We had a great stay for over a month at this location. Very neat, orderly, and clean unit. The views were outstanding. The building, especially the pool and exercise room, were excellent as well. Our host was extremely responsive. Location is great, very close to shopping, restaurants, a few blocks from the beach. The view of Diamond Head and the ocean was gorgeous.

Our stay here was fantastic. The pictures of the view do not do the actual view justice ... the canal, beach, Diamond Head, sunrises, night time lights. Just amazing. The cool breezes from the upper floor made it so comfortable that we almost never used the ac (for the whole month of August). The gym, pool, hot tub and sauna were great to have just an elevator ride away. The nearby bus stops took us everywhere we wanted to go. Supermarkets are nearby (take the apartment phone number so that you are eligible for Safeway discounts). We are looking forward to returning. Thank you!

Everything you need for an extended stay in kitchen and throughout condo. Large countertop toaster oven, stovetop burners and microwave, to cook a feast and enjoy the balcony view after dark. Extra pillows, blankets and towels, plus high speed Wi-Fi (100+ Mbps) if you need to work while in paradise. Strong breezes on 41st floor, plus good AC and a large fan. Excellent condo!

What a great view. Wonderful to wake up see Diamond head and the ocean. This place is well equipped with everything you need. Owner/ manager met me on arrival, showed me everything, incredible hospitality.
It is an older property, which is fine. The beveled windows are a bit loud. The one issue is that the pool was closed for 14 of the 30 days that I was there and I only found out when I arrived. The property had no other arrangements which was frustrating, especially as there's a rooftop pool right next door.

This condo is the best place I have ever rented in my time coming to Hawaii. It was clean, spacious, and had everything you could possibly need for a long term stay. The location and views cannot be beat. Communication with the owner was seamless. I had zero issues with the building or the amenities provided. Wonderful pool with hot tub, great deck with grills, and amazing views.

Kama delivers true Hawaiian aloha! Building centrally located within Waikiki, everywhere is walkable. Health club is ok in case it’s a rainy day and you still would like to get in a workout. Can’t beat the views from this unit anywhere!,

Our stay at Island Colony was perfect! What made it better was Kama. His knowledge of the island and his hospitality was far and above what we ever would have expected. The pictures of the view from the Lanai on vrbo do not do it justice. Just a spectacular/gorgeous view. Thank you Kama for making our stay priceless.

The condo was exactly as expected after reading the description and viewing the pictures online and is a great value for the price paid. The free parking pass was a wonderful perk. Another bonus is the very large lanai with the couch. The views from the 41st floor are amazing. Bernie, the apartment manager was very nice to work with and even gave us early check-in as well as late check-out. We contacted him regarding internet issues via text and he followed up with a phone call shortly after to make sure all was well. He also left cold water for us in the fridge as well as candy and coffee. Thanks so much Bernie!
There is even a supply of beach equipment in the apartment for your use. We really appreciated having 2 beach chairs and I am sorry we only had time to enjoy them once.
Only slight negative is that the air conditioner is a window unit that doesn't work as well as we would have liked, but it definitely still helps and the unit also offers a fan. I understand that it was unusually warm during our stay and perhaps the AC just couldn't quite keep up.
If I am ever lucky enough to return to the Waikki area, I would definitely stay again.

The condo complex is very nice, it has a swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, gym, barbecue grills, laundry room and convenience store on site. You can walk to the beach, stores and restaurants very easily as it is right in the heart of Waikiki. This unit is truly a bargain compared to other properties listed and the property owner is very responsive, it is well worth the price and I highly recommend it!

This was my second time staying in this condo. The first time I was only there for three days and it wasn't nearly enough! So this time I spent my entire trip here and it was fantastic. I was afforded a repeat customer rate and I have to tell you this is an absolute steal for what must be one of the best views in all of Waikiki. I have nothing but positive things to say, not only about the property, but about Kama himself. So pleasant and accommodating. Do yourself a favor and stop looking.... this is the place you want to stay!

My husband and I stayed here for the Oahu portion of our honeymoon. Upon arrival, Bernie was there to great us and he is such a doll! He was so sweet, and even had waters and chocolates waiting for us in the condo. The condo is exceptionally clean and the view is breathtaking. I got some amazing pictures of Diamond Head and the city at night and during the sunset. The building has a minimart that came in handy for cereal, milk, and even beer!
The location is close enough to the beach where it's only a quick walk away, yet far enough from the main drag so you're located on a quiet street. We even walked all the way to Diamond Head from the condo and hiked all the way up to the top! I definitely recommend taking a car or a bus if you have a small child, but for the two of us the walk wasn't too bad.
*As a side note, I'd also recommend Go 808 Express and Johnny cab for transportation to the airport!
Overall, we would definitely return if we ever find ourselves in Oahu again. Thanks Kama and Bernie!

My husband, son & I stayed for 2 week at Kama's condo. Had wonderful time & loved the studio which is convenient to everything in Waikiki! Excellent communication, before/during our trip with either Kama or his associate Bernie. Condo exceptionally clean, nicely decorated & a pleasure to come home to. Great views -better than pictures on website. Only short 2 blocks to beautiful beach. Building amenities were as described & all very clean/updated. Everything you could think of is supplied including a little rolling basket to bring things to the beach or go to nearby grocery store. Easy to make meals in kitchen or use BBQ. Really great having private parking space in building included in rental rate considering how difficult it is to park in Waikiki. Cannot recommend this property highly enough--would love to come back again. Everhing went so smoothly w/ no surprises. Mahalo to Kama & Bernie for your kindnesses & hospitality! Gerri, Howie, and Daniel PS loved the food at Marukame Udon, short walk from condo.

We spent the last four days of our vacation in this condo and we were completely blown away by it...the place is nicely decorated and very clean with everything we could need, close to everything including Waikiki Beach, and to top it off, had free WiFi and free parking. Had the best burger ever at Mahaloha Burger while exploring the shops. Kamakani's partner Bernie met us with the keys and the added touches (like chocolates and fresh leis) made our day. This place is fabulous and we will not hesitate to recommend it to friends and also to return ourselves. Mahalo, Kama and Bernie for a wonderful Oahu experience.

This unit is very clean, centrally located, has a good view, and is very well equipped( parking, fast internet, towels(beach and bathroom), microwave, a/c (window unit), laundry, coffee maker)
Bernie (Kamakani's friend) met us and was fantastic. He was incredibly welcoming and made sure we were all set up before taking off.
Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay in this unit. It was clean, confortable and a fabulous location. The balcony was super big and the view was amazing! We enjoyed having breakfast out there every morning and a glass of wine at night. It is a short walk down to the beach, groceries and anything else you might need. It is not a big space, but it is planned out well and perfect for a couple. The owner, Kamakani, was wonderful and easy to work with. He was very accomodating and always responded quickly to my emails. I have already reccommended this place to a friend.

The views from this unit were amazing, the skyline of Honolulu, the Ala Wai Golf Course and Diamond Head. The unit also comes with a full range kitchen (microwave, stove, toaster oven, freezer/fridge, coffee maker), a/c, and the property also has a pool/hot tub/spa, and washer/dryers. Great location, just a short walk to the beach. Beach mats, umbrella, and body board were also stored on the lanai so need to go out and buy. Overall a wonderful experience. We will definately be back and look forward to staying at Island Colony.

This was our second time to Hawaii and we needed something better then a hotel. Well, this place has it all. The free parking is awesome. We never had troubles finding a place to park. Free Wi-Fi!! It was nice not to have to use our International data plans for the whole trip. I was so impressed with the whole place. This place is close to the beach and all the tourist shopping you could want. I would suggest if you have a rental car to go to Safeway (5 minute drive). Groceries in Waikiki are crazy expensive!! Kamakani was very helpful when I was trying to get flights and mailed us a key because our flight was going to come in late. I would come back to this place in a heartbeat. So nice to relax on our vacation here!!

Located on the 41st floor with amazing views of Waikiki and Diamond Head, this renovated unit is clean, well maintained and has everything you need from a boogie board to beach chairs and fresh towels! Location was perfect as it is only 2 blocks away from the center of Waikiki with all the restaurants, shops, bars and beaches! The huge lanai, free wi-fi and parking, convenient store as well as pool and spa on the 6th floor makes this unit the perfect place to stay in Oahu. Surfing and food in Waikiki was amazing (Marukame Udon is a must!) and we loved the Aloha festival with local music and food. Mahalo Kama, we will definitely stay again and recommend your unit to all our friends :-) !!!
