Overall it was a good experience the view is amazing oceanfront with beautiful mornings and sunsets. The kitchen was well stocked so if you enjoy cooking you'll have everything you need. Dishwasher and in unit washer and dryer are definitely a plus I wish we had A/C.. The only complaint I have is the tenant above us was a stomper and was dragging the furniture around and slamming doors we could hear everything so we were awakened at 530am and it went on pass 11pm at night. It is an older building so the sound proofing or installation isn't the best. Kevin tried to help us but it was out of his control.

This condominium was perfect for our family vacation. Clean and comfortable, all the supplies and beach gear we needed. It is close to the stores and the pool and courts were great to have. Sunsets from the lanai were perfect!! We would stay here again.

The condo was laid out perfectly, balcony, lanai overlooking the ocean, fully updated kitchen with all you need to cook in some nights (we stayed 2 weeks). Pool was lovely, located close to stores and to Kona Town. 2 full bathrooms, a must with kids. A fabulous time was had by all. Mahalo

Overall this property is amazing. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely stay here again. Be warned, this is CLOSE to the water (and wave action) so if you are a light sleeper, you may find the waves & ocean sounds to be too loud. We love that, so it wasn’t an issue for us. Our main complaint was with the initial guests above us for the first couple days of our stay. They had an unruly child with them (temper tantrums) and he would stomp and wail and he really made things pretty unpleasant for us the first couple of nights. This obviously isn’t the fault of this place in particular, but if the guest(s) above you aren’t cognizant of their foot noise and furniture moving noises, it could prove very frustrating. But again, overall this place is fantastic. If you’re looking for an oceanfront stay that is still on Ali’i Drive, but not as close to the action and traffic I that can occur closer to Kailua-Kona, this is a great option for you.

We spent six nights there Jan/Feb and had a great time. The views from the lanai were amazing. We were able to see dozens of whales in the mornings and evenings from the lanai. The condo itself was satisfactory for our needs. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need to prepare a meal and there is a grocery store across the street. It resides in a gated community so we felt safe, and you have a designated parking space so you never have to worry about parking. The condo itself does not have AC but we never really needed it. With the windows open and fans running it maintained a comfortable temperature. I enjoyed the sounds of the crashing waves at night which really helped me sleep. Beach gear(chairs, towels, snorkels, masks, etc) were included as well. We did notice a little bit of noise from people walking around in the room above us but only during the day. There is a pool and tennis courts on the property too. Overall it was a great experience and I would stay there again.

Hawaii is considered to be paradise by many and in this instance it certainly was. The condo was lovely. It was roomy, well appointed and it had everything that we could have asked for, right down to quality snorkels and lots of pool noodles. The beds were comfortable, the linens were good quality and the kitchen had absolutely everything that we could have ever wanted. But, best of all was the lanai. The condo sits right on the ocean. The views as seen through the well placed palm trees were gorgeous. We ate all of our dinners out there, relaxed on the chaise lounges and spotted whales spouting in the distance. The condo complex is lovely with well kept grounds, beautiful flowers and a large and inviting pool. The only thing missing was a hot tub. The location in Keauhou is perfect. It is walking distance to the shopping center with a Long’s Drugs, a KTA supermarket, a number of places to eat and even a movie theater. When staying at this condo, you are close enough to Kailua-Kona without being in the middle of all of the congestion. We have stayed in other condos in this complex but this was the very nicest of all of them.

The property was absolutely beautiful, well stocked, and very clean. The views were out of this world. We were extremely happy with our stay and the ease of check in, parking, and the amenities. Would definitely recommend and return to this property.

Very comfortable. Beautiful view. 3 views of Green Flash at sunset. 2nd floor disadvantage all walking on3rd floor very noticeable. Lani had perfect amount of shade all day. Somewhat crowded with furniture. Only 2 nights of loud parties in a lower unit. Well equipped, Had everything we needed. Nice not to have to make climb to 3rd floor. Would definitely return. Great pool, worked out all but two days of visit, a very important feature for me. Guest bath needs drywall repair and 1 bulb out.

Property had everything you could want. Amazing space, sunset views incredible balcony. Also had plenty of things for a beach day (tent, snorkel gear, chairs, towels). If we come back to the big island we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Fantastic location. Right next to the shore/cliff, where you could hear the waves rolling in while you relax or sleep. A good amount of complimentary beach equipment: 2 beach chairs, 1 umbrella, 4 beach towels, 3 snorkel masks/fins, 4 noodles and few little kiddie sand toys. We will definitely look to return to this property if we return to West Kona.

This was a great experience from ease of booking, information from the site manager to check in. The condo was well appointed, clean and had a gorgeous view. The only thing that marred our experience was the folks in the condo above us, very loud walking around particularly at 6am! Certainly not the fault of vrbo, just an alert if that would bother you.

We loved this place so much and hope to return again next year! This was our third visit to KKSRC, and this unit did not disappoint! Very comfy furniture inside and outside on the lanai, which was where we spent most of our time. Clean and well stocked, comfy beds, spacious and well laid out. The views are amazing and the sound of the surf is incredible. Great pool and amenities. Can’t wait to return!

Our 33rd trip to Hawaii. What an amazing location backing onto the ocean. During the day we enjoyed the thundering waves and passing boats, at night we enjoyed the sounds of the waves on the rocks. Beautiful sound to put you to sleep. The condo is very clean, in excellent condition and with very comfortable furniture. We are very pleased and will book this condo again.

November 2022
This is a wonderful unit with a great ocean view. It is nicely decorated and stocked with pretty much everything you need. So close to the KTA supermarket you could probably walk if you wanted to. It is showing its age a little, but has been well maintained. Had a couple minor issues with the second bathroom that we reported to property management.

Very spacious unit with incredible views. We spent a majority of our time on the lanai enjoying being Oceanside. Having the pickle ball court and pool was a plus as well. Would stay here again.

This was one of our favorite view's of the rentals we have been at. We go often. Condo was clean and organized, kitchen had everything we needed. Pool was clean and a close walk from the unit. Close to shops and resturants. Would stay again.

Short walk to pool. Nicely furnished, good art, great well-supplied kitchen, new fridge. Balcony/lanai overlooking oceanfront. Fans kept air moving throughout. I'd stay there again, anytime. It was a great stay.

A beautiful property with an ocean view! The entire condo was exactly as pictured!! We will definitely stay again when we return! Thank you for sharing your incredible home!

June 2022
We arrived to a clean, beautiful condo and a view that took our breath away. We enjoyed quiet mornings on the lanai, sipping coffee and watching the kayaks and canoes. One morning we were even treated to a show by the local spinner dolphins. The condo is clean, beds are comfortable, and we had everything we needed for meal prep and daily trips to the beach. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful location (balcony views are incredible), but unit is definitely showing its age. Patio doors and screens are hard to open, Some walls/doors/floors in need of repair. Generally clean, but kitchen/hall, and balcony rugs were dirty and we saw/killed one cockroach. Could hear people stomping around in unit above and hear them talking loudly.

May 2022
We had a wonderful time resting on the property, using the amenities available and driving around the area. The condo was a perfect fit for our family (2 teen boys). The only drawbacks were the heavy steps running above us and the tv in the bedroom didn’t work (however I never bothered to contact the owner to get help…not a big issue). The lanai was amazing and so relaxing. We would recommend the condo. Thank you 🙏🏼

Great place It’s a walk to the pool, but it is great— (8’ deep!) Ocean crashes on rocks just below back deck

February 2022
This is a very nice condo and, yes, as others have mentioned, the living room furniture is a bit worn, but perfectly comfortable. More importantly, the beds were comfortable--not too hard, not too soft.. Kitchen and appliances are good. Two-bedroom condos at KBSRC are spacious and well laid out for friends traveling together, as you can close off the bedroom/bathroom areas for privacy. We were a bit disappointed that there wasn't any snorkeling equipment but maybe that's because of COVID. The only thing I would recommend is that the complex advise people in the rules to walk quietly, as we were below some very heavy walkers, which is annoying for such a relaxing place otherwise.

February 2022
Our family of 4 stayed at the property to explore the Kona side of the island (we stayed at Volcano to explore Volcanoes National Park). We had a great stay. The place is exactly as described and as pictured in the photos. Furnishings were updated and nicer than most places we've stayed. Really spacious and clean. It was very comfortable for a family of 4. There's a lovely lanai and we ate there every day while looking out onto the ocean. The unit is in a gated complex, where the units looked much newer than the places we saw along the drive to Kona, and it was in a beautiful and safe surrounding area. Just a few minutes drive to great snorkeling and about 15 min pleasant drive to main Kona strip. Though it's a little south of Kona, we didn't notice the distance at all because it was close enough. There's a mini mall just a 2 minutes away with a full supermarket. Some reviewers mentioned they could hear people running above. There is some noise that travels down, but it really wasn't enough to bother us, and you figure you're out most of the time anyways. Communication with the property manager was a breeze, and we had a great stay. If we stay again, I'd probably pick this location over Kona. I think it runs a little cheaper as well.

We loved this condo! A new all time favorite and we've stayed in many VRBOs. Property manager was always friendly and quickly responsive. Very tidy and comfortable home! Loved the beautiful view from the nice sized lanai and all the comfortable seating. The only thing missing was a small cooler for beach days. Would definitely recommend this condo!

January 2022
Our stay here was extremely comfortable! Everything was clean and the pictures are an accurate representation of the property and check-in instructions were extremely straightforward and easy. Kevin was extremely quick and helpful with responses about anything I had questions about. Most of the necessary amenities were available and ready for us to use (except for shower accessories). There is no air conditioning as listed, but there are several fans available and an amazing ocean breeze that diminishes the impact of that. However, it might be more of an issue in the hot summer months (we were on the Big Island in December). The view is beautiful and incredibly relaxing. The location is great too-- close proximity to a lot of attractions with driving (I would definitely recommend renting a car on the Big Island). Overall, this was a great experience and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay on the Big Island!

Great property and location. Internet was slow so don’t plan on working during your vacation. We were concerned about no ac but temp was comfortable In October thanks to all the fans. I imagine the warmer weather might be more challenging. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment.. BBQ nearby. We are ready to go back!!!

Great condo, second floor with wonderful ocean views from the living room, master and large lanai. Everything we needed for our stay, nice complex with pool and tennis. Kevin was wonderful with tips and help and the check in/out process was all very easy. Would certainly go back! Thanks!

October 2021
This rental was easy to stay in and beautiful. You can hear the ocean from both bedrooms. I could have sat on the lanai for hours watching the waves crash in the rocks. Parking was simple as was the lockbox entry. There are a few restaurants nearby (they close early), a drug store and a market. we drove to see the volcano (took almost 2 hours- it was erupting... totally worth it.). The snorkeling equipment was fine and we snorkeled at a bunch of places. We did not use the pool but it looked nice as well. There is a lot of space between things on the big island and this is central uet not in kailua kona which is touristy and a little crowded. we also had some questions for the manager and he responded promptly.

This resort is located in an ideal location away from the main drag and the busy tourist areas. The on-site amenities are very nice including the pool and common areas. It is walking distance to a shopping center with a grocery store and multiple restaurant options. There is a public beach area about 1 mile down the road that is nice but crowded. The complex has some very interesting archealogical sites on the property and nearby. The unit has a wonderful lanai that overlooks the ocean and is great for watching the waves crash against the black lava rock. We ate breakfast every morning on the lanai and enjoyed the sunsets whenever we were there. It is very roomy with a nice kitchen and recently updated bathrooms. The furniture is old and needs to be replaced. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint. There is no air conditioning but the ocean breezes make it acceptable. The owner contacted us upon arrival and was very pleasant. He mentioned that new furniture has been ordered but is delayed due to Covid. The unit included some nice beach gear (chairs, towels, snorkeling) and a few food items that we didn't need to buy at the store. We loved the stay here Aug 3-11, 2021. We did day-long drives on three different days. We drove north to the Pololu lookout, south to Volcanoes NP and the green sand beach, and east to Hilo. The best day was the eastern drive which included stops at Waipio lookout, Hawaii Botanical Garden/Bioreserve and Mauna Kea summit. The Botanical garden is a MUST with the most beautiful plants, flowers and views on the island - well worth the $25 entrance fee. Ken's House of Pancakes in Hilo is a great lunch spot. We loved the Mauna Kea summit at sunset but the drive home was tortuous. Volcanos NP was OK but not as spectacular as some of the other parks we've visited in the west. The best beaches were Makalewena and Hapuna. A 4WD vehicle is required to access the 2 mile path to Makalewana but it is well worth the effort as the beach is beautiful and not very crowded. We did three excursions: Paradise helicopter, Sea Paradise snorkeling, and Body Glove sunset dinner cruise. The helicopter was OK and pricey. Sea Paradise was wonderful and reasonably priced. The dinner cruise was nice and the food was good, although the boat ride was a little rough. Overall, it was a great time in a nice resort on a wonderful island. The Keauhou-Kona resort was a great decision and we would happily return there.

The apartment is lovely. It is hot and humid on that side of the island, and there is no air conditioning (tradewinds help!)--but if there were a/c, you'd be tempted to turn it on and you wouldn't enjoy the sound of the waves. People on the lanai upstairs can be loud in the morning, so we learned to go to bed early and get up with the breakfast crowd. I broke my foot on the first day of our two-week stay, so I was lucky I had picked such a beautiful place.

Chip R.
June 2021
Nice location with a great view of ocean sunsets. The kitchen was well supplied with cookware, utensils and appliances for those that like to eat in. The unit has some of the minor wear and tear common in vacation rentals but overall it was clean and well maintained.
