Probably the best view from the second story balcony of any place I have ever stayed. Condo was very clean and owner provided
many little ammenities that a hotel would not provide. Owner provided great communication before and up to checkin date as well as followup
after checkout. Would recommend this condo to any one and I would definately stay there again in the future

We could not recommend Maalaea Bay enough. If you’re looking for beach views and sounds, but don’t want all the sand stop looking and book now! The condo was squeaky clean, spacious, and wow that view. The breeze that flowed through the condo with the doors open was amazing. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need down to the first aid kit in one of the drawers. The owners had laminated cards with recommendations on restaurants, sites and excursions/activities.
If you’re lucky enough and Mother Nature provides giant swells it makes for great surf watching! We also enjoyed watching the sea turtles swim in the shallows near the giant rocks.
We were always within 15 min of whatever we found ourselves doing that day. Location, communication, and cleanliness were top notch. We would absolutely rent again.

Great condo has perfect layout. The view is amazing and so close to the water. The grounds are beautiful and so quiet and private. Thankful we found this place. Would love to stay again. 5 stars are not enough, Top shelf, excellent location. well furnished. The owner wrote all the info. regarding restaurants, shops, top scenic sites, beaches with maps. All writings are laminated. well maintain building and grounds. Centrally located. Would stay here again.

We are very happy to have found and booked the apartment for our stay. There are 2 bedrooms, each with an adjacent bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a fantastic view over the complex and you can hear the sound of the Pacific all night long. The kitchen is very well equipped. We found everything we needed to support ourselves. Everything was lovingly prepared. We felt very welcome.
We particularly liked the great view of the well-kept apartment complex and the Pacific Ocean. The apartment complex is mainly used privately by Americans and some are also rented out. The pool was very well maintained, as was the entire complex. Central barbecue facilities are available. We were also able to see turtles.
The apartment is centrally located on Maui, so you can easily reach all parts of the island by car. After a 15-minute drive you are in a busy holiday area with large supermarkets, shops and wonderful beaches. We found it very nice that the apartment had 4 comfortable beach chairs with 2 parasols and other beach equipment.
We would especially like to thank Howard & Kathleen. There are lots of tips about Hawaii, Maui, recommended beaches, restaurants, exploring and much more. We have been in regular contact since booking, so we were able to find out about the terrible fires and the daily changing situation. A big thank you for that. Mahalo.

Property owners were super accomodating when a medical issue forced a last minute delay in our trip. Exclellent communication. Maalaea Kai is a stellar property that is maintained to a high standard.
The unit was really comfortable and had all of the the details covered that make for a wonderful vacation. Every beach item you could think of was available, from snorkle gear and a boogie board to multiple chairs and umbrellas, towels and a cooler. We wanted for nothing. The locking screen door was such a great feature. Opening the front and lanai doors let the Maalaea breeze blow through. We didn't need to use the A/C even once during our stay.
We will definately book this unit again on future trips.

This Maalaea condo was in the perfect location for us and was very clean. The view from the lanai and master bedroom was amazing (full front ocean view). The harbor is right there and a nice sandy beach you can walk to within 10 minutes. The condo was very well stocked with various items we did not need to go out to purchase. The owner, Howard, was excellent about responding immediately to any questions I had. You can walk to a small market with food to purchase and a little bar as well as the aquarium and about 5 other restaurants. Try Tante's for their happy hour food and drinks from 12 to 6 everyday. Their Mai Tais and sandwiches are decent. Thank you for an amazing vacation, Howard! We will return. :)

This location is on the quiet side of Maui (which we liked) and on the 2nd floor of the 4 story building - giving us a beautiful view of the pool, ocean and mountains.
The owner provided excellent communication from the moment we booked the reservation until after we left the property.
This was our first time in Maui and we decided after exploring that we made a good decision with location.
The best thing about this property was the neighbors. The couples that live there all year round were so helpful and welcoming. Several days we just hung out at the pool with them which we thoroughly enjoyed.
A nice little surprise was the harbor, stores, restaurants and aquarium that were just a short walk from the location.
We were sad to leave the beauty before us but took many pictures to remember this trip!

PROPERTY: Can’t go wrong with a sunrise ocean view from bed every morning. The condo was stocked with everything we needed for our week-long stay. Aside from everyday essentials the condo had beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, a cooler, pool noodles, sand buckets, everything you could need for beach outings! We enjoyed meeting other tenants as we barbecued out in the yard. The property is in the shade by 5pm so an evening dip in the beautiful pool was enjoyed by all. They light the tiki torches on the weekends which we enjoyed sitting by with a glass of wine and taking in the ocean. The tiki torches were also fun to see from our sunset cruise.
LOCATION: Perfectly situated away from tourists and yet close to everything. Walking distance to the Aquarium, Putt Putt Golf, Food Trucks, Carl’s Jr, Boat Excursions, and a public beach park. Short drive south to Kihei and north to Lahaina to play tourist.
I would definitely recommend this property and hope it’s available for our next Maui vacation.

We had a wonderful and relaxing time at this property! Everything was clean and the furnishings were very nice. All communications with the owner were effortless. The views of the water were perfect, and you are a short drive to many day trips. We would absolutely stay here again.

We enjoyed the location of the property as it made travel to Kihei or Lahaina-Ka’anapali area easy. The ocean view from the lanai was mesmerizing as we watched the whales. We typically don't spend much time at our lodging location while vacationing as we want to take in as many of the sights as possible, but this condo was so nice and peaceful that we found ourselves spending quite a bit of time there. Watching the turtles come up for air while enjoying the beautiful ocean view from the lanai was so peaceful and relaxing. Not mention waking up to see the same view from our bed. The grounds were clean, peaceful and friendly. Having a full kitchen to cook in was great! The location was just right for us. It was a quick walk to a couple small stores for the basics and a short drive into Kihei for anything else you may need. I cannot say enough about how helpful the informational cards were that Howard keeps in the condo for guests. From local beaches and restaurants, to flowers and sea life found around the island. A lot of time and thought has been put into those. We also greatly appreciated the the extra beach supplies that were there for our use, such as the beach towels, fins, cooler, etc. Howard made sure we had all the correct information for getting to the condo, easy instructions for getting in, and contact info in case we encountered any issue or just had general questions. I could go on, but I will finish by saying that the place you stay in can make a big difference in the experience you have on vacation and this place helped make our vacation the best vacation we have had in years! I have already recommended it to several family members and friends and would definitely stay here again when visiting Maui. A great big Mahalo from us to Howard!

I don't know where to start. Howard from day one when we made our reservation kept in contact with us. When there was a shortage of rental cars, he contacted us to make sure we had a car rented. We so appreciated that. He made sure we had directions to the Condo. He is a fantastic owner to work with. The Condo. We walked in the door and it was exactly like we were told it would be. Decorated nicely, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The bedrooms were a nice size with queen sized beds. We couldn't ask for more. The view, omgosh the view from the lanai is breathtaking. The Condo is centrally located, it's perfect. The aquarium is right across the street. Would I recommend this condo, you bet I would 100%. We hope to come back and stay here again.

We stayed in this condo for 12 days and found it to be ideal for two couples. With bedrooms and ensuite a at either end of the condo, we were each able to have our own space when we needed it. The condo is well set up with all holiday needs and its central location proved to be ideal for driving around the island. There is a great restaurant/bar close by and fishermen are well catered for with a large selection of charter boats in the harbour. Golfers have a large choice of courses within a ten minute drive and more affordable than some of the big-name courses.
Overall I would highly recommend this condo for your stay on Maui.

We enjoyed our stay in Maui and found the condo to be a great location for all our day trips around the island. We are a family of five (3 teenagers) and didn't want to feel squished into a tiny condo or hotel room and Maalaea 206 provided us with plenty of room. Thanks to Howard and Kathleen for providing boogie boards and snorkelling equipment - had so much fun with those at the beach!
Watching the sunrise on the lanai every morning was such a tranquil way to start the day and we enjoyed many walks down the beach - you can literally walk for miles.
We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a condo in Maui.

The condo is in a perfect location for staying in Maui. Close to the airport and centrally located on the island.
Howard the owner is awesome to work with and very customer service oriented. They supply the toys for the beach including chairs, towels, boogie boards, and a cooler.
Our next trip we will definitely stay in the condo again when we come back to Maui.
There is a great restaurant near the aquarium "Seascape" that has wonderful food and ambiance and is a short walk from the condo which makes it nice if you want to have a drink or two and not drive.
Thanks Howard for being great to work with and taking care of our needs at the condo.

A perfect experience in a beautiful place. We traveled to Maui for our daughter's wedding and included elderly and young people, with a lot of activities all over the island and found the condo to be in great proximity to it all. Beautifully furnished, supplied with any and all beach going items you will need and the on site staff and support to keep everything in tip top shape. A great view of the turtles, whales and other ocean life from your balcony, left us a with a amazing view both morning and night. The sound of the waves and the ocean breeze at night was lovely and the complex was very quiet and with the adventures supplied at the marina and beaches within minutes in either direction. We would definitely stay again and look forward to returning soon.

We so enjoyed staying at this condo! Having the beautiful view and sound of the waves was fantastic! Pictures and descriptions on this site were excellent and right on!
The location was nice and not far from the airport, shopping or restaurants, yet out of the city. The beach was steps away as were a few stores, restaurants and the aquarium.
The furnishings were very nice and having a fully equipped, full size kitchen was also a plus. Everything was clean and well maintained. Beds were comfy and the complex was quiet.
Pages of information provided by the owner before we left home plus more pages of information in the condo came in handy and having an on site property manager is always nice. The owner has answered any questions almost immediately.
We would return in a heartbeat.
Such great memories! We were really sorry when we had to leave.

I stayed here with my Husband and my Dad. The place was exactly as it was shown in the pictures. Very nice and clean - the grounds were very well kept. The owners were very easy to work with and answered all my questions and had good ideas for us during our stay. The whale watching was spectacular!!! And the turtles were awsome. It was very nice and quiet and had everything that we needed. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a beautiful setting - and a nice relaxing vacation. If it had king size beds I would have given it 5 stars.

I stayed a month at Howard and Kathleen's condo and it was wonderful. The property is right next to the ocean. We saw whales while sitting on the lanai. The condo was exactly as advertised , clean , newly decorated, plenty of towels, boogie boards, snorkels and beach toys for the kids. The grounds at the complex were immaculate and the pool was quite large and very refreshing. It never got crowded. If ever I am fortunate enough to return to Maui, I would have no hesitation in renting this condo again.

This is a perfect 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom condo with wonderful Ocean views! This was my first ever trip to Hawaii! We traveled the week of Thanksgiving, and rather than staying in a resort we through to rent a larger, more personal space. I am so glad we picked this unit! There is plenty of space and you can't get any closer to the ocean!
This property is perfect and has everything you need! The bedrooms are big and and both have large closets with plenty of storage. Not only is there plenty of storage, both bedrooms have large private bathrooms. The kitchen is great and has everything we needed (we cooked a Thanksgiving meal) and we made great use of the two very nice outdoor gas grills on the property.
This being my first ever trip to Hawaii I was a little worried about what to do during the day. Not to worry -- this unit is in a great location and we never had to drive any further than 10-15 minutes to schedule surfing lessons and snorkeling trips!
I would highly recommend this property to anyone!

What a great vacation condo! The view is stunning and only steps away to the ocean. Great cross breeze with the front screen door open and locked and the sliding door open. Used the AC at night just for better sleep. Beautiful, big sea turtles hang out near the waterfront, so our days always included a visit with them! The condo itself is beautifully decorated and cozy. The beds are extremely comfortable and the seating in the living area was more than adequate: a comfy sofa and several chairs which worked quite well for four adults. The towels were large, soft and luxurious. Can't say enough about the great customer service provided by the owner and the helpful onsite manager. The laminated information sheets and maps were really useful and helped us countless times.
A large 4 mile long beach is a short walk away. Great for boogie boarding, long walks, a swim, or contemplation. Almost forgot to mention the chairs, cooler, towels, boogie boards and snorkel equipment available for your use. What a great place! Would we stay here again? Definitely.
