also could have been cleaner. The ice maker in the freezer did not work. I made a call to Maui Rentals and they sent someone to look at it, but it never got fixed.
We will come back to Ekolu Village but would most likely stay in a different unit.

My husband and I just took our first trip to Maui and decided on a condo vs hotel for our 8 day trip. This condo did not disappoint. First, the view from the balcony/deck was amazing!! Gorgeous sunsets every night overlooking Lanai and the ocean. Perfect to unwind with glasses of wine after a fun day on the island. The location is great. You can easily walk to shopping and several great restaurants -- and easily walk to the beach (where you can snorkel with sea turtles!). It was also a great home base to explore the whole island -- which we definitely did. Condo community does have a pool but we prefer the beach so didn't try it out. Owners are very friendly and responsive. House is equipped with all you need for the beach too -- chairs, umbrella, snorkels, towels, etc -- and is very nicely decorated. Very comfy bed too -- a huge plus! We will definitely be back!!
