Our family of four had a wonderful stay at this property. The condo was clean, comfortable and had the perfect location for exploring the local area, both on foot and by car. We loved the view from the balcony where we enjoyed our morning coffee. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the necessities. The bathrooms had plenty of towels, and more were available from the property upon request. All of the beds were quite comfortable and each bedroom had plenty of drawers and shelves for unpacking our belongings. Our only challenge was the rooster wake up calls, occuring at many hours throughout the night. If you are a light sleeper, I would suggest packing ear plugs. Other than that, the property was perfect for our vacation and we would definitely come back!

What a wonderful way for us to celebrate our 50th anniversary with our family! Albert was so easy to work with and responded to communication immediately. We had beautiful views of the ocean, several rainbows everyday plus giving us a way to enjoy the atmosphere of Princeville and what it has to offer. The condo was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a memorable stay. We all had our own bedrooms where we could find a bit of private time when needed. We loved our stay in this 4bdrm/4 bath condo at the Cliffs. The host was always available for questions, the resort staff were wonderful for helping with small issues, the condo itself is a great home base with a layout thats perfect for several families.
This unit has the best view, just a glorious way to start and end the day with the sun and all the birds. We really liked the use of the resort amenities, including a lei making class that was enjoyed by all. We were very happy to have the accommodation of a designated ADA parking space, as the resort is not assigned parking. This unit is very quiet, in fact, we never heard any surrounding condo noise during sleeping hours and we all slept very well. These condos are built well! The beds are all comfortable, the temps were great for May and sleeping with all the windows open was nice for keeping things cool. Bring earplugs for those roosters.
We explored the north shore for a week and spend most of our mealtimes at the condo. It's a well stocked kitchen and certainly made for many a memorable meal.
The surrounding neighborhood is great for walks, especially the golf course views. Husband and I also took the resort bikes out for an afternoon and hiked down to the beach.
We were very happy to have this condo as part of our first time to Kauai. I fell in love with nearby Hanalei Bay, hired a professional photographer for family pics there, rented ATVs down at Kipu Ranch, and so much more!

The location is unbelievably beautiful with stunning views of the ocean. It was a short drive to Hanalei Bay where we enjoyed great food and of course shave ice! Our family, my husband and I with our three adult children and their partners, stayed at this fabulous unit in Princeville. Very accurate description of the unit, such a well stocked kitchen and beach gear. Everything you need for an island vacation in Kauai! The espresso machine got a good workout every morning, either before or after the morning walks, runs or sleep-ins! Great amenities, beautiful views with sightings of dolphins, whales and rainbows every day! Would highly recommend this rental -

The kitchen and dining area is small, and w/8 adults it was somewhat cozy. But it’s Kauai; in our 8 days there we were rarely hanging out at the unit. Overall, we were pleased!

This was a great property with a great view. Condo was clean and roomy. The Cliffs has great amenities, the kids really enjoyed the pool. There is a closet full of beach stuff, we used the chairs every day. Only thing missing was an umbrella. No a/c but with patio doors open and ceiling fans was very comfortable. The location and the rooms were perfect my family. We have 3 teenage girls and they had the downstairs quarters to themselves, and my wife and I had the upstairs master. We thought it was going to be too hot upstairs but the ocean breeze was always moving through the front and back of the house. We were never hot. I can't say enough about how wonderful it was! We had plenty of space for me/husband, kids (8 & 12) and my parents. Everyone slept very comfortably. The view from the condo is incredible! We loved the pool. The condo has tons of beach and pool toys, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc which we made use of. Everyone at the reception was super friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, everything we wanted to do was an easy drive. Albert was INCREDIBLE...I emailed him numerous times with questions about things to do, logistics, etc and he was so kind and helpful and provided so much information. We had an amazing time in this lovely condo. It had the perfect amount of space for all 3 couples. We ate every meal on the deck and enjoyed the morning views of whales and the various birds. Only downside is most of the activities are in the south side 45 mins to a hour drive. But if you just plan on hitting the beaches and relaxing this place is definitely it. Enjoy!

It was our first trip to Kauai, and Princeville may be on the other side of the island after arriving in Lihue, but well worth the drive (which is slow yet scenic). Although The Cliffs may be only one of various resorts to select from, the property is well-positioned on the island. Albert and Anita's condo, specifically, in building 8 short-facing the ocean is no doubt one of the best! Their home is clean, well-decorated and inviting. In addition to a fully stocked kitchen, Albert and Anita also provide umbrellas and beach supplies so you don't need to bring or purchase your own. The Cliffs resort also includes a pool, gym, and sporting amenities if (which only our adult children partook) if you're not interested in only relaxing.
I wished we had more time to spend at the resort and condo as we were generally out on excursions until the evening. Perhaps next time.

The property was wonderful 4 bedrooms the twin bed room had trundle beds under which was great for our family. The baby high chair. And bed were a blessing for small children. The view were amazing. The kitchen is fully stocked. Plenty of beach toys. Albert was wonderderful to work with on our booking. As covid hit. Our daughter had another baby. We had to delay our trip but our only regret is we didn't get to stay longer. A week isn't enough time to see the beautiful island.

We had plenty of space for three adults and two teenagers. This condo is very well equipped and we enjoyed cooking many meals together. We especially liked the coffee machine, electric griddle, & Vitamix. We used the beach items, wagon, and coolers almost every day. We have stayed at The Cliffs multiple times and very much enjoyed this condo. The owners were quick to respond to any concerns or questions. The view is the best we’ve experienced at The Cliffs. My only suggestion would be for the third bedroom to have more comfortable beds ie mattresses. They would be fine for you g children but not so much for my 20 and 23 year old daughters.

The best thing about this property is the view. Being able to make breakfast for the kids and get ready for the day with the chance of seeing a whale jump is just the best. Coming home and playing on the lawn preceding sunset, then watching the sunset from the lanai is so very relaxing.
This is not to say the condo isn’t great. It isn’t huge but we had enough space for 4 kids to do some homework while 4 adults read or made food. We never felt cramped, except for the kitchen. It is galley style so just something we got used to. The equipment and pans, as well as spices and such in the pantry and fridge left behind by others, made meals easy. On-site washing machine was very handy. The property towel exchange made clean towels a snap.
The pool wasn’t huge but was big enough for play after a day of exploring north shore beaches.
Check in was easy, and communication with the owners was quick and helpful.
We’re hoping to come back to this property in the future. We had a great time!

This two-story property was clean and airy, well-appointed and located on a prime ocean front viewing area. It literally was like staying at a nature preserve. Nee Nee geese in large groups wandered freely around people. Huge albatross birds performed their mating rituals on the lawn two times for over three hours. Mourning Doves, Myna Birds and red headed cardinals came often to check on us on the lanai. And, the whales! Just sit quietly and in time you are guaranteed flipper waves and breaches. Numerous Adirondack chairs are available for those staying at The Cliffs without front row views. Inside the four-bedroom condo, no lack of attention has been noticed in providing for guests. Our family tries to get together every other year from Alaska and Washington State. We are grandparents, two grown sons with spouses and two grandsons, 5 and 11. I never heard "I'm bored" from anyone. And those who wanted to snooze the morning away did so without guilt. The amenities of The Cliffs are amazing and we never noticed overcrowding. Staying home relaxing took up most of our time but we did make beach trips for swimming and snorkeling. All were within easy beautiful drives along the coast. Several times we enjoyed amazing rainbows and for over four hours an unidentified spherical object high in the sky. Several military jets circled it and it finally disappeared as the sun set. Most agree it was a huge weather balloon. As far as contact with the owner, I couldn't have asked for more. I merely mentioned several problems that any property with multiple users would have due to misuse. Within on day the owner had a handyman on site who came and fixed what I had identified and fixed other things he noticed. Obviously, he knew the property well and showed us how to use things we weren't aware of. Would I recommend coming to this property? Without any reservations. I can't find the proper words to express our complete satisfaction for our two-week stay. And, I wouldn't hesitate to rent it again if the opportunity comes in the future. Each person in our family sincerely thanked my wife and I for providing them this vacation and hopefully they will remember it fondly after we are gone.

We stayed with our 3 kids and everyone had space and a bathroom! The 2 levels provided some privacy with both bedrooms downstairs having views and patio access! Upstairs the kitchen was fully stocked, we saved money by cooking meals instead of going out. Great views for whale watching, catching sunrises and good air flow throughout with the windows open! Pool and hot tub were amazing and the desk staff helped us locate a driver when in a bind! Our first time to Hawaii, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. My husband and I and two of our adult children came for 10 days of outdoor activities and loved being able to relax in comfort at the end of each day. The property is not air conditioned which may be difficult for some but my group isn’t high maintainece so the fans were sufficient.
If the owners decided to increase their fee’s I’d look elsewhere but currently the price is right!

This is probably one of the best properties we have stayed at! You have pretty much everything you could need. Even essential oils and a diffuser! I was worried about no a/c, but with the trade winds it was great. They have a really nice pool as well. We really enjoyed the adults only hot tub in the back! We really enjoyed being in such a great location! The condo was great. We did have a few things that were a little bit of a nuisance. The screen doors always came off the track, some of the lights didn’t work in bedrooms, and there were several dirty dishes in the cupboards.

From the start we knew our stay would be amazing. From the first email with easy to follow instructions, food and beach and activity was perfect. Checkin was a breeze, no problem at all. The view was spectacular, sunsets unreal. Amenities were great. Everything you could think of if you looked was in the house. Kitchen had everything you needed.. lots of rooms and bathrooms, we had 5 of us but could have easily fit a couple more. The Wi-Fi was awesome!! Even worked with our tech heavy teens! Lucky we got out a lot and still unplugged. With windows and doors open and fans on even on the hottest July days there was a great breeze thru the house and easy to get a great night sleep. Overall fabulous! Highest recommendation from us!

If this property is available for your stay in Princeville - BOOK IT! You will not be disappointed! Albert was a most communicative host and offered many thoughtful suggestions for our stay. Our check in process was super easy and the agents were very friendly and happy to acquaint us with the property. The unit itself was very clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed. The view from the unit is BEYOND STUNNING! My family and I are fortunate and have travelled to many beautiful places, however, the view from this property is unparalleled. The property has many amenities as well: pool, hot tub, bicycles for rent, outdoor grills, and the market is only a mile or 2 away. You can walk to the Queen's Bath and Hideaways Beach - 2 MUST SEE places in Princeville. When we return to Kauai, this unit will be our first choice for accomodations.

Four of us girlfriends stayed at this property and it was a luxurious and lovely stay. When it rains, the view to the Cliffs gives a misty Scottish feel, but when the sun comes out, it's full tropical glory again. Nene geese were peeking in all the time, and they may get loud in the morning but we were not bothered and thought it was cute.
The manager was super nice and helpful. Beach gear in the closet. No A/C but we didn't need it on the north side of the island.

My family+ - a group of 5 stayed here for 6 nights and our only regret was that we couldn’t have stayed longer. It’s the perfect location on the north shore and this condominium has everything in the way of comforts and amenities you could ask for (and probably a few more). This condo was perfect for our family! Equipped with crib, high chair, and beach toys for the kids, great layout for our large family, can’t beat the view! The Cliffs property overall was wonderful (pool, amenities, activities), but this particular condo is in the single best building in the whole complex, 1 of only 2 buildings that are truly cliff-front with views of the ocean from your condo and you walk right out the sliding door onto a big grassy bluff for kids to run around and adults to relax in Adirondack chairs. The hosts were SO incredibly friendly and helped us quickly with our only little hiccup (couldn’t figure out how to work the fancy coffee maker!). I’m so grateful for both the hosts and the Cliffs staff. We had an amazing time. Great location, 3 mile drive to hanalei bay shops and beach, 11 miles to Kalalau trail along napali coast, and right around the corner from the walking trail down to the secluded anini beach which is super calm for kiddos. Loved everything!

This property is gorgeous and comfy. The views are stunning! The pool is refreshing and nearby and there are a lot of community activities available to you, including nightly food trucks in the neighborhood. There is a grocery store very nearby and you can hike to the bottom of the cliffs and see beautiful caves and sea turtles (not recommended for those who aren’t in good physical condition). There is no air conditioning but the house really cools off at night and is comfortable during the day with the fans on. We went during the hottest month of the year so I assume most other months, this wouldn’t even be noticed. The house was clean and stocked with necessities such as plenty of towels, coffee maker, beach chairs and toys, etc. we would love to return someday and we will definitely stay again at this location!
