Day 1 through day 12 was nothing less than perfect! Listening to the waves crash right outside our window was wonderful. The condo was the perfect size for 4 adults. We walked to Haycraft Beach almost everyday with ease. This was actually one of our favorite beaches we visited. We were centrally located and never felt we were to far from anything we wanted to do! We will definitely The corner unit was a plus. Unfortunately, 2 days before we left, they cut down 3 palm trees in front of the condo but it’s still a beautiful view!

Beautiful spot looking out over the ocean. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Sea turtles were right out front playing in the waves everyday. The location was quite central for the driving tours we did on the island. We were able to get a good sleep everynight as the beds were comfortable and the ceiling fan or a/c kept the room at a good temperature. Great place !

The location was perfect. Its some of the best weather you usually avoid rain. Watched Whales, and Turtles from the Lanai. Haycraft Park is a gem on the end of a long beach. Snorkeled with Turtles and saw many fish.

Condo was right on the water between the marina and the beaches at Kihei. Great view and nice breeze. The condo had air conditioning but we didn’t need it. If we return to Maui in the future we will definitely try to stay in this condo again. Oh I forgot to mention whale activity can be spotted anytime in daylight hours. Great experience.

Perfect location for the close beach access, sunrise off balcony over the ocean with mountain view. We were also fortunate to see whales and turtles swimming near by. Less busy area, but 4 miles from Kihea. Would come here again.

Perfect place. Quiet neighborhood. Beach within walking distance. Fully equipped with everything you need for the beach. Loved the fact that beach chairs and boogie boards were there. Rooms were super. Right on the ocean. Kids loved the pool. Washer and dryer right in the condo was great to have. Also, private parking was also a plus.

Crew Rest Maui was a great location. The 2 bedroom/2 bath unit worked well for our family. The lanai was enjoyed morning, noon, and night. Listening to the waves of the Pacific crashing on shore, and seeing whales surfacing was a treat. We had a good time.

I loved this condo! I could hear the waves crashing all night from the master bedroom. Iys a great central location for those who want to visit all of the island by car. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if u like to walk everywhere bc there’s not a whole lot walking distance but I loved the location & the condo. Stephanie was easy to get a hold of when I had a question. We truly loved staying here & plan to again!

Wh enjoyed our stay and would return to this init specifically. The condo was well furnished with extra amenities like enough coffee pods to get started, condiments in the fridge and spices in the cupboard. The owner was at the unit just before us and bought a bottle of organic EVOO!

Thank you for being wonderfully hospitable hosts with prompt communication, fully stocked beach gear, and offering many local recommendations to make our stay in Maui so delightful. They even left a thoughtful welcome gift! The location of the accommodation is in close proximity to the beach and in a quiet, less-commercialized area. Crew Rest was a haven in the midst of the wildfires. Our prayers and hearts go out to the amazing people here pressing on and rebuilding from the devastation. We will definitely try to stay here again in the future when we return to Maui!

Crew Rest Maui was amazing! The property is located in a secluded bay that is quiet and peaceful. The ocean is right at your back door. You can see the turtles swimming right from the lanai. We walked the beach every morning. We will definitely be back!

The condo was immaculate, and decorated very warm and beautiful. Everything you could think of wanting was supplied and then some :) Communication with the owner was great, Stephanie was very prompt and helpful. The only disappointment was that it is not actually on a beach. There is a small sandy/rocky beach area behind a nearby condo, but we did not access it. I was disappointed because I had researched many places and my #1 thing was to have easy/close access to the beach. But the ocean views made it worth it!

Crew Rest was so comfortable with beautiful views of Haleakalā and Molokini! The location is perfect, near all attractions. We enjoyed watching the sea turtles every day and even spotted a few whales even though it is a month after whale season. There is a park with a beach within a two minute walk and the Maalaea Aquarium and harbor are within a five minute walk. We spent so much time enjoying meals on the patio, we watched an amazing storm from there. The condo is well stocked, with all small appliances, dishes, glasses, silverware, cutlery, pots & pans, bakeware, food storage, paper towels; blow dryers, toiletries, bedding, towels, etc. It felt like home, but better since it’s Hawaii! There was even a nice little welcome basket. The grounds are well maintained and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and highly recommend!

central location on the island. Quiet, clean condo complex with great views. The air conditioning was a plus for sleeping. I was by myself for a couple of nights before my husband arrived and I felt very safe. Easy 2 min. walk to Haycraft park/beach front. Nice pool and grill area. Great spots on the lawn to sit and enjoy the views. Really nice balcony to sit out on for meals and whale watching (during whale season)

We found the Crews Rest to be exactly as advertised, comfortable, well maintained, kitchen well equipped, and a beautiful location. The owners were quick to respond to any question and even added an air fryer because we asked if there was one. The location was perfect with beautiful views of Maalea Harbor, Molokini crater and Haleakala. It was also convenient to Kihei and a quick jaunt to most everywhere else we wanted to go. We loved the fact that the condo was in a quiet area, near the end of a dead end street.
There was actually very little we would change. It was a little disappointing that there was no direct beach access even though we were probably no more than 30 feet from the ocean but that was not a deal breaker for us. I spent every morning on the lanai with my coffee enjoying the peace and quiet waiting the next spectacular sunrise. Also, not a complaint just a statement for awareness. The kitchen is tiny so you have to get creative if you want to have two people working in the kitchen together.🤣

We took our grown kids to Maui and the Crews Rest was perfect for us. We had everything we could ever need. The view of the ocean was amazing. We all had a great time at Crew Rest Maui! The location was perfect and conveniently located near every spot we explored. The condo was well equipped with plenty of beach towels and beach essentials. The lanai was perfect - the view was absolutely gorgeous and we enjoyed watching sunrise and sunset. Thank you for making us feel at home in YOUR home! The beds were comfortable and so was the pull out couch. If we're ever back in Maui, we will definitely stay again.

If you like things low key this is an excellent place. It doesn’t have the hustle and bustle outside your door. The condo is well stocked with all sorts of snorkeling and beach gear. Your only yards from a great beach and a heated pool really no need to go anywhere else! But if you want to go exploring it’s close to all the attractions Maui has to offer.

This condo had a lovely lanai with waterfrontage. It was well stocked with towels, coolers, beach chairs, toys and kitchen ware. Everything you could possibly need for your vacation. The A/C was a plus and the pool close by. It is only 15 minutes from the airport and close to excellent windsurfing.

We really can't say enough about our week at Crew Rest Maui. The Jeffers were wonderful to work with, they've provided everything and then some. The condo is in a fantastic location for getting around the island, but also a great place to just hang out and enjoy the beautiful weather. Watching the sun come up from the lanai was my favorite and I lingered there frequently with my book in hand. I'd highly recommend this property to anyone and we absolutely be back someday. Not soon enough, though! Thank you so much and Mahalo!

We had never been to Maui before, so we based our choice on the reviews for this property. We were NOT disappointed! It was down a quiet dead-end street that ended with a wonderful little beach access park. All the relaxation you want with full ocean views (we actually watched turtles from the balcony every day!), cool trade wind breezes that made it possible to not even turn on the AC the entire trip! It is a central location with easy access to all of the places you want to see on the island. Plenty of cool little places to eat, explore & enjoy only minutes away! We throughly enjoyed every minute of this vacation & we know we wouldn’t have had as good of a time if we hadn’t stayed here…away from the hustle & bustle of the crowds after a busy day exploring Maui! We will definitely book this property again in the future!!

Let me start of by saying if you’re deciding to go to this property, take this as a sign to GO! You will not be disappointed! We stayed a week here and after arriving quickly wished we planned for longer. This property was clean and homie fully equipped with all you will need to enjoy your stay. A kitchen filled with cookware and utensils to use on the property ( we took advantage of the grill poolside). Each room had boogie boards to use at the beach which might I add was absolutely amazing and right outside your door! Also this location is close enough to all the activities Maui has to offer. Thank you for a wonderful first time to the island we can’t wait to come back soon!!!

This was a great place to stay if you want to stay away from all the crowded places, yet you are close enough to go to all the places easily. Very clean. Has everything you would need for your stay. Amazing views and great snorkeling just outside the condo. Hosts are super nice and really quick at getting back to you. Would recommend this place for anyone to stay.

Our family LOVED our stay at Crew Rest Maui!!! The central location of this condo is perfect, quiet and equipped with everything one would need to have an incredible time. We Loved watching the turtles right from the launi (which is immediately right insight upon opening the door)!!!! The beach is perfect for long walks, snorkeling, great shelling and practically empty!!! Listening to the waves crash at night was so soothing & the Hawaiian breezes made for such a comfortable stay, we never turned the air on despite the mid 80 degree temps. Definitely recommend a car to explore all Maui has to offer, but the condo has stores/restaurants within walking distance. A great place - we hated to leave but can’t wait to return during whale migration. Thanks for sharing your amazing condo with us!!!!

The property is located in a less touristy spot but still provides all the things you need close by. It is water front and the sights and sounds are amazing. The condo is so nicely updated but maintains an island feel. It has everything you need from sand toys to snorkels and boogie boards to Tupperware and grilling stuff. We felt so relaxed and comfortable there!
We did not use the AC because the breeze allowed for very comfortable temperatures throughout the condo. The area had a nice mix of activity and people and quiet peaceful times. Water was awesome.

What a fabulous place to stay! When you walk in the front door you can see the ocean. The unit is at the end in the corner so you have amazing views out of all of the windows. The ocean is RIGHT THERE! You can prop the front door open to enjoy the ocean breeze while maintaining privacy as no one walks by (low traffic and end unit). Lots of parking available. East contactless entry. Great location for access to all Maui has to offer. Thoughtfully set up including cold water waiting in the fridge. Comfortable, clean and everything you could hope for in a vacation accommodation.

Very well kept, equipped, and clean. Right on the water, beautiful. There are a couple restaurants nearby, however if you are looking for that atmosphere of being able to walk out your door and have a few coffee shops and retailers in a few blocks radius this is a more private area with only condo buildings down the road. These things are about a 15-20 minute drive, a beautiful one at that.

Communication with owners is quick, check in smooth, beds are comfortable and enjoyed listening to the ocean all night, view from lanai is lovely. The owners greeted us with a box of macadamia chocolates and a bottled water on the table. We were able to find a parking spot easily. There's an elevator with a luggage cart. The condo has beach towels, boogie boards, masks and snorkels, beach chairs, some spices, washer dryer, and more.

We came for the Christmas break 2019 and enjoyed our time in this unit. The place is very well equipped and the new A/C makes things nice on the warm days. There are lots of beach towels and beach equipment so we didn't have to purchase anything. The kitchen is very well stocked so again there was minimum for us to purchase other than our groceries. The property owner/manager was very easy to deal with.
The only negative was the beach and beach access out front had washed away due to high surf leaving only the road access to the beach behind the property but what can you do about nature.

Stephanie was excellent with communication, responded to my questions quickly & thoroughly. Unit itself was clean & very well kept, new AC & other amenities as advertised. Vacationed here with 3 teenagers, and was enough room for all of us. The sofa sleeper was super comfy, too (again, as advertised)! We had everything we needed & enjoyed our stay so much! Overall property is older construction, and needed to hop in the car to get to most places, but centrally located on the island, which is a plus. Loved our ocean view & hearing the waves crashing right outside our balcony...definitely worth the price, as you cannot get this close to the ocean staying in a traditional hotel without paying an outrageous amount for it. Enjoyed walking on the beach, but had to time it if coming straight from the unit, as it's tricky when it's high tide, since property is so close to the water. There is a long stretch of beach adjacent to the property, but the beach immediately in front of unit is not ideal for play or snorkeling...amazing for enjoying the view. If you go further down the beach a bit, there is more sandy beach area for play...it's literally steps away. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We loved it!

Our family of 5 with 3 teenagers really enjoyed our stay at the property, especially the beds even the hide away bed. They were comfortable and allowed great night sleep except for the birds outside on a few mornings. The location is great if you’re looking for a quiet central location to go north, south or to the airport area. The condo was nicely decorated and modern with a few nice touches. The 3 individual zones A/C at night was great to cool things down at bedtime especially with the birds outside in the morning. When we visited, the fridge was pretty well stocked with condiments but we purchased 2 sets of snorkel gear and left them behind. The pool was heated and warm and the ocean waves were just feet from the lanai.

This condo is in the perfect location. We drove over 600 miles in 8 days visiting various beaches/landmarks and because of its central location, we still managed to spend the mornings on the lanai and evenings at the BBQ.
Although all units in this complex have an ocean-view, there is something special about having direct oceanfront. We loved hearing the sounds of the ocean at night and watching the waves crash against the seawall at high tide.
We were grateful to have A/C during the evenings that were extra muggy because it took the humidity out of the air, but on the nights that were more dry, it was nice to open up the windows to feel the trade winds.
My kids thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool. You would think that a non-heated pool would be sufficient given the climate, but it would have been chilly in the morning or evening without the heating element.
It was so nice to have a washer/dryer in the unit. I will never stay anywhere that doesn’t have this as an option (who wants to waste vacation time in a community laundry room)?
The sofa mattress was very comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the condo is at the end of a hallway and on a dead-end street, which makes the unit feel safe and quiet.
Stephanie was proactive in communicating and responded quickly to our questions. You won’t regret your choice to stay here and we hope to be back sooner than later!

Crew Rest Maui at the Kanai a Nalu Condos in Ma’alaea was the perfect choice for our first trip to Maui. We were centrally located to both West and South Maui and all of the other activities we wanted to do on the island. The area was quiet and peaceful, yet had several restaurants and shops at the harbor within walking distance. We were on the island with other family members who also stayed at Kanai a Nalu, and all agreed that our unit was the best of the three. From the tasteful decor, to the waterfront lanai, to the split A/C, we were very happy with our stay. If you are considering Maui and aren’t sure if you should stay west or south, this is the perfect spot in between, and Crew Rest was the perfect unit! We hope to return someday!

We spent 4 nights at Mike and Stephanie’s condo and loved every minute. There’s plenty of room (2 bathrooms, always a plus!) for a family of 4. We loved the fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer. It’s got amazing views from the lanai and you can’t beat falling asleep to the sound of the waves. The pool was great and never crowded, should you get tired of the beach. Mike and Stephanie have thought of every amenity to make the condo feel like home. And it was spotless on our arrival, as if we were their first guests. Easy off street parking and walking distance to a handful of restaurants, shops and mini golf. We hope to be back again! Thanks Mike & Stephanie!

The view was great! The ocean waves and sound was also amazing. She was able to get us to check in early which was awesome! Only downfall was when we did get in the housekeeper didn’t do a great job cleaning. Lots of dust and dirt on the floor. It wasn’t mopped. Didn’t need to use the AC because the weather was perfect with just the ceiling fans. Great amount of beach stuff for the kids to use and play with. We loved the location, but one thing we wished was that the people downstairs wasn’t so loud. The walls aren’t very thick. We could hear them moving furniture around every day the week we were there starting at 5am. It was horrible. They would move all the furniture around every morning and night. They had so many people downstairs that it was very loud. Other than the noisy and obnoxious people downstairs everything was great. Thank you Stephanie for everything!

We stayed Feb 2010 in this beautiful condo. It is so much quieter than Kaanapali as there are just a few Condos and most only 4 stories, not 30 storiest. We were RIGHT ON the beach and could hear the waves each evening thru the master bedroom window. It is SO CENTRALLY located that we could go to almost every place on the Island in just 15 minutes time. The Whale foundation, Aquarium and small shopping area, and dining within walking distance were also excellent. We had a truly wonderful time enjoying the Condo and the Island. We are former Oahu residents, so are very aware of how crowded many places and Resorts are. Be sure and go walk the Grounds at the Grand Wailea and at least part of the Hana Road experience. We had people who got car sick but enjoyed just a few miles of the Hana road. We flew around in a small aircraft (pilot with us) and looks like the Helicopter flights (Air Maui) would be wonderful to do another trip.

This is the 2nd time we stayed at Don and Colleen's condo. This latest time was 8/5/07 through 8/21/07. They have a very nice condo, great for a family. I love the location and that is an end unit. Master looks over the beach and pool, 2nd looks over the pool. No issues with not wanting to leave a window open in the 2nd bedroom since a lot of the time the second bedrooms face a walkway. Lanai looks directly onto the beach (35 ft). No A/C, but it is not needed with the tradewinds that come through the valley and through Maalaea. Nice central location 20-25 minutes to Lahina, 10 minutes to central Kihei, 10 minutes to Kahalui. Like not being in the middle of a "city", sugarcane field behind complex. A little market within walking distance up the street for the emergency milk or small needs. I like the tile floor throughout the unit, so much easier to see that it is clean than carpet. We usually had breakfast at the condo, 75 / 25 on dinner, using the BBQ's out by the pool is very nice setting (they have gas a charcoal). Had no problems with anything, a non issue which is how it is supposed to work.
