Guests rave about their stay at our condo. Pictures cannot fully convey the peaceful, positive energy of this special unit. Please check out the YouTube video at the end of the slideshow for the view from the lanai balcony. We are dedicated to ensuring our guests have a wonderful time.

We do not charge a damage deposit. Cleaning costs are $180 and per booking plus a $50 admin fee.

VRBO/HomeAway will not allow us to specify the number of guests as two adults and two children—so we are forced to put down that we host 4 people. The suite is a 1 bedroom condo with a comfortable queen size pull out sofa.

We DO NOT require any damage deposit—we never charge for broken things or swim gear that does not make it back from the beach. Accidents happen, and you should be able to use our condo and our swim gear with full enjoyment—not always fearful of a damage charge. All we ask is to simply let us know so we can replace the item for our next guests.

Yes, our Condo UNIT ITSELF is actual OCEANFRONT.

Ocean WAVES crash just BELOW LANAI—60 Ft.—Located RIGHT ON Maalaea Bay, Maui, Hawaii, USA. Convenient Central Maui, 20 minutes from Kahului Airport, Kihei, or Lahaina.

Accommodation is a second-floor condominium that sleeps 4. One bedroom with a queen-size bed, and the beautiful living room couch is a convertible, queen-sized sofa bed. One full bath.

DETAILED BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You will have the peaceful sound of the ocean crashing ashore from your fully-equipped, lighted lanai; a restful sound that resonates throughout the spacious living and dining areas. You will breathe in the gorgeous unobstructed daytime view of all of Maalaea Bay, Molokini crater crescent, Kihei, and Mount Haleakala. Stunning sunrises over Mount Haleakala (for those few willing to get up at that hour, it is worth it).

The evenings are just as special; enjoy the soft romance of warm breezes, the tiki-torch-lit shoreline, the sight of a CLEAR MOON-RISE over majestic Mount Haleakala, the light shimmering across the bay.

You will appreciate this one-of-a-kind location. This condo is on the one and only residential street in Ma’alaea Harbor. Enjoy strolling down this quiet tree-lined sidewalk, listening to the birds, and inhaling the delicate fragrance of plumeria blossoms.

At the end of the road is Haycraft Park, just a short walk from the condo. This is where you will either enjoy swimming in sparkling clear waters or start your walk along four miles of beautiful, uncrowded, sandy beach bordering the Kealia National Wildlife Refuge. The walk from our condo to the park is 1/4 mile walk; or you can drive since there is a small lot at the park.

The wildlife refuge was established in 1992 and is home to endangered native water birds, and hosts migratory ducks and shorebirds in fall, winter, and spring. This refuge provides 700 acres of some of the last remaining natural wetland habitat in the State of Hawaii. Kealia Pond is nearly 250 acres when full. The refuge is adjacent to Kealia Beach, which is a nesting ground for the endangered hawksbill turtle.

More than 31 species of birds, such as the endangered Hawaiian stilt and coot, and migrant waterfowl and shorebirds such as the Pacific golden plover use this refuge. You can approach the refuge from your walk along the ocean, or use the roadway to access an interpretive kiosk and boardwalk along the beach and refuge mudflats.

In summer months, the Refuge Pond shrinks, and many more shorebirds congregate here to take advantage of food exposed as the pond recedes. As the pond shrinks, fish are crowded into the remaining water, making them easy prey for black-crowned, night herons.

Another advantage of the CENTRAL LOCATION OF MAALAEA BAY is the proximity of so many attractions, all within easy walking distance. You can stroll to the nearby FIVE-STAR restaurants, the Maui Ocean Center and Aquarium, the Yacht Marina with tour boats for deep-sea fishing and whale watching tours, The Pacific Whale Foundation, and the Maalaea Harbor Village shops and restaurants.

Within the Maalaea Bay community of ten condominiums, Maalaea Kai, the building of Our Ma'alaea Home, stands out as an outstanding facility with well-groomed grounds. Barbecue is a delightful experience, with three grills and dining area just on the shoreline. Relax in the large heated pool, while enjoying the view of the crashing waves.

You will find everything spotlessly clean and completely furnished for all of your needs.

The AIR CONDITIONING is ducted from outside to BOTH the front and rear of our condominium, with INDIVIDUAL REMOTE CONTROLS for each room, affording desired, quiet comfort. FREE BROADBAND Internet plug-in cable hookup is provided.

We have maintained our home as a SMOKE-FREE, pet-free environment for the enjoyment of our guests. Please do not smoke on the lanai inasmuch as the smoke travels to other units. There is no smoking on any of the grounds.

We traveled to many different locations on the island and our "base" was central to all of them. The place was clean and cozy. The kitchen made eating in a breeze. We would definitely recommend staying here for anyone looking to see as much of Maui as possible!

Unit was clean views of Maalaea Bay were beautiful Kitchen was very nicely redone. Only one bathroom in unit it could use some work. The tub does not drain. You stand in 3 inches of water every time you shower there’s a note that says hair will clog the drain, but that’s not the issue I have no hair. View of the bay from Lanai is beautiful, but the outdated old metal furniture set you right at railing Height and blocks your view, they could have updated lanai furniture that lifted you above the railing or maybe a lounging chair The description says washer and dryer, but no washer and dryer in the unit. You must go down the hall and pay if you need to use the washer and dryer. We’ve been coming to Maalaea Bay for 30 years fishing, it was nice, but the bathroom could be updated putting a closet washer dryer and would be no big deal and updating the patio furniture would be fantastic. I give it three stars.

This was our first time not staying on the west side of Maui. What we loved about this location was how close to the airport and Costco we were. The grounds of this condo building are absolutely beautiful. They are so well taken care of. There are ample sun loungers on the grounds as well as in the pool area. The condo itself was perfect for our family of three. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need and we loved that the freezer had an automatic icemaker. We made most of our own dinners and the BBQ area was perfect for that. The large lanai made for excellent whale watching. It was also a huge bonus that the condo supplied beach chairs, boogie boards , and a cooler bag. While the condo itself could use some updating, we know from other reviews that Gwen is planning that at some point. By no means did that take away from our vacation. Gwen was also very responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this condo.

This is a bit of an older unit so If you’re looking for an updated condo- this may not be the place for you. With that being said let me tell you ALL the pros! You are right on the water and if it’s whale season like it was for us there’s no need to book a whale watch.. they are right there in the bay. Gwen even provides binoculars! For anyone concerned about the mattress reviews, please note that there was a brand new firm mattress in place when we arrived! Another thing to note is you have a reserved parking spot.. this is such a luxury. We did come home once to a worker parking in it but they moved without an issue. The biggest pro for us was the location. Being central made it easy to get around and do everything we wanted. I also want to mention communication- Gwen always responds quickly which gives you the feeling of security knowing if you have any problems she will be on it right away.

Wonderful location. Bathroom needs updating and the tv was difficult to use, but otherwise was a nice place to stay.

Lovely condo right in the water. Sit on the balcony and watch the waves, sunset, sunrise, stars. Turtles in the morning in the rocks right off the property. Well equipped kitchen with ice maker. Beach towels, chairs, cooler. Nice pool and short walk to a beach. There is a good breeze if you open the bedroom window and balcony sliding door. AC works well. Items to note: the condo is directly under the flight path, so you’ll hear a lot of airplanes. This is the windiest part of the island, but did not bother us. Bathroom could use an update. Not near much, so expect to drive for restaurants, groceries etc. TV is quite small. As others mentioned, the bed could use an update. A bed in a box would be a big improvement.

PROS: The view - oceanfront so the constant sound of the waves is soothing. One of the most gorgeous views to wake up to that we have ever experienced! Quiet - never once were we disturbed by other guests, traffic, or crowds. Location - about a five-minute walk to the harbor, Maui Ocean Center, the nearest beach and a small local grocer that serves a very decent breakfast and lunch. Grounds - beautiful landscaping, nice pool, laundry facilities and grill area. We even saw numerous turtles at the sea wall! CONS: TV - It takes three remotes and a page full of instructions to operate the tv. And we boomers never could figure it out so my husband did without football for the week. A/C - it is loud! The unit on the lanai sounds like an airplane taking off and after a while, it is annoying. Bed - needs a new mattress and when I stripped the linens upon check-out, we saw many stains on the mattress. Cleanliness - the entire unit needs a top to bottom cleaning and a fresh paint job. We had a few issues and the owner was very quick to send someone to take care of it. OVERALL: I would definitely stay here again. It is very budget friendly. You'll understand what I mean when you venture down to Wailea/Makena area. So if you don't want to spend a fortune on accommodations, this is a great place to stay!

We really enjoyed staying at this VRBO. The views were awesome and seeing the turtles daily was amazing. We're SCUBA divers and it is super close to one of the ports used. This was great for those 6:30AM dive boat meeting times. ;) Lots of kitchen appliances available, AC worked great, parking is easy peasy, and its central location is a great home base to go both North or South on the west side of the island. We hit some weather at the very end of our stay and the host was VERY accomodating allowing us a late check-out due to a changed flight time and even offered an extra day for us if the flight got cancelled. (Thanks, Gwen!) We'd definitely recommend this VRBO to a friend and look forward to another stay.

We loved staying at Gwen’s condo in Maalaea and for us the location was perfect. The view is beyond magical and it was really relaxing sitting on the lanai watching the sun set and rise and hear the waves. The condo had everything we needed. Would love to come back here in the future . The communication with the owner was great and she answered right away when we had a question about something.

We made the most out of our vacation and enjoyed what was made up to us. The beach front was gorgeous. We spot a few turtles on our last day and it was nice to wake up and enjoyed a cup of coffee on the balcony. The host was attentive and always responsive to our needs and questions. Upon arriving from a long flight, we were tired and everyone just wanted to sleep. While making our bed, I noticed a few things not up to standard such as sofa bed cover stained (looks like pee, it was yellow) from who knows when, pillows with sweats stains from maybe last several stay and old sheets that had a smell on like it’s been sitting for a while. (Think of sheets you wash and stored away for a long time and when taken out to use, its collects a weird smell). When communicated to the host, Gwen was apologetic and said she’s disappointed and it’s never happened before. A small refund ($110) given back to us for the inconvenience. The house keeper went to Target and dropped off new sheets. I was communicated new pillows were going to be dropped off but never did. Our family came for a vacation and everything should have been perfect but it wasn’t. We tried to make the best out of it. The highlight of our stay was the view, otherwise the unit is a bit outdated and could use fresh paint and new furniture. There were beach towels, camping chairs available to the guest, if needed. Also boggie boards and binocular. Not intended to be a bad review but just an honest review.

Very nice condo in Maalea! Clean, great little kitchen, porch overlooking Maalea bay! Saw herd of turtles (actually, correct word is "bale" of turtles) right off the front lawn area. Very easy walk to restaurant, shops in Maalea village. Good "home base" for travels around Maui.

It was a perfect week with my newly wedded wife in a perfect location to check out everything the island of Maui had to offer. We did not have a SINGLE issue with anything and the place was FULL of all the essentials we needed for the week and MORE! Highly recommend!

Gwen's place in Ma'alaea was perfect for visiting Maui. It's centrally located, making trips to Wailea-Makena, Kihei, and Lahaina a breeze. The sunrise is beautiful from the lanai, and the view is breathtaking, including whales and turtles in the bay. We highly recommend a stay here!

December 2022
The property was well maintained. The condo was beautifully decorated and we had a wonderful view of the bay. There is miles of beach to walk on and hardly any people using it. This was our 3rd time to Maalaea area. We are very familiar with area. Saying that our host sent very detailed information about the condo as well as maps, activties, other helpful information. It was a very relaxing holiday

We stayed here for about one week during our holiday. It was a great spot - quiet and spectacular views, while also being close enough to basically go anywhere! Gwen was great to communicate with and the property and condo are as described. We loved staying here and would return again!

May 2022
This condo has amazing views, and is in a quiet, private location. Enjoyed the local restaurants, whale and turtle watching from the lanai and walking distance to a pretty good beach. Hard to beat. We had hoped for a more comfortable bed, more updated amenities and to be able to listen to the amazing CD collection, but the player did not work. The fan in the bathroom was very loud and we had difficulty with the DW but eventually got it started. Overall, cannot beat the views, location and value for this place.

This condo was perfect for myself, husband and daughter. We loved the ocean view from the lanai, the immaculate grounds and pool, and the central location. The condo was very clean and well stocked. Clean laundry facility was great. Plenty of fresh towels and beach items. We would love to stay here again!

March 2022
This is an ocean front property with full, direct views of the ocean (Maalaea Bay) from the living room and balcony. We saw whales daily. The complex is older, but both the property and this condo unit are well maintained and meticulously cared for.

February 2022
Wonderful unit with an exceptional view. Great for sunrises, sunsets, whale and turtle watching . Watching the whales from the lanai was outstanding! Binoculars were provided but not always needed. Unit was well equipped with amenities. Gwen (owner) was very helpful and easy to contact. The bed was very comfortable as were all the furnishings. We never needed to use the A/C as the overhead fans and breeze coming in from the ocean kept the unit very cool. Location was great. Easy access to store, beaches, restaurants and easy access to the highway to tour around. Definitely hope to return next year.

We got in at about 11:00 pm and a week later we were to check out at 11:00am, but our flight times had gotten changed so the condo owner let us stay till early evening so we didn’t have to hang out in the rental car for 10 hours! Thank you again!!

Our stay at Richard's condo was absolutely wonderful; great weather, amenities and location makes for a memory filled vacation. Everything you would ever need for an unforgetable experience is found here, some things may be a little out dated (bathroom, kitchen) but they're fully functional, plus there are a number of other things (body boards, flippers, snorkling gear, mats and other stuff) to make your time here more enjoyable. The grounds are immaculate, the pool is beautiful and there are excellent barbecues conveniently located, if needed. I would highly recommend Richard's condo to anyone wishing to visit this tropical paradise. It was a fantastic experience we hope to duplicate very soon. Aloha!!

Richard is very hospitable and answered all queries promptly. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. In addition, the condominium facilities (BBQ, pool, lawns, public sitting areas etc) are also well maintained. Staying in this apartment was an absolute pleasure! Key features of the apartment that we liked are: (1) The well stocked kitchen which allows the flexibility to prepare our own meals and enjoy them on the 'lanai' overlooking the ocean and the Haleakala mountain (2) The beach towels and beach gear which enable an easy picnic at the beach (3) The view from the 'lanai' of the ocean and the gentle breeze - you could spend all day on the balcony and still yearn for more (4) The well stocked home library that allows you to relax while reading at home (5) The telescope and binoculars that assist in watching turtles and whales (6) a TV, radio, DVD player - you can have all the comforts and connection to worldly news and developments if you choose to Richard was a great host and made us feel very comfortable. We loved his apartment and would love to return when we visit Maui in the future.

December 2016
Our recent family vacation to Maui was wonderful! 10 days brimming with activities and adventure for myself, my husband & our two kids. We are so happy to have spent our down time at this condo! We found the rates to be extremely reasonable for our vacationing budget and Gwen & Richard provided all the offerings and more of some of the more pricey condos on Maui ( I did plenty of research before committing to this condo). We saved a fortune by having a kitchen and not having to eat out all the time. The bbqs here are well looked after and cleaned spotless on a daily basis! The tiki torches were lit on the weekends and look so nice. The views around here will take your breath away and we enjoyed coffee on the lanai on a regular basis, scanning for whales (we didn't see any yet, Dec-March is best for whales). We didn't need to use A/C since the tradewinds kept everything nice and cool. It got REALLY windy while we were there, and apparently Maalaea is one of the windier areas of Maui! We didn't mind the wind, it kept the bugs away (except for one still night where I got eaten alive!!!) but if mosquitoes love you, They Love You. I will remember my bug spray next time! The kitchen had plenty of supplies to cook with and was well organized. The bedroom was perfect for my husband and I and the kids got the pullout couch which worked great for them. They heard the waves crashing and we heard the winds blowing! It was very tranquil! The parking stall is a quick walk to the stairs or elevator and we found it very convenient for hauling gear, luggage, groceries, etc... (We found the door lock a little tricky, maybe just because we're not used to it). The kids enjoyed using the boogie boards at the beach. We did use the pool once and it was nice and quiet. Everything was as Richard described in great detail in his emails. I really appreciated how quickly he responded to my inquiries and how patient he and Gwen were with me while I made up my mind. I'm so glad I trusted my instinct! Yes! This condo almost seemed too good to be true and for what it's worth...it may not be uber modern or super fancy, but we were looking for a cozy home away from home and we found it here! We were delighted with this condo and the owners' hospitality!!! Maalaea is a beautiful, quiet area and centrally located to EVERYTHING! Consider yourself lucky to stay here. A rare opportunity on Maui to save some money! Mahalo, Richard & Gwen. We hope to visit again one day.

Aloha! We recently stayed in this unit for 10 days and found it to be a great location as well as quiet. Within walking distance of a beach (0.4 mile pleasant stroll), where you can take long beach walks without the big resorts or seeing a lot of people. Did not even need bug spray here, the ocean winds provide relief from that. We only used the AC the first night, still being acclimated to mainland habits! We then cracked open the front door and opened the bedroom window. The wind blowing through the unit was phenomenal! The sound of the waves and view from the condo is outstanding and lovely. So comforting to wake up to that everyday and it was so hard to leave it in the end. The condo was well stocked and well taken care of. Quite relaxing after a long day of sightseeing! : ) This condo was perfect for us, an active 50+ couple. Could be cramped with more people I would think, although when sleeping on the foldout couch in the living room, it was spa-like to listen to the waves as you fall asleep. We enjoyed using the telescope and binoculars, especially at night, to view the moon, stars and Kihei. LOVED the scenic drives (both sides of the "peanut" are equally beautiful). If you want to do one of the luaus, book early. They fill up faster than we anticipated and so we missed going to one. Snorkel/beach equipment is included and they also sell snorkel equipment everywhere. We found Longs Drugs has some of the best prices. The "Maui Revealed" book was a great addition to our stay as it mentioned many worthwhile adventures and sights that would otherwise be missed. Hiking is superb on this island. Gwen and Richard have thought of everything for their guests and are quite easy to talk to and get ahold of. Even though it is a second floor unit it would be easy for those with disabilities to get around as there is an elevator as well as steps to the second floor. We highly recommend this condo to anyone wanting to stay on Maui. It's a great value, quiet, centrally located and has gorgeous views of Maalaea Bay! Have fun, Mahalo!!

After a very long flight, I was pleasantly surprised at pulling into the condo a short 15 minutes after picking up my luggage and rental car. Having a dedicated parking space right next to the entrance and elevator was another welcome surprise. The condo was perfect in so many ways...starting with the magnificent view of the ocean and the sound of nearby waves crashing what seemed like I could touch from my georgous lanai. I couldn't believe I saw a whale breaching in the bay right outside the condo. I was able to watch without the use of binoculars the owners offer their guests! The accommodations were spotless and clean with beautiful tropical motif furnishings. There was nothing the owners did not provide, which was another pleasant surprise. The bedroom was super quiet with fresh, crisp linens and fluffy pillows. I hadn't slept that well in ages. They even supplied enough towels, extra blankets, and any other linen needed. They even supplied laundry soap for the laundry room just steps down the hall from the unit! The kitchen also has everything you will need to cook during your stay. It was also very nice to be able to cook while watching the beautiful ocean right outside the living room. The owners also make sure their guests are not lacking in pool and beach supplies. Something not many condos offer are found here, first this unit has central air, although not necessairly needed because the ceiling fans circulate the soothing trade winds, but AC is nice to have. And second, the pool is heated...you will be surprised this is not common amongst condos in Maui. The Maalaea area is a perfect location for island touring, just a quick 25 minutes to Kaanapali Beach or 25-30 minutes to South Maui or quick trip to Mt. Haleakala. I will end this with the most important feedback I can give. And that is the outstanding kindness and caring nature of the owners Richard and Gwen. The transaction and communication throughout was perfection and exceeded my expectations. Richard was available for questions before, during and after. They made me feel like family. I am going back in December and won't stay anywhere else.

We stayed at the condo in August/September 2014. We really loved the central location close to all activities yet away from the crowds. The size was perfect for 4 of us. The condo was clean. The view from the lanai was beautiful. The beach so close. The kids loved the swimming pool and they had it to themselves most of the time. We saw lots of turtles. Molokini Crates snorkel trip was a real highlight. Haalekala sunrise spectacular. Thank you so much Richard and Gwen for being friendly and helpful. We hope to be back some day for whale watching.

March 2015
This condo was the perfect way for my family and I to stay out Maui stay. Fully equipped, clean and very quiet the condo let my infant adjust to a new place easily. The focal point of the condo is definitely the lanai. Fantastic views of Maalaea bay and westside of Haleakala. On our last morning we watched three whales breach over and over without the help of binoculars or a spotting scope (both provided). My wife needed up spending hours at night on the deck, listening to the waves and enjoying the quiet. The location for the condo is great. A quick walk down the road is a long beach with few others. This condo is close to all the action of Lahaina and Kihei but without the people. All the snorkeling and whale watching boats leave from Maalaea harbor and Walmart/Costco is a 15 minute drive away. It's hard to get more conveniently located than Maalaea. Overall we had a fantastic stay, enjoying ourselves thoroughly.

June 2014
My stay at this beautiful condo was four weeks and I must admit that it was better than my expectations. I have had several stays in condos and hotels in Hawaii of a month's duration, and none have been better than this one at Maalaea Kai. The view from the lanai is absolutely breathtaking with a wide panoramic section (180 deg.) of the ocean in the foreground and the backdrop for the view is the splendor of the slopes of Haleakala Volcanic Crater, home of Haleakala National Park. The grounds are lovely and in immaculate condition with a wonderful lawn (as though walking on a plush carpet). The condo is fully equipped with all the furnishings for a nice vacation. I especially enjoyed my sleep time on the very comfortable bed. The bedroom has lots of closet space and enough hangers to accomodate more than three pieces of large luggage. Space is indeed plentiful. Two AC units (Fujitsu), one for BR and one for LR, both with an individual remote. The condo can be kept at your desired temperature. If one opens the windows there is always a breeze that flows through the unit. On a few days the AC was not needed. The kitchen counters were tiled just before I moved in and they are beautiful. The LR is spacious with a nice comfy sofa and a new flat-screen TV with more channels than I have ever had in either a condo or hotel. The locality of the condo is a preferred location, especially if one is planning to travel the island to places like Kihei, Haleakala, Hana, Kaanapali, Kahului, and the Airport. The condo is in prime location for travel; no traffic to worry about around the condo; easy in, easy out. One of my favorite things to do each morning shortly after sunrise was to walk outside on the front lawn, admire the ocean and mountains, then a slow stroll of about five minutes took me to Maalaea Harbor; home to many fishing and cruise boats. This presents a great opportunity to shoot some great photos; photography is my hobby. Lastly, but probably the most important to me was my contact with Richard, the owner of the condo. From my first contact with him to the last, he was a joy to get to know and with whom to conduct business. I found him to be a person of integrity who is honest and straightforward in what he says and does. I am already excited about a possible return visit to Maalaea Kai.

The LR is spacious with a nice comfy sofa and a new Flat-screen TV, accompanied by more channels than I have ever had in eithr a condo or hotel. The locality of the condo is a preferred location, especially if one is planning to travel the island to places like Kihei, Haleakala, Hana, Kaanapali, Kahului, and the Airport. The condo is in a prime location for travel. No traffic to worry about around the condo; easy in and easy out. One of my favorite things to do each morning shortly after sunrise, was to walk outside on the front lawn and admire the ocean and mountains, then I would stroll about five minutes and then I would be at Maalaea Harbor. This is where many of the fishing boats and cruise boats have their home. This is a great opportunity for photographers to shoot some great shots; photography is my hobby. Lastly, but probably the most important, Richard, the owner. From my first contact with him to the last, he has been a joy to with whom to work. I find him to be a person of integrity, and who is honest and straightforward in all that he says. I am already excitingly looking forward to a return visit to this condo.

We loved this place ! Great view! We had a goooooood time staying this condo. Quiet, No noise issue from street. Perfect sounds of the crashing waves. Well maintained garden & pool. We couldn't find any other condos with an ocean front for this price. The owners are friendly and helpful. We did not have any problems during our stay due to the clear & kind instructions. Many thanks to Richard(owner).

That was my first time making a reservation on VRBO and it was a total success. Owner was easy to reach out and fast to answer, payment easy and the condo as expected (and better). We loved the proximity to the sea; watching the turtles a few feet away from the barbecue was really nice. We also like all the "extra" in the appartment: books, internet, flat TV, confortable mattress, beach toys for our little one, ... Finally, there's not a tremendous night-life in Maalaea but the location of this condo was really ideal/central to visit the island: walking distance to the general store on one side and the long sandy beach on the other side; very central to drive to all the touristic places and next to the harbor to catch a boat to Molokini for the day. Highly recommended!

Excellnt experience! Beautifull views! The owners were very helpful. The condo is very well maintained - clean with plenty of bedding, towles, a well equiped kitchen, and beach items. Very quiet area. Within close walking distance to the Maui Ocean Aquarium, the boat harbor, restaurants and a small grocery store. Snorkling and SCUBA diving right in front of the condo. Whale watching great. Pool never crowded and well maintained. All in all I would suggest this condo to my friends and definately rent it again!

This property is wonderfully located just outside of the harbor and with a total view of the bay. We were at the end of whale season, but enjoyed several days of watching a mama and calf playing in the bay, as well as others doing breaches and waving with their fins. Although the bath and kitchen are somewhat dated, the condo is clean and exactly as described and owners have thought of everything to make your stay easy and pleasant. They are organized, efficient, and attend to any questions promptly. They have provided all the essentials from band-aids to coffee filters, and many extras including water equipment and binoculars. We loved the four restaurants within walking distance and found the nearby Tradewinds deli owners to be helpful, fun, and providing some great local food, as well. It is a pleasure to be lulled to sleep by the lovely surf sounds and to be cooled by the natural tradewinds that blow in the windows. The grounds, barbecue area, and pool are well-maintained and a pleasure to use. Sugar Beach is located at the end of the street, and we enjoyed many peaceful walks in the morning listening to the surf and exploring the tide pools in the reefs.

The property grounds and amenities (pool, grills) were clean & well kept, & it is in a very quiet but also very central location, it is a quick drive to almost anywhere. The condo itsef was great! The view is everything it was advertised to be and more. It is not the fanciest/most updated condo out there, but everything was clean & worked. The kitchen was well stocked (even the knifes were pretty decent!), & the beach gear was a nice touch. I believe the tv has been updated since the pictures, it is now a nice (but smaller) flatscreen. There were plenty of decent quality bedding and linens provided. The only downside was the bed - it was fine for me, but my husband (who is dealing with some back problems right now) was miserable on it. The owners were great working out details & answering questions, we really appreciated that - thanks so much for sharing your condo with us!!

We had a great holiday to Maui. We loved the quiet area of this condo complex. The grounds were nice as was the pool. It was a great central location to all areas of Maui which we loved. The unit was nice but could definitely use an update (mostly the rugs). The unit was wonderfully stocked and we really enjoyed the beach gear (chairs/cooler). We loved the view of the ocean from the lanai...so magical. The owners were very easy to work with. LOVED MAUI!!!!

This was our 3rd time to Maui and we loved staying at this ocean front condo. We've stayed in Kihei twice before with no view of the ocean, we really didn't know what we were missing. We found we loved staying at the condo sitting on the Lanai for hours a day just watching all the surfing action right outside. You get an incredible view of the sunrise every morning and the tiki torches are awesome at night. The condo complex is quiet, relaxing and beautifully landscaped. It's a few minute walk to the shops down the road. Only negative I can say is the condo unit needs to be renovated in the kitchen & bathroom other than that it's a great place for a couple. There are tradewinds in this area but we loved them, we never ever found it cold but made it very comfortable. We would stay in this condo complex again but due to more space requirement would need a 2 bedroom.

Thank you for the wonderful stay at your Condo & we really enjoyed it. Your Condo has all the amenities we needed on vacation and MORE ! The views from the lanai were simply gorgeous. We watched several whales with the powerful binoculars in the unit ! Our only regret was we did not stay longer. We will be back in the future for a longer stay.We will highly recommend this condo to our family & friends. With sincere regards to Richard & Gwen for making our vacation stay a very pleasant one with their kind hospitality. It was not just what they provided us with but the WAY THEY DID IT ! We really appreciate it very much. This was a Home away from home ! Shiv.
